Surah 6 al-Anʿām (The Cattle)

(6:151)

قُلْ  تَعَالَوْا۟  أَتْلُ  مَا  حَرَّمَ  رَبُّكُمْ  عَلَيْكُمْ  أَلَّا  تُشْرِكُوا۟  بِهِۦ  شَيْـًٔا  وَبِٱلْوَٰلِدَيْنِ  إِحْسَٰنًا  وَلَا  تَقْتُلُوٓا۟  أَوْلَٰدَكُم  مِّنْ  إِمْلَٰقٍ  نَّحْنُ  نَرْزُقُكُمْ  وَإِيَّاهُمْ  وَلَا  تَقْرَبُوا۟  ٱلْفَوَٰحِشَ  مَا  ظَهَرَ  مِنْهَا  وَمَا  بَطَنَ  وَلَا  تَقْتُلُوا۟  ٱلنَّفْسَ  ٱلَّتِى  حَرَّمَ  ٱللَّـهُ  إِلَّا  بِٱلْحَقِّ  ذَٰلِكُمْ  وَصَّىٰكُم  بِهِۦ  لَعَلَّكُمْ  تَعْقِلُونَ qul taʿālaw atlu ḥarrama rabbukum ʿalaykum allā tushrikū bihi shayʾan wa‑bil‑wālidayni iḥsānan wa‑lā taqtulū awlādakum min imlāqin nnaḥnu narzuqukum wa‑iyyāhum wa‑lā taqrabū l‑fawāḥisha ẓahara minhā wa‑mā baṭana wa‑lā taqtulū l‑nafsa allatī ḥarrama allāhu illā bil‑ḥaqqi dhālikum waṣṣakum bihi la‑ʿallakum taʿqilūna
Say: "Come, I will rehearse what Allah hath (really) prohibited you from": Join not anything as equal with Him; be good to your parents; kill not your children on a plea of want;- We provide sustenance for you and for them;- come not nigh to shameful deeds. Whether open or secret; take not life, which Allah hath made sacred, except by way of justice and law: thus doth He command you, that ye may learn wisdom.

Surah 7 al-Aʿrāf (The Heights)
(7:33)

قُلْ  إِنَّمَا  حَرَّمَ  رَبِّىَ  ٱلْفَوَٰحِشَ  مَا  ظَهَرَ  مِنْهَا  وَمَا  بَطَنَ  وَٱلْإِثْمَ  وَٱلْبَغْىَ  بِغَيْرِ  ٱلْحَقِّ  وَأَن  تُشْرِكُوا۟  بِٱللَّـهِ  مَا  لَمْ  يُنَزِّلْ  بِهِۦ  سُلْطَٰنًا  وَأَن  تَقُولُوا۟  عَلَى  ٱللَّـهِ  مَا  لَا  تَعْلَمُونَ qul innamā ḥarrama rabbiya l‑fawāḥisha ẓahara minhā wa‑mā baṭana wa‑l‑ithma wa‑l‑bagha bi‑ghayri l‑ḥaqqi wa‑an tushrikū billāhi lam yunazzil bihi sulṭānan wa‑an taqūlū ʿalā allāhi taʿlamūna
Say: the things that my Lord hath indeed forbidden are: shameful deeds, whether open or secret; sins and trespasses against truth or reason; assigning of partners to Allah, for which He hath given no authority; and saying things about Allah of which ye have no knowledge.

Surah 9 al-Tawbah (Repentance)
(9:33)

هُوَ  ٱلَّذِىٓ  أَرْسَلَ  رَسُولَهُۥ  بِٱلْهُدَىٰ  وَدِينِ  ٱلْحَقِّ  لِيُظْهِرَهُۥ  عَلَى  ٱلدِّينِ  كُلِّهِۦ  وَلَوْ  كَرِهَ  ٱلْمُشْرِكُونَ huwa alladhī arsala rasūlahu bil‑hudā wa‑dīni l‑ḥaqqi li‑yuẓhirahu ʿalā l‑dīni kullihi wa‑law kariha l‑mushrikūna
It is He Who hath sent His Messenger with guidance and the Religion of Truth, to proclaim it over all religion, even though the Pagans may detest (it).
(9:48)

لَقَدِ  ٱبْتَغَوُا۟  ٱلْفِتْنَةَ  مِن  قَبْلُ  وَقَلَّبُوا۟  لَكَ  ٱلْأُمُورَ  حَتَّىٰ  جَآءَ  ٱلْحَقُّ  وَظَهَرَ  أَمْرُ  ٱللَّـهِ  وَهُمْ  كَٰرِهُونَ laqadi ibtaghawu l‑fitnata min qablu wa‑qallabū la‑ka l‑umūra ḥattā jāa l‑ḥaqqu wa‑ẓahara amru allāhi wa‑hum kārihūna
Indeed they had plotted sedition before, and upset matters for thee, until,- the Truth arrived, and the Decree of Allah became manifest much to their disgust.

