Sura al-Baqara 2:275

ٱلَّذِينَ يَأْكُلُونَ ٱلرِّبَوٰا۟ لَا يَقُومُونَ إِلَّا كَمَا يَقُومُ ٱلَّذِى يَتَخَبَّطُهُ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ مِنَ ٱلْمَسِّ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَا ٱلْبَيْعُ مِثْلُ ٱلرِّبَوٰا۟ وَأَحَلَّ ٱللَّـهُ ٱلْبَيْعَ وَحَرَّمَ ٱلرِّبَوٰا۟ فَمَن جَآءَهُۥ مَوْعِظَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ فَٱنتَهَىٰ فَلَهُۥ مَا سَلَفَ وَأَمْرُهُۥٓ إِلَى ٱللَّـهِ وَمَنْ عَادَ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ

lladhīna yaʾkulūna l-ribā lā yaqūmūna illā ka-mā yaqūmu alladhī yatakhabbaṭuhu l-shayṭānu mina l-massi dhālika bi-annahum qālū innamā l-bayʿu mithlu l-ribā wa-aḥalla allāhu l-bayʿa wa-ḥarrama l-ribā fa-man jāʾahu mawʿiẓatun min rabbihi fa-antaha fa-lahu mā salafa wa-amruhu ilā allāhi wa-man ʿāda fa-ūlāʾika aṣḥābu l-nāri hum fīhā khālidūna

Those who devour usury will not stand except as stand one whom the Evil one by his touch Hath driven to madness. That is because they say: "Trade is like usury," but Allah hath permitted trade and forbidden usury. Those who after receiving direction from their Lord, desist, shall be pardoned for the past; their case is for Allah (to judge); but those who repeat (The offence) are companions of the Fire: They will abide therein (for ever).

Sura al-Māʾidah 5:95

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَقْتُلُوا۟ ٱلصَّيْدَ وَأَنتُمْ حُرُمٌ وَمَن قَتَلَهُۥ مِنكُم مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَآءٌ مِّثْلُ مَا قَتَلَ مِنَ ٱلنَّعَمِ يَحْكُمُ بِهِۦ ذَوَا عَدْلٍ مِّنكُمْ هَدْيًۢا بَٰلِغَ ٱلْكَعْبَةِ أَوْ كَفَّٰرَةٌ طَعَامُ مَسَٰكِينَ أَوْ عَدْلُ ذَٰلِكَ صِيَامًا لِّيَذُوقَ وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِۦ عَفَا ٱللَّـهُ عَمَّا سَلَفَ وَمَنْ عَادَ فَيَنتَقِمُ ٱللَّـهُ مِنْهُ وَٱللَّـهُ عَزِيزٌ ذُو ٱنتِقَامٍ

yā-ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū lā taqtulū l-ṣayda wa-antum ḥurumun wa-man qatalahu minkum mutaʿammidan fa-jazāʾun mithlu mā qatala mina l-naʿami yaḥkumu bihi dhawā ʿadlin minkum hadyan bāligha l-kaʿbati aw kaffāratun ṭaʿāmu masākīna aw ʿadlu dhālika ṣiyāmān li-yadhūqa wabāla amrihi ʿafā allāhu ʿammā salafa wa-man ʿāda fa-yantaqimu allāhu minhu wallāhu ʿazīzun dhū intiqāmin

O ye who believe! Kill not game while in the sacred precincts or in pilgrim garb. If any of you doth so intentionally, the compensation is an offering, brought to the Ka'ba, of a domestic animal equivalent to the one he killed, as adjudged by two just men among you; or by way of atonement, the feeding of the indigent; or its equivalent in fasts: that he may taste of the penalty of his deed. Allah forgives what is past: for repetition Allah will exact from him the penalty. For Allah is Exalted, and Lord of Retribution.

