Sura al-Baqara 2:231

وَإِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ ٱلنِّسَآءَ فَبَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَأَمْسِكُوهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ سَرِّحُوهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوفٍ وَلَا تُمْسِكُوهُنَّ ضِرَارًا لِّتَعْتَدُوا۟ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ فَقَدْ ظَلَمَ نَفْسَهُۥ وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوٓا۟ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّـهِ هُزُوًا وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّـهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَمَآ أَنزَلَ عَلَيْكُم مِّنَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَٱلْحِكْمَةِ يَعِظُكُم بِهِۦ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّـهَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

wa-idhā ṭallaqtumu l-nisāʾa fa-balaghna ajalahunna fa-amsikūhunna bi-maʿrūfin aw sarriḥūhunna bi-maʿrūfin wa-lā tumsikūhunna ḍirāran la-taʿtadū wa-man yafʿal dhālika fa-qad ẓalama nafsahu wa-lā tattakhidhū āyāti allāhi huzuwan wa-idhkurū niʿmata allāhi ʿalaykum wa-mā anzala ʿalaykum mina l-kitābi wa-l-ḥikmati yaʿiẓukum bihi wa-ittaqū allāha wa-iʿlamū annā allāha bi-kulli shayʾin ʿalīmun

When ye divorce women, and they fulfil the term of their ('Iddat), either take them back on equitable terms or set them free on equitable terms; but do not take them back to injure them, (or) to take undue advantage; if any one does that; He wrongs his own soul. Do not treat Allah's Signs as a jest, but solemnly rehearse Allah's favours on you, and the fact that He sent down to you the Book and Wisdom, for your instruction. And fear Allah, and know that Allah is well acquainted with all things.

Sura al-Baqara 2:232

وَإِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ ٱلنِّسَآءَ فَبَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَلَا تَعْضُلُوهُنَّ أَن يَنكِحْنَ أَزْوَٰجَهُنَّ إِذَا تَرَٰضَوْا۟ بَيْنَهُم بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ ذَٰلِكَ يُوعَظُ بِهِۦ مَن كَانَ مِنكُمْ يُؤْمِنُ بِٱللَّـهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْأَخِرِ ذَٰلِكُمْ أَزْكَىٰ لَكُمْ وَأَطْهَرُ وَٱللَّـهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ

wa-idhā ṭallaqtumu l-nisāʾa fa-balaghna ajalahunna fa-lā taʿḍulūhunna an yankiḥna azwājahunna idhā tarāḍaw baynahum bil-maʿrūfi dhālika yūʿaẓu bihi man kāna minkum yuʾminū billāhi wa-l-yawmi l-akhiri dhālikum azka la-kum wa-aṭharu wallāhu yaʿlamu wa-antum lā taʿlamūna

When ye divorce women, and they fulfil the term of their ('Iddat), do not prevent them from marrying their (former) husbands, if they mutually agree on equitable terms. This instruction is for all amongst you, who believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is (the course Making for) most virtue and purity amongst you and Allah knows, and ye know not.

Sura al-Baqara 2:236

لَّا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِن طَلَّقْتُمُ ٱلنِّسَآءَ مَا لَمْ تَمَسُّوهُنَّ أَوْ تَفْرِضُوا۟ لَهُنَّ فَرِيضَةً وَمَتِّعُوهُنَّ عَلَى ٱلْمُوسِعِ قَدَرُهُۥ وَعَلَى ٱلْمُقْتِرِ قَدَرُهُۥ مَتَٰعًۢا بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ حَقًّا عَلَى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

lā junāḥa ʿalaykum in ṭallaqtumu l-nisāʾa mā lam tamassūhunna aw tafriḍū la-hunna farīḍatan wamattiʿūhunna ʿalā l-mūsiʿi qadaruhu wa-ʿala l-muqtiri qadaruhu matāʿan bil-maʿrūfi ḥaqqan ʿalā l-muḥsinīna

There is no blame on you if ye divorce women before consummation or the fixation of their dower; but bestow on them (A suitable gift), the wealthy according to his means, and the poor according to his means;- A gift of a reasonable amount is due from those who wish to do the right thing.

Sura al-Baqara 2:237

وَإِن طَلَّقْتُمُوهُنَّ مِن قَبْلِ أَن تَمَسُّوهُنَّ وَقَدْ فَرَضْتُمْ لَهُنَّ فَرِيضَةً فَنِصْفُ مَا فَرَضْتُمْ إِلَّآ أَن يَعْفُونَ أَوْ يَعْفُوَا۟ ٱلَّذِى بِيَدِهِۦ عُقْدَةُ ٱلنِّكَاحِ وَأَن تَعْفُوٓا۟ أَقْرَبُ لِلتَّقْوَىٰ وَلَا تَنسَوُا۟ ٱلْفَضْلَ بَيْنَكُمْ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ

wa-in ṭallaqtumūhunna min qabli an tamassūhunna wa-qad faraḍtum la-hunna farīḍatan faniṣfu mā faraḍtum illā an yaʿfūna aw yaʿfuwā alladhī bi-yadihi ʿuqdatu l-nikāḥi wa-an taʿfū aqrabu lil-taqwā wa-lā tansawu l-faḍla baynakum inna allāha bi-mā taʿmalūna baṣīrun

And if ye divorce them before consummation, but after the fixation of a dower for them, then the half of the dower (Is due to them), unless they remit it or (the man's half) is remitted by him in whose hands is the marriage tie; and the remission (of the man's half) is the nearest to righteousness. And do not forget Liberality between yourselves. For Allah sees well all that ye do.

