Sura Yūsuf 12:23

وَرَٰوَدَتْهُ ٱلَّتِى هُوَ فِى بَيْتِهَا عَن نَّفْسِهِۦ وَغَلَّقَتِ ٱلْأَبْوَٰبَ وَقَالَتْ هَيْتَ لَكَ قَالَ مَعَاذَ ٱللَّـهِ إِنَّهُۥ رَبِّىٓ أَحْسَنَ مَثْوَاىَ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُفْلِحُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ

wa-rāwadathu allatī huwa fī baytihā ʿan nafsihi wa-ghallaqati l-abwāba wa-qālat hayta la-ka qalā maʿādha allāhi innahu rabbī aḥsana mathwāya innahu lā yufliḥu l-ẓālimūna

But she in whose house he was, sought to seduce him from his (true) self: she fastened the doors, and said: "Now come, thou (dear one)!" He said: "Allah forbid! truly (thy husband) is my lord! he made my sojourn agreeable! truly to no good come those who do wrong!"

Sura Yūsuf 12:26

قَالَ هِىَ رَٰوَدَتْنِى عَن نَّفْسِى وَشَهِدَ شَاهِدٌ مِّنْ أَهْلِهَآ إِن كَانَ قَمِيصُهُۥ قُدَّ مِن قُبُلٍ فَصَدَقَتْ وَهُوَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ

qalā hiya rāwadatnī ʿan nnafsī wa-shahida shāhidun min ahlihā in kāna qamīṣuhu qudda min qubulin fa-ṣadaqat wa-huwa mina l-kādhibīna

He said: "It was she that sought to seduce me - from my (true) self." And one of her household saw (this) and bore witness, (thus):- "If it be that his shirt is rent from the front, then is her tale true, and he is a liar!

Sura Yūsuf 12:30

وَقَالَ نِسْوَةٌ فِى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ ٱمْرَأَتُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ تُرَٰوِدُ فَتَىٰهَا عَن نَّفْسِهِۦ قَدْ شَغَفَهَا حُبًّا إِنَّا لَنَرَىٰهَا فِى ضَلَٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ

wa-qāla niswatun fī l-madīnati imraʾatu l-ʿazīzi turāwidu fatahā ʿan nafsihi qad shaghafahā ḥubban innā la-narāhā fī ḍalālin mubīnin

Ladies said in the City: "The wife of the (great) 'Aziz is seeking to seduce her slave from his (true) self: Truly hath he inspired her with violent love: we see she is evidently going astray."

Sura Yūsuf 12:51

قَالَ مَا خَطْبُكُنَّ إِذْ رَٰوَدتُّنَّ يُوسُفَ عَن نَّفْسِهِۦ قُلْنَ حَٰشَ لِلَّـهِ مَا عَلِمْنَا عَلَيْهِ مِن سُوٓءٍ قَالَتِ ٱمْرَأَتُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْـَٰٔنَ حَصْحَصَ ٱلْحَقُّ أَنَا۠ رَٰوَدتُّهُۥ عَن نَّفْسِهِۦ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَمِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

qalā mā khaṭbukunna idh rāwadttunna yūsufa ʿan nafsihi qulna ḥāsha lillāhi mā ʿalimnā ʿalayhi min sūʾin qālati imraʾatu l-ʿazīzi l-ana ḥaṣḥaṣa l-ḥaqqu anā rāwadttuhu ʿan nafsihi wa-innahu la-mina l-ṣādiqīna

(The king) said (to the ladies): "What was your affair when ye did seek to seduce Joseph from his (true) self?" The ladies said: "Allah preserve us! no evil know we against him!" Said the 'Aziz's wife: "Now is the truth manifest (to all): it was I who sought to seduce him from his (true) self: He is indeed of those who are (ever) true (and virtuous).

Sura al-Nūr 24:33

وَلْيَسْتَعْفِفِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَجِدُونَ نِكَاحًا حَتَّىٰ يُغْنِيَهُمُ ٱللَّـهُ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ وَٱلَّذِينَ يَبْتَغُونَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ مِمَّا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَٰنُكُمْ فَكَاتِبُوهُمْ إِنْ عَلِمْتُمْ فِيهِمْ خَيْرًا وَءَاتُوهُم مِّن مَّالِ ٱللَّـهِ ٱلَّذِىٓ ءَاتَىٰكُمْ وَلَا تُكْرِهُوا۟ فَتَيَٰتِكُمْ عَلَى ٱلْبِغَآءِ إِنْ أَرَدْنَ تَحَصُّنًا لِّتَبْتَغُوا۟ عَرَضَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَمَن يُكْرِههُّنَّ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ إِكْرَٰهِهِنَّ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

wa-l-yastaʿfifi lladhīna lā yajidūna nikāḥan ḥattā yughniyahumu allāhu min faḍlihi wa-lladhīna yabtaghūna l-kitāba mimmā malakat aymānukum fa-kātibūhum in ʿalimtum fīhim khayran wa-ātūhum min māli allāhi alladhī ātakum wa-lā tukrihū fatayātikum ʿalā l-bighāʾi in aradna taḥaṣṣunan li-tabtaghū ʿaraḍa l-ḥayāti l-dunyā wa-man yukrihhhunna fa-inna allāha min baʿdi ikrāhihinna ghafūrun raḥīmun

Let those who find not the wherewithal for marriage keep themselves chaste, until Allah gives them means out of His grace. And if any of your slaves ask for a deed in writing (to enable them to earn their freedom for a certain sum), give them such a deed if ye know any good in them: yea, give them something yourselves out of the means which Allah has given to you. But force not your maids to prostitution when they desire chastity, in order that ye may make a gain in the goods of this life. But if anyone compels them, yet, after such compulsion, is Allah, Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful (to them),

Sura al-Aḥzāb 33:28

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ قُل لِّأَزْوَٰجِكَ إِن كُنتُنَّ تُرِدْنَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَزِينَتَهَا فَتَعَالَيْنَ أُمَتِّعْكُنَّ وَأُسَرِّحْكُنَّ سَرَاحًا جَمِيلًا

yā-ayyuhā l-nabiyyu qul li-azwājika in kuntunna turidna l-ḥayāta l-dunyā wa-zīnatahā fa-taʿālayna umattiʿkunna wa-usarriḥkunna sarāḥan jamīlan

O Prophet! Say to thy Consorts: "If it be that ye desire the life of this World, and its glitter,- then come! I will provide for your enjoyment and set you free in a handsome manner.

Sura al-Aḥzāb 33:29

وَإِن كُنتُنَّ تُرِدْنَ ٱللَّـهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَٱلدَّارَ ٱلْأَخِرَةَ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ أَعَدَّ لِلْمُحْسِنَٰتِ مِنكُنَّ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا

wa-in kuntunna turidna allāha wa-rasūlahu wa-l-dāra l-akhirata fa-inna allāha aʿadda lil-muḥsināti minkunna ajran ʿaẓīman

But if ye seek Allah and His Messenger, and the Home of the Hereafter, verily Allah has prepared for the well-doers amongst you a great reward.
