Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:40

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ عَنْهَا لَا تُفَتَّحُ لَهُمْ أَبْوَٰبُ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَلَا يَدْخُلُونَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ حَتَّىٰ يَلِجَ ٱلْجَمَلُ فِى سَمِّ ٱلْخِيَاطِ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

inna lladhīna kadhdhabū bi-āyātinā wa-istakbarū ʿanhā lā tufattaḥu lahum abwābu l-samāʾi wa-lā yadkhulūna l-jannata ḥattā yalija l-jamalu fī sammi l-khiyāṭi wa-ka-dhālika najzī l-mujrimīna

To those who reject Our signs and treat them with arrogance, no opening will there be of the gates of heaven, nor will they enter the garden, until the camel can pass through the eye of the needle: Such is Our reward for those in sin.

Sura al-Anbiyāʾ 21:96

حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فُتِحَتْ يَأْجُوجُ وَمَأْجُوجُ وَهُم مِّن كُلِّ حَدَبٍ يَنسِلُونَ

ḥatta idhā futiḥat yaʾjūju wa-maʾjūju wa-hum min kulli ḥadabin yansilūna

Until the Gog and Magog (people) are let through (their barrier), and they swiftly swarm from every hill.

Sura al-Zumar 39:71

وَسِيقَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ زُمَرًا حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءُوهَا فُتِحَتْ أَبْوَٰبُهَا وَقَالَ لَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَآ أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِّنكُمْ يَتْلُونَ عَلَيْكُمْ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّكُمْ وَيُنذِرُونَكُمْ لِقَآءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَٰذَا قَالُوا۟ بَلَىٰ وَلَٰكِنْ حَقَّتْ كَلِمَةُ ٱلْعَذَابِ عَلَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ

wa-sīqa lladhīna kafarū ilā jahannama zumaran ḥatta idhā jāʾūhā futiḥat abwābuhā wa-qāla lahum khazanatuhā a-lam yatikum rusulun minkum yatlūna ʿalaykum āyāti rabbikum wa-yundhirūnakum liqāʾa yawmikum hādhā qālū balā wa-lākin ḥaqqat kalimatu l-ʿadhābi ʿalā l-kāfirīna

The Unbelievers will be led to Hell in crowd: until, when they arrive, there, its gates will be opened. And its keepers will say, "Did not messengers come to you from among yourselves, rehearsing to you the Signs of your Lord, and warning you of the Meeting of This Day of yours?" The answer will be: "True: but the Decree of Punishment has been proved true against the Unbelievers!"

Sura al-Zumar 39:73

وَسِيقَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوْا۟ رَبَّهُمْ إِلَى ٱلْجَنَّةِ زُمَرًا حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءُوهَا وَفُتِحَتْ أَبْوَٰبُهَا وَقَالَ لَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَا سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ طِبْتُمْ فَٱدْخُلُوهَا خَٰلِدِينَ

wa-sīqa lladhīna ittaqaw rabbahum ilā l-jannati zumaran ḥatta idhā jāʾūhā wa-futiḥat abwābuhā wa-qāla lahum khazanatuhā salāmun ʿalaykum ṭibtum fadkhulūhā khālidīna

And those who feared their Lord will be led to the Garden in crowds: until behold, they arrive there; its gates will be opened; and its keepers will say: "Peace be upon you! well have ye done! enter ye here, to dwell therein."

Sura al-Nabaʾ 78:19

وَفُتِحَتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتْ أَبْوَٰبًا

wa-futiḥati l-samāʾu fa-kānat abwāban

And the heavens shall be opened as if there were doors,
