Surah 2 al-Baqara (The Cow)
RefArabic    TransliterationTranslation
(2:58)

And remember We said: "Enter this town, and eat of the plenty therein as ye wish; but enter the gate with humility, in posture and in words, and We shall forgive you your faults and increase (the portion of) those who do good."
(2:223)

نِسَآؤُكُمْ  حَرْثٌ  لَّكُمْ  فَأْتُوا۟  حَرْثَكُمْ  أَنَّىٰ  شِئْتُمْ  وَقَدِّمُوا۟  لِأَنفُسِكُمْ  وَٱتَّقُوا۟  ٱللَّـهَ  وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟  أَنَّكُم  مُّلَٰقُوهُ  وَبَشِّرِ  ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ nisāʾukum ḥarthun la‑kum fa‑ʾtū ḥarthakum annā shiʾtum wa‑qaddimū li‑anfusikum wa‑ittaqū allāha wa‑iʿlamū annakum mulāqūhu wa‑bashshiri l‑muʾminīna
Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will; but do some good act for your souls beforehand; and fear Allah. And know that ye are to meet Him (in the Hereafter), and give (these) good tidings to those who believe.

Surah 6 al-Anʿām (The Cattle)
(6:83)

وَتِلْكَ  حُجَّتُنَآ  ءَاتَيْنَٰهَآ  إِبْرَٰهِيمَ  عَلَىٰ  قَوْمِهِۦ  نَرْفَعُ  دَرَجَٰتٍ  مَّن  نَّشَآءُ  إِنَّ  رَبَّكَ  حَكِيمٌ  عَلِيمٌ wa‑tilka ḥujjatunā ātaynāhā ibrāhīma ʿalā qawmihi narfaʿu darajātin man nashāʾu inna rabbaka ḥakīmun ʿalīmun
That was the reasoning about Us, which We gave to Abraham (to use) against his people: We raise whom We will, degree after degree: for thy Lord is full of wisdom and knowledge.
(6:138)

وَقَالُوا۟  هَٰذِهِۦٓ  أَنْعَٰمٌ  وَحَرْثٌ  حِجْرٌ  لَّا  يَطْعَمُهَآ  إِلَّا  مَن  نَّشَآءُ  بِزَعْمِهِمْ  وَأَنْعَٰمٌ  حُرِّمَتْ  ظُهُورُهَا  وَأَنْعَٰمٌ  لَّا  يَذْكُرُونَ  ٱسْمَ  ٱللَّـهِ  عَلَيْهَا  ٱفْتِرَآءً  عَلَيْهِ  سَيَجْزِيهِم  بِمَا  كَانُوا۟  يَفْتَرُونَ wa‑qālū hādhihi anʿāmun wa‑ḥarthun ḥijrun yaṭʿamuhā illā man nashāʾu bi‑zaʿmihim wa‑anʿāmun ḥurrimat ẓuhūruhā wa‑anʿāmun yadhkurūna isma allāhi ʿalayhā iftirāʾan ʿalayhi sa‑yajzīhim bi‑mā kānū yaftarūna
And they say that such and such cattle and crops are taboo, and none should eat of them except those whom - so they say - We wish; further, there are cattle forbidden to yoke or burden, and cattle on which, (at slaughter), the name of Allah is not pronounced; - inventions against Allah's name: soon will He requite them for their inventions.

Surah 7 al-Aʿrāf (The Heights)
(7:100)

أَوَلَمْ  يَهْدِ  لِلَّذِينَ  يَرِثُونَ  ٱلْأَرْضَ  مِنۢ  بَعْدِ  أَهْلِهَآ  أَن  لَّوْ  نَشَآءُ  أَصَبْنَٰهُم  بِذُنُوبِهِمْ  وَنَطْبَعُ  عَلَىٰ  قُلُوبِهِمْ  فَهُمْ  لَا  يَسْمَعُونَ a‑wa‑lam yahdi li‑lladhīna yarithūna l‑arḍa min baʿdi ahlihā an law nashāʾu aṣabnāhum bi‑dhunūbihim wa‑naṭbaʿu ʿalā qulūbihim fa‑hum yasmaʿūna
To those who inherit the earth in succession to its (previous) possessors, is it not a guiding, (lesson) that, if We so willed, We could punish them (too) for their sins, and seal up their hearts so that they could not hear?
(7:161)

