Sura al-Baqara 2:55

وَإِذْ قُلْتُمْ يَٰمُوسَىٰ لَن نُّؤْمِنَ لَكَ حَتَّىٰ نَرَى ٱللَّـهَ جَهْرَةً فَأَخَذَتْكُمُ ٱلصَّٰعِقَةُ وَأَنتُمْ تَنظُرُونَ

wa-idh qultum yā-mūsā lan nuʾmina la-ka ḥattā narā allāha jahratan fa-akhadhatkumu l-ṣāʿiqatu wa-antum tanẓurūna

And remember ye said: "O Moses! We shall never believe in thee until we see Allah manifestly," but ye were dazed with thunder and lighting even as ye looked on.

Sura al-Baqara 2:144

قَدْ نَرَىٰ تَقَلُّبَ وَجْهِكَ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَلَنُوَلِّيَنَّكَ قِبْلَةً تَرْضَىٰهَا فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ وَحَيْثُ مَا كُنتُمْ فَوَلُّوا۟ وُجُوهَكُمْ شَطْرَهُۥ وَإِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ لَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ وَمَا ٱللَّـهُ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا يَعْمَلُونَ

qad narā taqalluba wajhika fī l-samāʾi fa-la-nuwalliyannaka qiblatan tarḍahā fa-walli wajhaka shaṭra l-masjidi l-ḥarāmi waḥaythu mā kuntum fa-wallū wujūhakum shaṭrahu wa-inna lladhīna ūtū l-kitāba layaʿlamūna annahu l-ḥaqqu min rabbihim wa-mā allāhu bi-ghāfilin ʿammā yaʿmalūna

We see the turning of thy face (for guidance to the heavens: now Shall We turn thee to a Qibla that shall please thee. Turn then Thy face in the direction of the sacred Mosque: Wherever ye are, turn your faces in that direction. The people of the Book know well that that is the truth from their Lord. Nor is Allah unmindful of what they do.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:105

إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ بِٱلْحَقِّ لِتَحْكُمَ بَيْنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِمَآ أَرَىٰكَ ٱللَّـهُ وَلَا تَكُن لِّلْخَآئِنِينَ خَصِيمًا

innā anzalnā ilayka l-kitāba bil-ḥaqqi li-taḥkuma bayna l-nāsi bimā araka allāhu wa-lā takun lil-khāinīna khaṣīman

We have sent down to thee the Book in truth, that thou mightest judge between men, as guided by Allah: so be not (used) as an advocate by those who betray their trust;

Sura al-Anʿām 6:74

وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِيمُ لِأَبِيهِ ءَازَرَ أَتَتَّخِذُ أَصْنَامًا ءَالِهَةً إِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰكَ وَقَوْمَكَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ

wa-idh qalā ibrāhīmu li-abīhi āzara atattakhidhu aṣnāman ālihatan innī araka wa-qawmaka fī ḍalālin mubīnin

Lo! Abraham said to his father Azar: "Takest thou idols for gods? For I see thee and thy people in manifest error."

Sura al-Anʿām 6:75

وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُرِىٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ مَلَكُوتَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَلِيَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُوقِنِينَ

wa-ka-dhālika nurī ibrāhīma malakūta l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍi wa-li-yakūna mina l-mūqinīna

So also did We show Abraham the power and the laws of the heavens and the earth, that he might (with understanding) have certitude.

Sura al-Anʿām 6:94

وَلَقَدْ جِئْتُمُونَا فُرَٰدَىٰ كَمَا خَلَقْنَٰكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَتَرَكْتُم مَّا خَوَّلْنَٰكُمْ وَرَآءَ ظُهُورِكُمْ وَمَا نَرَىٰ مَعَكُمْ شُفَعَآءَكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ زَعَمْتُمْ أَنَّهُمْ فِيكُمْ شُرَكَٰٓؤُا۟ لَقَد تَّقَطَّعَ بَيْنَكُمْ وَضَلَّ عَنكُم مَّا كُنتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ

wa-la-qad jiʾtumūnā furāda ka-mā khalaqnākum awwala marratin wa-taraktum mā khawwalnākum wa-rāʾa ẓuhūrikum wa-mā narā maʿakum shufaʿāʾakumu lladhīna zaʿamtum annahum fīkum shurakāʾu laqad taqaṭṭaʿa baynakum wa-ḍalla ʿankum mā kuntum tazʿumūna

