Surah 6 al-Anʿām (The Cattle)

إِنِّى  وَجَّهْتُ  وَجْهِىَ  لِلَّذِى  فَطَرَ  ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ  وَٱلْأَرْضَ  حَنِيفًا  وَمَآ  أَنَا۠  مِنَ  ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ innī wajjahtu wajhiya lilladhī fatarā l‑samāwāti wa‑l‑arḍa ḥanīfan wa‑mā anā mina l‑mushrikīna
"For me, I have set my face, firmly and truly, towards Him Who created the heavens and the earth, and never shall I give partners to Allah."

Surah 11 Hūd (Hud)
(11:51)

يَٰقَوْمِ  لَآ  أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ  عَلَيْهِ  أَجْرًا  إِنْ  أَجْرِىَ  إِلَّا  عَلَى  ٱلَّذِى  فَطَرَنِىٓ  أَفَلَا  تَعْقِلُونَ yā‑qawmi asʾalukum ʿalayhi ajran in ajriya illā ʿalā alladhī faṭaranī a‑fa‑lā taʿqilūna
"O my people! I ask of you no reward for this (Message). My reward is from none but Him who created me: Will ye not then understand?

Surah 17 al-Isrāʾ (The Children of Israel)
(17:51)

أَوْ  خَلْقًا  مِّمَّا  يَكْبُرُ  فِى  صُدُورِكُمْ  فَسَيَقُولُونَ  مَن  يُعِيدُنَا  قُلِ  ٱلَّذِى  فَطَرَكُمْ  أَوَّلَ  مَرَّةٍ  فَسَيُنْغِضُونَ  إِلَيْكَ  رُءُوسَهُمْ  وَيَقُولُونَ  مَتَىٰ  هُوَ  قُلْ  عَسَىٰٓ  أَن  يَكُونَ  قَرِيبًا aw khalqan mimmā yakburu ṣudūrikum fa‑sa‑yaqūlūna man yuʿīdunā quli alladhī faṭarakum awwala marratin fa‑sa‑yunghiḍūna ilayka ruʾūsahum wa‑yaqūlūna mata huwa qul ʿasā an yakūna qarīban
"Or created matter which, in your minds, is hardest (to be raised up),- (Yet shall ye be raised up)!" then will they say: "Who will cause us to return?" Say: "He who created you first!" Then will they wag their heads towards thee, and say, "When will that be?" Say, "May be it will be quite soon!

Surah 19 Maryam (Mary)
(19:90)

تَكَادُ  ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ  يَتَفَطَّرْنَ  مِنْهُ  وَتَنشَقُّ  ٱلْأَرْضُ  وَتَخِرُّ  ٱلْجِبَالُ  هَدًّا takādu l‑samāwātu yaṭafaṭṭarna minhu wa‑tanshaqqu l‑arḍu wa‑takhirru l‑jibālu haddan
At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin,

Surah 20 Ṭā Hā (Ta-Ha)
(20:72)

قَالُوا۟  لَن  نُّؤْثِرَكَ  عَلَىٰ  مَا  جَآءَنَا  مِنَ  ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ  وَٱلَّذِى  فَطَرَنَا  فَٱقْضِ  مَآ  أَنتَ  قَاضٍ  إِنَّمَا  تَقْضِى  هَٰذِهِ  ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ  ٱلدُّنْيَآ qālū lan nuʾthiraka ʿalā jāʾanā mina l‑bayyināti wa‑lladhī faṭaranā fa‑iqḍi anta qāḍin innamā taqḍī hādhihi l‑ḥayāta l‑dunyā
They said: "Never shall we regard thee as more than the Clear Signs that have come to us, or than Him Who created us! so decree whatever thou desirest to decree: for thou canst only decree (touching) the life of this world.

Surah 21 al-Anbiyāʾ (The Prophets)
(21:56)

قَالَ  بَل  رَّبُّكُمْ  رَبُّ  ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ  وَٱلْأَرْضِ  ٱلَّذِى  فَطَرَهُنَّ  وَأَنَا۠  عَلَىٰ  ذَٰلِكُم  مِّنَ  ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ qalā bal rrabbukum rabbu l‑samāwāti wa‑l‑arḍi alladhī faṭarahunna wa‑anā ʿalā dhālikum mina l‑shāhidīna
He said, "Nay, your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, He Who created them (from nothing): and I am a witness to this (Truth).

Surah 30 al-Rūm (The Romans)
(30:30)

فَأَقِمْ  وَجْهَكَ  لِلدِّينِ  حَنِيفًا  فِطْرَتَ  ٱللَّـهِ  ٱلَّتِى  فَطَرَ  ٱلنَّاسَ  عَلَيْهَا  لَا  تَبْدِيلَ  لِخَلْقِ  ٱللَّـهِ  ذَٰلِكَ  ٱلدِّينُ  ٱلْقَيِّمُ  وَلَٰكِنَّ  أَكْثَرَ  ٱلنَّاسِ  لَا  يَعْلَمُونَ fa‑aqim wajhaka lil‑dīni ḥanīfan fiṭrata allāhi allatī fatarā l‑nāsa ʿalayhā tabdīla likhalqi allāhi dhālika l‑dīnu l‑qayyimu wa‑lākinna akthara l‑nāsi yaʿlamūna
So set thou thy face steadily and truly to the Faith: (establish) Allah's handiwork according to the pattern on which He has made mankind: no change (let there be) in the work (wrought) by Allah: that is the standard Religion: but most among mankind understand not.

Surah 36 Yā Sin (Ya Sin)
(36:22)

وَمَا  لِىَ  لَآ  أَعْبُدُ  ٱلَّذِى  فَطَرَنِى  وَإِلَيْهِ  تُرْجَعُونَ wa‑mā liya aʿbudu alladhī faṭaranī wa‑ilayhi turjaʿūna
"It would not be reasonable in me if I did not serve Him Who created me, and to Whom ye shall (all) be brought back.

Surah 42 al-Shūrā (The Counsel)
(42:5)

تَكَادُ  ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ  يَتَفَطَّرْنَ  مِن  فَوْقِهِنَّ  وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ  يُسَبِّحُونَ  بِحَمْدِ  رَبِّهِمْ  وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ  لِمَن  فِى  ٱلْأَرْضِ  أَلَآ  إِنَّ  ٱللَّـهَ  هُوَ  ٱلْغَفُورُ  ٱلرَّحِيمُ takādu l‑samāwātu yaṭafaṭṭarna min fawqihinna wa‑l‑malāʾikatu yusabbiḥūna bi‑ḥamdi rabbihim wa‑yastaghfirūna li‑man l‑arḍi āla inna allāha huwa l‑ghafūru l‑raḥīmu
The heavens are almost rent asunder from above them (by Him Glory): and the angels celebrate the Praises of their Lord, and pray for forgiveness for (all) beings on earth: Behold! Verily Allah is He, the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Surah 43 al-Zukhruf (The Embellishment)
(43:27)

إِلَّا  ٱلَّذِى  فَطَرَنِى  فَإِنَّهُۥ  سَيَهْدِينِ illā alladhī faṭaranī fa‑innahu sa‑yahdīni
"(I worship) only Him Who made me, and He will certainly guide me."

Surah 82 al-Infiṭār (The Cleaving Asunder)
(82:1)

إِذَا  ٱلسَّمَآءُ  ٱنفَطَرَتْ idhā l‑samāʾu infaṭarat
When the Sky is cleft asunder;