Surah 24 al-Nūr (The Light)
(24:31)

وَقُل  لِّلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ  يَغْضُضْنَ  مِنْ  أَبْصَٰرِهِنَّ  وَيَحْفَظْنَ  فُرُوجَهُنَّ  وَلَا  يُبْدِينَ  زِينَتَهُنَّ  إِلَّا  مَا  ظَهَرَ  مِنْهَا  وَلْيَضْرِبْنَ  بِخُمُرِهِنَّ  عَلَىٰ  جُيُوبِهِنَّ  وَلَا  يُبْدِينَ  زِينَتَهُنَّ  إِلَّا  لِبُعُولَتِهِنَّ  أَوْ  ءَابَآئِهِنَّ  أَوْ  ءَابَآءِ  بُعُولَتِهِنَّ  أَوْ  أَبْنَآئِهِنَّ  أَوْ  أَبْنَآءِ  بُعُولَتِهِنَّ  أَوْ  إِخْوَٰنِهِنَّ  أَوْ  بَنِىٓ  إِخْوَٰنِهِنَّ  أَوْ  بَنِىٓ  أَخَوَٰتِهِنَّ  أَوْ  نِسَآئِهِنَّ  أَوْ  مَا  مَلَكَتْ  أَيْمَٰنُهُنَّ  أَوِ  ٱلتَّٰبِعِينَ  غَيْرِ  أُو۟لِى  ٱلْإِرْبَةِ  مِنَ  ٱلرِّجَالِ  أَوِ  ٱلطِّفْلِ  ٱلَّذِينَ  لَمْ  يَظْهَرُوا۟  عَلَىٰ  عَوْرَٰتِ  ٱلنِّسَآءِ  وَلَا  يَضْرِبْنَ  بِأَرْجُلِهِنَّ  لِيُعْلَمَ  مَا  يُخْفِينَ  مِن  زِينَتِهِنَّ  وَتُوبُوٓا۟  إِلَى  ٱللَّـهِ  جَمِيعًا  أَيُّهَ  ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ  لَعَلَّكُمْ  تُفْلِحُونَ wa‑qul lil‑mumināti yaghḍuḍna min abṣārihinna wa‑yaḥfaẓna furūjahunna wa‑lā yubdīna zīnatahunna illā ẓahara minhā wa‑l‑yaḍribna bikhumurihinna ʿalā juyūbihinna wa‑lā yubdīna zīnatahunna illā li‑buʿūlatihinna aw ābāʾihinna aw ābāʾi buʿūlatihinna aw abnāʾihinna aw abnāʾi buʿūlatihinna aw ikhwānihinna aw banī ikhwānihinna aw banī akhawātihinna aw nisāʾihinna aw malakat aymānuhunna awi l‑tābiʿīna ghayri ūlī l‑irbati mina l‑rijāli awi l‑ṭifli lladhīna lam yaẓharū ʿalā ʿawrāti l‑nisāʾi wa‑lā yaḍribna biarjulihinna līuʿlama yukhfīna min zīnatihinna wa‑tūbū ilā allāhi jamīʿan ayyuha l‑muʾminūna la‑ʿallakum tufliḥūna
And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband's fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or the slaves whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O ye Believers! turn ye all together towards Allah, that ye may attain Bliss.

Surah 30 al-Rūm (The Romans)
(30:41)

ظَهَرَ  ٱلْفَسَادُ  فِى  ٱلْبَرِّ  وَٱلْبَحْرِ  بِمَا  كَسَبَتْ  أَيْدِى  ٱلنَّاسِ  لِيُذِيقَهُم  بَعْضَ  ٱلَّذِى  عَمِلُوا۟  لَعَلَّهُمْ  يَرْجِعُونَ ẓahara l‑fasādu l‑barri wa‑l‑baḥri bi‑mā kasabat aydī l‑nāsi li‑yudhīqahum baʿḍa alladhī ʿamilū la‑ʿallahum yarjiʿūna
Mischief has appeared on land and sea because of (the meed) that the hands of men have earned, that (Allah) may give them a taste of some of their deeds: in order that they may turn back (from Evil).

