Surah 26 al-Shuʿarā (The Poets)

(26:21)

فَفَرَرْتُ  مِنكُمْ  لَمَّا  خِفْتُكُمْ  فَوَهَبَ  لِى  رَبِّى  حُكْمًا  وَجَعَلَنِى  مِنَ  ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ fa‑farartu minkum lammā khiftukum fa‑wahaba rabbī ḥukman wa‑jaʿalanī mina l‑mursalīna
"So I fled from you (all) when I feared you; but my Lord has (since) invested me with judgment (and wisdom) and appointed me as one of the messengers.

Surah 33 al-Aḥzāb (The Allies)
(33:16)

قُل  لَّن  يَنفَعَكُمُ  ٱلْفِرَارُ  إِن  فَرَرْتُم  مِّنَ  ٱلْمَوْتِ  أَوِ  ٱلْقَتْلِ  وَإِذًا  لَّا  تُمَتَّعُونَ  إِلَّا  قَلِيلًا qul lan yanfaʿakumu l‑firāru in farartum mina l‑mawti awi l‑qatli waidhan tumattaʿūna illā qalīlan
Say: "Running away will not profit you if ye are running away from death or slaughter; and even if (ye do escape), no more than a brief (respite) will ye be allowed to enjoy!"

Surah 51 al-Dhāriyāt (The Scatterers)
(51:50)

فَفِرُّوٓا۟  إِلَى  ٱللَّـهِ  إِنِّى  لَكُم  مِّنْهُ  نَذِيرٌ  مُّبِينٌ fa‑firrū ilā allāhi innī la‑kum minhu nadhīrun mubīnun
Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open!

Surah 62 al-Jumuʿah (The Day of Congregation)
(62:8)

قُلْ  إِنَّ  ٱلْمَوْتَ  ٱلَّذِى  تَفِرُّونَ  مِنْهُ  فَإِنَّهُۥ  مُلَٰقِيكُمْ  ثُمَّ  تُرَدُّونَ  إِلَىٰ  عَٰلِمِ  ٱلْغَيْبِ  وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ  فَيُنَبِّئُكُم  بِمَا  كُنتُمْ  تَعْمَلُونَ qul inna l‑mawtā alladhī tafirrūna minhu fa‑innahu mulāqīkum thumma turaddūna ilā ʿālimi l‑ghaybi wa‑l‑shahādati fa‑yunabbiukum bi‑mā kuntum taʿmalūna
Say: "The Death from which ye flee will truly overtake you: then will ye be sent back to the Knower of things secret and open: and He will tell you (the truth of) the things that ye did!"

Surah 74 al-Muddaththir (The Clothed One)
(74:51)

فَرَّتْ  مِن  قَسْوَرَةٍۭ farrat min qaswaratin
Fleeing from a lion!

Surah 80 al-ʿAbasa (He Frowned)
(80:34)

يَوْمَ  يَفِرُّ  ٱلْمَرْءُ  مِنْ  أَخِيهِ yawma yafirru l‑marʾu min akhīhi
That Day shall a man flee from his own brother,