Sura al-Anʿām 6:28

بَلْ بَدَا لَهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يُخْفُونَ مِن قَبْلُ وَلَوْ رُدُّوا۟ لَعَادُوا۟ لِمَا نُهُوا۟ عَنْهُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَٰذِبُونَ

bal badā lahum mā kānū yukhfūna min qablu wa-law ruddū la-ʿādū li-mā nuhū ʿanhu wa-innahum la-kādhibūna

Yea, in their own (eyes) will become manifest what before they concealed. But if they were returned, they would certainly relapse to the things they were forbidden, for they are indeed liars.

Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:29

قُلْ أَمَرَ رَبِّى بِٱلْقِسْطِ وَأَقِيمُوا۟ وُجُوهَكُمْ عِندَ كُلِّ مَسْجِدٍ وَٱدْعُوهُ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ كَمَا بَدَأَكُمْ تَعُودُونَ

qul amara rabbī bil-qisṭi wa-aqīmū wujūhakum ʿinda kulli masjidin wa-adʿūhu mukhliṣīna lahu l-dīna ka-mā badaʾakum taʿūdūna

Say: "My Lord hath commanded justice; and that ye set your whole selves (to Him) at every time and place of prayer, and call upon Him, making your devotion sincere as in His sight: such as He created you in the beginning, so shall ye return."

Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:88

قَالَ ٱلْمَلَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ مِن قَوْمِهِۦ لَنُخْرِجَنَّكَ يَٰشُعَيْبُ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَعَكَ مِن قَرْيَتِنَآ أَوْ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِى مِلَّتِنَا قَالَ أَوَلَوْ كُنَّا كَٰرِهِينَ

qalā l-malaʾu lladhīna istakbarū min qawmihi la-nukhrijannaka yā-shuʿaybu wa-lladhīna āmanū maʿaka min qaryatinā aw lataʿūdunna fī millatinā qalā awalaw kunnā kārihīna

The leaders, the arrogant party among his people, said: "O Shu'aib! we shall certainly drive thee out of our city - (thee) and those who believe with thee; or else ye (thou and they) shall have to return to our ways and religion." He said: "What! even though we do detest (them)?

Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:89

قَدِ ٱفْتَرَيْنَا عَلَى ٱللَّـهِ كَذِبًا إِنْ عُدْنَا فِى مِلَّتِكُم بَعْدَ إِذْ نَجَّىٰنَا ٱللَّـهُ مِنْهَا وَمَا يَكُونُ لَنَآ أَن نَّعُودَ فِيهَآ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّـهُ رَبُّنَا وَسِعَ رَبُّنَا كُلَّ شَىْءٍ عِلْمًا عَلَى ٱللَّـهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا رَبَّنَا ٱفْتَحْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ قَوْمِنَا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ ٱلْفَٰتِحِينَ

qadi iftaraynā ʿalā allāhi kadhiban in ʿudnā fī millatikum baʿda idh najjanā allāhu minhā wa-mā yakūnu lanā an naʿūda fīhā illā an yashāʾa allāhu rabbunā wasiʿa rabbunā kulla shayʾin ʿilman ʿalā allāhi tawakkalnā rabbanā iftaḥ baynanā wa-bayna qawminā bil-ḥaqqi wa-anta khayru l-fātiḥīna

"We should indeed invent a lie against Allah, if we returned to your ways after Allah hath rescued us therefrom; nor could we by any manner of means return thereto unless it be as in the will and plan of Allah, Our Lord. Our Lord can reach out to the utmost recesses of things by His knowledge. In the Allah is our trust. our Lord! decide Thou between us and our people in truth, for Thou art the best to decide."

Sura al-Anfāl 8:19

إِن تَسْتَفْتِحُوا۟ فَقَدْ جَآءَكُمُ ٱلْفَتْحُ وَإِن تَنتَهُوا۟ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ وَإِن تَعُودُوا۟ نَعُدْ وَلَن تُغْنِىَ عَنكُمْ فِئَتُكُمْ شَيْـًٔا وَلَوْ كَثُرَتْ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّـهَ مَعَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

in tastaftiḥū fa-qad jāakumu l-fatḥu wa-in tantahū fa-huwa khayrun la-kum wa-in taʿūdū naʿud wa-lan tughniya ʿankum fiʾatukum shayʾan wa-law kathurat wa-anna allāha maʿa l-muʾminīna

(O Unbelievers!) if ye prayed for victory and judgment, now hath the judgment come to you: if ye desist (from wrong), it will be best for you: if ye return (to the attack), so shall We. Not the least good will your forces be to you even if they were multiplied: for verily Allah is with those who believe!

