Sura al-Baqara 2:25

وَبَشِّرِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ كُلَّمَا رُزِقُوا۟ مِنْهَا مِن ثَمَرَةٍ رِّزْقًا قَالُوا۟ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى رُزِقْنَا مِن قَبْلُ وَأُتُوا۟ بِهِۦ مُتَشَٰبِهًا وَلَهُمْ فِيهَآ أَزْوَٰجٌ مُّطَهَّرَةٌ وَهُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ

wa-bashshiri lladhīna āmanū wa-ʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti annā lahum jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru kullamā ruziqū minhā min thamaratin rizqan qālū hādhā alladhī ruziqnā min qablu wa-utū bihi mutashābihan wa-lahum fīhā azwājun muṭahharatun wa-hum fīhā khālidūna

But give glad tidings to those who believe and work righteousness, that their portion is Gardens, beneath which rivers flow. Every time they are fed with fruits therefrom, they say: "Why, this is what we were fed with before," for they are given things in similitude; and they have therein companions pure (and holy); and they abide therein (for ever).

Sura al-Baqara 2:62

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَٱلَّذِينَ هَادُوا۟ وَٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ وَٱلصَّٰبِـِٔينَ مَنْ ءَامَنَ بِٱللَّـهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْأَخِرِ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحًا فَلَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ

inna lladhīna āmanū wa-lladhīna hādū wa-l-naṣārā wa-l-ṣābiʾīna man āmana billāhi wa-l-yawmi l-akhiri wa-ʿamila ṣāliḥan fa-lahum ajruhum ʿinda rabbihim wa-lā khawfun ʿalayhim wa-lā hum yaḥzanūna

Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

Sura al-Baqara 2:74

ثُمَّ قَسَتْ قُلُوبُكُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ فَهِىَ كَٱلْحِجَارَةِ أَوْ أَشَدُّ قَسْوَةً وَإِنَّ مِنَ ٱلْحِجَارَةِ لَمَا يَتَفَجَّرُ مِنْهُ ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ وَإِنَّ مِنْهَا لَمَا يَشَّقَّقُ فَيَخْرُجُ مِنْهُ ٱلْمَآءُ وَإِنَّ مِنْهَا لَمَا يَهْبِطُ مِنْ خَشْيَةِ ٱللَّـهِ وَمَا ٱللَّـهُ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ

thumma qasat qulūbukum min baʿdi dhālika fahiya ka-l-ḥijārati aw ashaddu qaswatan wa-inna mina l-ḥijārati lamā yatafajjaru minhu l-anhāru wa-inna minhā lamā yashshaqqaqu fa-yakhruju minhu l-māʾu wa-inna minhā lamā yahbiṭu min khashyati allāhi wa-mā allāhu bi-ghāfilin ʿammā taʿmalūna

Thenceforth were your hearts hardened: They became like a rock and even worse in hardness. For among rocks there are some from which rivers gush forth; others there are which when split asunder send forth water; and others which sink for fear of Allah. And Allah is not unmindful of what ye do.

Sura al-Baqara 2:82

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْجَنَّةِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ

wa-lladhīna āmanū wa-ʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti ulāʾika aṣḥābu l-jannati hum fīhā khālidūna

But those who have faith and work righteousness, they are companions of the Garden: Therein shall they abide (For ever).

Sura al-Baqara 2:85

ثُمَّ أَنتُمْ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ تَقْتُلُونَ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَتُخْرِجُونَ فَرِيقًا مِّنكُم مِّن دِيَٰرِهِمْ تَظَٰهَرُونَ عَلَيْهِم بِٱلْإِثْمِ وَٱلْعُدْوَٰنِ وَإِن يَأْتُوكُمْ أُسَٰرَىٰ تُفَٰدُوهُمْ وَهُوَ مُحَرَّمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ إِخْرَاجُهُمْ أَفَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِبَعْضِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَتَكْفُرُونَ بِبَعْضٍ فَمَا جَزَآءُ مَن يَفْعَلُ ذَٰلِكَ مِنكُمْ إِلَّا خِزْىٌ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَيَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ يُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰٓ أَشَدِّ ٱلْعَذَابِ وَمَا ٱللَّـهُ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ

thumma antum hāʾulāʾi taqtulūna anfusakum wa-tukhrijūna farīqan minkum min diyārihim taẓāharūna ʿalayhim bi-l-ithmi wa-l-ʿudwāni wa-in yatūkum usāra tufādūhum wa-huwa muḥarramun ʿalaykum ikhrājuhum a-fa-tuʾminūna bi-baʿḍi l-kitābi wa-takfurūna bi-baʿḍin fa-mā jazāʾu man yafʿalu dhālika minkum illā khizun fī l-ḥayāti l-dunyā wa-yawma l-qiyāmati yuraddūna ila ashaddi l-ʿadhābi wa-mā allāhu bi-ghāfilin ʿammā taʿmalūna

After this it is ye, the same people, who slay among yourselves, and banish a party of you from their homes; assist (Their enemies) against them, in guilt and rancour; and if they come to you as captives, ye ransom them, though it was not lawful for you to banish them. Then is it only a part of the Book that ye believe in, and do ye reject the rest? but what is the reward for those among you who behave like this but disgrace in this life?- and on the Day of Judgment they shall be consigned to the most grievous penalty. For Allah is not unmindful of what ye do.

