Surah 2 al-Baqara (The Cow)
RefArabic    TransliterationTranslation
(2:126)

وَإِذْ  قَالَ  إِبْرَٰهِـۧمُ  رَبِّ  ٱجْعَلْ  هَٰذَا  بَلَدًا  ءَامِنًا  وَٱرْزُقْ  أَهْلَهُۥ  مِنَ  ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ  مَنْ  ءَامَنَ  مِنْهُم  بِٱللَّـهِ  وَٱلْيَوْمِ  ٱلْأَخِرِ  قَالَ  وَمَن  كَفَرَ  فَأُمَتِّعُهُۥ  قَلِيلًا  ثُمَّ  أَضْطَرُّهُۥٓ  إِلَىٰ  عَذَابِ  ٱلنَّارِ  وَبِئْسَ  ٱلْمَصِيرُ wa‑idh qalā ibrāhīmu rabbi ajʿal hādhā baladan āminan wa‑arzuq ahlahu mina l‑thamarāti man āmana minhum billāhi wa‑l‑yawmi l‑akhiri qalā wa‑man kafara fa‑umattiʿuhu qalīlan thumma aḍṭarruhu ilā ʿadhābi l‑nāri wa‑biʾsa l‑maṣīru
And remember Abraham said: "My Lord, make this a City of Peace, and feed its people with fruits,-such of them as believe in Allah and the Last Day." He said: "(Yea), and such as reject Faith,-for a while will I grant them their pleasure, but will soon drive them to the torment of Fire,- an evil destination (indeed)!"
(2:212)

زُيِّنَ  لِلَّذِينَ  كَفَرُوا۟  ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ  ٱلدُّنْيَا  وَيَسْخَرُونَ  مِنَ  ٱلَّذِينَ  ءَامَنُوا۟  وَٱلَّذِينَ  ٱتَّقَوْا۟  فَوْقَهُمْ  يَوْمَ  ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ  وَٱللَّـهُ  يَرْزُقُ  مَن  يَشَآءُ  بِغَيْرِ  حِسَابٍ zuyyina li‑lladhīna kafarū l‑ḥayātu l‑dunyā wa‑yaskharūna mina lladhīna āmanū wa‑lladhīna ittaqaw fawqahum yawma l‑qiyāmati wallāhu yarzuqu man yashāʾu bi‑ghayri ḥisābin
The life of this world is alluring to those who reject faith, and they scoff at those who believe. But the righteous will be above them on the Day of Resurrection; for Allah bestows His abundance without measure on whom He will.

Surah 3 Āl-ʿImrān (The Family of Imran)

تُولِجُ  ٱلَّيْلَ  فِى  ٱلنَّهَارِ  وَتُولِجُ  ٱلنَّهَارَ  فِى  ٱلَّيْلِ  وَتُخْرِجُ  ٱلْحَىَّ  مِنَ  ٱلْمَيِّتِ  وَتُخْرِجُ  ٱلْمَيِّتَ  مِنَ  ٱلْحَىِّ  وَتَرْزُقُ  مَن  تَشَآءُ  بِغَيْرِ  حِسَابٍ tūliju l‑layla l‑nahāri wa‑tūliju l‑nahāra l‑layli wa‑tukhriju l‑ḥayya mina l‑mayyiti wa‑tukhriju l‑mayyita mina l‑ḥayyi wa‑tarzuqu man tashāʾu bi‑ghayri ḥisābin
"Thou causest the night to gain on the day, and thou causest the day to gain on the night; Thou bringest the Living out of the dead, and Thou bringest the dead out of the Living; and Thou givest sustenance to whom Thou pleasest, without measure."
(3:37)

