Sura al-Qaṣaṣ 28:38

وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلَأُ مَا عَلِمْتُ لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرِى فَأَوْقِدْ لِى يَٰهَٰمَٰنُ عَلَى ٱلطِّينِ فَٱجْعَل لِّى صَرْحًا لَّعَلِّىٓ أَطَّلِعُ إِلَىٰٓ إِلَٰهِ مُوسَىٰ وَإِنِّى لَأَظُنُّهُۥ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ

wa-qāla firʿawun yā-ayyuhā l-malaʾu mā ʿalimtu la-kum min ilāhin ghayrī fa-awqid lī yā-hāmānu ʿalā l-ṭīni fa-ajʿal lī ṣarḥan laʿallī aṭṭaliʿu ila ilāhi mūsā wa-innī la-aẓunnuhu mina l-kādhibīna

Pharaoh said: "O Chiefs! no god do I know for you but myself: therefore, O Haman! light me a (kiln to bake bricks) out of clay, and build me a lofty palace, that I may mount up to the god of Moses: but as far as I am concerned, I think (Moses) is a liar!"

Sura al-Ghāfir 40:37

أَسْبَٰبَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ فَأَطَّلِعَ إِلَىٰٓ إِلَٰهِ مُوسَىٰ وَإِنِّى لَأَظُنُّهُۥ كَٰذِبًا وَكَذَٰلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِفِرْعَوْنَ سُوٓءُ عَمَلِهِۦ وَصُدَّ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ وَمَا كَيْدُ فِرْعَوْنَ إِلَّا فِى تَبَابٍ

asbāba l-samāwāti fa-aṭṭaliʿa ila ilāhi mūsā wa-innī la-aẓunnuhu kādhiban wa-ka-dhālika zuyyina li-firʿawna sūu ʿamalihi wa-ṣudda ʿani l-sabīli wa-mā kaydu firʿawna illā fī tabābin

"The ways and means of (reaching) the heavens, and that I may mount up to the god of Moses: But as far as I am concerned, I think (Moses) is a liar!" Thus was made alluring, in Pharaoh's eyes, the evil of his deeds, and he was hindered from the Path; and the plot of Pharaoh led to nothing but perdition (for him).
