Sura al-Baqara 2:60

وَإِذِ ٱسْتَسْقَىٰ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِۦ فَقُلْنَا ٱضْرِب بِّعَصَاكَ ٱلْحَجَرَ فَٱنفَجَرَتْ مِنْهُ ٱثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ عَيْنًا قَدْ عَلِمَ كُلُّ أُنَاسٍ مَّشْرَبَهُمْ كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ مِن رِّزْقِ ٱللَّـهِ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ

wa-idhi astasqa mūsā li-qawmihi fa-qulnā iḍrib biʿaṣāka l-ḥajara fa-infajarat minhu athnatā ʿashrata ʿaynan qad ʿalima kullu unāsin mashrabahum kulū wa-ishrabū min rizqi allāhi wa-lā taʿthaw fī l-arḍi mufsidīna

And remember Moses prayed for water for his people; We said: "Strike the rock with thy staff." Then gushed forth therefrom twelve springs. Each group knew its own place for water. So eat and drink of the sustenance provided by Allah, and do no evil nor mischief on the (face of the) earth.

Sura al-Baqara 2:71

قَالَ إِنَّهُۥ يَقُولُ إِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌ لَّا ذَلُولٌ تُثِيرُ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَلَا تَسْقِى ٱلْحَرْثَ مُسَلَّمَةٌ لَّا شِيَةَ فِيهَا قَالُوا۟ ٱلْـَٰٔنَ جِئْتَ بِٱلْحَقِّ فَذَبَحُوهَا وَمَا كَادُوا۟ يَفْعَلُونَ

qalā innahu yaqūlu innahā baqaratun lā dhalūlun tuthīru l-arḍa wa-lā tasqī l-ḥartha musallamatun lā shiyata fīhā qālū l-ana jiʾta bil-ḥaqqi fa-dhabaḥūhā wa-mā kādū yafʿalūna

He said: "He says: A heifer not trained to till the soil or water the fields; sound and without blemish." They said: "Now hast thou brought the truth." Then they offered her in sacrifice, but not with good-will.

Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:160

وَقَطَّعْنَٰهُمُ ٱثْنَتَىْ عَشْرَةَ أَسْبَاطًا أُمَمًا وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ إِذِ ٱسْتَسْقَىٰهُ قَوْمُهُۥٓ أَنِ ٱضْرِب بِّعَصَاكَ ٱلْحَجَرَ فَٱنۢبَجَسَتْ مِنْهُ ٱثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ عَيْنًا قَدْ عَلِمَ كُلُّ أُنَاسٍ مَّشْرَبَهُمْ وَظَلَّلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْغَمَٰمَ وَأَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْمَنَّ وَٱلسَّلْوَىٰ كُلُوا۟ مِن طَيِّبَٰتِ مَا رَزَقْنَٰكُمْ وَمَا ظَلَمُونَا وَلَٰكِن كَانُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ

waqaṭṭaʿnāhumu ithnatā ʿashrata asbāṭan umaman wa-awḥaynā ilā mūsā idhi istasqāhu qawmuhu ani iḍrib biʿaṣāka l-ḥajara fa-inbajasat minhu athnatā ʿashrata ʿaynan qad ʿalima kullu unāsin mashrabahum wa-ẓallalnā ʿalayhimu l-ghamāma wa-anzalnā ʿalayhimu l-manna wa-l-salwā kulū min ṭayyibāti mā razaqnākum wa-mā ẓalamūnā wa-lākin kānū anfusahum yaẓlimūna

We divided them into twelve tribes or nations. We directed Moses by inspiration, when his (thirsty) people asked him for water: "Strike the rock with thy staff": out of it there gushed forth twelve springs: Each group knew its own place for water. We gave them the shade of clouds, and sent down to them manna and quails, (saying): "Eat of the good things We have provided for you": (but they rebelled); to Us they did no harm, but they harmed their own souls.