And remember it was said to them: "Dwell in this town and eat therein as ye wish, but say the word of humility and enter the gate in a posture of humility: We shall forgive you your faults; We shall increase (the portion of) those who do good."
(7:176)

وَلَوْ  شِئْنَا  لَرَفَعْنَٰهُ  بِهَا  وَلَٰكِنَّهُۥٓ  أَخْلَدَ  إِلَى  ٱلْأَرْضِ  وَٱتَّبَعَ  هَوَىٰهُ  فَمَثَلُهُۥ  كَمَثَلِ  ٱلْكَلْبِ  إِن  تَحْمِلْ  عَلَيْهِ  يَلْهَثْ  أَوْ  تَتْرُكْهُ  يَلْهَث  ذَّٰلِكَ  مَثَلُ  ٱلْقَوْمِ  ٱلَّذِينَ  كَذَّبُوا۟  بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا  فَٱقْصُصِ  ٱلْقَصَصَ  لَعَلَّهُمْ  يَتَفَكَّرُونَ wa‑law shiʾnā la‑rafaʿnāhu bihā wa‑lā‑kinnahu akhlada ilā l‑arḍi wa‑ittabaʿa hawahu fa‑mathaluhu ka‑mathali l‑kalbi in taḥmil ʿalayhi yalhath aw tatrukhu yalhath dhālika mathalu l‑qawmi lladhīna kadhdhabū bi‑āyātinā fa‑iqṣuṣi l‑qaṣaṣa la‑ʿallahum yatafakkarūna
If it had been Our will, We should have elevated him with Our signs; but he inclined to the earth, and followed his own vain desires. His similitude is that of a dog: if you attack him, he lolls out his tongue, or if you leave him alone, he (still) lolls out his tongue. That is the similitude of those who reject Our signs; So relate the story; perchance they may reflect.

Surah 8 al-Anfāl (The Spoils of War)
(8:31)

وَإِذَا  تُتْلَىٰ  عَلَيْهِمْ  ءَايَٰتُنَا  قَالُوا۟  قَدْ  سَمِعْنَا  لَوْ  نَشَآءُ  لَقُلْنَا  مِثْلَ  هَٰذَآ  إِنْ  هَٰذَآ  إِلَّآ  أَسَٰطِيرُ  ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ wa‑idhā tutlā ʿalayhim āyātunā qālū qad samiʿnā law nashāʾu laqulnā mithla hādhā in hādhā illā asāṭīru l‑awwalīna
When Our Signs are rehearsed to them, they say: "We have heard this (before): if we wished, we could say (words) like these: these are nothing but tales of the ancients."

Surah 11 Hūd (Hud)
(11:87)

قَالُوا۟  يَٰشُعَيْبُ  أَصَلَوٰتُكَ  تَأْمُرُكَ  أَن  نَّتْرُكَ  مَا  يَعْبُدُ  ءَابَآؤُنَآ  أَوْ  أَن  نَّفْعَلَ  فِىٓ  أَمْوَٰلِنَا  مَا  نَشَٰٓؤُا۟  إِنَّكَ  لَأَنتَ  ٱلْحَلِيمُ  ٱلرَّشِيدُ qālū yā‑shuʿaybu aṣalātuka taʾmuruka an natruka yaʿbudu ābāunā aw an nafʿala amwālinā nashāʾu innaka la‑anta l‑ḥalīmu l‑rashīdu
They said: "O Shu'aib! Does thy (religion of) prayer command thee that we leave off the worship which our fathers practised, or that we leave off doing what we like with our property? truly, thou art the one that forbeareth with faults and is right-minded!"

Surah 12 Yūsuf (Joseph)
(12:56)

وَكَذَٰلِكَ  مَكَّنَّا  لِيُوسُفَ  فِى  ٱلْأَرْضِ  يَتَبَوَّأُ  مِنْهَا  حَيْثُ  يَشَآءُ  نُصِيبُ  بِرَحْمَتِنَا  مَن  نَّشَآءُ  وَلَا  نُضِيعُ  أَجْرَ  ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ wa‑ka‑dhālika makkannā li‑yūsufa l‑arḍi yatabawwaʾu minhā ḥaythu yashāʾu nuṣību biraḥmatinā man nashāʾu wa‑lā nuḍīʿu ajra l‑muḥsinīna
Thus did We give established power to Joseph in the land, to take possession therein as, when, or where he pleased. We bestow of our Mercy on whom We please, and We suffer not, to be lost, the reward of those who do good.
(12:76)