فَتَقَبَّلَهَا  رَبُّهَا  بِقَبُولٍ  حَسَنٍ  وَأَنۢبَتَهَا  نَبَاتًا  حَسَنًا  وَكَفَّلَهَا  زَكَرِيَّا  كُلَّمَا  دَخَلَ  عَلَيْهَا  زَكَرِيَّا  ٱلْمِحْرَابَ  وَجَدَ  عِندَهَا  رِزْقًا  قَالَ  يَٰمَرْيَمُ  أَنَّىٰ  لَكِ  هَٰذَا  قَالَتْ  هُوَ  مِنْ  عِندِ  ٱللَّـهِ  إِنَّ  ٱللَّـهَ  يَرْزُقُ  مَن  يَشَآءُ  بِغَيْرِ  حِسَابٍ fa‑taqabbalahā rabbuhā bi‑qabūlin ḥasanin wa‑anbatahā nabātan ḥasanan wa‑kaffalahā zakariyyā kullamā dakhala ʿalayhā zakariyyā l‑miḥrāba wajada ʿindahā rizqan qalā yā‑maryamu annā laki hādhā qālat huwa min ʿindi allāhi inna allāha yarzuqu man yashāʾu bi‑ghayri ḥisābin
Right graciously did her Lord accept her: He made her grow in purity and beauty: To the care of Zakariya was she assigned. Every time that he entered (Her) chamber to see her, He found her supplied with sustenance. He said: "O Mary! Whence (comes) this to you?" She said: "From Allah: for Allah Provides sustenance to whom He pleases without measure."

Said Jesus the son of Mary: "O Allah our Lord! Send us from heaven a table set (with viands), that there may be for us - for the first and the last of us - a solemn festival and a sign from thee; and provide for our sustenance, for thou art the best Sustainer (of our needs)."

Lost are those who slay their children, from folly, without knowledge, and forbid food which Allah hath provided for them, inventing (lies) against Allah. They have indeed gone astray and heeded no guidance.
(6:142)

وَمِنَ  ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ  حَمُولَةً  وَفَرْشًا  كُلُوا۟  مِمَّا  رَزَقَكُمُ  ٱللَّـهُ  وَلَا  تَتَّبِعُوا۟  خُطُوَٰتِ  ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ  إِنَّهُۥ  لَكُمْ  عَدُوٌّ  مُّبِينٌ wa‑mina l‑anʿāmi ḥamūlatan wa‑farshan kulū mimmā razaqakumu allāhu wa‑lā tattabiʿū khuṭuwāti l‑shayṭāni innahu la‑kum ʿaduwwun mubīnun

قُلْ  مَن  يَرْزُقُكُم  مِّنَ  ٱلسَّمَآءِ  وَٱلْأَرْضِ  أَمَّن  يَمْلِكُ  ٱلسَّمْعَ  وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرَ  وَمَن  يُخْرِجُ  ٱلْحَىَّ  مِنَ  ٱلْمَيِّتِ  وَيُخْرِجُ  ٱلْمَيِّتَ  مِنَ  ٱلْحَىِّ  وَمَن  يُدَبِّرُ  ٱلْأَمْرَ  فَسَيَقُولُونَ  ٱللَّـهُ  فَقُلْ  أَفَلَا  تَتَّقُونَ qul man yarzuqukum mina l‑samāʾi wa‑l‑arḍi a‑man yamliku l‑samʿa wa‑l‑abṣāra wa‑man yukhriju l‑ḥayya mina l‑mayyiti wa‑yukhriju l‑mayyita mina l‑ḥayyi wa‑man yudabbiru l‑amra fa‑sa‑yaqūlūna allāhu fa‑qul a‑fa‑lā tattaqūna
Say: "Who is it that sustains you (in life) from the sky and from the earth? or who is it that has power over hearing and sight? And who is it that brings out the living from the dead and the dead from the living? and who is it that rules and regulates all affairs?" They will soon say, "Allah". Say, "will ye not then show piety (to Him)?"

He said: "O my people! see ye whether I have a Clear (Sign) from my Lord, and He hath given me sustenance (pure and) good as from Himself? I wish not, in opposition to you, to do that which I forbid you to do. I only desire (your) betterment to the best of my power; and my success (in my task) can only come from Allah. In Him I trust, and unto Him I look.