Sura Yūsuf 12:41

يَٰصَىٰحِبَىِ ٱلسِّجْنِ أَمَّآ أَحَدُكُمَا فَيَسْقِى رَبَّهُۥ خَمْرًا وَأَمَّا ٱلْأَخَرُ فَيُصْلَبُ فَتَأْكُلُ ٱلطَّيْرُ مِن رَّأْسِهِۦ قُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ ٱلَّذِى فِيهِ تَسْتَفْتِيَانِ

yā-ṣāḥibayi l-sijni ammā aḥadukumā fa-yasqī rabbahu khamran wa-ammā l-akharu fa-yuṣlabu fa-takulu l-ṭayru min rrasihi quḍiya l-amru alladhī fīhi tastaftiyāni

"O my two companions of the prison! As to one of you, he will pour out the wine for his lord to drink: as for the other, he will hang from the cross, and the birds will eat from off his head. (so) hath been decreed that matter whereof ye twain do enquire"...

Sura al-Raʿd 13:4

وَفِى ٱلْأَرْضِ قِطَعٌ مُّتَجَٰوِرَٰتٌ وَجَنَّٰتٌ مِّنْ أَعْنَٰبٍ وَزَرْعٌ وَنَخِيلٌ صِنْوَانٌ وَغَيْرُ صِنْوَانٍ يُسْقَىٰ بِمَآءٍ وَٰحِدٍ وَنُفَضِّلُ بَعْضَهَا عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ فِى ٱلْأُكُلِ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ

wa-fī l-arḍi qiṭaʿun mutajāwirātun wa-jannātun min aʿnābin wa-zarʿun wa-nakhīlun ṣinwānun wa-ghayru ṣinwānin yusqa bi-māʾin wāḥidin wa-nufaḍḍilu baʿḍahā ʿalā baʿḍin fī l-ukuli inna fī dhālika la-āyātin li-qawmin yaʿqilūna

And in the earth are tracts (diverse though) neighbouring, and gardens of vines and fields sown with corn, and palm trees - growing out of single roots or otherwise: watered with the same water, yet some of them We make more excellent than others to eat. Behold, verily in these things there are signs for those who understand!

Sura Ibrāhīm 14:16

مِّن وَرَآئِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ وَيُسْقَىٰ مِن مَّآءٍ صَدِيدٍ

min warāʾihi jahannamu wa-yusqa min māʾin ṣadīdin

In front of such a one is Hell, and he is given, for drink, boiling fetid water.

Sura al-Ḥijr 15:22

وَأَرْسَلْنَا ٱلرِّيَٰحَ لَوَٰقِحَ فَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَأَسْقَيْنَٰكُمُوهُ وَمَآ أَنتُمْ لَهُۥ بِخَٰزِنِينَ

wa-arsalnā l-riyāḥa lawāqiḥa fa-anzalnā mina l-samāʾi māʾan fa-asqaynākumūhu wa-mā antum lahu bikhāzinīna

And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores.

Sura al-Naḥl 16:66

وَإِنَّ لَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ لَعِبْرَةً نُّسْقِيكُم مِّمَّا فِى بُطُونِهِۦ مِنۢ بَيْنِ فَرْثٍ وَدَمٍ لَّبَنًا خَالِصًا سَآئِغًا لِّلشَّٰرِبِينَ

wa-inna la-kum fī l-anʿāmi la-ʿibratan nnusqīkum mimmā fī buṭūnihi min bayni farthin wa-damin llabanan khāliṣan sāʾighan lil-shāribīna

And verily in cattle (too) will ye find an instructive sign. From what is within their bodies between excretions and blood, We produce, for your drink, milk, pure and agreeable to those who drink it.

