Surah 2 al-Baqara (The Cow)
RefArabic    TransliterationTranslation
(2:40)

يَٰبَنِىٓ  إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ  ٱذْكُرُوا۟  نِعْمَتِىَ  ٱلَّتِىٓ  أَنْعَمْتُ  عَلَيْكُمْ  وَأَوْفُوا۟  بِعَهْدِىٓ  أُوفِ  بِعَهْدِكُمْ  وَإِيَّٰىَ  فَٱرْهَبُونِ yā‑banī isrāʾīla idhkurū niʿmatiya allatī anʿamtu ʿalaykum wa‑awfū biʿahdī ūfi biʿahdikum wa‑iyyāya fa‑arhabūni
O Children of Israel! call to mind the (special) favour which I bestowed upon you, and fulfil your covenant with Me as I fulfil My Covenant with you, and fear none but Me.
(2:47)

يَٰبَنِىٓ  إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ  ٱذْكُرُوا۟  نِعْمَتِىَ  ٱلَّتِىٓ  أَنْعَمْتُ  عَلَيْكُمْ  وَأَنِّى  فَضَّلْتُكُمْ  عَلَى  ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ yā‑banī isrāʾīla idhkurū niʿmatiya allatī anʿamtu ʿalaykum wa‑annī faḍḍaltukum ʿalā l‑ʿālamīna
Children of Israel! call to mind the (special) favour which I bestowed upon you, and that I preferred you to all other (for My Message).
(2:63)

And remember We took your covenant and We raised above you (The towering height) of Mount (Sinai) : (Saying): "Hold firmly to what We have given you and bring (ever) to remembrance what is therein: Perchance ye may fear Allah."
(2:122)

يَٰبَنِىٓ  إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ  ٱذْكُرُوا۟  نِعْمَتِىَ  ٱلَّتِىٓ  أَنْعَمْتُ  عَلَيْكُمْ  وَأَنِّى  فَضَّلْتُكُمْ  عَلَى  ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ yā‑banī isrāʾīla idhkurū niʿmatiya allatī anʿamtu ʿalaykum wa‑annī faḍḍaltukum ʿalā l‑ʿālamīna
O Children of Israel! call to mind the special favour which I bestowed upon you, and that I preferred you to all others (for My Message).
(2:152)

Then do ye remember Me; I will remember you. Be grateful to Me, and reject not Faith.
(2:198)

لَيْسَ  عَلَيْكُمْ  جُنَاحٌ  أَن  تَبْتَغُوا۟  فَضْلًا  مِّن  رَّبِّكُمْ  فَإِذَآ  أَفَضْتُم  مِّنْ  عَرَفَٰتٍ  فَٱذْكُرُوا۟  ٱللَّـهَ  عِندَ  ٱلْمَشْعَرِ  ٱلْحَرَامِ  وَٱذْكُرُوهُ  كَمَا  هَدَىٰكُمْ  وَإِن  كُنتُم  مِّن  قَبْلِهِۦ  لَمِنَ  ٱلضَّآلِّينَ laysa ʿalaykum junāḥun an tabtaghū faḍlan min rabbikum fa‑idhā afaḍtum min ʿarafātin fa‑idhkurū allāha ʿinda l‑mashʿari l‑ḥarāmi wa‑adhkurūhu ka‑mā hadākum wa‑in kuntum min qablihi la‑mina l‑ḍāllīna
It is no crime in you if ye seek of the bounty of your Lord (during pilgrimage). Then when ye pour down from (Mount) Arafat, celebrate the praises of Allah at the Sacred Monument, and celebrate His praises as He has directed you, even though, before this, ye went astray.
(2:200)

فَإِذَا  قَضَيْتُم  مَّنَٰسِكَكُمْ  فَٱذْكُرُوا۟  ٱللَّـهَ  كَذِكْرِكُمْ  ءَابَآءَكُمْ  أَوْ  أَشَدَّ  ذِكْرًا  فَمِنَ  ٱلنَّاسِ  مَن  يَقُولُ  رَبَّنَآ  ءَاتِنَا  فِى  ٱلدُّنْيَا  وَمَا  لَهُۥ  فِى  ٱلْأَخِرَةِ  مِنْ  خَلَٰقٍ fa‑idhā qaḍaytum manāsikakum fa‑idhkurū allāha kadhikrikum ābāʾakum aw ashadda dhikran fa‑mina l‑nāsi man yaqūlu rabbanā ātinā l‑dunyā wa‑mā lahu l‑akhirati min khalāqin
So when ye have accomplished your holy rites, celebrate the praises of Allah, as ye used to celebrate the praises of your fathers,- yea, with far more Heart and soul. There are men who say: "Our Lord! Give us (Thy bounties) in this world!" but they will have no portion in the Hereafter.
(2:203)