Surah 40 al-Ghāfir (The Forgiving One)
(40:26)

وَقَالَ  فِرْعَوْنُ  ذَرُونِىٓ  أَقْتُلْ  مُوسَىٰ  وَلْيَدْعُ  رَبَّهُۥٓ  إِنِّىٓ  أَخَافُ  أَن  يُبَدِّلَ  دِينَكُمْ  أَوْ  أَن  يُظْهِرَ  فِى  ٱلْأَرْضِ  ٱلْفَسَادَ wa‑qāla firʿawun dharūnī aqtul mūsā wa‑l‑yadʿu rabbahu innī akhāfu an yubaddila dīnakum aw an yuẓhira l‑arḍi l‑fasāda
Said Pharaoh: "Leave me to slay Moses; and let him call on his Lord! What I fear is lest he should change your religion, or lest he should cause mischief to appear in the land!"

Surah 48 al-Fatḥ (The Victory)
(48:28)

هُوَ  ٱلَّذِىٓ  أَرْسَلَ  رَسُولَهُۥ  بِٱلْهُدَىٰ  وَدِينِ  ٱلْحَقِّ  لِيُظْهِرَهُۥ  عَلَى  ٱلدِّينِ  كُلِّهِۦ  وَكَفَىٰ  بِٱللَّـهِ  شَهِيدًا huwa alladhī arsala rasūlahu bil‑hudā wa‑dīni l‑ḥaqqi li‑yuẓhirahu ʿalā l‑dīni kullihi wa‑kafā billāhi shahīdan
It is He Who has sent His Messenger with Guidance and the Religion of Truth, to proclaim it over all religion: and enough is Allah for a Witness.

Surah 61 al-Ṣaff (The Ranks)
(61:9)

هُوَ  ٱلَّذِىٓ  أَرْسَلَ  رَسُولَهُۥ  بِٱلْهُدَىٰ  وَدِينِ  ٱلْحَقِّ  لِيُظْهِرَهُۥ  عَلَى  ٱلدِّينِ  كُلِّهِۦ  وَلَوْ  كَرِهَ  ٱلْمُشْرِكُونَ huwa alladhī arsala rasūlahu bil‑hudā wa‑dīni l‑ḥaqqi li‑yuẓhirahu ʿalā l‑dīni kullihi wa‑law kariha l‑mushrikūna
It is He Who has sent His Messenger with Guidance and the Religion of Truth, that he may proclaim it over all religion, even though the Pagans may detest (it).

Surah 66 al-Taḥrīm (The Prohibition)
(66:3)

وَإِذْ  أَسَرَّ  ٱلنَّبِىُّ  إِلَىٰ  بَعْضِ  أَزْوَٰجِهِۦ  حَدِيثًا  فَلَمَّا  نَبَّأَتْ  بِهِۦ  وَأَظْهَرَهُ  ٱللَّـهُ  عَلَيْهِ  عَرَّفَ  بَعْضَهُۥ  وَأَعْرَضَ  عَنۢ  بَعْضٍ  فَلَمَّا  نَبَّأَهَا  بِهِۦ  قَالَتْ  مَنْ  أَنۢبَأَكَ  هَٰذَا  قَالَ  نَبَّأَنِىَ  ٱلْعَلِيمُ  ٱلْخَبِيرُ wa‑idh asarra l‑nabiyyu ilā baʿḍi azwājihi ḥadīthan fa‑lammā nabbaʾat bihi wa‑aẓharahu allāhu ʿalayhi ʿarrafa baʿḍahu wa‑aʿraḍa ʿan baʿḍin fa‑lammā nabbaʾahā bihi qālat man anbaʾaka hādhā qalā nabbaʾaniya l‑ʿalīmu l‑khabīru
When the Prophet disclosed a matter in confidence to one of his consorts, and she then divulged it (to another), and Allah made it known to him, he confirmed part thereof and repudiated a part. Then when he told her thereof, she said, "Who told thee this? "He said, "He told me Who knows and is well-acquainted (with all things)."

Surah 72 al-Jinn (The Jinn)
(72:26)

عَٰلِمُ  ٱلْغَيْبِ  فَلَا  يُظْهِرُ  عَلَىٰ  غَيْبِهِۦٓ  أَحَدًا ʿālimu l‑ghaybi fa‑lā yuẓhiru ʿalā ghaybihi aḥadan
"He (alone) knows the Unseen, nor does He make any one acquainted with His Mysteries,-