Surah 14 Ibrāhīm (Abraham)
(14:37)

رَّبَّنَآ  إِنِّىٓ  أَسْكَنتُ  مِن  ذُرِّيَّتِى  بِوَادٍ  غَيْرِ  ذِى  زَرْعٍ  عِندَ  بَيْتِكَ  ٱلْمُحَرَّمِ  رَبَّنَا  لِيُقِيمُوا۟  ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ  فَٱجْعَلْ  أَفْـِٔدَةً  مِّنَ  ٱلنَّاسِ  تَهْوِىٓ  إِلَيْهِمْ  وَٱرْزُقْهُم  مِّنَ  ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ  لَعَلَّهُمْ  يَشْكُرُونَ rabbanā innī askantu min dhurriyyatī biwādin ghayri dhī zarʿin ʿinda baytika l‑muḥarrami rabbanā li‑yuqīmū l‑ṣalāta fa‑ijʿal afʾidatan mina l‑nāsi tahwī ilayhim wa‑irzuqhum mina l‑thamarāti la‑ʿallahum yashkurūna

وَٱللَّـهُ  جَعَلَ  لَكُم  مِّنْ  أَنفُسِكُمْ  أَزْوَٰجًا  وَجَعَلَ  لَكُم  مِّنْ  أَزْوَٰجِكُم  بَنِينَ  وَحَفَدَةً  وَرَزَقَكُم  مِّنَ  ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ  أَفَبِٱلْبَٰطِلِ  يُؤْمِنُونَ  وَبِنِعْمَتِ  ٱللَّـهِ  هُمْ  يَكْفُرُونَ wallāhu jaʿala la‑kum min anfusikum azwājan wa‑jaʿala la‑kum min azwājikum banīna wa‑ḥafadatan wa‑razaqakum mina l‑ṭayyibāti a‑fa‑bil‑bāṭili yuʾminūna wa‑biniʿmati allāhi hum yakfurūna
And Allah has made for you mates (and companions) of your own nature, and made for you, out of them, sons and daughters and grandchildren, and provided for you sustenance of the best: will they then believe in vain things, and be ungrateful for Allah's favours?-
(16:114)

فَكُلُوا۟  مِمَّا  رَزَقَكُمُ  ٱللَّـهُ  حَلَٰلًا  طَيِّبًا  وَٱشْكُرُوا۟  نِعْمَتَ  ٱللَّـهِ  إِن  كُنتُمْ  إِيَّاهُ  تَعْبُدُونَ fa‑kulū mimmā razaqakumu allāhu ḥalālan ṭayyiban wa‑ishkurū niʿmata allāhi in kuntum iyyāhu taʿbudūna

(22:34)

وَلِكُلِّ  أُمَّةٍ  جَعَلْنَا  مَنسَكًا  لِّيَذْكُرُوا۟  ٱسْمَ  ٱللَّـهِ  عَلَىٰ  مَا  رَزَقَهُم  مِّنۢ  بَهِيمَةِ  ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ  فَإِلَٰهُكُمْ  إِلَٰهٌ  وَٰحِدٌ  فَلَهُۥٓ  أَسْلِمُوا۟  وَبَشِّرِ  ٱلْمُخْبِتِينَ wa‑likulli ummatin jaʿalnā mansakan li‑yadhkurū isma allāhi ʿalā razaqahum min bahīmati l‑anʿāmi fa‑ilāhukum ilāhun wāḥidun falahu aslimū wa‑bashshiri l‑mukhbitīna
To every people did We appoint rites (of sacrifice), that they might celebrate the name of Allah over the sustenance He gave them from animals (fit for food). But your god is One God: submit then your wills to Him (in Islam): and give thou the good news to those who humble themselves,-
(22:58)

That Allah may reward them according to the best of their deeds, and add even more for them out of His Grace: for Allah doth provide for those whom He will, without measure.