وَٱذْكُرُوا۟  ٱللَّـهَ  فِىٓ  أَيَّامٍ  مَّعْدُودَٰتٍ  فَمَن  تَعَجَّلَ  فِى  يَوْمَيْنِ  فَلَآ  إِثْمَ  عَلَيْهِ  وَمَن  تَأَخَّرَ  فَلَآ  إِثْمَ  عَلَيْهِ  لِمَنِ  ٱتَّقَىٰ  وَٱتَّقُوا۟  ٱللَّـهَ  وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟  أَنَّكُمْ  إِلَيْهِ  تُحْشَرُونَ wa‑idhkurū allāha ayyāmin maʿdūdātin fa‑man taʿajjala yawmayni fa‑lā ithma ʿalayhi wa‑man taʾakhkhara fa‑lā ithma ʿalayhi limani ittaqā wa‑ittaqū allāha wa‑iʿlamū annakum ilayhi tuḥsharūna
Celebrate the praises of Allah during the Appointed Days. But if any one hastens to leave in two days, there is no blame on him, and if any one stays on, there is no blame on him, if his aim is to do right. Then fear Allah, and know that ye will surely be gathered unto Him.
(2:231)

When ye divorce women, and they fulfil the term of their ('Iddat), either take them back on equitable terms or set them free on equitable terms; but do not take them back to injure them, (or) to take undue advantage; if any one does that; He wrongs his own soul. Do not treat Allah's Signs as a jest, but solemnly rehearse Allah's favours on you, and the fact that He sent down to you the Book and Wisdom, for your instruction. And fear Allah, and know that Allah is well acquainted with all things.
(2:235)

وَلَا  جُنَاحَ  عَلَيْكُمْ  فِيمَا  عَرَّضْتُم  بِهِۦ  مِنْ  خِطْبَةِ  ٱلنِّسَآءِ  أَوْ  أَكْنَنتُمْ  فِىٓ  أَنفُسِكُمْ  عَلِمَ  ٱللَّـهُ  أَنَّكُمْ  سَتَذْكُرُونَهُنَّ  وَلَٰكِن  لَّا  تُوَاعِدُوهُنَّ  سِرًّا  إِلَّآ  أَن  تَقُولُوا۟  قَوْلًا  مَّعْرُوفًا  وَلَا  تَعْزِمُوا۟  عُقْدَةَ  ٱلنِّكَاحِ  حَتَّىٰ  يَبْلُغَ  ٱلْكِتَٰبُ  أَجَلَهُۥ  وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟  أَنَّ  ٱللَّـهَ  يَعْلَمُ  مَا  فِىٓ  أَنفُسِكُمْ  فَٱحْذَرُوهُ  وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟  أَنَّ  ٱللَّـهَ  غَفُورٌ  حَلِيمٌ wa‑lā junāḥa ʿalaykum fī‑mā ʿarraḍtum bihi min khiṭbati l‑nisāʾi aw aknantum anfusikum ʿalima allāhu annakum sa‑tadhkurūnāhunna wa‑lākin tuwāʿidūhunna sirran illā an taqūlū qawlan maʿrūfan wa‑lā taʿzimū ʿuqdata l‑nikāḥi ḥattā yablugha l‑kitābu ajalahu waʿlamū annā allāha yaʿlamu anfusikum faḥdharūhu wa‑iʿlamū annā allāha ghafūrun ḥalīmun
There is no blame on you if ye make an offer of betrothal or hold it in your hearts. Allah knows that ye cherish them in your hearts: But do not make a secret contract with them except in terms Honourable, nor resolve on the tie of marriage till the term prescribed is fulfilled. And know that Allah Knoweth what is in your hearts, and take heed of Him; and know that Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Forbearing.
(2:239)

فَإِنْ  خِفْتُمْ  فَرِجَالًا  أَوْ  رُكْبَانًا  فَإِذَآ  أَمِنتُمْ  فَٱذْكُرُوا۟  ٱللَّـهَ  كَمَا  عَلَّمَكُم  مَّا  لَمْ  تَكُونُوا۟  تَعْلَمُونَ fa‑in khiftum farijālan aw rukbānan fa‑idhā amintum fa‑idhkurū allāha ka‑mā ʿallamakum lam takūnū taʿlamūna
If ye fear (an enemy), pray on foot, or riding, (as may be most convenient), but when ye are in security, celebrate Allah's praises in the manner He has taught you, which ye knew not (before).