فَبَدَأَ  بِأَوْعِيَتِهِمْ  قَبْلَ  وِعَآءِ  أَخِيهِ  ثُمَّ  ٱسْتَخْرَجَهَا  مِن  وِعَآءِ  أَخِيهِ  كَذَٰلِكَ  كِدْنَا  لِيُوسُفَ  مَا  كَانَ  لِيَأْخُذَ  أَخَاهُ  فِى  دِينِ  ٱلْمَلِكِ  إِلَّآ  أَن  يَشَآءَ  ٱللَّـهُ  نَرْفَعُ  دَرَجَٰتٍ  مَّن  نَّشَآءُ  وَفَوْقَ  كُلِّ  ذِى  عِلْمٍ  عَلِيمٌ fa‑badaʾa bi‑awʿiyatihim qabla wiʿāʾi akhīhi thumma istakhrajahā min wiʿāʾi akhīhi ka‑dhālika kidnā li‑yūsufa kāna līakhudha akhāhu dīni l‑maliki illā an yashāʾa allāhu narfaʿu darajātin man nashāʾu wa‑fawqa kulli dhī ʿilmin ʿalīmun
So he began (the search) with their baggage, before (he came to) the baggage of his brother: at length he brought it out of his brother's baggage. Thus did We plan for Joseph. He could not take his brother by the law of the king except that Allah willed it (so). We raise to degrees (of wisdom) whom We please: but over all endued with knowledge is one, the All-Knowing.
(12:110)

حَتَّىٰٓ  إِذَا  ٱسْتَيْـَٔسَ  ٱلرُّسُلُ  وَظَنُّوٓا۟  أَنَّهُمْ  قَدْ  كُذِبُوا۟  جَآءَهُمْ  نَصْرُنَا  فَنُجِّىَ  مَن  نَّشَآءُ  وَلَا  يُرَدُّ  بَأْسُنَا  عَنِ  ٱلْقَوْمِ  ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ ḥatta idhā istayʾasa l‑rusulu wa‑ẓannū annahum qad kudhibū jāʾahum naṣrunā fa‑nujjiya man nashāʾu wa‑lā yuraddu baʾsunā ʿani l‑qawmi l‑mujrimīna
(Respite will be granted) until, when the messengers give up hope (of their people) and (come to) think that they were treated as liars, there reaches them Our help, and those whom We will are delivered into safety. But never will be warded off our punishment from those who are in sin.

Surah 16 al-Naḥl (The Bee)
(16:31)

Gardens of Eternity which they will enter: beneath them flow (pleasant) rivers: they will have therein all that they wish: thus doth Allah reward the righteous,-

Surah 17 al-Isrāʾ (The Children of Israel)
(17:18)

مَّن  كَانَ  يُرِيدُ  ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ  عَجَّلْنَا  لَهُۥ  فِيهَا  مَا  نَشَآءُ  لِمَن  نُّرِيدُ  ثُمَّ  جَعَلْنَا  لَهُۥ  جَهَنَّمَ  يَصْلَىٰهَا  مَذْمُومًا  مَّدْحُورًا man kāna yurīdu l‑ʿājilata ʿajjalnā lahu fīhā nashāʾu li‑man nnurīdu thumma jaʿalnā lahu jahannama yaṣlāhā madhmūman madḥūran
If any do wish for the transitory things (of this life), We readily grant them - such things as We will, to such person as We will: in the end have We provided Hell for them: they will burn therein, disgraced and rejected.
(17:86)

وَلَئِن  شِئْنَا  لَنَذْهَبَنَّ  بِٱلَّذِىٓ  أَوْحَيْنَآ  إِلَيْكَ  ثُمَّ  لَا  تَجِدُ  لَكَ  بِهِۦ  عَلَيْنَا  وَكِيلًا wa‑laʾin shiʾnā lanadhhabanna bi‑lladhī awḥaynā ilayka thumma tajidu la‑ka bihi ʿalaynā wakīlan
If it were Our Will, We could take away that which We have sent thee by inspiration:then wouldst thou find none to plead thy affair in that matter as against Us,-

Surah 21 al-Anbiyāʾ (The Prophets)
(21:9)

ثُمَّ  صَدَقْنَٰهُمُ  ٱلْوَعْدَ  فَأَنجَيْنَٰهُمْ  وَمَن  نَّشَآءُ  وَأَهْلَكْنَا  ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ thumma ṣadaqnāhumu l‑waʿda fa‑anjaynāhum wa‑man nashāʾu wa‑ahlaknā l‑musrifīna
In the end We fulfilled to them Our Promise, and We saved them and those whom We pleased, but We destroyed those who transgressed beyond bounds.