Sura al-Aḥzāb 33:49

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِذَا نَكَحْتُمُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ ثُمَّ طَلَّقْتُمُوهُنَّ مِن قَبْلِ أَن تَمَسُّوهُنَّ فَمَا لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ عِدَّةٍ تَعْتَدُّونَهَا فَمَتِّعُوهُنَّ وَسَرِّحُوهُنَّ سَرَاحًا جَمِيلًا

yā-ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū idhā nakaḥtumu l-muʾmināti thumma ṭallaqtumūhunna min qabli an tamassūhunna fa-mā la-kum ʿalayhinna min ʿiddatin taʿtaddūnahā fa-mattiʿūhunna wa-sarriḥūhunna sarāḥan jamīlan

O ye who believe! When ye marry believing women, and then divorce them before ye have touched them, no period of 'Iddat have ye to count in respect of them: so give them a present. And set them free in a handsome manner.

Sura al-Fatḥ 48:15

سَيَقُولُ ٱلْمُخَلَّفُونَ إِذَا ٱنطَلَقْتُمْ إِلَىٰ مَغَانِمَ لِتَأْخُذُوهَا ذَرُونَا نَتَّبِعْكُمْ يُرِيدُونَ أَن يُبَدِّلُوا۟ كَلَٰمَ ٱللَّـهِ قُل لَّن تَتَّبِعُونَا كَذَٰلِكُمْ قَالَ ٱللَّـهُ مِن قَبْلُ فَسَيَقُولُونَ بَلْ تَحْسُدُونَنَا بَلْ كَانُوا۟ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا

sa-yaqūlu l-mukhallafūna idhā inṭalaqtum ilā maghānima li-taʾkhudhūhā dharūnā nattabiʿkum yurīdūna an yubaddilū kalāma allāhi qul lan tattabiʿūnā kadhālikum qalā allāhu min qablu fa-sa-yaqūlūna bal taḥsudūnanā bal kānū lā yafqahūna illā qalīlan

Those who lagged behind (will say), when ye (are free to) march and take booty (in war): "Permit us to follow you." They wish to change Allah's decree: Say: "Not thus will ye follow us: Allah has already declared (this) beforehand": then they will say, "But ye are jealous of us." Nay, but little do they understand (such things).

Sura al-Ṭalāq 65:1

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ إِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ ٱلنِّسَآءَ فَطَلِّقُوهُنَّ لِعِدَّتِهِنَّ وَأَحْصُوا۟ ٱلْعِدَّةَ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ رَبَّكُمْ لَا تُخْرِجُوهُنَّ مِنۢ بُيُوتِهِنَّ وَلَا يَخْرُجْنَ إِلَّآ أَن يَأْتِينَ بِفَٰحِشَةٍ مُّبَيِّنَةٍ وَتِلْكَ حُدُودُ ٱللَّـهِ وَمَن يَتَعَدَّ حُدُودَ ٱللَّـهِ فَقَدْ ظَلَمَ نَفْسَهُۥ لَا تَدْرِى لَعَلَّ ٱللَّـهَ يُحْدِثُ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ أَمْرًا

yā-ayyuhā l-nabiyyu idhā ṭallaqtumu l-nisāʾa fa-ṭalliqūhunna li-ʿiddatihinna wa-aḥṣū l-ʿiddata wa-ittaqū allāha rabbakum lā tukhrijūhunna min buyūtihinna wa-lā yakhrujna illā an yaʾtīna bi-fāḥishatin mubayyinatin wa-tilka ḥudūdu allāhi wa-man yataʿadda ḥudūda allāhi fa-qad ẓalama nafsahu lā tadrī laʿalla allāha yuḥdithu baʿda dhālika amran

O Prophet! When ye do divorce women, divorce them at their prescribed periods, and count (accurately), their prescribed periods: And fear Allah your Lord: and turn them not out of their houses, nor shall they (themselves) leave, except in case they are guilty of some open lewdness, those are limits set by Allah: and any who transgresses the limits of Allah, does verily wrong his (own) soul: thou knowest not if perchance Allah will bring about thereafter some new situation.

Sura al-Mursalāt 77:29

ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ

anṭaliqū ilā mā kuntum bihi tukadhdhibūna

(It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false!

Sura al-Mursalāt 77:30

ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّ ذِى ثَلَٰثِ شُعَبٍ

anṭaliqū ilā ẓillin dhī thalāthi shuʿabin

"Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns,