"And behold! ye come to us bare and alone as We created you for the first time: ye have left behind you all (the favours) which We bestowed on you: We see not with you your intercessors whom ye thought to be partners in your affairs: so now all relations between you have been cut off, and your (pet) fancies have left you in the lurch!"

Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:60

قَالَ ٱلْمَلَأُ مِن قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِنَّا لَنَرَىٰكَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ

qalā l-malaʾu min qawmihi innā la-narāka fī ḍalālin mubīnin

The leaders of his people said: "Ah! we see thee evidently wandering (in mind)."

Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:66

قَالَ ٱلْمَلَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِنَّا لَنَرَىٰكَ فِى سَفَاهَةٍ وَإِنَّا لَنَظُنُّكَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ

qalā l-malaʾu lladhīna kafarū min qawmihi innā la-narāka fī safāhatin wa-innā la-naẓunnuka mina l-kādhibīna

The leaders of the Unbelievers among his people said: "Ah! we see thou art an imbecile!" and "We think thou art a liar!"

Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:145

وَكَتَبْنَا لَهُۥ فِى ٱلْأَلْوَاحِ مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ مَّوْعِظَةً وَتَفْصِيلًا لِّكُلِّ شَىْءٍ فَخُذْهَا بِقُوَّةٍ وَأْمُرْ قَوْمَكَ يَأْخُذُوا۟ بِأَحْسَنِهَا سَأُو۟رِيكُمْ دَارَ ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ

wakatabnā lahu fī l-alwāḥi min kulli shayʾin mawʿiẓatan wa-tafṣīlan li-kulli shayʾin fa-khudhhā bi-quwwātin wa-ʾmur qawmaka yaʾkhudhu bi-aḥsanihā sa-ūrīkum dāra l-fāsiqīna

And We ordained laws for him in the tablets in all matters, both commanding and explaining all things, (and said): "Take and hold these with firmness, and enjoin thy people to hold fast by the best in the precepts: soon shall I show you the homes of the wicked,- (How they lie desolate)."

Sura al-Anfāl 8:48

وَإِذْ زَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ وَقَالَ لَا غَالِبَ لَكُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَإِنِّى جَارٌ لَّكُمْ فَلَمَّا تَرَآءَتِ ٱلْفِئَتَانِ نَكَصَ عَلَىٰ عَقِبَيْهِ وَقَالَ إِنِّى بَرِىٓءٌ مِّنكُمْ إِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰ مَا لَا تَرَوْنَ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ ٱللَّـهَ وَٱللَّـهُ شَدِيدُ ٱلْعِقَابِ

wa-idh zayyana lahumu l-shayṭānu aʿmālahum wa-qāla lā ghāliba lakumu l-yawma mina l-nāsi wa-innī jārun la-kum fa-lammā tarāʾati l-fiʾatāni nakaṣa ʿalā ʿaqibayhi wa-qāla innī barīʾun minkum innī ara mā lā tarawna innī akhāfu allāha wallāhu shadīdu l-ʿiqābi

Remember Satan made their (sinful) acts seem alluring to them, and said: "No one among men can overcome you this day, while I am near to you": But when the two forces came in sight of each other, he turned on his heels, and said: "Lo! I am clear of you; lo! I see what ye see not; Lo! I fear Allah: for Allah is strict in punishment."