Surah 22 al-Ḥajj (The Pilgrimage)
(22:5)

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا  ٱلنَّاسُ  إِن  كُنتُمْ  فِى  رَيْبٍ  مِّنَ  ٱلْبَعْثِ  فَإِنَّا  خَلَقْنَٰكُم  مِّن  تُرَابٍ  ثُمَّ  مِن  نُّطْفَةٍ  ثُمَّ  مِنْ  عَلَقَةٍ  ثُمَّ  مِن  مُّضْغَةٍ  مُّخَلَّقَةٍ  وَغَيْرِ  مُخَلَّقَةٍ  لِّنُبَيِّنَ  لَكُمْ  وَنُقِرُّ  فِى  ٱلْأَرْحَامِ  مَا  نَشَآءُ  إِلَىٰٓ  أَجَلٍ  مُّسَمًّى  ثُمَّ  نُخْرِجُكُمْ  طِفْلًا  ثُمَّ  لِتَبْلُغُوٓا۟  أَشُدَّكُمْ  وَمِنكُم  مَّن  يُتَوَفَّىٰ  وَمِنكُم  مَّن  يُرَدُّ  إِلَىٰٓ  أَرْذَلِ  ٱلْعُمُرِ  لِكَيْلَا  يَعْلَمَ  مِنۢ  بَعْدِ  عِلْمٍ  شَيْـًٔا  وَتَرَى  ٱلْأَرْضَ  هَامِدَةً  فَإِذَآ  أَنزَلْنَا  عَلَيْهَا  ٱلْمَآءَ  ٱهْتَزَّتْ  وَرَبَتْ  وَأَنۢبَتَتْ  مِن  كُلِّ  زَوْجٍۭ  بَهِيجٍ yā‑ayyuhā l‑nāsu in kuntum raybin mina l‑baʿthi fa‑innā khalaqnākum min turābin thumma min nuṭfatin thumma min ʿalaqatin thumma min muḍghatin mukhallaqatin wa‑ghayri mukhallaqatin li‑nubayyina la‑kum wa‑nuqirru l‑arḥāmi nashāʾu ila ajalin musamman thumma nukhrijukum ṭiflan thumma li‑tablughū ashuddakum wa‑minkum man yutawaffā wa‑minkum man yuraddu ila ardhali l‑ʿumuri li‑kaylā yaʿlama min baʿdi ʿilmin shayʾan wa‑tara l‑arḍa hāmidatan fa‑idhā anzalnā ʿalayhā l‑māa ihtazzat wa‑rabat wa‑anbatat min kulli zawjin bahījin
O mankind! if ye have a doubt about the Resurrection, (consider) that We created you out of dust, then out of sperm, then out of a leech-like clot, then out of a morsel of flesh, partly formed and partly unformed, in order that We may manifest (our power) to you; and We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term, then do We bring you out as babes, then (foster you) that ye may reach your age of full strength; and some of you are called to die, and some are sent back to the feeblest old age, so that they know nothing after having known (much), and (further), thou seest the earth barren and lifeless, but when We pour down rain on it, it is stirred (to life), it swells, and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs).

Surah 25 al-Furqān (The Criterion)
(25:16)

"For them there will be therein all that they wish for: they will dwell (there) for aye: A promise to be prayed for from thy Lord."
(25:51)

Had it been Our Will, We could have sent a warner to every centre of population.

Surah 26 al-Shuʿarā (The Poets)
(26:4)

إِن  نَّشَأْ  نُنَزِّلْ  عَلَيْهِم  مِّنَ  ٱلسَّمَآءِ  ءَايَةً  فَظَلَّتْ  أَعْنَٰقُهُمْ  لَهَا  خَٰضِعِينَ in nashaʾ nunazzil ʿalayhim mina l‑samāʾi āyatan fa‑ẓallat aʿnāquhum lahā khāḍiʿīna
If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility.

Surah 32 al-Sajdah (The Adoration)
(32:13)

If We had so willed, We could certainly have brought every soul its true guidance: but the Word from Me will come true, "I will fill Hell with Jinns and men all together."

