Sura al-Baqara 2:47

يَٰبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتِىَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَنْعَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَأَنِّى فَضَّلْتُكُمْ عَلَى ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

yā-banī isrāʾīla idhkurū niʿmatiya allatī anʿamtu ʿalaykum wa-annī faḍḍaltukum ʿalā l-ʿālamīna

Children of Israel! call to mind the (special) favour which I bestowed upon you, and that I preferred you to all other (for My Message).

Sura al-Baqara 2:122

يَٰبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتِىَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَنْعَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَأَنِّى فَضَّلْتُكُمْ عَلَى ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

yā-banī isrāʾīla idhkurū niʿmatiya allatī anʿamtu ʿalaykum wa-annī faḍḍaltukum ʿalā l-ʿālamīna

O Children of Israel! call to mind the special favour which I bestowed upon you, and that I preferred you to all others (for My Message).

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:32

وَلَا تَتَمَنَّوْا۟ مَا فَضَّلَ ٱللَّـهُ بِهِۦ بَعْضَكُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ لِّلرِّجَالِ نَصِيبٌ مِّمَّا ٱكْتَسَبُوا۟ وَلِلنِّسَآءِ نَصِيبٌ مِّمَّا ٱكْتَسَبْنَ وَسْـَٔلُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ مِن فَضْلِهِۦٓ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ كَانَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمًا

wa-lā tatamannaw mā faḍḍala allāhu bihi baʿḍakum ʿalā baʿḍin lil-rijāli naṣībun mimmā iktasabū wa-lil-nisāʾi naṣībun mimmā iktasabna wa-sʾalū allāha min faḍlihi inna allāha kāna bi-kulli shayʾin ʿalīman

And in no wise covet those things in which Allah Hath bestowed His gifts More freely on some of you than on others: To men is allotted what they earn, and to women what they earn: But ask Allah of His bounty. For Allah hath full knowledge of all things.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:34

ٱلرِّجَالُ قَوَّٰمُونَ عَلَى ٱلنِّسَآءِ بِمَا فَضَّلَ ٱللَّـهُ بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ وَبِمَآ أَنفَقُوا۟ مِنْ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ فَٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتُ قَٰنِتَٰتٌ حَٰفِظَٰتٌ لِّلْغَيْبِ بِمَا حَفِظَ ٱللَّـهُ وَٱلَّٰتِى تَخَافُونَ نُشُوزَهُنَّ فَعِظُوهُنَّ وَٱهْجُرُوهُنَّ فِى ٱلْمَضَاجِعِ وَٱضْرِبُوهُنَّ فَإِنْ أَطَعْنَكُمْ فَلَا تَبْغُوا۟ عَلَيْهِنَّ سَبِيلًا إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ كَانَ عَلِيًّا كَبِيرًا

l-rijālu qawwāmūna ʿalā l-nisāʾi bi-mā faḍḍala allāhu baʿḍahum ʿalā baʿḍin wa-bimā anfaqū min amwālihim fa-l-ṣāliḥātu qānitātun ḥāfiẓātun lil-ghaybi bi-mā ḥafiẓa allāhu wallātī takhāfūna nushūzahunna faʿiẓūhunna wa-ahjurūhunna fī l-maḍājiʿi wa-aḍribūhunna fa-in aṭaʿnakum fa-lā tabghū ʿalayhinna sabīlan inna allāha kāna ʿaliyyan kabīran

Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given the one more (strength) than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in (the husband's) absence what Allah would have them guard. As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (Next), refuse to share their beds, (And last) beat them (lightly); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them Means (of annoyance): For Allah is Most High, great (above you all).