Sura Yūnus 10:46

وَإِمَّا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعْضَ ٱلَّذِى نَعِدُهُمْ أَوْ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ ثُمَّ ٱللَّـهُ شَهِيدٌ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفْعَلُونَ

wa-immā nuriyannaka baʿḍa alladhī naʿiduhum aw natawaffayannaka fa-ilaynā marjiʿuhum thumma allāhu shahīdun ʿalā mā yafʿalūna

Whether We show thee (realised in thy life-time) some part of what We promise them,- or We take thy soul (to Our Mercy) (Before that),- in any case, to Us is their return: ultimately Allah is witness, to all that they do.

Sura Hūd 11:27

فَقَالَ ٱلْمَلَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن قَوْمِهِۦ مَا نَرَىٰكَ إِلَّا بَشَرًا مِّثْلَنَا وَمَا نَرَىٰكَ ٱتَّبَعَكَ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ أَرَاذِلُنَا بَادِىَ ٱلرَّأْىِ وَمَا نَرَىٰ لَكُمْ عَلَيْنَا مِن فَضْلٍۭ بَلْ نَظُنُّكُمْ كَٰذِبِينَ

fa-qāla l-malaʾu lladhīna kafarū min qawmihi mā naraka illā basharan mithlanā wa-mā naraka ittabaʿaka illā lladhīna hum arādhilunā bādiya l-raʾyi wa-mā narā la-kum ʿalaynā min faḍlin bal naẓunnukum kādhibīna

But the chiefs of the Unbelievers among his people said: "We see (in) thee nothing but a man like ourselves: Nor do we see that any follow thee but the meanest among us, in judgment immature: Nor do we see in you (all) any merit above us: in fact we thing ye are liars!"

Sura Hūd 11:29

وَيَٰقَوْمِ لَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مَالًا إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱللَّـهِ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ بِطَارِدِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِنَّهُم مُّلَٰقُوا۟ رَبِّهِمْ وَلَٰكِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰكُمْ قَوْمًا تَجْهَلُونَ

wa-yā-qawmi lā asʾalukum ʿalayhi mālan in ajriya illā ʿalā allāhi wa-mā anā bi-ṭāridi lladhīna āmanū innahum mulāqū rabbihim wa-lākinnī arākum qawman tajhalūna

"And O my people! I ask you for no wealth in return: my reward is from none but Allah: But I will not drive away (in contempt) those who believe: for verily they are to meet their Lord, and ye I see are the ignorant ones!

Sura Hūd 11:84

وَإِلَىٰ مَدْيَنَ أَخَاهُمْ شُعَيْبًا قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُۥ وَلَا تَنقُصُوا۟ ٱلْمِكْيَالَ وَٱلْمِيزَانَ إِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰكُم بِخَيْرٍ وَإِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ مُّحِيطٍ

wa-ilā madyana akhāhum shuʿayban qalā yā-qawmi iʿbudū allāha mā la-kum min ilāhin ghayruhu wa-lā tanquṣū l-mikyāla wa-l-mīzāna innī arākum bi-khayrin wainnī akhāfu ʿalaykum ʿadhāba yawmin muḥīṭin

To the Madyan People (We sent) Shu'aib, one of their own brethren: he said: "O my people! worship Allah: Ye have no other god but Him. And give not short measure or weight: I see you in prosperity, but I fear for you the penalty of a day that will compass (you) all round.

Sura Hūd 11:91

قَالُوا۟ يَٰشُعَيْبُ مَا نَفْقَهُ كَثِيرًا مِّمَّا تَقُولُ وَإِنَّا لَنَرَىٰكَ فِينَا ضَعِيفًا وَلَوْلَا رَهْطُكَ لَرَجَمْنَٰكَ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيْنَا بِعَزِيزٍ

qālū yā-shuʿaybu mā nafqahu kathīran mimmā taqūlu wa-innā la-narāka fīnā ḍaʿīfan wa-lawlā rahṭuka la-rajamnāka wa-mā anta ʿalaynā bi-ʿazīzin

They said: "O Shu'aib! much of what thou sayest we do not understand! In fact among us we see that thou hast no strength! Were it not for thy family, we should certainly have stoned thee! for thou hast among us no great position!"

