Sura Ṭā Hā 20:90

وَلَقَدْ قَالَ لَهُمْ هَٰرُونُ مِن قَبْلُ يَٰقَوْمِ إِنَّمَا فُتِنتُم بِهِۦ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ فَٱتَّبِعُونِى وَأَطِيعُوٓا۟ أَمْرِى

wa-la-qad qalā lahum hārūnu min qablu yā-qawmi innamā futintum bihi wa-inna rabbakumu l-raḥmānu fa-ittabiʿūnī wa-aṭīʿū amrī

Aaron had already, before this said to them: "O my people! ye are being tested in this: for verily your Lord is (Allah) Most Gracious; so follow me and obey my command."

Sura al-Naml 27:47

قَالُوا۟ ٱطَّيَّرْنَا بِكَ وَبِمَن مَّعَكَ قَالَ طَٰٓئِرُكُمْ عِندَ ٱللَّـهِ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ تُفْتَنُونَ

qālū ṭṭayyarnā bika wa-biman maʿaka qalā ṭāʾirukum ʿinda allāhi bal antum qawmun tuftanūna

They said: "Ill omen do we augur from thee and those that are with thee". He said: "Your ill omen is with Allah; yea, ye are a people under trial."

Sura al-Ḥadīd 57:14

يُنَادُونَهُمْ أَلَمْ نَكُن مَّعَكُمْ قَالُوا۟ بَلَىٰ وَلَٰكِنَّكُمْ فَتَنتُمْ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَتَرَبَّصْتُمْ وَٱرْتَبْتُمْ وَغَرَّتْكُمُ ٱلْأَمَانِىُّ حَتَّىٰ جَآءَ أَمْرُ ٱللَّـهِ وَغَرَّكُم بِٱللَّـهِ ٱلْغَرُورُ

yunādūnahum a-lam nakun maʿakum qālū balā wa-lākinnakum fatantum anfusakum wa-tarabbaṣtum wa-artabtum wa-gharratkumu l-amāniyyu ḥattā jāa amru allāhi wa-gharrakum billāhi l-gharūru

(Those without) will call out, "Were we not with you?" (The others) will reply, "True! but ye led yourselves into temptation; ye looked forward (to our ruin); ye doubted (Allah's Promise); and (your false) desires deceived you; until there issued the Command of Allah. And the Deceiver deceived you in respect of Allah.