Sura al-Baqara 2:96

وَلَتَجِدَنَّهُمْ أَحْرَصَ ٱلنَّاسِ عَلَىٰ حَيَوٰةٍ وَمِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا۟ يَوَدُّ أَحَدُهُمْ لَوْ يُعَمَّرُ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ وَمَا هُوَ بِمُزَحْزِحِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ أَن يُعَمَّرَ وَٱللَّـهُ بَصِيرٌۢ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ

wa-la-tajidannahum aḥraṣa l-nāsi ʿalā ḥayāwtin wa-mina lladhīna ashrakū yawaddu aḥaduhum law yuʿammaru alfa sanatin wa-mā huwa bi-muzaḥziḥihi mina l-ʿadhābi an yuʿammara wallāhu baṣīrun bi-mā yaʿmalūna

Thou wilt indeed find them, of all people, most greedy of life,-even more than the idolaters: Each one of them wishes He could be given a life of a thousand years: But the grant of such life will not save him from (due) punishment. For Allah sees well all that they do.

Sura al-Baqara 2:110

وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوا۟ لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ ٱللَّـهِ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ

wa-aqīmū l-ṣalāta wa-ātū l-zakāta wa-mā tuqaddimū li-anfusikum min khayrin tajidūhu ʿinda allāhi inna allāha bi-mā taʿmalūna baṣīrun

And be steadfast in prayer and regular in charity: And whatever good ye send forth for your souls before you, ye shall find it with Allah: for Allah sees Well all that ye do.

Sura al-Baqara 2:134

تِلْكَ أُمَّةٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُم مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ وَلَا تُسْـَٔلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

tilka ummatun qad khalat lahā mā kasabat wa-lakum mā kasabtum wa-lā tusʾalūna ʿammā kānū yaʿmalūna

That was a people that hath passed away. They shall reap the fruit of what they did, and ye of what ye do! Of their merits there is no question in your case!

Sura al-Baqara 2:140

أَمْ تَقُولُونَ إِنَّ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمَ وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ وَإِسْحَٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَٱلْأَسْبَاطَ كَانُوا۟ هُودًا أَوْ نَصَٰرَىٰ قُلْ ءَأَنتُمْ أَعْلَمُ أَمِ ٱللَّـهُ وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن كَتَمَ شَهَٰدَةً عِندَهُۥ مِنَ ٱللَّـهِ وَمَا ٱللَّـهُ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ

am taqūlūna inna ibrāhīma wa-ismāʿīla wa-isḥāqa wa-yaʿqūba wa-l-asbāṭa kānū hūdan aw naṣārā qul aʾantum aʿlamu ami allāhu wa-man aẓlamu mimman katama shahādatan ʿindahu mina allāhi wa-mā allāhu bi-ghāfilin ʿammā taʿmalūna

Or do ye say that Abraham, Isma'il Isaac, Jacob and the Tribes were Jews or Christians? Say: Do ye know better than Allah? Ah! who is more unjust than those who conceal the testimony they have from Allah? but Allah is not unmindful of what ye do!

Sura al-Baqara 2:141

تِلْكَ أُمَّةٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُم مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ وَلَا تُسْـَٔلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

tilka ummatun qad khalat lahā mā kasabat wa-lakum mā kasabtum wa-lā tusʾalūna ʿammā kānū yaʿmalūna

That was a people that hath passed away. They shall reap the fruit of what they did, and ye of what ye do! Of their merits there is no question in your case:

Sura al-Baqara 2:144

قَدْ نَرَىٰ تَقَلُّبَ وَجْهِكَ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَلَنُوَلِّيَنَّكَ قِبْلَةً تَرْضَىٰهَا فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ وَحَيْثُ مَا كُنتُمْ فَوَلُّوا۟ وُجُوهَكُمْ شَطْرَهُۥ وَإِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ لَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ وَمَا ٱللَّـهُ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا يَعْمَلُونَ

qad narā taqalluba wajhika fī l-samāʾi fa-la-nuwalliyannaka qiblatan tarḍahā fa-walli wajhaka shaṭra l-masjidi l-ḥarāmi waḥaythu mā kuntum fa-wallū wujūhakum shaṭrahu wa-inna lladhīna ūtū l-kitāba layaʿlamūna annahu l-ḥaqqu min rabbihim wa-mā allāhu bi-ghāfilin ʿammā yaʿmalūna

We see the turning of thy face (for guidance to the heavens: now Shall We turn thee to a Qibla that shall please thee. Turn then Thy face in the direction of the sacred Mosque: Wherever ye are, turn your faces in that direction. The people of the Book know well that that is the truth from their Lord. Nor is Allah unmindful of what they do.

Sura al-Baqara 2:149

وَمِنْ حَيْثُ خَرَجْتَ فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ وَمَا ٱللَّـهُ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ

wa-min ḥaythu kharajta fa-walli wajhaka shaṭra l-masjidi l-ḥarāmi wa-innahu lal-ḥaqqu min rabbika wa-mā allāhu bi-ghāfilin ʿammā taʿmalūna

From whencesoever Thou startest forth, turn Thy face in the direction of the sacred Mosque; that is indeed the truth from the Lord. And Allah is not unmindful of what ye do.