Sura Yūsuf 12:4

إِذْ قَالَ يُوسُفُ لِأَبِيهِ يَٰٓأَبَتِ إِنِّى رَأَيْتُ أَحَدَ عَشَرَ كَوْكَبًا وَٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ رَأَيْتُهُمْ لِى سَٰجِدِينَ

idh qalā yūsufu li-abīhi yā-abati innī raʾaytu aḥada ʿashara kawkaban wa-l-shamsa wa-l-qamara raʾaytuhum lī sājidīna

Behold! Joseph said to his father: "O my father! I did see eleven stars and the sun and the moon: I saw them prostrate themselves to me!"

Sura Yūsuf 12:30

وَقَالَ نِسْوَةٌ فِى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ ٱمْرَأَتُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ تُرَٰوِدُ فَتَىٰهَا عَن نَّفْسِهِۦ قَدْ شَغَفَهَا حُبًّا إِنَّا لَنَرَىٰهَا فِى ضَلَٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ

wa-qāla niswatun fī l-madīnati imraʾatu l-ʿazīzi turāwidu fatahā ʿan nafsihi qad shaghafahā ḥubban innā la-narāhā fī ḍalālin mubīnin

Ladies said in the City: "The wife of the (great) 'Aziz is seeking to seduce her slave from his (true) self: Truly hath he inspired her with violent love: we see she is evidently going astray."

Sura Yūsuf 12:36

وَدَخَلَ مَعَهُ ٱلسِّجْنَ فَتَيَانِ قَالَ أَحَدُهُمَآ إِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰنِىٓ أَعْصِرُ خَمْرًا وَقَالَ ٱلْأَخَرُ إِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰنِىٓ أَحْمِلُ فَوْقَ رَأْسِى خُبْزًا تَأْكُلُ ٱلطَّيْرُ مِنْهُ نَبِّئْنَا بِتَأْوِيلِهِۦٓ إِنَّا نَرَىٰكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

wa-dakhala maʿahu l-sijna fatayāni qalā aḥaduhumā innī aranī aʿṣiru khamran wa-qāla l-akharu innī aranī aḥmilu fawqa rasī khubzan taʾkulu l-ṭayru minhu nabbinā bi-taʾwīlihi innā naraka mina l-muḥsinīna

Now with him there came into the prison two young men. Said one of them: "I see myself (in a dream) pressing wine." said the other: "I see myself (in a dream) carrying bread on my head, and birds are eating, thereof." "Tell us" (they said) "The truth and meaning thereof: for we see thou art one that doth good (to all)."

Sura Yūsuf 12:43

وَقَالَ ٱلْمَلِكُ إِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰ سَبْعَ بَقَرَٰتٍ سِمَانٍ يَأْكُلُهُنَّ سَبْعٌ عِجَافٌ وَسَبْعَ سُنۢبُلَٰتٍ خُضْرٍ وَأُخَرَ يَابِسَٰتٍ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلَأُ أَفْتُونِى فِى رُءْيَٰىَ إِن كُنتُمْ لِلرُّءْيَا تَعْبُرُونَ

wa-qāla l-maliku innī ara sabʿa baqarātin simānin yaʾkuluhunna sabʿun ʿijāfun wa-sabʿa sunbulātin khuḍrin wa-ukhara yābisātin yā-ayyuhā l-malaʾu aftūnī fī ruʾyāya in kuntum lil-ruʾyā taʿburūna

The king (of Egypt) said: "I do see (in a vision) seven fat kine, whom seven lean ones devour, and seven green ears of corn, and seven (others) withered. O ye chiefs! Expound to me my vision if it be that ye can interpret visions."

Sura Yūsuf 12:78

قَالُوا۟ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْعَزِيزُ إِنَّ لَهُۥٓ أَبًا شَيْخًا كَبِيرًا فَخُذْ أَحَدَنَا مَكَانَهُۥٓ إِنَّا نَرَىٰكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

qālū yā-ayyuhā l-ʿazīzu inna lahu aban shaykhan kabīran fa-khudh aḥadanā makānahu innā naraka mina l-muḥsinīna

They said: "O exalted one! Behold! he has a father, aged and venerable, (who will grieve for him); so take one of us in his place; for we see that thou art (gracious) in doing good."