Sura al-Anfāl 8:38

قُل لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِن يَنتَهُوا۟ يُغْفَرْ لَهُم مَّا قَدْ سَلَفَ وَإِن يَعُودُوا۟ فَقَدْ مَضَتْ سُنَّتُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

qul li-lladhīna kafarū in yantahū yughfar lahum mā qad salafa wa-in yaʿūdū fa-qad maḍat sunnatu l-awwalīna

Say to the Unbelievers, if (now) they desist (from Unbelief), their past would be forgiven them; but if they persist, the punishment of those before them is already (a matter of warning for them).

Sura Yūnus 10:4

إِلَيْهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعًا وَعْدَ ٱللَّـهِ حَقًّا إِنَّهُۥ يَبْدَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ لِيَجْزِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ بِٱلْقِسْطِ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَهُمْ شَرَابٌ مِّنْ حَمِيمٍ وَعَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْفُرُونَ

ilayhi marjiʿukum jamīʿan waʿda allāhi ḥaqqan innahu yabdaʾu l-khalqa thumma yuʿīduhu li-yajziya lladhīna āmanū wa-ʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti bil-qisṭi wa-lladhīna kafarū lahum sharābun min ḥamīmin wa-ʿadhābun alīmun bi-mā kānū yakfurūna

To Him will be your return- of all of you. The promise of Allah is true and sure. It is He Who beginneth the process of creation, and repeateth it, that He may reward with justice those who believe and work righteousness; but those who reject Him will have draughts of boiling fluids, and a penalty grievous, because they did reject Him.

Sura Yūnus 10:34

قُلْ هَلْ مِن شُرَكَآئِكُم مَّن يَبْدَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ قُلِ ٱللَّـهُ يَبْدَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤْفَكُونَ

qul hal min shurakāʾikum man yabdaʾu l-khalqa thumma yuʿīduhu quli allāhu yabdaʾu l-khalqa thumma yuʿīduhu fa-annā tuʾfakūna

Say: "Of your 'partners', can any originate creation and repeat it?" Say: "It is Allah Who originates creation and repeats it: then how are ye deluded away (from the truth)?"

Sura Ibrāhīm 14:13

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِرُسُلِهِمْ لَنُخْرِجَنَّكُم مِّنْ أَرْضِنَآ أَوْ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِى مِلَّتِنَا فَأَوْحَىٰٓ إِلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ لَنُهْلِكَنَّ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

wa-qāla lladhīna kafarū lirusulihim la-nukhrijannakum min arḍinā aw lataʿūdunna fī millatinā fa-awḥā ilayhim rabbuhum la-nuhlikanna l-ẓālimīna

And the Unbelievers said to their messengers: "Be sure we shall drive you out of our land, or ye shall return to our religion." But their Lord inspired (this Message) to them: "Verily We shall cause the wrong-doers to perish!

Sura al-Isrāʾ 17:8

عَسَىٰ رَبُّكُمْ أَن يَرْحَمَكُمْ وَإِنْ عُدتُّمْ عُدْنَا وَجَعَلْنَا جَهَنَّمَ لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ حَصِيرًا

ʿasā rabbukum an yarḥamakum wa-in ʿudttum ʿudnā wa-jaʿalnā jahannama lil-kāfirīna ḥaṣīran

It may be that your Lord may (yet) show Mercy unto you; but if ye revert (to your sins), We shall revert (to Our punishments): And we have made Hell a prison for those who reject (all Faith).