Sura al-Baqara 2:233

وَٱلْوَٰلِدَٰتُ يُرْضِعْنَ أَوْلَٰدَهُنَّ حَوْلَيْنِ كَامِلَيْنِ لِمَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يُتِمَّ ٱلرَّضَاعَةَ وَعَلَى ٱلْمَوْلُودِ لَهُۥ رِزْقُهُنَّ وَكِسْوَتُهُنَّ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ لَا تُكَلَّفُ نَفْسٌ إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا لَا تُضَآرَّ وَٰلِدَةٌۢ بِوَلَدِهَا وَلَا مَوْلُودٌ لَّهُۥ بِوَلَدِهِۦ وَعَلَى ٱلْوَارِثِ مِثْلُ ذَٰلِكَ فَإِنْ أَرَادَا فِصَالًا عَن تَرَاضٍ مِّنْهُمَا وَتَشَاوُرٍ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَا وَإِنْ أَرَدتُّمْ أَن تَسْتَرْضِعُوٓا۟ أَوْلَٰدَكُمْ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذَا سَلَّمْتُم مَّآ ءَاتَيْتُم بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّـهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ

wal-wālidātu yurḍiʿna awlādahunna ḥawlayni kāmilayni liman arāda an yutimma l-raḍāʿata wa-ʿalā l-mawlūdi lahu rizquhunna wa-kiswatuhunna bil-maʿrūfi lā tukallafu nafsun illā wusʿahā lā tuḍārra wālidatun bi-waladihā wa-lā mawlūdun lahu bi-waladihi wa-ʿala l-wārithi mithlu dhālika fa-in arādā fiṣālan ʿan tarāḍin minhumā wa-tashāwurin fa-lā junāḥa ʿalayhimā wa-in aradttum an tastarḍiʿū awlādakum fa-lā junāḥa ʿalaykum idhā sallamtum mā ātaytum bil-maʿrūfi wattaqū allāha wa-iʿlamū annā allāha bi-mā taʿmalūna baṣīrun

The mothers shall give such to their offspring for two whole years, if the father desires to complete the term. But he shall bear the cost of their food and clothing on equitable terms. No soul shall have a burden laid on it greater than it can bear. No mother shall be Treated unfairly on account of her child. Nor father on account of his child, an heir shall be chargeable in the same way. If they both decide on weaning, by mutual consent, and after due consultation, there is no blame on them. If ye decide on a foster-mother for your offspring, there is no blame on you, provided ye pay (the mother) what ye offered, on equitable terms. But fear Allah and know that Allah sees well what ye do.

Sura al-Baqara 2:234

وَٱلَّذِينَ يُتَوَفَّوْنَ مِنكُمْ وَيَذَرُونَ أَزْوَٰجًا يَتَرَبَّصْنَ بِأَنفُسِهِنَّ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا فَإِذَا بَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيمَا فَعَلْنَ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِنَّ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَٱللَّـهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ

wa-lladhīna yutawaffawna minkum wa-yadharūna azwājan yatarabbaṣna bi-anfusihinna arbaʿata ashhurin wa-ʿashran fa-idhā balaghna ajalahunna fa-lā junāḥa ʿalaykum fī-mā faʿalna fī anfusihinna bil-maʿrūfi wallāhu bi-mā taʿmalūna khabīrun

If any of you die and leave widows behind, they shall wait concerning themselves four months and ten days: When they have fulfilled their term, there is no blame on you if they dispose of themselves in a just and reasonable manner. And Allah is well acquainted with what ye do.

Sura al-Baqara 2:237

وَإِن طَلَّقْتُمُوهُنَّ مِن قَبْلِ أَن تَمَسُّوهُنَّ وَقَدْ فَرَضْتُمْ لَهُنَّ فَرِيضَةً فَنِصْفُ مَا فَرَضْتُمْ إِلَّآ أَن يَعْفُونَ أَوْ يَعْفُوَا۟ ٱلَّذِى بِيَدِهِۦ عُقْدَةُ ٱلنِّكَاحِ وَأَن تَعْفُوٓا۟ أَقْرَبُ لِلتَّقْوَىٰ وَلَا تَنسَوُا۟ ٱلْفَضْلَ بَيْنَكُمْ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ

wa-in ṭallaqtumūhunna min qabli an tamassūhunna wa-qad faraḍtum la-hunna farīḍatan faniṣfu mā faraḍtum illā an yaʿfūna aw yaʿfuwā alladhī bi-yadihi ʿuqdatu l-nikāḥi wa-an taʿfū aqrabu lil-taqwā wa-lā tansawu l-faḍla baynakum inna allāha bi-mā taʿmalūna baṣīrun

And if ye divorce them before consummation, but after the fixation of a dower for them, then the half of the dower (Is due to them), unless they remit it or (the man's half) is remitted by him in whose hands is the marriage tie; and the remission (of the man's half) is the nearest to righteousness. And do not forget Liberality between yourselves. For Allah sees well all that ye do.