Sura al-Raʿd 13:40

وَإِن مَّا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعْضَ ٱلَّذِى نَعِدُهُمْ أَوْ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْبَلَٰغُ وَعَلَيْنَا ٱلْحِسَابُ

wa-in mā nuriyannaka baʿḍa alladhī naʿiduhum aw natawaffayannaka fa-innamā ʿalayka l-balāghu wa-ʿalaynā l-ḥisābu

Whether We shall show thee (within thy life-time) part of what we promised them or take to ourselves thy soul (before it is all accomplished),- thy duty is to make (the Message) reach them: it is our part to call them to account.

Sura al-Isrāʾ 17:1

سُبْحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَسْرَىٰ بِعَبْدِهِۦ لَيْلًا مِّنَ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ إِلَى ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْأَقْصَا ٱلَّذِى بَٰرَكْنَا حَوْلَهُۥ لِنُرِيَهُۥ مِنْ ءَايَٰتِنَآ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْبَصِيرُ

subḥāna alladhī asra biʿabdihi laylan mina l-masjidi l-ḥarāmi ilā l-masjidi l-aqṣā alladhī bāraknā ḥawlahu li-nuriyahu min āyātinā innahu huwa l-samīʿu l-baṣīru

Glory to (Allah) Who did take His servant for a Journey by night from the Sacred Mosque to the farthest Mosque, whose precincts We did bless,- in order that We might show him some of Our Signs: for He is the One Who heareth and seeth (all things).

Sura al-Isrāʾ 17:60

وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لَكَ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ أَحَاطَ بِٱلنَّاسِ وَمَا جَعَلْنَا ٱلرُّءْيَا ٱلَّتِىٓ أَرَيْنَٰكَ إِلَّا فِتْنَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَٱلشَّجَرَةَ ٱلْمَلْعُونَةَ فِى ٱلْقُرْءَانِ وَنُخَوِّفُهُمْ فَمَا يَزِيدُهُمْ إِلَّا طُغْيَٰنًا كَبِيرًا

wa-idh qulnā la-ka inna rabbaka aḥāṭa bil-nāsi wa-mā jaʿalnā l-ruʾyā allatī araynāka illā fitnatan lil-nāsi wa-l-shajarata l-malʿūnata fī l-qurʾāni wa-nukhawwifuhum fa-mā yazīduhum illā ṭughyānan kabīran

Behold! We told thee that thy Lord doth encompass mankind round about: We granted the vision which We showed thee, but as a trial for men,- as also the Cursed Tree (mentioned) in the Qur'an: We put terror (and warning) into them, but it only increases their inordinate transgression!

Sura Ṭā Hā 20:23

لِنُرِيَكَ مِنْ ءَايَٰتِنَا ٱلْكُبْرَى

li-nuriyaka min āyātinā l-kubrā

"In order that We may show thee (two) of our Greater Signs.

Sura Ṭā Hā 20:46

قَالَ لَا تَخَافَآ إِنَّنِى مَعَكُمَآ أَسْمَعُ وَأَرَىٰ

qalā lā takhāfā innanī maʿakumā asmaʿu wa-ara

He said: "Fear not: for I am with you: I hear and see (everything).

Sura Ṭā Hā 20:56

وَلَقَدْ أَرَيْنَٰهُ ءَايَٰتِنَا كُلَّهَا فَكَذَّبَ وَأَبَىٰ

wa-la-qad araynāhu āyātinā kullahā fa-kadhdhaba wa-aba

And We showed Pharaoh all Our Signs, but he did reject and refuse.

Sura al-Anbiyāʾ 21:37

خُلِقَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مِنْ عَجَلٍ سَأُو۟رِيكُمْ ءَايَٰتِى فَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلُونِ

khuliqa l-insānu min ʿajalin sa-ūrīkum āyātī fa-lā tastaʿjilūni

Man is a creature of haste: soon (enough) will I show you My Signs; then ye will not ask Me to hasten them!