Surah 27 al-Naml (The Ant)
(27:64)

أَمَّن  يَبْدَؤُا۟  ٱلْخَلْقَ  ثُمَّ  يُعِيدُهُۥ  وَمَن  يَرْزُقُكُم  مِّنَ  ٱلسَّمَآءِ  وَٱلْأَرْضِ  أَءِلَٰهٌ  مَّعَ  ٱللَّـهِ  قُلْ  هَاتُوا۟  بُرْهَٰنَكُمْ  إِن  كُنتُمْ  صَٰدِقِينَ a‑man yabdaʾu l‑khalqa thumma yuʿīduhu wa‑man yarzuqukum mina l‑samāʾi wa‑l‑arḍi a‑ilāhun maʿa allāhi qul hātū burhānakum in kuntum ṣādiqīna

Surah 29 al-ʿAnkabūt (The Spider)
(29:60)

How many are the creatures that carry not their own sustenance? It is Allah who feeds (both) them and you: for He hears and knows (all things).

Surah 30 al-Rūm (The Romans)
(30:40)

ٱللَّـهُ  ٱلَّذِى  خَلَقَكُمْ  ثُمَّ  رَزَقَكُمْ  ثُمَّ  يُمِيتُكُمْ  ثُمَّ  يُحْيِيكُمْ  هَلْ  مِن  شُرَكَآئِكُم  مَّن  يَفْعَلُ  مِن  ذَٰلِكُم  مِّن  شَىْءٍ  سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ  وَتَعَٰلَىٰ  عَمَّا  يُشْرِكُونَ allāhu alladhī khalaqakum thumma razaqakum thumma yumītukum thumma yuḥyīkum hal min shurakāʾikum man yafʿalu min dhālikum min shayʾin subḥānahu wa‑taʿāla ʿammā yushrikūna
It is Allah Who has created you: further, He has provided for your sustenance; then He will cause you to die; and again He will give you life. Are there any of your (false) "Partners" who can do any single one of these things? Glory to Him! and high is He above the partners they attribute (to him)!

Surah 34 Sabaʾ (Sheba)

قُلْ  مَن  يَرْزُقُكُم  مِّنَ  ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ  وَٱلْأَرْضِ  قُلِ  ٱللَّـهُ  وَإِنَّآ  أَوْ  إِيَّاكُمْ  لَعَلَىٰ  هُدًى  أَوْ  فِى  ضَلَٰلٍ  مُّبِينٍ qul man yarzuqukum mina l‑samāwāti wa‑l‑arḍi quli allāhu wa‑innā aw iyyakum laʿala hudan aw ḍalālin mubīnin
Say: "Who gives you sustenance, from the heavens and the earth?" Say: "It is Allah; and certain it is that either we or ye are on right guidance or in manifest error!"

Surah 35 al-Faṭīr (The Creator)

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا  ٱلنَّاسُ  ٱذْكُرُوا۟  نِعْمَتَ  ٱللَّـهِ  عَلَيْكُمْ  هَلْ  مِنْ  خَٰلِقٍ  غَيْرُ  ٱللَّـهِ  يَرْزُقُكُم  مِّنَ  ٱلسَّمَآءِ  وَٱلْأَرْضِ  لَآ  إِلَٰهَ  إِلَّا  هُوَ  فَأَنَّىٰ  تُؤْفَكُونَ yā‑ayyuhā l‑nāsu idhkurū niʿmata allāhi ʿalaykum hal min khāliqin ghayru allāhi yarzuqukum mina l‑samāʾi wa‑l‑arḍi ilāha illā huwa fa‑annā tuʾfakūna
O men! Call to mind the grace of Allah unto you! is there a creator, other than Allah, to give you sustenance from heaven or earth? There is no god but He: how then are ye deluded away from the Truth?