Surah 34 Sabaʾ (Sheba)
(34:9)

أَفَلَمْ  يَرَوْا۟  إِلَىٰ  مَا  بَيْنَ  أَيْدِيهِمْ  وَمَا  خَلْفَهُم  مِّنَ  ٱلسَّمَآءِ  وَٱلْأَرْضِ  إِن  نَّشَأْ  نَخْسِفْ  بِهِمُ  ٱلْأَرْضَ  أَوْ  نُسْقِطْ  عَلَيْهِمْ  كِسَفًا  مِّنَ  ٱلسَّمَآءِ  إِنَّ  فِى  ذَٰلِكَ  لَءَايَةً  لِّكُلِّ  عَبْدٍ  مُّنِيبٍ a‑fa‑lam yaraw ilā bayna aydīhim wa‑mā khalfahum mina l‑samāʾi wa‑l‑arḍi in nashaʾ nakhsif bihimu l‑arḍa aw nusqiṭ ʿalayhim kisafan mina l‑samāʾi inna dhālika la‑āyatan li‑kulli ʿabdin munībin
See they not what is before them and behind them, of the sky and the earth? If We wished, We could cause the earth to swallow them up, or cause a piece of the sky to fall upon them. Verily in this is a Sign for every devotee that turns to Allah (in repentance).

Surah 36 Yā Sin (Ya Sin)
(36:43)

وَإِن  نَّشَأْ  نُغْرِقْهُمْ  فَلَا  صَرِيخَ  لَهُمْ  وَلَا  هُمْ  يُنقَذُونَ wa‑in nashaʾ nughriqhum fa‑lā ṣarīkha lahum wa‑lā hum yunqadhūna
If it were Our Will, We could drown them: then would there be no helper (to hear their cry), nor could they be delivered,
(36:66)

وَلَوْ  نَشَآءُ  لَطَمَسْنَا  عَلَىٰٓ  أَعْيُنِهِمْ  فَٱسْتَبَقُوا۟  ٱلصِّرَٰطَ  فَأَنَّىٰ  يُبْصِرُونَ wa‑law nashāʾu la‑ṭamasnā ʿala aʿyunihim fa‑istabaqū l‑ṣirāṭa fa‑annā yubṣirūna
If it had been our Will, We could surely have blotted out their eyes; then should they have run about groping for the Path, but how could they have seen?
(36:67)

And if it had been Our Will, We could have transformed them (to remain) in their places; then should they have been unable to move about, nor could they have returned (after error).

Surah 39 al-Zumar (The Companies)
(39:15)

فَٱعْبُدُوا۟  مَا  شِئْتُم  مِّن  دُونِهِۦ  قُلْ  إِنَّ  ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ  ٱلَّذِينَ  خَسِرُوٓا۟  أَنفُسَهُمْ  وَأَهْلِيهِمْ  يَوْمَ  ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ  أَلَا  ذَٰلِكَ  هُوَ  ٱلْخُسْرَانُ  ٱلْمُبِينُ fa‑iʿbudū shiʾtum min dūnihi qul inna l‑khāsirīna lladhīna khasirū anfusahum wa‑ahlīhim yawma l‑qiyāmati āla dhālika huwa l‑khusrānu l‑mubīnu
"Serve ye what ye will besides him." Say: "Truly, those in loss are those who lose their own souls and their People on the Day of Judgment: Ah! that is indeed the (real and) evident Loss!
(39:34)

They shall have all that they wish for, in the presence of their Lord: such is the reward of those who do good:
(39:74)

They will say: "Praise be to Allah, Who has truly fulfilled His Promise to us, and has given us (this) land in heritage: We can dwell in the Garden as we will: how excellent a reward for those who work (righteousness)!"

Surah 41 Fuṣṣilat (Revelations Well Expounded)
(41:40)

إِنَّ  ٱلَّذِينَ  يُلْحِدُونَ  فِىٓ  ءَايَٰتِنَا  لَا  يَخْفَوْنَ  عَلَيْنَآ  أَفَمَن  يُلْقَىٰ  فِى  ٱلنَّارِ  خَيْرٌ  أَم  مَّن  يَأْتِىٓ  ءَامِنًا  يَوْمَ  ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ  ٱعْمَلُوا۟  مَا  شِئْتُمْ  إِنَّهُۥ  بِمَا  تَعْمَلُونَ  بَصِيرٌ inna lladhīna yulḥidūna āyātinā yakhfawna ʿalaynā a‑fa‑man yulqā l‑nāri khayrun am man yaʾtī āminan yawma l‑qiyāmati iʿmalū shiʾtum innahu bi‑mā taʿmalūna baṣīrun
Those who pervert the Truth in Our Signs are not hidden from Us. Which is better?- he that is cast into the Fire, or he that comes safe through, on the Day of Judgment? Do what ye will: verily He seeth (clearly) all that ye do.