He said: "O my Lord! Give me a Sign!" "Thy Sign," was the answer, "Shall be that thou shalt speak to no man for three days but with signals. Then celebrate the praises of thy Lord again and again, and glorify Him in the evening and in the morning."
(3:103)

And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude Allah's favour on you; for ye were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, ye became brethren; and ye were on the brink of the pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus doth Allah make His Signs clear to you: That ye may be guided.

They ask thee what is lawful to them (as food). Say: lawful unto you are (all) things good and pure: and what ye have taught your trained hunting animals (to catch) in the manner directed to you by Allah: eat what they catch for you, but pronounce the name of Allah over it: and fear Allah; for Allah is swift in taking account.

O ye who believe! Call in remembrance the favour of Allah unto you when certain men formed the design to stretch out their hands against you, but (Allah) held back their hands from you: so fear Allah. And on Allah let believers put (all) their trust.
(5:20)

Then will Allah say: "O Jesus the son of Mary! Recount My favour to thee and to thy mother. Behold! I strengthened thee with the holy spirit, so that thou didst speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. Behold! I taught thee the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel and behold! thou makest out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, by My leave, and thou breathest into it and it becometh a bird by My leave, and thou healest those born blind, and the lepers, by My leave. And behold! thou bringest forth the dead by My leave. And behold! I did restrain the Children of Israel from (violence to) thee when thou didst show them the clear Signs, and the unbelievers among them said: 'This is nothing but evident magic.'

Leave alone those who take their religion to be mere play and amusement, and are deceived by the life of this world. But proclaim (to them) this (truth): that every soul delivers itself to ruin by its own acts: it will find for itself no protector or intercessor except Allah: if it offered every ransom, (or reparation), none will be accepted: such is (the end of) those who deliver themselves to ruin by their own acts: they will have for drink (only) boiling water, and for punishment, one most grievous: for they persisted in rejecting Allah.
(6:80)

Surah 10 Yūnus (Jonah)

Verily your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the throne (of authority), regulating and governing all things. No intercessor (can plead with Him) except after His leave (hath been obtained). This is Allah your Lord; Him therefore serve ye: will ye not receive admonition?

Surah 11 Hūd (Hud)
(11:24)

وَقَالَ  لِلَّذِى  ظَنَّ  أَنَّهُۥ  نَاجٍ  مِّنْهُمَا  ٱذْكُرْنِى  عِندَ  رَبِّكَ  فَأَنسَىٰهُ  ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ  ذِكْرَ  رَبِّهِۦ  فَلَبِثَ  فِى  ٱلسِّجْنِ  بِضْعَ  سِنِينَ wa‑qāla lilladhī ẓanna annahu nājin minhumā adhkurnī ʿinda rabbika fa‑ansāhu l‑shayṭānu dhikra rabbihi fa‑labitha l‑sijni biḍʿa sinīna
And of the two, to that one whom he consider about to be saved, he said: "Mention me to thy lord." But Satan made him forget to mention him to his lord: and (Joseph) lingered in prison a few (more) years.
(12:85)

We sent Moses with Our signs (and the command). "Bring out thy people from the depths of darkness into light, and teach them to remember the Days of Allah." Verily in this there are Signs for such as are firmly patient and constant,- grateful and appreciative.
(14:6)

وَإِذْ  قَالَ  مُوسَىٰ  لِقَوْمِهِ  ٱذْكُرُوا۟  نِعْمَةَ  ٱللَّـهِ  عَلَيْكُمْ  إِذْ  أَنجَىٰكُم  مِّنْ  ءَالِ  فِرْعَوْنَ  يَسُومُونَكُمْ  سُوٓءَ  ٱلْعَذَابِ  وَيُذَبِّحُونَ  أَبْنَآءَكُمْ  وَيَسْتَحْيُونَ  نِسَآءَكُمْ  وَفِى  ذَٰلِكُم  بَلَآءٌ  مِّن  رَّبِّكُمْ  عَظِيمٌ wa‑idh qalā mūsā li‑qawmihi idhkurū niʿmata allāhi ʿalaykum idh anjakum min āli firʿawna yasūmūnakum suʾa l‑ʿadhābi wa‑yudhabbiḥūna abnāʾakum wa‑yastaḥyūna nisāʾakum wa‑fī dhālikum balāʾun min rabbikum ʿaẓīmun