(36:47)

وَإِذَا  قِيلَ  لَهُمْ  أَنفِقُوا۟  مِمَّا  رَزَقَكُمُ  ٱللَّـهُ  قَالَ  ٱلَّذِينَ  كَفَرُوا۟  لِلَّذِينَ  ءَامَنُوٓا۟  أَنُطْعِمُ  مَن  لَّوْ  يَشَآءُ  ٱللَّـهُ  أَطْعَمَهُۥٓ  إِنْ  أَنتُمْ  إِلَّا  فِى  ضَلَٰلٍ  مُّبِينٍ wa‑idhā qīla lahum anfiqū mimmā razaqakumu allāhu qalā lladhīna kafarū li‑lladhīna āmanū a‑nuṭʿimu man law yashāʾu allāhu aṭʿamahu in antum illā ḍalālin mubīnin
And when they are told, "Spend ye of (the bounties) with which Allah has provided you," the Unbelievers say to those who believe: "Shall we then feed those whom, if Allah had so willed, He would have fed, (Himself)?- Ye are in nothing but manifest error."

Surah 40 al-Ghāfir (The Forgiving One)
(40:64)

ٱللَّـهُ  ٱلَّذِى  جَعَلَ  لَكُمُ  ٱلْأَرْضَ  قَرَارًا  وَٱلسَّمَآءَ  بِنَآءً  وَصَوَّرَكُمْ  فَأَحْسَنَ  صُوَرَكُمْ  وَرَزَقَكُم  مِّنَ  ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ  ذَٰلِكُمُ  ٱللَّـهُ  رَبُّكُمْ  فَتَبَارَكَ  ٱللَّـهُ  رَبُّ  ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ allāhu alladhī jaʿala lakumu l‑arḍa qarāran wa‑l‑samāʾa bināʾan wa‑ṣawwarakum fa‑aḥsana ṣuwarakum wa‑razaqakum mina l‑ṭayyibāti dhālikumu allāhu rabbukum fa‑tabāraka allāhu rabbu l‑ʿālamīna
It is Allah Who has made for you the earth as a resting place, and the sky as a canopy, and has given you shape- and made your shapes beautiful,- and has provided for you Sustenance, of things pure and good;- such is Allah your Lord. So Glory to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds!

Surah 42 al-Shūrā (The Counsel)
(42:19)

ٱللَّـهُ  لَطِيفٌۢ  بِعِبَادِهِۦ  يَرْزُقُ  مَن  يَشَآءُ  وَهُوَ  ٱلْقَوِىُّ  ٱلْعَزِيزُ allāhu laṭīfun bi‑ʿabādihi yarzuqu man yashāʾu wa‑huwa l‑qawiyyu l‑ʿazīzu
Gracious is Allah to His servants: He gives Sustenance to whom He pleases: and He has power and can carry out His Will.

Surah 65 al-Ṭalāq (The Divorce)
(65:3)

وَيَرْزُقْهُ  مِنْ  حَيْثُ  لَا  يَحْتَسِبُ  وَمَن  يَتَوَكَّلْ  عَلَى  ٱللَّـهِ  فَهُوَ  حَسْبُهُۥٓ  إِنَّ  ٱللَّـهَ  بَٰلِغُ  أَمْرِهِۦ  قَدْ  جَعَلَ  ٱللَّـهُ  لِكُلِّ  شَىْءٍ  قَدْرًا wa‑yarzuqhu min ḥaythu yaḥtasibu wa‑man yatawakkal ʿalā allāhi fa‑huwa ḥasbuhu inna allāha bālighu amrihi qad jaʿala allāhu li‑kulli shayʾin qadran
And He provides for him from (sources) he never could imagine. And if any one puts his trust in Allah, sufficient is (Allah) for him. For Allah will surely accomplish his purpose: verily, for all things has Allah appointed a due proportion.

Surah 67 al-Mulk (The Kingdom)
(67:21)

أَمَّنْ  هَٰذَا  ٱلَّذِى  يَرْزُقُكُمْ  إِنْ  أَمْسَكَ  رِزْقَهُۥ  بَل  لَّجُّوا۟  فِى  عُتُوٍّ  وَنُفُورٍ a‑man hādhā alladhī yarzuqukum in amsaka rizqahu bal lajjū ʿutuwwin wa‑nufūrin
Or who is there that can provide you with Sustenance if He were to withhold His provision? Nay, they obstinately persist in insolent impiety and flight (from the Truth).
