Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:18

وَلَيْسَتِ ٱلتَّوْبَةُ لِلَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَهُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ قَالَ إِنِّى تُبْتُ ٱلْـَٰٔنَ وَلَا ٱلَّذِينَ يَمُوتُونَ وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا

wa-laysati l-tawbatu li-lladhīna yaʿmalūna l-sayyiʾāti ḥatta idhā ḥaḍara aḥadahumu l-mawtu qalā innī tubtu l-ana wa-lā lladhīna yamūtūna wa-hum kuffārun ulāʾika aʿtadnā lahum ʿadhāban alīman

Of no effect is the repentance of those who continue to do evil, until death faces one of them, and he says, "Now have I repented indeed;" nor of those who die rejecting Faith: for them have We prepared a punishment most grievous.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:37

ٱلَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ وَيَأْمُرُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ بِٱلْبُخْلِ وَيَكْتُمُونَ مَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّـهُ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ عَذَابًا مُّهِينًا

lladhīna yabkhalūna wa-yaʾmurūna l-nāsa bil-bukhli wa-yaktumūna mā ātahumu allāhu min faḍlihi wa-aʿtadnā lil-kāfirīna ʿadhāban muhīnan

(Nor) those who are niggardly or enjoin niggardliness on others, or hide the bounties which Allah hath bestowed on them; for We have prepared, for those who resist Faith, a punishment that steeps them in contempt;-

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:151

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ حَقًّا وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ عَذَابًا مُّهِينًا

ulāʾika humu l-kāfirūna ḥaqqan wa-aʿtadnā lil-kāfirīna ʿadhāban muhīnan

They are in truth (equally) unbelievers; and we have prepared for unbelievers a humiliating punishment.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:161

وَأَخْذِهِمُ ٱلرِّبَوٰا۟ وَقَدْ نُهُوا۟ عَنْهُ وَأَكْلِهِمْ أَمْوَٰلَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلْبَٰطِلِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ مِنْهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا

wa-akhdhihimu l-ribā wa-qad nuhū ʿanhu wa-aklihim amwāla l-nāsi bil-bāṭili wa-aʿtadnā lil-kāfirīna minhum ʿadhāban alīman

That they took usury, though they were forbidden; and that they devoured men's substance wrongfully;- we have prepared for those among them who reject faith a grievous punishment.

Sura al-Isrāʾ 17:10

وَأَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْأَخِرَةِ أَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا

wa-anna lladhīna lā yuʾminūna bil-akhirati aʿtadnā lahum ʿadhāban alīman

And to those who believe not in the Hereafter, (it announceth) that We have prepared for them a Penalty Grievous (indeed).

Sura al-Kahf 18:29

وَقُلِ ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ فَمَن شَآءَ فَلْيُؤْمِن وَمَن شَآءَ فَلْيَكْفُرْ إِنَّآ أَعْتَدْنَا لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ نَارًا أَحَاطَ بِهِمْ سُرَادِقُهَا وَإِن يَسْتَغِيثُوا۟ يُغَاثُوا۟ بِمَآءٍ كَٱلْمُهْلِ يَشْوِى ٱلْوُجُوهَ بِئْسَ ٱلشَّرَابُ وَسَآءَتْ مُرْتَفَقًا

wa-quli l-ḥaqqu min rabbikum fa-man shāʾa fa-l-yuʾmin wa-man shāʾa fa-l-yakfur innā aʿtadnā lil-ẓālimīna nāran aḥāṭa bihim surādiquhā wa-in yastaghīthū yughāthū bi-māʾin ka-l-muhli yashwī l-wujūha biʾsa l-sharābu wa-sāʾat murtafaqan

Say, "The truth is from your Lord": Let him who will believe, and let him who will, reject (it): for the wrong-doers We have prepared a Fire whose (smoke and flames), like the walls and roof of a tent, will hem them in: if they implore relief they will be granted water like melted brass, that will scald their faces, how dreadful the drink! How uncomfortable a couch to recline on!

Sura al-Kahf 18:102

أَفَحَسِبَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَن يَتَّخِذُوا۟ عِبَادِى مِن دُونِىٓ أَوْلِيَآءَ إِنَّآ أَعْتَدْنَا جَهَنَّمَ لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ نُزُلًا

afaḥasiba lladhīna kafarū an yattakhidhū ʿibādī min dūnī awliyāʾa innā aʿtadnā jahannama lil-kāfirīna nuzulan

Do the Unbelievers think that they can take My servants as protectors besides Me? Verily We have prepared Hell for the Unbelievers for (their) entertainment.

Sura al-Furqān 25:11

بَلْ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِٱلسَّاعَةِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِمَن كَذَّبَ بِٱلسَّاعَةِ سَعِيرًا

bal kadhdhabū bil-sāʿati wa-aʿtadnā li-man kadhdhaba bil-sāʿati saʿīran

Nay they deny the hour (of the judgment to come): but We have prepared a blazing fire for such as deny the hour:

Sura al-Furqān 25:37

وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ لَّمَّا كَذَّبُوا۟ ٱلرُّسُلَ أَغْرَقْنَٰهُمْ وَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ لِلنَّاسِ ءَايَةً وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا

wa-qawma nūḥin llammā kadhdhabū l-rusula aghraqnāhum wa-jaʿalnāhum lil-nāsi āyatan wa-aʿtadnā lil-ẓālimīna ʿadhāban alīman

And the people of Noah,- when they rejected the messengers, We drowned them, and We made them as a Sign for mankind; and We have prepared for (all) wrong-doers a grievous Penalty;-

Sura al-Aḥzāb 33:31

وَمَن يَقْنُتْ مِنكُنَّ لِلَّـهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَتَعْمَلْ صَٰلِحًا نُّؤْتِهَآ أَجْرَهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهَا رِزْقًا كَرِيمًا

wa-man yaqnut minkunna lillāhi wa-rasūlihi wa-taʿmal ṣāliḥan nuʾtihā ajrahā marratayni wa-aʿtadnā lahā rizqan karīman

But any of you that is devout in the service of Allah and His Messenger, and works righteousness,- to her shall We grant her reward twice: and We have prepared for her a generous Sustenance.

Sura al-Fatḥ 48:13

وَمَن لَّمْ يُؤْمِنۢ بِٱللَّـهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ فَإِنَّآ أَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ سَعِيرًا

wa-man lam yuʾmin billāhi wa-rasūlihi fainnā aʿtadnā lil-kāfirīna saʿīran

And if any believe not in Allah and His Messenger, We have prepared, for those who reject Allah, a Blazing Fire!

Sura al-Mulk 67:5

وَلَقَدْ زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِمَصَٰبِيحَ وَجَعَلْنَٰهَا رُجُومًا لِّلشَّيَٰطِينِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابَ ٱلسَّعِيرِ

wa-la-qad zayyannā l-samāʾa l-dunyā bi-maṣābīḥa wa-jaʿalnāhā rujūman lil-shayāṭīni wa-aʿtadnā lahum ʿadhāba l-saʿīri

And we have, (from of old), adorned the lowest heaven with Lamps, and We have made such (Lamps) (as) missiles to drive away the Evil Ones, and have prepared for them the Penalty of the Blazing Fire.

Sura al-Insān 76:4

إِنَّآ أَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ سَلَٰسِلَا۟ وَأَغْلَٰلًا وَسَعِيرًا

innā aʿtadnā lil-kāfirīna salāsilā wa-aghlālan wa-saʿīran

For the Rejecters we have prepared chains, yokes, and a blazing Fire.