Sura al-Muʾminūn 23:21

وَإِنَّ لَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ لَعِبْرَةً نُّسْقِيكُم مِّمَّا فِى بُطُونِهَا وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَنَٰفِعُ كَثِيرَةٌ وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ

wa-inna la-kum fī l-anʿāmi la-ʿibratan nnusqīkum mimmā fī buṭūnihā wa-lakum fīhā manāfiʿu kathīratun wa-minhā taʾkulūna

And in cattle (too) ye have an instructive example: from within their bodies We produce (milk) for you to drink; there are, in them, (besides), numerous (other) benefits for you; and of their (meat) ye eat;

Sura al-Furqān 25:49

لِّنُحْۦِىَ بِهِۦ بَلْدَةً مَّيْتًا وَنُسْقِيَهُۥ مِمَّا خَلَقْنَآ أَنْعَٰمًا وَأَنَاسِىَّ كَثِيرًا

li-nuḥiya bihi baldatan maytan wa-nusqiyahu mimmā khalaqnā anʿāman wa-anāsiyya kathīran

That with it We may give life to a dead land, and slake the thirst of things We have created,- cattle and men in great numbers.

Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:79

وَٱلَّذِى هُوَ يُطْعِمُنِى وَيَسْقِينِ

wa-lladhī huwa yuṭʿimunī wa-yasqīni

"Who gives me food and drink,

Sura al-Qaṣaṣ 28:23

وَلَمَّا وَرَدَ مَآءَ مَدْيَنَ وَجَدَ عَلَيْهِ أُمَّةً مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ يَسْقُونَ وَوَجَدَ مِن دُونِهِمُ ٱمْرَأَتَيْنِ تَذُودَانِ قَالَ مَا خَطْبُكُمَا قَالَتَا لَا نَسْقِى حَتَّىٰ يُصْدِرَ ٱلرِّعَآءُ وَأَبُونَا شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ

wa-lammā warada māa madyana wajada ʿalayhi ummatan mina l-nāsi yasqūna wa-wajada min dūnihimu mraatayni tadhūdāni qalā mā khaṭbukumā qālatā lā nasqī ḥattā yuṣdira l-riʿāʾu wa-abūnā shaykhun kabīrun

And when he arrived at the watering (place) in Madyan, he found there a group of men watering (their flocks), and besides them he found two women who were keeping back (their flocks). He said: "What is the matter with you?" They said: "We cannot water (our flocks) until the shepherds take back (their flocks): And our father is a very old man."

Sura al-Qaṣaṣ 28:24

فَسَقَىٰ لَهُمَا ثُمَّ تَوَلَّىٰٓ إِلَى ٱلظِّلِّ فَقَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّى لِمَآ أَنزَلْتَ إِلَىَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ

fasaqa lahumā thumma tawalla ilā l-ẓilli fa-qāla rabbi innī limā anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqīrun

So he watered (their flocks) for them; then he turned back to the shade, and said:"O my Lord! truly am I in (desperate) need of any good that Thou dost send me!"

Sura al-Qaṣaṣ 28:25

فَجَآءَتْهُ إِحْدَىٰهُمَا تَمْشِى عَلَى ٱسْتِحْيَآءٍ قَالَتْ إِنَّ أَبِى يَدْعُوكَ لِيَجْزِيَكَ أَجْرَ مَا سَقَيْتَ لَنَا فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُۥ وَقَصَّ عَلَيْهِ ٱلْقَصَصَ قَالَ لَا تَخَفْ نَجَوْتَ مِنَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

fajāathu iḥdāhumā tamshī ʿalā astiḥyāin qālat inna abī yadʿūka līajzīaka ajra mā saqayta la-nā fa-lammā jāʾahu wa-qaṣṣa ʿalayhi l-qaṣaṣa qalā lā takhaf najawta mina l-qawmi l-ẓālimīna

Afterwards one of the (damsels) came (back) to him, walking bashfully. She said: "My father invites thee that he may reward thee for having watered (our flocks) for us." So when he came to him and narrated the story, he said: "Fear thou not: (well) hast thou escaped from unjust people."