Sura al-Isrāʾ 17:51

أَوْ خَلْقًا مِّمَّا يَكْبُرُ فِى صُدُورِكُمْ فَسَيَقُولُونَ مَن يُعِيدُنَا قُلِ ٱلَّذِى فَطَرَكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ فَسَيُنْغِضُونَ إِلَيْكَ رُءُوسَهُمْ وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هُوَ قُلْ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ قَرِيبًا

aw khalqan mimmā yakburu fī ṣudūrikum fa-sa-yaqūlūna man yuʿīdunā quli alladhī faṭarakum awwala marratin fa-sa-yunghiḍūna ilayka ruʾūsahum wa-yaqūlūna mata huwa qul ʿasā an yakūna qarīban

"Or created matter which, in your minds, is hardest (to be raised up),- (Yet shall ye be raised up)!" then will they say: "Who will cause us to return?" Say: "He who created you first!" Then will they wag their heads towards thee, and say, "When will that be?" Say, "May be it will be quite soon!

Sura al-Isrāʾ 17:69

أَمْ أَمِنتُمْ أَن يُعِيدَكُمْ فِيهِ تَارَةً أُخْرَىٰ فَيُرْسِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ قَاصِفًا مِّنَ ٱلرِّيحِ فَيُغْرِقَكُم بِمَا كَفَرْتُمْ ثُمَّ لَا تَجِدُوا۟ لَكُمْ عَلَيْنَا بِهِۦ تَبِيعًا

am amintum an yuʿīdakum fīhi tāratan ukhrā fa-yursila ʿalaykum qāṣifan mina l-rīḥi fa-yughriqakum bi-mā kafartum thumma lā tajidū la-kum ʿalaynā bihi tabīʿan

Or do ye feel secure that He will not send you back a second time to sea and send against you a heavy gale to drown you because of your ingratitude, so that ye find no helper. Therein against Us?

Sura al-Kahf 18:20

إِنَّهُمْ إِن يَظْهَرُوا۟ عَلَيْكُمْ يَرْجُمُوكُمْ أَوْ يُعِيدُوكُمْ فِى مِلَّتِهِمْ وَلَن تُفْلِحُوٓا۟ إِذًا أَبَدًا

innahum in yaẓharū ʿalaykum yarjumūkum aw yuʿīdūkum fī millatihim wa-lan tufliḥū idhan abadan

"For if they should come upon you, they would stone you or force you to return to their cult, and in that case ye would never attain prosperity."

Sura Ṭā Hā 20:21

قَالَ خُذْهَا وَلَا تَخَفْ سَنُعِيدُهَا سِيرَتَهَا ٱلْأُولَىٰ

qalā khudhhā wa-lā takhaf sa-nuʿīduhā sīratahā l-ūlā

(Allah) said, "Seize it, and fear not: We shall return it at once to its former condition"..

Sura Ṭā Hā 20:55

مِنْهَا خَلَقْنَٰكُمْ وَفِيهَا نُعِيدُكُمْ وَمِنْهَا نُخْرِجُكُمْ تَارَةً أُخْرَىٰ

minhā khalaqnākum wa-fīhā nuʿīdukum wa-minhā nukhrijukum tāratan ukhrā

From the (earth) did We create you, and into it shall We return you, and from it shall We bring you out once again.

Sura al-Anbiyāʾ 21:104

يَوْمَ نَطْوِى ٱلسَّمَآءَ كَطَىِّ ٱلسِّجِلِّ لِلْكُتُبِ كَمَا بَدَأْنَآ أَوَّلَ خَلْقٍ نُّعِيدُهُۥ وَعْدًا عَلَيْنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا فَٰعِلِينَ

yawma naṭwī l-samāʾa kaṭayyi l-sijilli lil-kutubi ka-mā badaʾnā awwala khalqin nnuʿīduhu waʿdan ʿalaynā innā kunnā fāʿilīna

The Day that We roll up the heavens like a scroll rolled up for books (completed),- even as We produced the first creation, so shall We produce a new one: a promise We have undertaken: truly shall We fulfil it.