Sura al-Baqara 2:265

وَمَثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَٰلَهُمُ ٱبْتِغَآءَ مَرْضَاتِ ٱللَّـهِ وَتَثْبِيتًا مِّنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ كَمَثَلِ جَنَّةٍۭ بِرَبْوَةٍ أَصَابَهَا وَابِلٌ فَـَٔاتَتْ أُكُلَهَا ضِعْفَيْنِ فَإِن لَّمْ يُصِبْهَا وَابِلٌ فَطَلٌّ وَٱللَّـهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ

wa-mathalu lladhīna yunfiqūna amwālahumu ibtighāʾa marḍāti allāhi wa-tathbītan min anfusihim ka-mathali jannatin bi-rabwatin aṣābahā wābilun fa-ātat ukulahā ḍiʿfayni fa-in lam yuṣibhā wābilun fa-ṭallun wallāhu bi-mā taʿmalūna baṣīrun

And the likeness of those who spend their substance, seeking to please Allah and to strengthen their souls, is as a garden, high and fertile: heavy rain falls on it but makes it yield a double increase of harvest, and if it receives not Heavy rain, light moisture sufficeth it. Allah seeth well whatever ye do.

Sura al-Baqara 2:271

إِن تُبْدُوا۟ ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ فَنِعِمَّا هِىَ وَإِن تُخْفُوهَا وَتُؤْتُوهَا ٱلْفُقَرَآءَ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ وَيُكَفِّرُ عَنكُم مِّن سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمْ وَٱللَّـهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ

in tubdū l-ṣadaqāti fa-niʿimmā hiya wa-in tukhfūhā wa-tuʾtūhā l-fuqarāʾa fa-huwa khayrun la-kum wa-yukaffiru ʿankum min sayyiʾātikum wallāhu bi-mā taʿmalūna khabīrun

If ye disclose (acts of) charity, even so it is well, but if ye conceal them, and make them reach those (really) in need, that is best for you: It will remove from you some of your (stains of) evil. And Allah is well acquainted with what ye do.

Sura al-Baqara 2:277

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَأَقَامُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتَوُا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ لَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ

inna lladhīna āmanū wa-ʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti wa-aqāmū l-ṣalāta wa-ātawu l-zakāta lahum ajruhum ʿinda rabbihim wa-lā khawfun ʿalayhim wa-lā hum yaḥzanūna

Those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, and establish regular prayers and regular charity, will have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

Sura al-Baqara 2:283

وَإِن كُنتُمْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ وَلَمْ تَجِدُوا۟ كَاتِبًا فَرِهَٰنٌ مَّقْبُوضَةٌ فَإِنْ أَمِنَ بَعْضُكُم بَعْضًا فَلْيُؤَدِّ ٱلَّذِى ٱؤْتُمِنَ أَمَٰنَتَهُۥ وَلْيَتَّقِ ٱللَّـهَ رَبَّهُۥ وَلَا تَكْتُمُوا۟ ٱلشَّهَٰدَةَ وَمَن يَكْتُمْهَا فَإِنَّهُۥٓ ءَاثِمٌ قَلْبُهُۥ وَٱللَّـهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ عَلِيمٌ

wa-in kuntum ʿalā safarin wa-lam tajidū kātiban farihānun maqbūḍatun fa-in amina baʿḍukum baʿḍan fa-l-yuʾaddi alladhī iʾtumina amānatahu wa-l-yattaqi allāha rabbahu wa-lā taktumū l-shahādata wa-man yaktumhā fainnahu āthimun qalbuhu wallāhu bi-mā taʿmalūna ʿalīmun

If ye are on a journey, and cannot find a scribe, a pledge with possession (may serve the purpose). And if one of you deposits a thing on trust with another, Let the trustee (Faithfully) discharge His trust, and let him fear his Lord. Conceal not evidence; for whoever conceals it,- His heart is tainted with sin. And Allah Knoweth all that ye do.

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:30

يَوْمَ تَجِدُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ مُّحْضَرًا وَمَا عَمِلَتْ مِن سُوٓءٍ تَوَدُّ لَوْ أَنَّ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَهُۥٓ أَمَدًۢا بَعِيدًا وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ ٱللَّـهُ نَفْسَهُۥ وَٱللَّـهُ رَءُوفٌۢ بِٱلْعِبَادِ

yawma tajidu kullu nafsin mā ʿamilat min khayrin muḥḍaran wa-mā ʿamilat min sūʾin tawaddu law annā baynahā wa-baynahu amadan baʿīdan wa-yuḥadhdhirukumu allāhu nafsahu wallāhu raʾūfun bil-ʿibādi

"On the Day when every soul will be confronted with all the good it has done, and all the evil it has done, it will wish there were a great distance between it and its evil. But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself. And Allah is full of kindness to those that serve Him."

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:57

وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَيُوَفِّيهِمْ أُجُورَهُمْ وَٱللَّـهُ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

wa-ammā lladhīna āmanū wa-ʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti fa-yuwaffīhim ujūrahum wallāhu lā yuḥibbu l-ẓālimīna

"As to those who believe and work righteousness, Allah will pay them (in full) their reward; but Allah loveth not those who do wrong."

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:98

قُلْ يَٰٓأَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لِمَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّـهِ وَٱللَّـهُ شَهِيدٌ عَلَىٰ مَا تَعْمَلُونَ

qul yāʾahla l-kitābi lima takfurūna bi-āyāti allāhi wallāhu shahīdun ʿalā mā taʿmalūna

Say: "O People of the Book! Why reject ye the Signs of Allah, when Allah is Himself witness to all ye do?"

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:99

قُلْ يَٰٓأَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لِمَ تَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّـهِ مَنْ ءَامَنَ تَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا وَأَنتُمْ شُهَدَآءُ وَمَا ٱللَّـهُ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ

qul yāʾahla l-kitābi lima taṣuddūna ʿan sabīli allāhi man āmana tabghūnahā ʿiwajan wa-antum shuhadāʾu wa-mā allāhu bi-ghāfilin ʿammā taʿmalūna

Say: "O ye People of the Book! Why obstruct ye those who believe, from the path of Allah, Seeking to make it crooked, while ye were yourselves witnesses (to Allah's Covenant)? but Allah is not unmindful of all that ye do."

