Sura al-Ḥijr 15:12

كَذَٰلِكَ نَسْلُكُهُۥ فِى قُلُوبِ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

ka-dhālika naslukuhu fī qulūbi l-mujrimīna

Even so do we let it creep into the hearts of the sinners -

Sura al-Naḥl 16:69

ثُمَّ كُلِى مِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ فَٱسْلُكِى سُبُلَ رَبِّكِ ذُلُلًا يَخْرُجُ مِنۢ بُطُونِهَا شَرَابٌ مُّخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَٰنُهُۥ فِيهِ شِفَآءٌ لِّلنَّاسِ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

thumma kulī min kulli l-thamarāti fa-islukī subula rabbiki dhululan yakhruju min buṭūnihā sharābun mukhtalifun alwānuhu fīhi shifāʾun lil-nāsi inna fī dhālika la-āyatan li-qawmin yatafakkarūna

Then to eat of all the produce (of the earth), and find with skill the spacious paths of its Lord: there issues from within their bodies a drink of varying colours, wherein is healing for men: verily in this is a Sign for those who give thought.

Sura Ṭā Hā 20:53

ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ مَهْدًا وَسَلَكَ لَكُمْ فِيهَا سُبُلًا وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزْوَٰجًا مِّن نَّبَاتٍ شَتَّىٰ

alladhī jaʿala lakumu l-arḍa mahdan wa-salaka la-kum fīhā subulan wa-anzala mina l-samāʾi māʾan fa-akhrajnā bihi azwājan min nnabātin shatta

"He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others.

Sura al-Muʾminūn 23:27

فَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْهِ أَنِ ٱصْنَعِ ٱلْفُلْكَ بِأَعْيُنِنَا وَوَحْيِنَا فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَمْرُنَا وَفَارَ ٱلتَّنُّورُ فَٱسْلُكْ فِيهَا مِن كُلٍّ زَوْجَيْنِ ٱثْنَيْنِ وَأَهْلَكَ إِلَّا مَن سَبَقَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلْقَوْلُ مِنْهُمْ وَلَا تُخَٰطِبْنِى فِى ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓا۟ إِنَّهُم مُّغْرَقُونَ

fa-awḥaynā ilayhi ani iṣnaʿi l-fulka bi-aʿyuninā wa-waḥyinā fa-idhā jāa amrunā wa-fāra l-tannūru fa-isluk fīhā min kullin zawjayni ithnayni wa-ahlaka illā man sabaqa ʿalayhi l-qawlu minhum wa-lā tukhāṭibnī fī lladhīna ẓalamū innahum mughraqūna

So We inspired him (with this message): "Construct the Ark within Our sight and under Our guidance: then when comes Our Command, and the fountains of the earth gush forth, take thou on board pairs of every species, male and female, and thy family- except those of them against whom the Word has already gone forth: And address Me not in favour of the wrong-doers; for they shall be drowned (in the Flood).

Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:200

كَذَٰلِكَ سَلَكْنَٰهُ فِى قُلُوبِ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

ka-dhālika salaknāhu fī qulūbi l-mujrimīna

Thus have We caused it to enter the hearts of the sinners.

Sura al-Qaṣaṣ 28:32

ٱسْلُكْ يَدَكَ فِى جَيْبِكَ تَخْرُجْ بَيْضَآءَ مِنْ غَيْرِ سُوٓءٍ وَٱضْمُمْ إِلَيْكَ جَنَاحَكَ مِنَ ٱلرَّهْبِ فَذَٰنِكَ بُرْهَٰنَانِ مِن رَّبِّكَ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَإِي۟هِۦٓ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمًا فَٰسِقِينَ

isluk yadaka fī jaybika takhruj bayḍāʾa min ghayri sūʾin wa-iḍmum ilayka janāḥaka mina l-rahbi fadhānika burhānāni min rabbika ilā firʿawna wa-malaīhi innahum kānū qawman fāsiqīna

"Move thy hand into thy bosom, and it will come forth white without stain (or harm), and draw thy hand close to thy side (to guard) against fear. Those are the two credentials from thy Lord to Pharaoh and his Chiefs: for truly they are a people rebellious and wicked."

Sura al-Zumar 39:21

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّـهَ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَسَلَكَهُۥ يَنَٰبِيعَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ يُخْرِجُ بِهِۦ زَرْعًا مُّخْتَلِفًا أَلْوَٰنُهُۥ ثُمَّ يَهِيجُ فَتَرَىٰهُ مُصْفَرًّا ثُمَّ يَجْعَلُهُۥ حُطَٰمًا إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَذِكْرَىٰ لِأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ

a-lam tara annā allāha anzala mina l-samāʾi māʾan fa-salakahu yanābīʿa fī l-arḍi thumma yukhriju bihi zarʿan mukhtalifan alwānuhu thumma yahīju fa-tarahu muṣfarran thumma yajʿaluhu ḥuṭāman inna fī dhālika la-dhikrā li-ūlī l-albābi

Seest thou not that Allah sends down rain from the sky, and leads it through springs in the earth? Then He causes to grow, therewith, produce of various colours: then it withers; thou wilt see it grow yellow; then He makes it dry up and crumble away. Truly, in this, is a Message of remembrance to men of understanding.

Sura al-Ḥāqqah 69:32

ثُمَّ فِى سِلْسِلَةٍ ذَرْعُهَا سَبْعُونَ ذِرَاعًا فَٱسْلُكُوهُ

thumma fī silsilatin dharʿuhā sabʿūna dhirāʿan fa-islukūhu

"Further, make him march in a chain, whereof the length is seventy cubits!

Sura Nūḥ 71:20

لِّتَسْلُكُوا۟ مِنْهَا سُبُلًا فِجَاجًا

li-taslukū minhā subulan fijājan

"'That ye may go about therein, in spacious roads.'"

Sura al-Jinn 72:17

لِّنَفْتِنَهُمْ فِيهِ وَمَن يُعْرِضْ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّهِۦ يَسْلُكْهُ عَذَابًا صَعَدًا

li-naftinahum fīhi wa-man yuʿriḍ ʿan dhikri rabbihi yaslukhu ʿadhāban ṣaʿadan

"That We might try them by that (means). But if any turns away from the remembrance of his Lord, He will cause him to undergo a severe Penalty.

Sura al-Jinn 72:27

إِلَّا مَنِ ٱرْتَضَىٰ مِن رَّسُولٍ فَإِنَّهُۥ يَسْلُكُ مِنۢ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِۦ رَصَدًا

illā mani irtaḍā min rrasūlin fa-innahu yasluku min bayni yadayhi wa-min khalfihi raṣadan

"Except a messenger whom He has chosen: and then He makes a band of watchers march before him and behind him,

Sura al-Muddaththir 74:42

مَا سَلَكَكُمْ فِى سَقَرَ

mā salakakum fī saqara

"What led you into Hell Fire?"