Sura al-Ḥajj 22:22

كُلَّمَآ أَرَادُوٓا۟ أَن يَخْرُجُوا۟ مِنْهَا مِنْ غَمٍّ أُعِيدُوا۟ فِيهَا وَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلْحَرِيقِ

kullamā arādū an yakhrujū minhā min ghammin uʿīdū fīhā wa-dhūqū ʿadhāba l-ḥarīqi

Every time they wish to get away therefrom, from anguish, they will be forced back therein, and (it will be said), "Taste ye the Penalty of Burning!"

Sura al-Muʾminūn 23:107

رَبَّنَآ أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْهَا فَإِنْ عُدْنَا فَإِنَّا ظَٰلِمُونَ

rabbanā akhrijnā minhā fa-in ʿudnā fa-innā ẓālimūna

"Our Lord! bring us out of this: if ever we return (to Evil), then shall we be wrong-doers indeed!"

Sura al-Nūr 24:17

يَعِظُكُمُ ٱللَّـهُ أَن تَعُودُوا۟ لِمِثْلِهِۦٓ أَبَدًا إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

yaʿiẓukumu allāhu an taʿūdū limithlihi abadan in kuntum muʾminīna

Allah doth admonish you, that ye may never repeat such (conduct), if ye are (true) Believers.

Sura al-Naml 27:64

أَمَّن يَبْدَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ وَمَن يَرْزُقُكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ أَءِلَٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّـهِ قُلْ هَاتُوا۟ بُرْهَٰنَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

a-man yabdaʾu l-khalqa thumma yuʿīduhu wa-man yarzuqukum mina l-samāʾi wa-l-arḍi a-ilāhun maʿa allāhi qul hātū burhānakum in kuntum ṣādiqīna

Or, Who originates creation, then repeats it, and who gives you sustenance from heaven and earth? (Can there be another) god besides Allah? Say, "Bring forth your argument, if ye are telling the truth!"

Sura al-ʿAnkabūt 29:19

أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ كَيْفَ يُبْدِئُ ٱللَّـهُ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥٓ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّـهِ يَسِيرٌ

a-wa-lam yaraw kayfa yubdiʾu allāhu l-khalqa thumma yuʿīduhu inna dhālika ʿalā allāhi yasīrun

See they not how Allah originates creation, then repeats it: truly that is easy for Allah.

Sura al-Rūm 30:11

ٱللَّـهُ يَبْدَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ

allāhu yabdaʾu l-khalqa thumma yuʿīduhu thumma ilayhi turjaʿūna

It is Allah Who begins (the process of) creation; then repeats it; then shall ye be brought back to Him.

Sura al-Rūm 30:27

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى يَبْدَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ وَهُوَ أَهْوَنُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَهُ ٱلْمَثَلُ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ

wa-huwa alladhī yabdaʾu l-khalqa thumma yuʿīduhu wa-huwa ahwanu ʿalayhi wa-lahu l-mathalu l-aʿlā fī l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍi wa-huwa l-ʿazīzu l-ḥakīmu

It is He Who begins (the process of) creation; then repeats it; and for Him it is most easy. To Him belongs the loftiest similitude (we can think of) in the heavens and the earth: for He is Exalted in Might, full of wisdom.

Sura al-Sajdah 32:20

وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ فَسَقُوا۟ فَمَأْوَىٰهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ كُلَّمَآ أَرَادُوٓا۟ أَن يَخْرُجُوا۟ مِنْهَآ أُعِيدُوا۟ فِيهَا وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ ذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ

wa-ammā lladhīna fasaqū fa-maʾwāhumu l-nāru kullamā arādū an yakhrujū minhā uʿīdū fīhā wa-qīla lahum dhūqū ʿadhāba l-nāri alladhī kuntum bihi tukadhdhibūna

As to those who are rebellious and wicked, their abode will be the Fire: every time they wish to get away therefrom, they will be forced thereinto, and it will be said to them: "Taste ye the Penalty of the Fire, the which ye were wont to reject as false."