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:95

لَّا يَسْتَوِى ٱلْقَٰعِدُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ غَيْرُ أُو۟لِى ٱلضَّرَرِ وَٱلْمُجَٰهِدُونَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّـهِ بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ فَضَّلَ ٱللَّـهُ ٱلْمُجَٰهِدِينَ بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ عَلَى ٱلْقَٰعِدِينَ دَرَجَةً وَكُلًّا وَعَدَ ٱللَّـهُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ وَفَضَّلَ ٱللَّـهُ ٱلْمُجَٰهِدِينَ عَلَى ٱلْقَٰعِدِينَ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا

lā yastawī l-qāʿidūna mina l-muʾminīna ghayru ūlī l-ḍarari wa-l-mujāhidūna fī sabīli allāhi bi-amwālihim wa-anfusihim faḍḍala allāhu l-mujāhidīna bi-amwālihim wa-anfusihim ʿalā l-qāʿidīna darajatan wa-kullan waʿada allāhu l-ḥusnā wa-faḍḍala allāhu l-mujāhidīna ʿalā l-qāʿidīna ajran ʿaẓīman

Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home). Unto all (in Faith) Hath Allah promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward,-

Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:140

قَالَ أَغَيْرَ ٱللَّـهِ أَبْغِيكُمْ إِلَٰهًا وَهُوَ فَضَّلَكُمْ عَلَى ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

qalā aghayra allāhi abghīkum ilāhan wa-huwa faḍḍalakum ʿalā l-ʿālamīna

He said: "Shall I seek for you a god other than the (true) Allah, when it is Allah Who hath endowed you with gifts above the nations?"

Sura al-Naḥl 16:71

وَٱللَّـهُ فَضَّلَ بَعْضَكُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ فِى ٱلرِّزْقِ فَمَا ٱلَّذِينَ فُضِّلُوا۟ بِرَآدِّى رِزْقِهِمْ عَلَىٰ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَٰنُهُمْ فَهُمْ فِيهِ سَوَآءٌ أَفَبِنِعْمَةِ ٱللَّـهِ يَجْحَدُونَ

wallāhu faḍḍala baʿḍakum ʿalā baʿḍin fī l-rizqi fa-mā lladhīna fuḍḍilū bi-rāddī rizqihim ʿalā mā malakat aymānuhum fa-hum fīhi sawāʾun afabiniʿmati allāhi yajḥadūna

Allah has bestowed His gifts of sustenance more freely on some of you than on others: those more favoured are not going to throw back their gifts to those whom their right hands possess, so as to be equal in that respect. Will they then deny the favours of Allah?

Sura al-Muʾminūn 23:24

فَقَالَ ٱلْمَلَؤُا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن قَوْمِهِۦ مَا هَٰذَآ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ يُرِيدُ أَن يَتَفَضَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّـهُ لَأَنزَلَ مَلَٰٓئِكَةً مَّا سَمِعْنَا بِهَٰذَا فِىٓ ءَابَآئِنَا ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

fa-qāla l-malaʾu lladhīna kafarū min qawmihi mā hādhā illā basharun mithlukum yurīdu an yatafaḍḍala ʿalaykum wa-law shāʾa allāhu la-anzala malāʾikatan mā samiʿnā bi-hādhā fī ābāinā l-awwalīna

The chiefs of the Unbelievers among his people said: "He is no more than a man like yourselves: his wish is to assert his superiority over you: if Allah had wished (to send messengers), He could have sent down angels; never did we hear such a thing (as he says), among our ancestors of old."

Sura al-Naml 27:15

وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا دَاوُۥدَ وَسُلَيْمَٰنَ عِلْمًا وَقَالَا ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّـهِ ٱلَّذِى فَضَّلَنَا عَلَىٰ كَثِيرٍ مِّنْ عِبَادِهِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

wa-la-qad ātaynā dāwuda wa-sulaymāna ʿilman wa-qālā l-ḥamdu lillāhi alladhī faḍḍalanā ʿalā kathīrin min ʿibādihi l-muʾminīna

We gave (in the past) knowledge to David and Solomon: And they both said: "Praise be to Allah, Who has favoured us above many of his servants who believe!"
