Ramadhan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur'an, as a guide to mankind, also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (Between right and wrong). So every one of you who is present (at his home) during that month should spend it in fasting, but if any one is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed period (Should be made up) by days later. There is the type of man whose speech about this world's life May dazzle thee, and he calls Allah to witness about what is in his heart; yet is he the most contentious of enemies.

There is no god but He: That is the witness of Allah, His angels, and those endued with knowledge, standing firm on justice. There is no god but He, the Exalted in Power, the Wise.
(3:86)

How shall Allah Guide those who reject Faith after they accepted it and bore witness that the Messenger was true and that Clear Signs had come unto them? but Allah guides not a people unjust.

Surah 4 al-Nisāʾ (The Women)
(4:15)

وَٱلَّٰتِى  يَأْتِينَ  ٱلْفَٰحِشَةَ  مِن  نِّسَآئِكُمْ  فَٱسْتَشْهِدُوا۟  عَلَيْهِنَّ  أَرْبَعَةً  مِّنكُمْ  فَإِن  شَهِدُوا۟  فَأَمْسِكُوهُنَّ  فِى  ٱلْبُيُوتِ  حَتَّىٰ  يَتَوَفَّىٰهُنَّ  ٱلْمَوْتُ  أَوْ  يَجْعَلَ  ٱللَّـهُ  لَهُنَّ  سَبِيلًا wa‑allātī yaʾtīna l‑fāḥishata min nasāʾikum fa‑istashhidū ʿalayhinna arbaʿatan minkum fa‑in shahidū fa‑amsikūhunna l‑buyūti ḥattā yatawaffahunna l‑mawtu aw yajʿala allāhu la‑hunna sabīlan

(4:166)

But Allah beareth witness that what He hath sent unto thee He hath sent from His (own) knowledge, and the angels bear witness: But enough is Allah for a witness.

Surah 6 al-Anʿām (The Cattle)
(6:130)

يَٰمَعْشَرَ  ٱلْجِنِّ  وَٱلْإِنسِ  أَلَمْ  يَأْتِكُمْ  رُسُلٌ  مِّنكُمْ  يَقُصُّونَ  عَلَيْكُمْ  ءَايَٰتِى  وَيُنذِرُونَكُمْ  لِقَآءَ  يَوْمِكُمْ  هَٰذَا  قَالُوا۟  شَهِدْنَا  عَلَىٰٓ  أَنفُسِنَا  وَغَرَّتْهُمُ  ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ  ٱلدُّنْيَا  وَشَهِدُوا۟  عَلَىٰٓ  أَنفُسِهِمْ  أَنَّهُمْ  كَانُوا۟  كَٰفِرِينَ yā‑maʿshara l‑jinni wa‑l‑insi a‑lam yatikum rusulun minkum yaquṣṣūna ʿalaykum āyātī wa‑yundhirūnakum liqāʾa yawmikum hādhā qālū shahidnā ʿala anfusinā wa‑gharrathumu l‑ḥayātu l‑dunyā wa‑shahidū ʿala anfusihim annahum kānū kāfirīna
"O ye assembly of Jinns and men! came there not unto you messengers from amongst you, setting forth unto you My signs, and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say: "We bear witness against ourselves." It was the life of this world that deceived them. So against themselves will they bear witness that they rejected Faith.
(6:150)

قُلْ  هَلُمَّ  شُهَدَآءَكُمُ  ٱلَّذِينَ  يَشْهَدُونَ  أَنَّ  ٱللَّـهَ  حَرَّمَ  هَٰذَا  فَإِن  شَهِدُوا۟  فَلَا  تَشْهَدْ  مَعَهُمْ  وَلَا  تَتَّبِعْ  أَهْوَآءَ  ٱلَّذِينَ  كَذَّبُوا۟  بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا  وَٱلَّذِينَ  لَا  يُؤْمِنُونَ  بِٱلْأَخِرَةِ  وَهُم  بِرَبِّهِمْ  يَعْدِلُونَ qul halumma shuhadāʾakumu lladhīna yashhadūna annā allāha ḥarrama hādhā fa‑in shahidū fa‑lā tashhad maʿahum wa‑lā tattabiʿ ahwāʾa lladhīna kadhdhabū bi‑āyātinā wa‑lladhīna yuʾminūna bil‑akhirati wa‑hum bi‑rabbihim yaʿdilūna
Say: "Bring forward your witnesses to prove that Allah did forbid so and so." If they bring such witnesses, be not thou amongst them: Nor follow thou the vain desires of such as treat our signs as falsehoods, and such as believe not in the Hereafter: for they hold others as equal with their Guardian-Lord.