Sura al-Muʾminūn 23:95

وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّرِيَكَ مَا نَعِدُهُمْ لَقَٰدِرُونَ

wa-innā ʿala an nuriyaka mā naʿiduhum la-qādirūna

And We are certainly able to show thee (in fulfilment) that against which they are warned.

Sura al-Furqān 25:21

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَآءَنَا لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ أَوْ نَرَىٰ رَبَّنَا لَقَدِ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَعَتَوْ عُتُوًّا كَبِيرًا

wa-qāla lladhīna lā yarjūna liqāʾanā lawlā unzila ʿalaynā l-malāʾikatu aw narā rabbanā laqadi istakbarū fī anfusihim wa-ʿataw ʿutūwan kabīran

Such as fear not the meeting with Us (for Judgment) say: "Why are not the angels sent down to us, or (why) do we not see our Lord?" Indeed they have an arrogant conceit of themselves, and mighty is the insolence of their impiety!

Sura al-Naml 27:20

وَتَفَقَّدَ ٱلطَّيْرَ فَقَالَ مَا لِىَ لَآ أَرَى ٱلْهُدْهُدَ أَمْ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْغَآئِبِينَ

wa-tafaqqada l-ṭayra fa-qāla mā liya lā ara l-hudhuda am kāna mina l-ghāʾibīna

And he took a muster of the Birds; and he said: "Why is it I see not the Hoopoe? Or is he among the absentees?

Sura al-Qaṣaṣ 28:6

وَنُمَكِّنَ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَنُرِىَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَهَٰمَٰنَ وَجُنُودَهُمَا مِنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَحْذَرُونَ

wa-numakkina lahum fī l-arḍi wa-nuriya firʿawna wa-hāmāna wa-junūdahumā minhum mā kānū yaḥdharūna

To establish a firm place for them in the land, and to show Pharaoh, Haman, and their hosts, at their hands, the very things against which they were taking precautions.

Sura al-Ṣaffāt 37:102

فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ ٱلسَّعْىَ قَالَ يَٰبُنَىَّ إِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰ فِى ٱلْمَنَامِ أَنِّىٓ أَذْبَحُكَ فَٱنظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَىٰ قَالَ يَٰٓأَبَتِ ٱفْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُ سَتَجِدُنِىٓ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّـهُ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ

fa-lammā balagha maʿahu l-saʿya qalā yā-bunayya innī ara fī l-manāmi annī adhbaḥuka fa-inẓur mādhā tara qalā yā-abati ifʿal mā tuʾmaru sa-tajidunī in shāʾa allāhu mina l-ṣābirīna

Then, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if Allah so wills one practising Patience and Constancy!"

Sura Ṣād 38:62

وَقَالُوا۟ مَا لَنَا لَا نَرَىٰ رِجَالًا كُنَّا نَعُدُّهُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَشْرَارِ

wa-qālū mā la-nā lā narā rijālan kunnā naʿudduhum mina l-ashrāri

And they will say: "What has happened to us that we see not men whom we used to number among the bad ones?

Sura al-Ghāfir 40:29

يَٰقَوْمِ لَكُمُ ٱلْمُلْكُ ٱلْيَوْمَ ظَٰهِرِينَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَمَن يَنصُرُنَا مِنۢ بَأْسِ ٱللَّـهِ إِن جَآءَنَا قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ مَآ أُرِيكُمْ إِلَّا مَآ أَرَىٰ وَمَآ أَهْدِيكُمْ إِلَّا سَبِيلَ ٱلرَّشَادِ

yā-qawmi lakumu l-mulku l-yawma ẓāhirīna fī l-arḍi fa-man yanṣurunā min basi allāhi in jāʾanā qalā firʿawun mā urīkum illā mā ara wa-mā ahdīkum illā sabīla l-rashādi

"O my People! Yours is the dominion this day: Ye have the upper hand in the land: but who will help us from the Punishment of Allah, should it befall us?" Pharaoh said: "I but point out to you that which I see (myself); Nor do I guide you but to the Path of Right!"