Sura Muḥammad 47:15

مَّثَلُ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ٱلَّتِى وُعِدَ ٱلْمُتَّقُونَ فِيهَآ أَنْهَٰرٌ مِّن مَّآءٍ غَيْرِ ءَاسِنٍ وَأَنْهَٰرٌ مِّن لَّبَنٍ لَّمْ يَتَغَيَّرْ طَعْمُهُۥ وَأَنْهَٰرٌ مِّنْ خَمْرٍ لَّذَّةٍ لِّلشَّٰرِبِينَ وَأَنْهَٰرٌ مِّنْ عَسَلٍ مُّصَفًّى وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ كَمَنْ هُوَ خَٰلِدٌ فِى ٱلنَّارِ وَسُقُوا۟ مَآءً حَمِيمًا فَقَطَّعَ أَمْعَآءَهُمْ

mathalu l-jannati allatī wuʿida l-muttaqūna fīhā anhārun min māʾin ghayri āsinin wa-anhārun min labanin lam yataghayyar ṭaʿmuhu wa-anhārun min khamrin ladhdhatin lil-shāribīna wa-anhārun min ʿasalin muṣaffan wa-lahum fīhā min kulli l-thamarāti wa-maghfiratun min rabbihim kaman huwa khālidun fī l-nāri wa-suqū māʾan ḥamīman fa-qaṭṭaʿa amʿāʾahum

(Here is) a Parable of the Garden which the righteous are promised: in it are rivers of water incorruptible; rivers of milk of which the taste never changes; rivers of wine, a joy to those who drink; and rivers of honey pure and clear. In it there are for them all kinds of fruits; and Grace from their Lord. (Can those in such Bliss) be compared to such as shall dwell for ever in the Fire, and be given, to drink, boiling water, so that it cuts up their bowels (to pieces)?

Sura al-Jinn 72:16

وَأَلَّوِ ٱسْتَقَٰمُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلطَّرِيقَةِ لَأَسْقَيْنَٰهُم مَّآءً غَدَقًا

wa-allawi istaqāmū ʿalā l-ṭarīqati laasqaynāhum māan ghadaqan

(And Allah's Message is): "If they (the Pagans) had (only) remained on the (right) Way, We should certainly have bestowed on them Rain in abundance.

Sura al-Insān 76:17

وَيُسْقَوْنَ فِيهَا كَأْسًا كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا زَنجَبِيلًا

wa-yusqawna fīhā kaʾsan kāna mizājuhā zanjabīlan

And they will be given to drink there of a Cup (of Wine) mixed with Zanjabil,-

Sura al-Insān 76:21

عَٰلِيَهُمْ ثِيَابُ سُندُسٍ خُضْرٌ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٌ وَحُلُّوٓا۟ أَسَاوِرَ مِن فِضَّةٍ وَسَقَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ شَرَابًا طَهُورًا

ʿāliyahum thiyābu sundusin khuḍrun wa-istabraqun wa-ḥullū asāwira min fiḍḍatin wa-saqāhum rabbuhum sharāban ṭahūran

Upon them will be green Garments of fine silk and heavy brocade, and they will be adorned with Bracelets of silver; and their Lord will give to them to drink of a Wine Pure and Holy.

Sura al-Mursalāt 77:27

وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَٰمِخَٰتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَٰكُم مَّآءً فُرَاتًا

wa-jaʿalnā fīhā rawāsiya shāmikhātin wa-asqaynākum māan furātan

And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)?

Sura al-Muṭaffifīn 83:25

يُسْقَوْنَ مِن رَّحِيقٍ مَّخْتُومٍ

yusqawna min rraḥīqin makhtūmin

Their thirst will be slaked with Pure Wine sealed:

Sura al-Ghāshiyah 88:5

تُسْقَىٰ مِنْ عَيْنٍ ءَانِيَةٍ

tusqā min ʿaynin āniyatin

The while they are given, to drink, of a boiling hot spring,
