Surah 7 al-Aʿrāf (The Heights)

(7:116)    | قَالَ أَلْقُوا۟ فَلَمَّآ أَلْقَوْا۟ سَحَرُوٓا۟ أَعْيُنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَٱسْتَرْهَبُوهُمْ وَجَآءُو بِسِحْرٍ عَظِيمٍ | qalā alqū fa‑lammā alqaw saḥarū aʿyuna l‑nāsi wa‑istarhabūhum wa‑jāʾū bi‑siḥrin ʿaẓīmin | Said Moses: "Throw ye (first)." So when they threw, they
bewitched the eyes of the people, and struck terror into them: for they
showed a great (feat of) magic.
Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:116 قَالَ أَلْقُوا۟ فَلَمَّآ أَلْقَوْا۟ سَحَرُوٓا۟ أَعْيُنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَٱسْتَرْهَبُوهُمْ وَجَآءُو بِسِحْرٍ عَظِيمٍ qalā alqū fa-lammā alqaw saḥarū aʿyuna l-nāsi wa-istarhabūhum wa-jāʾū bi-siḥrin ʿaẓīmin Said Moses: "Throw ye (first)."