Surah 7 al-Aʿrāf (The Heights)
(7:37)

فَمَنْ  أَظْلَمُ  مِمَّنِ  ٱفْتَرَىٰ  عَلَى  ٱللَّـهِ  كَذِبًا  أَوْ  كَذَّبَ  بِـَٔايَٰتِهِۦٓ  أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ  يَنَالُهُمْ  نَصِيبُهُم  مِّنَ  ٱلْكِتَٰبِ  حَتَّىٰٓ  إِذَا  جَآءَتْهُمْ  رُسُلُنَا  يَتَوَفَّوْنَهُمْ  قَالُوٓا۟  أَيْنَ  مَا  كُنتُمْ  تَدْعُونَ  مِن  دُونِ  ٱللَّـهِ  قَالُوا۟  ضَلُّوا۟  عَنَّا  وَشَهِدُوا۟  عَلَىٰٓ  أَنفُسِهِمْ  أَنَّهُمْ  كَانُوا۟  كَٰفِرِينَ fa‑man aẓlamu mimmani iftarā ʿalā allāhi kadhiban aw kadhdhaba bi‑āyātihi ulāʾika yanāluhum naṣībuhum mina l‑kitābi ḥatta idhā jāʾathum rusulunā yatawaffawnahum qālū ayna kuntum tadʿūna min dūni allāhi qālū ḍallū ʿannā wa‑shahidū ʿala anfusihim annahum kānū kāfirīna
Who is more unjust than one who invents a lie against Allah or rejects His Signs? For such, their portion appointed must reach them from the Book (of decrees): until, when our messengers (of death) arrive and take their souls, they say: "Where are the things that ye used to invoke besides Allah?" They will reply, "They have left us in the lurch," And they will bear witness against themselves, that they had rejected Allah.
(7:172)

وَإِذْ  أَخَذَ  رَبُّكَ  مِنۢ  بَنِىٓ  ءَادَمَ  مِن  ظُهُورِهِمْ  ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ  وَأَشْهَدَهُمْ  عَلَىٰٓ  أَنفُسِهِمْ  أَلَسْتُ  بِرَبِّكُمْ  قَالُوا۟  بَلَىٰ  شَهِدْنَآ  أَن  تَقُولُوا۟  يَوْمَ  ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ  إِنَّا  كُنَّا  عَنْ  هَٰذَا  غَٰفِلِينَ wa‑idh akhadha rabbuka min banī ādama min ẓuhūrihim dhurriyyatahum wa‑ashhadahum ʿala anfusihim alastu birabbikum qālū balā shahidnā an taqūlū yawma l‑qiyāmati innā kunnā ʿan hādhā ghāfilīna
When thy Lord drew forth from the Children of Adam - from their loins - their descendants, and made them testify concerning themselves, (saying): "Am I not your Lord (who cherishes and sustains you)?"- They said: "Yea! We do testify!" (This), lest ye should say on the Day of Judgment: "Of this we were never mindful":

Surah 9 al-Tawbah (Repentance)
(9:107)

وَٱلَّذِينَ  ٱتَّخَذُوا۟  مَسْجِدًا  ضِرَارًا  وَكُفْرًا  وَتَفْرِيقًۢا  بَيْنَ  ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ  وَإِرْصَادًا  لِّمَنْ  حَارَبَ  ٱللَّـهَ  وَرَسُولَهُۥ  مِن  قَبْلُ  وَلَيَحْلِفُنَّ  إِنْ  أَرَدْنَآ  إِلَّا  ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ  وَٱللَّـهُ  يَشْهَدُ  إِنَّهُمْ  لَكَٰذِبُونَ wa‑lladhīna ittakhadhū masjidan ḍirāran wa‑kufran wa‑tafrīqan bayna l‑muʾminīna wa‑irṣādan li‑man ḥāraba allāha wa‑rasūlahu min qablu wa‑la‑yaḥlifunna in aradnā illā l‑ḥusnā wallāhu yashhadu innahum la‑kādhibūna
And there are those who put up a mosque by way of mischief and infidelity - to disunite the Believers - and in preparation for one who warred against Allah and His Messenger aforetime. They will indeed swear that their intention is nothing but good; But Allah doth declare that they are certainly liars.

Surah 12 Yūsuf (Joseph)
(12:26)

قَالَ  هِىَ  رَٰوَدَتْنِى  عَن  نَّفْسِى  وَشَهِدَ  شَاهِدٌ  مِّنْ  أَهْلِهَآ  إِن  كَانَ  قَمِيصُهُۥ  قُدَّ  مِن  قُبُلٍ  فَصَدَقَتْ  وَهُوَ  مِنَ  ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ qalā hiya rāwadatnī ʿan nnafsī wa‑shahida shāhidun min ahlihā in kāna qamīṣuhu qudda min qubulin fa‑ṣadaqat wa‑huwa mina l‑kādhibīna

The woman and the man guilty of adultery or fornication,- flog each of them with a hundred stripes: Let not compassion move you in their case, in a matter prescribed by Allah, if ye believe in Allah and the Last Day: and let a party of the Believers witness their punishment.

وَيَدْرَؤُا۟  عَنْهَا  ٱلْعَذَابَ  أَن  تَشْهَدَ  أَرْبَعَ  شَهَٰدَٰتٍۭ  بِٱللَّـهِ  إِنَّهُۥ  لَمِنَ  ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ wa‑yadrau ʿanhā l‑ʿadhāba an tashhada arbaʿa shahādātin billāhi innahu la‑mina l‑kādhibīna