Sura Sabaʾ 34:49

قُلْ جَآءَ ٱلْحَقُّ وَمَا يُبْدِئُ ٱلْبَٰطِلُ وَمَا يُعِيدُ

qul jāa l-ḥaqqu wa-mā yubdiʾu l-bāṭilu wa-mā yuʿīdu

Say: "The Truth has arrived, and Falsehood neither creates anything new, nor restores anything."

Sura Yā Sin 36:39

وَٱلْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْنَٰهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتَّىٰ عَادَ كَٱلْعُرْجُونِ ٱلْقَدِيمِ

wa-l-qamara qaddarnāhu manāzila ḥattā ʿāda ka-l-ʿurjūni l-qadīmi

And the Moon,- We have measured for her mansions (to traverse) till she returns like the old (and withered) lower part of a date-stalk.

Sura al-Mujādilah 58:3

وَٱلَّذِينَ يُظَٰهِرُونَ مِن نِّسَآئِهِمْ ثُمَّ يَعُودُونَ لِمَا قَالُوا۟ فَتَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍ مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَتَمَآسَّا ذَٰلِكُمْ تُوعَظُونَ بِهِۦ وَٱللَّـهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ

wa-lladhīna yuẓāhirūna min nisāʾihim thumma yaʿūdūna li-mā qālū fa-taḥrīru raqabatin min qabli an yatamāssā dhālikum tūʿaẓūna bihi wallāhu bi-mā taʿmalūna khabīrun

But those who divorce their wives by Zihar, then wish to go back on the words they uttered,- (It is ordained that such a one) should free a slave before they touch each other: Thus are ye admonished to perform: and Allah is well-acquainted with (all) that ye do.

Sura al-Mujādilah 58:8

أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ نُهُوا۟ عَنِ ٱلنَّجْوَىٰ ثُمَّ يَعُودُونَ لِمَا نُهُوا۟ عَنْهُ وَيَتَنَٰجَوْنَ بِٱلْإِثْمِ وَٱلْعُدْوَٰنِ وَمَعْصِيَتِ ٱلرَّسُولِ وَإِذَا جَآءُوكَ حَيَّوْكَ بِمَا لَمْ يُحَيِّكَ بِهِ ٱللَّـهُ وَيَقُولُونَ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ لَوْلَا يُعَذِّبُنَا ٱللَّـهُ بِمَا نَقُولُ حَسْبُهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ يَصْلَوْنَهَا فَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ

a-lam tara ilā lladhīna nuhū ʿani l-najwā thumma yaʿūdūna li-mā nuhū ʿanhu wa-yatanājawna bi-l-ithmi wa-l-ʿudwāni wa-maʿṣīati l-rasūli wa-idhā jāʾūka ḥayyawka bi-mā lam yuḥayyika bihi allāhu wa-yaqūlūna fī anfusihim lawlā yuʿadhdhibunā allāhu bi-mā naqūlu ḥasbuhum jahannamu yaṣlawnahā fa-bisa l-maṣīru

Turnest thou not thy sight towards those who were forbidden secret counsels yet revert to that which they were forbidden (to do)? And they hold secret counsels among themselves for iniquity and hostility, and disobedience to the Messenger. And when they come to thee, they salute thee, not as Allah salutes thee, (but in crooked ways): And they say to themselves, "Why does not Allah punish us for our words?" Enough for them is Hell: In it will they burn, and evil is that destination!

Sura Nūḥ 71:18

ثُمَّ يُعِيدُكُمْ فِيهَا وَيُخْرِجُكُمْ إِخْرَاجًا

thumma yuʿīdukum fīhā wa-yukhrijukum ikhrājan

"'And in the End He will return you into the (earth), and raise you forth (again at the Resurrection)?

Sura al-Burūj 85:13

إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ يُبْدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ

innahu huwa yubdiʾu wa-yuʿīdu

It is He Who creates from the very beginning, and He can restore (life).