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:120

إِن تَمْسَسْكُمْ حَسَنَةٌ تَسُؤْهُمْ وَإِن تُصِبْكُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ يَفْرَحُوا۟ بِهَا وَإِن تَصْبِرُوا۟ وَتَتَّقُوا۟ لَا يَضُرُّكُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَيْـًٔا إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطٌ

in tamsaskum ḥasanatun tasuʾhum wa-in tuṣibkum sayyiʾatun yafraḥū bihā wa-in taṣbirū wa-tattaqū lā yaḍurrukum kayduhum shayʾan inna allāha bi-mā yaʿmalūna muḥīṭun

If aught that is good befalls you, it grieves them; but if some misfortune overtakes you, they rejoice at it. But if ye are constant and do right, not the least harm will their cunning do to you; for Allah Compasseth round about all that they do.

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:153

إِذْ تُصْعِدُونَ وَلَا تَلْوُۥنَ عَلَىٰٓ أَحَدٍ وَٱلرَّسُولُ يَدْعُوكُمْ فِىٓ أُخْرَىٰكُمْ فَأَثَٰبَكُمْ غَمًّۢا بِغَمٍّ لِّكَيْلَا تَحْزَنُوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلَا مَآ أَصَٰبَكُمْ وَٱللَّـهُ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ

idh tuṣʿidūna wa-lā talwuna ʿala aḥadin wal-rasūlu yadʿūkum fī ukhrakum faathābakum ghamman bi-ghammin llikaylā taḥzanū ʿalā mā fātakum wa-lā mā aṣābakum wallāhu khabīrun bi-mā taʿmalūna

Behold! ye were climbing up the high ground, without even casting a side glance at any one, and the Messenger in your rear was calling you back. There did Allah give you one distress after another by way of requital, to teach you not to grieve for (the booty) that had escaped you and for (the ill) that had befallen you. For Allah is well aware of all that ye do.

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:156

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَقَالُوا۟ لِإِخْوَٰنِهِمْ إِذَا ضَرَبُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أَوْ كَانُوا۟ غُزًّى لَّوْ كَانُوا۟ عِندَنَا مَا مَاتُوا۟ وَمَا قُتِلُوا۟ لِيَجْعَلَ ٱللَّـهُ ذَٰلِكَ حَسْرَةً فِى قُلُوبِهِمْ وَٱللَّـهُ يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ وَٱللَّـهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ

yā-ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū lā takūnū kalladhīna kafarū wa-qālū li-ikhwānihim idhā ḍarabū fī l-arḍi aw kānū ghuzzan law kānū ʿindanā mā mātū wa-mā qutilū li-yajʿala allāhu dhālika ḥasratan fī qulūbihim wallāhu yuḥyi wa-yumītu wallāhu bi-mā taʿmalūna baṣīrun

O ye who believe! Be not like the Unbelievers, who say of their brethren, when they are travelling through the Earth or engaged in fighting: "If they had stayed with us, they would not have died, or been slain." This that Allah may make it a cause of sighs and regrets in their hearts. It is Allah that gives Life and Death, and Allah sees well all that ye do.

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:163

هُمْ دَرَجَٰتٌ عِندَ ٱللَّـهِ وَٱللَّـهُ بَصِيرٌۢ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ

hum darajātun ʿinda allāhi wallāhu baṣīrun bi-mā yaʿmalūna

They are in varying grades in the sight of Allah, and Allah sees well all that they do.

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:180

وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ بِمَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّـهُ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ هُوَ خَيْرًا لَّهُم بَلْ هُوَ شَرٌّ لَّهُمْ سَيُطَوَّقُونَ مَا بَخِلُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ وَلِلَّەِ مِيرَٰثُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱللَّـهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ

wa-lā yaḥsabanna lladhīna yabkhalūna bimā ātahumu allāhu min faḍlihi huwa khayran lahum bal huwa sharrun lahum sa-yuṭawwaqūna mā bakhilū bihi yawma l-qiyāmati wa-lillahi mīrāthu l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍi wallāhu bi-mā taʿmalūna khabīrun

And let not those who covetously withhold of the gifts which Allah Hath given them of His Grace, think that it is good for them: Nay, it will be the worse for them: soon shall the things which they covetously withheld be tied to their necks Like a twisted collar, on the Day of Judgment. To Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:17

إِنَّمَا ٱلتَّوْبَةُ عَلَى ٱللَّـهِ لِلَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ ٱلسُّوٓءَ بِجَهَٰلَةٍ ثُمَّ يَتُوبُونَ مِن قَرِيبٍ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يَتُوبُ ٱللَّـهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَكَانَ ٱللَّـهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا

innamā l-tawbatu ʿalā allāhi li-lladhīna yaʿmalūna l-sūa bi-jahālatin thumma yatūbūna min qarībin fa-ūlāʾika yatūbu allāhu ʿalayhim wa-kāna allāhu ʿalīman ḥakīman

Allah accept the repentance of those who do evil in ignorance and repent soon afterwards; to them will Allah turn in mercy: For Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:18

