Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:8

رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْوَهَّابُ

rabbanā lā tuzigh qulūbanā baʿda idh hadaytanā wa-hab la-nā min ladunka raḥmatan innaka anta l-wahhābu

"Our Lord!" (they say), "Let not our hearts deviate now after Thou hast guided us, but grant us mercy from Thine own Presence; for Thou art the Grantor of bounties without measure.

Sura al-Tawbah 9:117

لَّقَد تَّابَ ٱللَّـهُ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّ وَٱلْمُهَٰجِرِينَ وَٱلْأَنصَارِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوهُ فِى سَاعَةِ ٱلْعُسْرَةِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا كَادَ يَزِيغُ قُلُوبُ فَرِيقٍ مِّنْهُمْ ثُمَّ تَابَ عَلَيْهِمْ إِنَّهُۥ بِهِمْ رَءُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ

la-qad tāba allāhu ʿalā l-nabiyyi wa-l-muhājirīna wa-l-anṣāri lladhīna ittabaʿūhu fī sāʿati l-ʿusrati min baʿdi mā kāda yazīghu qulūbu farīqin minhum thumma tāba ʿalayhim innahu bihim raʾūfun raḥīmun

Allah turned with favour to the Prophet, the Muhajirs, and the Ansar,- who followed him in a time of distress, after that the hearts of a part of them had nearly swerved (from duty); but He turned to them (also): for He is unto them Most Kind, Most Merciful.

Sura al-Aḥzāb 33:10

إِذْ جَآءُوكُم مِّن فَوْقِكُمْ وَمِنْ أَسْفَلَ مِنكُمْ وَإِذْ زَاغَتِ ٱلْأَبْصَٰرُ وَبَلَغَتِ ٱلْقُلُوبُ ٱلْحَنَاجِرَ وَتَظُنُّونَ بِٱللَّـهِ ٱلظُّنُونَا۠

idh jāʾūkum min fawqikum wa-min asfala minkum wa-idh zāghati l-abṣāru wa-balaghati l-qulūbu l-ḥanājira wa-taẓunnūna billāhi al-ẓunūnā

Behold! they came on you from above you and from below you, and behold, the eyes became dim and the hearts gaped up to the throats, and ye imagined various (vain) thoughts about Allah!

Sura Sabaʾ 34:12

وَلِسُلَيْمَٰنَ ٱلرِّيحَ غُدُوُّهَا شَهْرٌ وَرَوَاحُهَا شَهْرٌ وَأَسَلْنَا لَهُۥ عَيْنَ ٱلْقِطْرِ وَمِنَ ٱلْجِنِّ مَن يَعْمَلُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِۦ وَمَن يَزِغْ مِنْهُمْ عَنْ أَمْرِنَا نُذِقْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ

wa-li-sulaymāna l-rīḥa ghuduwwuhā shahrun wa-rawāḥuhā shahrun wa-asalnā lahu ʿayna l-qiṭri wa-mina l-jinni man yaʿmalu bayna yadayhi bi-idhni rabbihi wa-man yazigh minhum ʿan amrinā nudhiqhu min ʿadhābi l-saʿīri

And to Solomon (We made) the Wind (obedient): Its early morning (stride) was a month's (journey), and its evening (stride) was a month's (journey); and We made a Font of molten brass to flow for him; and there were Jinns that worked in front of him, by the leave of his Lord, and if any of them turned aside from our command, We made him taste of the Penalty of the Blazing Fire.

Sura Ṣād 38:63

أَتَّخَذْنَٰهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا أَمْ زَاغَتْ عَنْهُمُ ٱلْأَبْصَٰرُ

attakhadhnāhum sikhriyyan am zāghat ʿanhumu l-abṣāru

"Did we treat them (as such) in ridicule, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?"

Sura al-Najm 53:17

مَا زَاغَ ٱلْبَصَرُ وَمَا طَغَىٰ

mā zāgha l-baṣaru wa-mā ṭaghā

(His) sight never swerved, nor did it go wrong!

Sura al-Ṣaff 61:5

وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِۦ يَٰقَوْمِ لِمَ تُؤْذُونَنِى وَقَد تَّعْلَمُونَ أَنِّى رَسُولُ ٱللَّـهِ إِلَيْكُمْ فَلَمَّا زَاغُوٓا۟ أَزَاغَ ٱللَّـهُ قُلُوبَهُمْ وَٱللَّـهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ

wa-idh qalā mūsā li-qawmihi yā-qawmi lima tudhūnanī waqad taʿlamūna annī rasūlu allāhi ilaykum fa-lammā zāghū azāgha allāhu qulūbahum wallāhu lā yahdī l-qawma l-fāsiqīna

And remember, Moses said to his people: "O my people! why do ye vex and insult me, though ye know that I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you?" Then when they went wrong, Allah let their hearts go wrong. For Allah guides not those who are rebellious transgressors.