Surah 42 al-Shūrā (The Counsel)
(42:22)

Thou wilt see the Wrong-doers in fear on account of what they have earned, and (the burden of) that must (necessarily) fall on them. But those who believe and work righteous deeds will be in the luxuriant meads of the Gardens: they shall have, before their Lord, all that they wish for. That will indeed be the magnificent Bounty (of Allah).
(42:52)

وَكَذَٰلِكَ  أَوْحَيْنَآ  إِلَيْكَ  رُوحًا  مِّنْ  أَمْرِنَا  مَا  كُنتَ  تَدْرِى  مَا  ٱلْكِتَٰبُ  وَلَا  ٱلْإِيمَٰنُ  وَلَٰكِن  جَعَلْنَٰهُ  نُورًا  نَّهْدِى  بِهِۦ  مَن  نَّشَآءُ  مِنْ  عِبَادِنَا  وَإِنَّكَ  لَتَهْدِىٓ  إِلَىٰ  صِرَٰطٍ  مُّسْتَقِيمٍ wa‑ka‑dhālika awḥaynā ilayka rūḥan min amrinā kunta tadrī l‑kitābu wa‑lā l‑īmānu wa‑lākin jaʿalnāhu nūran nahdī bihi man nashāʾu min ʿibādinā wainnaka la‑tahdī ilā ṣirāṭin mustaqīmin
And thus have We, by Our Command, sent inspiration to thee: thou knewest not (before) what was Revelation, and what was Faith; but We have made the (Qur'an) a Light, wherewith We guide such of Our servants as We will; and verily thou dost guide (men) to the Straight Way,-

Surah 43 al-Zukhruf (The Embellishment)
(43:60)

And if it were Our Will, We could make angels from amongst you, succeeding each other on the earth.

Surah 47 Muḥammad (Muhammad)
(47:30)

وَلَوْ  نَشَآءُ  لَأَرَيْنَٰكَهُمْ  فَلَعَرَفْتَهُم  بِسِيمَٰهُمْ  وَلَتَعْرِفَنَّهُمْ  فِى  لَحْنِ  ٱلْقَوْلِ  وَٱللَّـهُ  يَعْلَمُ  أَعْمَٰلَكُمْ wa‑law nashāʾu la‑araynākahum fa‑la‑ʿaraftahum bi‑sīmāhum wa‑la‑taʿrifannahum laḥni l‑qawli wallāhu yaʿlamu aʿmālakum
Had We so wiled, We could have shown them up to thee, and thou shouldst have known them by their marks: but surely thou wilt know them by the tone of their speech! And Allah knows all that ye do.

Surah 50 Qāf (Qaf)
(50:35)

There will be for them therein all that they wish,- and more besides in Our Presence.

Surah 56 al-Wāqiʿah (That Which is Coming)
(56:65)

Were it Our Will, We could crumble it to dry powder, and ye would be left in wonderment,
(56:70)

Were it Our Will, We could make it salt (and unpalatable): then why do ye not give thanks?

Surah 76 al-Insān (The Man)
(76:28)

It is We Who created them, and We have made their joints strong; but, when We will, We can substitute the like of them by a complete change.
(76:30)

وَمَا  تَشَآءُونَ  إِلَّآ  أَن  يَشَآءَ  ٱللَّـهُ  إِنَّ  ٱللَّـهَ  كَانَ  عَلِيمًا  حَكِيمًا wa‑mā tashāʾūna illā an yashāʾa allāhu inna allāha kāna ʿalīman ḥakīman
But ye will not, except as Allah wills; for Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom.

Surah 81 al-Takwīr (The Cessation)
(81:29)

وَمَا  تَشَآءُونَ  إِلَّآ  أَن  يَشَآءَ  ٱللَّـهُ  رَبُّ  ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ wa‑mā tashāʾūna illā an yashāʾa allāhu rabbu l‑ʿālamīna
But ye shall not will except as Allah wills,- the Cherisher of the Worlds.