وَلَيْسَتِ ٱلتَّوْبَةُ لِلَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَهُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ قَالَ إِنِّى تُبْتُ ٱلْـَٰٔنَ وَلَا ٱلَّذِينَ يَمُوتُونَ وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا

wa-laysati l-tawbatu li-lladhīna yaʿmalūna l-sayyiʾāti ḥatta idhā ḥaḍara aḥadahumu l-mawtu qalā innī tubtu l-ana wa-lā lladhīna yamūtūna wa-hum kuffārun ulāʾika aʿtadnā lahum ʿadhāban alīman

Of no effect is the repentance of those who continue to do evil, until death faces one of them, and he says, "Now have I repented indeed;" nor of those who die rejecting Faith: for them have We prepared a punishment most grievous.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:57

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ سَنُدْخِلُهُمْ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا لَّهُمْ فِيهَآ أَزْوَٰجٌ مُّطَهَّرَةٌ وَنُدْخِلُهُمْ ظِلًّا ظَلِيلًا

wa-lladhīna āmanū wa-ʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti sa-nudkhiluhum jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru khālidīna fīhā abadan lahum fīhā azwājun muṭahharatun wa-nudkhiluhum ẓillan ẓalīlan

But those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, We shall soon admit to Gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,- their eternal home: Therein shall they have companions pure and holy: We shall admit them to shades, cool and ever deepening.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:94

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِذَا ضَرَبْتُمْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّـهِ فَتَبَيَّنُوا۟ وَلَا تَقُولُوا۟ لِمَنْ أَلْقَىٰٓ إِلَيْكُمُ ٱلسَّلَٰمَ لَسْتَ مُؤْمِنًا تَبْتَغُونَ عَرَضَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا فَعِندَ ٱللَّـهِ مَغَانِمُ كَثِيرَةٌ كَذَٰلِكَ كُنتُم مِّن قَبْلُ فَمَنَّ ٱللَّـهُ عَلَيْكُمْ فَتَبَيَّنُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا

yā-ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū idhā ḍarabtum fī sabīli allāhi fa-tabayyanū wa-lā taqūlū liman alqā ilaykumu l-salāma lasta muʾminan tabtaghūna ʿaraḍa l-ḥayāti l-dunyā fa-ʿinda allāhi maghānimu kathīratun ka-dhālika kuntum min qablu famanna allāhu ʿalaykum fa-tabayyanū inna allāha kāna bi-mā taʿmalūna khabīran

O ye who believe! When ye go abroad in the cause of Allah, investigate carefully, and say not to any one who offers you a salutation: "Thou art none of a believer!" Coveting the perishable goods of this life: with Allah are profits and spoils abundant. Even thus were ye yourselves before, till Allah conferred on you His favours: Therefore carefully investigate. For Allah is well aware of all that ye do.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:108

يَسْتَخْفُونَ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَا يَسْتَخْفُونَ مِنَ ٱللَّـهِ وَهُوَ مَعَهُمْ إِذْ يُبَيِّتُونَ مَا لَا يَرْضَىٰ مِنَ ٱلْقَوْلِ وَكَانَ ٱللَّـهُ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطًا

yastakhfūna mina l-nāsi wa-lā yastakhfūna mina allāhi wa-huwa maʿahum idh yubayyitūna mā lā yarḍā mina l-qawli wa-kāna allāhu bi-mā yaʿmalūna muḥīṭan

They may hide (Their crimes) from men, but they cannot hide (Them) from Allah, seeing that He is in their midst when they plot by night, in words that He cannot approve: And Allah Doth compass round all that they do.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:110

وَمَن يَعْمَلْ سُوٓءًا أَوْ يَظْلِمْ نَفْسَهُۥ ثُمَّ يَسْتَغْفِرِ ٱللَّـهَ يَجِدِ ٱللَّـهَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا

wa-man yaʿmal sūʾan aw yaẓlim nafsahu thumma yastaghfiri allāha yajidi allāha ghafūran raḥīman

If any one does evil or wrongs his own soul but afterwards seeks Allah's forgiveness, he will find Allah Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:122

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ سَنُدْخِلُهُمْ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا وَعْدَ ٱللَّـهِ حَقًّا وَمَنْ أَصْدَقُ مِنَ ٱللَّـهِ قِيلًا

wa-lladhīna āmanū wa-ʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti sa-nudkhiluhum jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru khālidīna fīhā abadan waʿda allāhi ḥaqqan wa-man aṣdaqu mina allāhi qīlan

But those who believe and do deeds of righteousness,- we shall soon admit them to gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,-to dwell therein for ever. Allah's promise is the truth, and whose word can be truer than Allah's?