Sura al-Ghāfir 40:77

فَٱصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّـهِ حَقٌّ فَإِمَّا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعْضَ ٱلَّذِى نَعِدُهُمْ أَوْ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِلَيْنَا يُرْجَعُونَ

fa-iṣbir inna waʿda allāhi ḥaqqun fa-immā nuriyannaka baʿḍa alladhī naʿiduhum aw natawaffayannaka fa-ilaynā yurjaʿūna

So persevere in patience; for the Promise of Allah is true: and whether We show thee (in this life) some part of what We promise them,- or We take thy soul (to Our Mercy) (before that),-(in any case) it is to Us that they shall (all) return.

Sura Fuṣṣilat 41:53

سَنُرِيهِمْ ءَايَٰتِنَا فِى ٱلْأَفَاقِ وَفِىٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ حَتَّىٰ يَتَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُ ٱلْحَقُّ أَوَلَمْ يَكْفِ بِرَبِّكَ أَنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ شَهِيدٌ

sa-nurīhim āyātinā fī l-afāqi wa-fī anfusihim ḥattā yatabayyana lahum annahu l-ḥaqqu a-wa-lam yakfi bi-rabbika annahu ʿalā kulli shayʾin shahīdun

Soon will We show them our Signs in the (furthest) regions (of the earth), and in their own souls, until it becomes manifest to them that this is the Truth. Is it not enough that thy Lord doth witness all things?

Sura al-Zukhruf 43:42

أَوْ نُرِيَنَّكَ ٱلَّذِى وَعَدْنَٰهُمْ فَإِنَّا عَلَيْهِم مُّقْتَدِرُونَ

aw nuriyannaka alladhī waʿadnāhum fa-innā ʿalayhim muqtadirūna

Or We shall show thee that (accomplished) which We have promised them: for verily We shall prevail over them.

Sura al-Zukhruf 43:48

وَمَا نُرِيهِم مِّنْ ءَايَةٍ إِلَّا هِىَ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ أُخْتِهَا وَأَخَذْنَٰهُم بِٱلْعَذَابِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ

wa-mā nurīhim min āyatin illā hiya akbaru min ukhtihā wa-akhadhnāhum bil-ʿadhābi la-ʿallahum yarjiʿūna

We showed them Sign after Sign, each greater than its fellow, and We seized them with Punishment, in order that they might turn (to Us).

Sura al-Aḥqāf 46:23

قَالَ إِنَّمَا ٱلْعِلْمُ عِندَ ٱللَّـهِ وَأُبَلِّغُكُم مَّآ أُرْسِلْتُ بِهِۦ وَلَٰكِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰكُمْ قَوْمًا تَجْهَلُونَ

qalā innamā l-ʿilmu ʿinda allāhi wa-uballighukum mā ursiltu bihi wa-lākinnī arākum qawman tajhalūna

He said: "The Knowledge (of when it will come) is only with Allah: I proclaim to you the mission on which I have been sent: But I see that ye are a people in ignorance!"..

Sura Muḥammad 47:30

وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَأَرَيْنَٰكَهُمْ فَلَعَرَفْتَهُم بِسِيمَٰهُمْ وَلَتَعْرِفَنَّهُمْ فِى لَحْنِ ٱلْقَوْلِ وَٱللَّـهُ يَعْلَمُ أَعْمَٰلَكُمْ

wa-law nashāʾu la-araynākahum fa-la-ʿaraftahum bi-sīmāhum wa-la-taʿrifannahum fī laḥni l-qawli wallāhu yaʿlamu aʿmālakum

Had We so wiled, We could have shown them up to thee, and thou shouldst have known them by their marks: but surely thou wilt know them by the tone of their speech! And Allah knows all that ye do.

Sura al-Maʿārij 70:7

وَنَرَىٰهُ قَرِيبًا

wa-narāhu qarīban

But We see it (quite) near.
