Surah 3 Āl-ʿImrān (The Family of Imran)

(3:103)    | وَٱعْتَصِمُوا۟ بِحَبْلِ ٱللَّـهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا۟ وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّـهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ أَعْدَآءً فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم بِنِعْمَتِهِۦٓ إِخْوَٰنًا وَكُنتُمْ عَلَىٰ شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ فَأَنقَذَكُم مِّنْهَا كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّـهُ لَكُمْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ | wa‑iʿtaṣimū biḥabli allāhi jamīʿan wa‑lā tafarraqū wa‑idhkurū niʿmata allāhi ʿalaykum idh kuntum aʿdaʾan fa‑allafa bayna qulūbikum fa‑aṣbaḥtum biniʿmatihi ikhwānan wa‑kuntum ʿalā shafā ḥufratin mina l‑nāri fa‑anqadhakum minhā ka‑dhālika yubayyinu allāhu la‑kum āyātihi la‑ʿallakum tahtadūna | And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches
out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with
gratitude Allah's favour on you; for ye were enemies and He joined your
hearts in love, so that by His Grace, ye became brethren; and ye were on
the brink of the pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus doth Allah make
His Signs clear to you: That ye may be guided.

Surah 30 al-Rūm (The Romans) | (30:17) | فَسُبْحَٰنَ ٱللَّـهِ حِينَ تُمْسُونَ وَحِينَ تُصْبِحُونَ | fa‑subḥāna allāhi ḥīna tumsūna wa‑ḥīna tuṣbiḥūna | So (give) glory to Allah, when ye reach eventide and when ye
rise in the morning;
Sura al-Rūm 30:17 فَسُبْحَٰنَ ٱللَّـهِ حِينَ تُمْسُونَ وَحِينَ تُصْبِحُونَ fa-subḥāna allāhi ḥīna tumsūna wa-ḥīna tuṣbiḥūna So (give) glory to Allah, when ye reach eventide and when ye rise in the morning; |
Surah 41 Fuṣṣilat (Revelations Well Expounded) | (41:23) | وَذَٰلِكُمْ ظَنُّكُمُ ٱلَّذِى ظَنَنتُم بِرَبِّكُمْ أَرْدَىٰكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم مِّنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ | wa‑dhālikum ẓannukumu alladhī ẓanantum birabbikum ardākum fa‑aṣbaḥtum mina l‑khāsirīna | "But this thought of yours which ye did entertain concerning
your Lord, hath brought you to destruction, and (now) have ye become of
those utterly lost!"
Sura Fuṣṣilat 41:23 وَذَٰلِكُمْ ظَنُّكُمُ ٱلَّذِى ظَنَنتُم بِرَبِّكُمْ أَرْدَىٰكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم مِّنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ wa-dhālikum ẓannukumu alladhī ẓanantum birabbikum ardākum fa-aṣbaḥtum mina l-khāsirīna "But this thought of yours which ye did entertain concerning your Lord, hath brought you to destruction, and (now) have ye become of those utterly lost!" |
Surah 49 al-Ḥujurāt (The Chambers) | (49:6) | يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِن جَآءَكُمْ فَاسِقٌۢ بِنَبَإٍ فَتَبَيَّنُوٓا۟ أَن تُصِيبُوا۟ قَوْمًۢا بِجَهَٰلَةٍ فَتُصْبِحُوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَا فَعَلْتُمْ نَٰدِمِينَ | yā‑ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū in jāʾakum fāsiqun bi‑nabaʾin fa‑tabayyanū an tuṣībū qawman bi‑jahālatin fa‑tuṣbiḥū ʿalā mā faʿaltum nādimīna | O ye who believe! If a wicked person comes to you with any
news, ascertain the truth, lest ye harm people unwittingly, and afterwards
become full of repentance for what ye have done.
Sura al-Ḥujurāt 49:6 يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِن جَآءَكُمْ فَاسِقٌۢ بِنَبَإٍ فَتَبَيَّنُوٓا۟ أَن تُصِيبُوا۟ قَوْمًۢا بِجَهَٰلَةٍ فَتُصْبِحُوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَا فَعَلْتُمْ نَٰدِمِينَ yā-ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū in jāʾakum fāsiqun bi-nabaʾin fa-tabayyanū an tuṣībū qawman bi-jahālatin fa-tuṣbiḥū ʿalā mā faʿaltum nādimīna O ye who believe! If a wicked person comes to you with any news, ascertain the truth, lest ye harm people unwittingly, and afterwards become full of repentance for what ye have done. |