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:123

لَّيْسَ بِأَمَانِيِّكُمْ وَلَآ أَمَانِىِّ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مَن يَعْمَلْ سُوٓءًا يُجْزَ بِهِۦ وَلَا يَجِدْ لَهُۥ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّـهِ وَلِيًّا وَلَا نَصِيرًا

laysa bi-amāniyyikum wa-lā amāniyyi ahli l-kitābi man yaʿmal sūʾan yujzā bihi wa-lā yajid lahu min dūni allāhi waliyyan wa-lā naṣīran

Not your desires, nor those of the People of the Book (can prevail): whoever works evil, will be requited accordingly. Nor will he find, besides Allah, any protector or helper.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:124

وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ مِن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يَدْخُلُونَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ وَلَا يُظْلَمُونَ نَقِيرًا

wa-man yaʿmal mina l-ṣāliḥāti min dhakarin aw unthā wa-huwa muʾminun fa-ūlāʾika yadkhulūna l-jannata wa-lā yuẓlamūna naqīran

If any do deeds of righteousness,- be they male or female - and have faith, they will enter Heaven, and not the least injustice will be done to them.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:128

وَإِنِ ٱمْرَأَةٌ خَافَتْ مِنۢ بَعْلِهَا نُشُوزًا أَوْ إِعْرَاضًا فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَآ أَن يُصْلِحَا بَيْنَهُمَا صُلْحًا وَٱلصُّلْحُ خَيْرٌ وَأُحْضِرَتِ ٱلْأَنفُسُ ٱلشُّحَّ وَإِن تُحْسِنُوا۟ وَتَتَّقُوا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا

wa-ini imraʾatun khāfat min baʿlihā nushūzan aw iʿrāḍan fa-lā junāḥa ʿalayhimā an yuṣliḥā baynahumā ṣulḥan wal-ṣulḥu khayrun wa-uḥḍirati l-anfusu l-sḥuḥḥa wa-in tuḥsinū wa-tattaqū fa-inna allāha kāna bi-mā taʿmalūna khabīran

If a wife fears cruelty or desertion on her husband's part, there is no blame on them if they arrange an amicable settlement between themselves; and such settlement is best; even though men's souls are swayed by greed. But if ye do good and practise self-restraint, Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:135

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ كُونُوا۟ قَوَّٰمِينَ بِٱلْقِسْطِ شُهَدَآءَ لِلَّـهِ وَلَوْ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَوِ ٱلْوَٰلِدَيْنِ وَٱلْأَقْرَبِينَ إِن يَكُنْ غَنِيًّا أَوْ فَقِيرًا فَٱللَّـهُ أَوْلَىٰ بِهِمَا فَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ ٱلْهَوَىٰٓ أَن تَعْدِلُوا۟ وَإِن تَلْوُۥٓا۟ أَوْ تُعْرِضُوا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا

yā-ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū kūnū qawwāmīna bil-qisṭi shuhadāʾa lillāhi wa-law ʿala anfusikum awi l-wālidayni wa-l-aqrabīna in yakun ghaniyyan aw faqīran fallāhu awlā bihimā fa-lā tattabiʿū l-hawā an taʿdilū wa-in talwu aw tuʿriḍū fa-inna allāha kāna bi-mā taʿmalūna khabīran

O ye who believe! stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even as against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, and whether it be (against) rich or poor: for Allah can best protect both. Follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest ye swerve, and if ye distort (justice) or decline to do justice, verily Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:173

فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَيُوَفِّيهِمْ أُجُورَهُمْ وَيَزِيدُهُم مِّن فَضْلِهِۦ وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَنكَفُوا۟ وَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ فَيُعَذِّبُهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا وَلَا يَجِدُونَ لَهُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّـهِ وَلِيًّا وَلَا نَصِيرًا

fa-ammā lladhīna āmanū wa-ʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti fa-yuwaffīhim ujūrahum wa-yazīduhum min faḍlihi wa-ammā lladhīna istankafū wa-istakbarū fa-yuʿadhdhibuhum ʿadhāban alīman wa-lā yajidūna lahum min dūni allāhi waliyyan wa-lā naṣīran

But to those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, He will give their (due) rewards,- and more, out of His bounty: But those who are disdainful and arrogant, He will punish with a grievous penalty; Nor will they find, besides Allah, any to protect or help them.

Sura al-Māʾidah 5:8

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ كُونُوا۟ قَوَّٰمِينَ لِلَّـهِ شُهَدَآءَ بِٱلْقِسْطِ وَلَا يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ شَنَـَٔانُ قَوْمٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَلَّا تَعْدِلُوا۟ ٱعْدِلُوا۟ هُوَ أَقْرَبُ لِلتَّقْوَىٰ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ

yā-ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū kūnū qawwāmīna lillāhi shuhadāʾa bil-qisṭi wa-lā yajrimannakum shanaʾānu qawmin ʿala allā taʿdilū aʿdilū huwa aqrabu lil-taqwā wattaqū allāha inna allāha khabīrun bi-mā taʿmalūna

O ye who believe! stand out firmly for Allah, as witnesses to fair dealing, and let not the hatred of others to you make you swerve to wrong and depart from justice. Be just: that is next to piety: and fear Allah. For Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.

Sura al-Māʾidah 5:9

وَعَدَ ٱللَّـهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ

waʿada allāhu lladhīna āmanū wa-ʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti lahum maghfiratun wa-ajrun ʿaẓīmun

To those who believe and do deeds of righteousness hath Allah promised forgiveness and a great reward.

Sura al-Māʾidah 5:62

وَتَرَىٰ كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُمْ يُسَٰرِعُونَ فِى ٱلْإِثْمِ وَٱلْعُدْوَٰنِ وَأَكْلِهِمُ ٱلسُّحْتَ لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

wa-tarā kathīran minhum yusāriʿūna fī l-ithmi wa-l-ʿudwāni wa-aklihimu l-suḥta la-biʾsa mā kānū yaʿmalūna

Many of them dost thou see, racing each other in sin and rancour, and their eating of things forbidden. Evil indeed are the things that they do.

