Surah 7 al-Aʿrāf (The Heights)

(7:16)    | قَالَ فَبِمَآ أَغْوَيْتَنِى لَأَقْعُدَنَّ لَهُمْ صِرَٰطَكَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ | qalā fabimā aghwaytanī la‑aqʿudanna lahum ṣirāṭaka l‑mustaqīma | He said: "Because thou hast thrown me out of the way, lo! I
will lie in wait for them on thy straight way:
Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:16 قَالَ فَبِمَآ أَغْوَيْتَنِى لَأَقْعُدَنَّ لَهُمْ صِرَٰطَكَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ qalā fabimā aghwaytanī la-aqʿudanna lahum ṣirāṭaka l-mustaqīma He said: "Because thou hast thrown me out of the way, lo! I will lie in wait for them on thy straight way: |
Surah 15 al-Ḥijr (The Rocky Tract) | (15:39) | قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَآ أَغْوَيْتَنِى لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ | qalā rabbi bimā aghwaytanī la‑uzayyinanna lahum fī l‑arḍi wa‑la‑ughwiyannahum ajmaʿīna | (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! because Thou hast put me in the
wrong, I will make (wrong) fair-seeming to them on the earth, and I will
put them all in the wrong,-
Sura al-Ḥijr 15:39 قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَآ أَغْوَيْتَنِى لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ qalā rabbi bimā aghwaytanī la-uzayyinanna lahum fī l-arḍi wa-la-ughwiyannahum ajmaʿīna (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! because Thou hast put me in the wrong, I will make (wrong) fair-seeming to them on the earth, and I will put them all in the wrong,- |