Sura al-Māʾidah 5:66

وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ أَقَامُوا۟ ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةَ وَٱلْإِنجِيلَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِم مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ لَأَكَلُوا۟ مِن فَوْقِهِمْ وَمِن تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِهِم مِّنْهُمْ أُمَّةٌ مُّقْتَصِدَةٌ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ سَآءَ مَا يَعْمَلُونَ

wa-law annahum aqāmū l-tawrāta wa-l-injīla wa-mā unzila ilayhim min rabbihim laakalū min fawqihim wa-min taḥti arjulihim minhum ummatun muqtaṣidatun wa-kathīrun minhum sāa mā yaʿmalūna

If only they had stood fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that was sent to them from their Lord, they would have enjoyed happiness from every side. There is from among them a party on the right course: but many of them follow a course that is evil.

Sura al-Māʾidah 5:69

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَٱلَّذِينَ هَادُوا۟ وَٱلصَّٰبِـُٔونَ وَٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ مَنْ ءَامَنَ بِٱللَّـهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْأَخِرِ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحًا فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ

inna lladhīna āmanū wa-lladhīna hādū wa-l-ṣābiūna wa-l-naṣārā man āmana billāhi wa-l-yawmi l-akhiri wa-ʿamila ṣāliḥan fa-lā khawfun ʿalayhim wa-lā hum yaḥzanūna

Those who believe (in the Qur'an), those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Sabians and the Christians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness,- on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

Sura al-Māʾidah 5:71

وَحَسِبُوٓا۟ أَلَّا تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌ فَعَمُوا۟ وَصَمُّوا۟ ثُمَّ تَابَ ٱللَّـهُ عَلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ عَمُوا۟ وَصَمُّوا۟ كَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ وَٱللَّـهُ بَصِيرٌۢ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ

wa-ḥasibū allā takūna fitnatun faʿamū wa-ṣammū thumma tāba allāhu ʿalayhim thumma ʿamū wa-ṣammū kathīrun minhum wallāhu baṣīrun bi-mā yaʿmalūna

They thought there would be no trial (or punishment); so they became blind and deaf; yet Allah (in mercy) turned to them; yet again many of them became blind and deaf. But Allah sees well all that they do.

Sura al-Māʾidah 5:93

لَيْسَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ جُنَاحٌ فِيمَا طَعِمُوٓا۟ إِذَا مَا ٱتَّقَوا۟ وَّءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ ثُمَّ ٱتَّقَوا۟ وَّءَامَنُوا۟ ثُمَّ ٱتَّقَوا۟ وَّأَحْسَنُوا۟ وَٱللَّـهُ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

laysa ʿalā lladhīna āmanū wa-ʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti junāḥun fī-mā ṭaʿimū idhā mā ittaqaw wa-āmanū wa-ʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti thumma ittaqaw wa-āmanū thumma ittaqaw wa-aḥsanū wallāhu yuḥibbu l-muḥsinīna

On those who believe and do deeds of righteousness there is no blame for what they ate (in the past), when they guard themselves from evil, and believe, and do deeds of righteousness,- (or) again, guard themselves from evil and believe,- (or) again, guard themselves from evil and do good. For Allah loveth those who do good.

Sura al-Māʾidah 5:105

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنفُسَكُمْ لَا يَضُرُّكُم مَّن ضَلَّ إِذَا ٱهْتَدَيْتُمْ إِلَى ٱللَّـهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعًا فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

yā-ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū ʿalaykum anfusakum lā yaḍurrukum man ḍalla idhā ihtadaytum ilā allāhi marjiʿukum jamīʿan fa-yunabbiʾukum bi-mā kuntum taʿmalūna

O ye who believe! Guard your own souls: If ye follow (right) guidance, no hurt can come to you from those who stray. the goal of you all is to Allah: it is He that will show you the truth of all that ye do.

Sura al-Anʿām 6:43

فَلَوْلَآ إِذْ جَآءَهُم بَأْسُنَا تَضَرَّعُوا۟ وَلَٰكِن قَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

fa-lawlā idh jāʾahum baʾsunā taḍarraʿū wa-lākin qasat qulūbuhum wa-zayyana lahumu l-shayṭānu mā kānū yaʿmalūna

When the suffering reached them from us, why then did they not learn humility? On the contrary their hearts became hardened, and Satan made their (sinful) acts seem alluring to them.

Sura al-Anʿām 6:54

وَإِذَا جَآءَكَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا فَقُلْ سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ كَتَبَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ ٱلرَّحْمَةَ أَنَّهُۥ مَنْ عَمِلَ مِنكُمْ سُوٓءًۢا بِجَهَٰلَةٍ ثُمَّ تَابَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ وَأَصْلَحَ فَأَنَّهُۥ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

wa-idhā jāʾaka lladhīna yuʾminūna bi-āyātinā fa-qul salāmun ʿalaykum kataba rabbukum ʿalā nafsihi l-raḥmata annahu man ʿamila minkum sūan bi-jahālatin thumma tāba min baʿdihi wa-aṣlaḥa fa-annahu ghafūrun raḥīmun

When those come to thee who believe in Our signs, Say: "Peace be on you: Your Lord hath inscribed for Himself (the rule of) mercy: verily, if any of you did evil in ignorance, and thereafter repented, and amend (his conduct), lo! He is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.
