Sura al-Anʿām 6:21

وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّـهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِـَٔايَٰتِهِۦٓ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُفْلِحُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ

wa-man aẓlamu mimmani iftarā ʿalā allāhi kadhiban aw kadhdhaba bi-āyātihi innahu lā yufliḥu l-ẓālimūna

Who doth more wrong than he who inventeth a lie against Allah or rejecteth His signs? But verily the wrong-doers never shall prosper.

Sura al-Anʿām 6:135

قُلْ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱعْمَلُوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِكُمْ إِنِّى عَامِلٌ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ مَن تَكُونُ لَهُۥ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلدَّارِ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُفْلِحُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ

qul yā-qawmi iʿmalū ʿalā makānatikum innī ʿāmilun fa-sawfa taʿlamūna man takūnu lahu ʿāqibatu l-dāri innahu lā yufliḥu l-ẓālimūna

Say: "O my people! Do whatever ye can: I will do (my part): soon will ye know who it is whose end will be (best) in the Hereafter: certain it is that the wrong-doers will not prosper."

Sura Yūnus 10:17

فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّـهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِـَٔايَٰتِهِۦٓ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُفْلِحُ ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ

fa-man aẓlamu mimmani iftarā ʿalā allāhi kadhiban aw kadhdhaba bi-āyātihi innahu lā yufliḥu l-mujrimūna

Who doth more wrong than such as forge a lie against Allah, or deny His Signs? But never will prosper those who sin.

Sura Yūnus 10:77

قَالَ مُوسَىٰٓ أَتَقُولُونَ لِلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَكُمْ أَسِحْرٌ هَٰذَا وَلَا يُفْلِحُ ٱلسَّٰحِرُونَ

qalā mūsā ataqūlūna lil-ḥaqqi lammā jāʾakum asiḥrun hādhā wa-lā yufliḥu l-sāḥirūna

Said Moses: "Say ye (this) about the truth when it hath (actually) reached you? Is sorcery (like) this? But sorcerers will not prosper."

Sura Yūsuf 12:23

وَرَٰوَدَتْهُ ٱلَّتِى هُوَ فِى بَيْتِهَا عَن نَّفْسِهِۦ وَغَلَّقَتِ ٱلْأَبْوَٰبَ وَقَالَتْ هَيْتَ لَكَ قَالَ مَعَاذَ ٱللَّـهِ إِنَّهُۥ رَبِّىٓ أَحْسَنَ مَثْوَاىَ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُفْلِحُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ

wa-rāwadathu allatī huwa fī baytihā ʿan nafsihi wa-ghallaqati l-abwāba wa-qālat hayta la-ka qalā maʿādha allāhi innahu rabbī aḥsana mathwāya innahu lā yufliḥu l-ẓālimūna

But she in whose house he was, sought to seduce him from his (true) self: she fastened the doors, and said: "Now come, thou (dear one)!" He said: "Allah forbid! truly (thy husband) is my lord! he made my sojourn agreeable! truly to no good come those who do wrong!"

Sura Ṭā Hā 20:64

فَأَجْمِعُوا۟ كَيْدَكُمْ ثُمَّ ٱئْتُوا۟ صَفًّا وَقَدْ أَفْلَحَ ٱلْيَوْمَ مَنِ ٱسْتَعْلَىٰ

fa-ajmiʿū kaydakum thumma iʾtū ṣaffan wa-qad aflaḥa l-yawma mani istaʿlā

"Therefore concert your plan, and then assemble in (serried) ranks: He wins (all along) today who gains the upper hand."

Sura Ṭā Hā 20:69

وَأَلْقِ مَا فِى يَمِينِكَ تَلْقَفْ مَا صَنَعُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَا صَنَعُوا۟ كَيْدُ سَٰحِرٍ وَلَا يُفْلِحُ ٱلسَّاحِرُ حَيْثُ أَتَىٰ

wa-alqi mā fī yamīnika talqaf mā ṣanaʿū innamā ṣanaʿū kaydu sāḥirin wa-lā yufliḥu l-sāḥiru ḥaythu ata

"Throw that which is in thy right hand: Quickly will it swallow up that which they have faked what they have faked is but a magician's trick: and the magician thrives not, (no matter) where he goes."

Sura al-Muʾminūn 23:1

قَدْ أَفْلَحَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ

qad aflaḥa l-muʾminūna

The believers must (eventually) win through,-

Sura al-Muʾminūn 23:117

وَمَن يَدْعُ مَعَ ٱللَّـهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ لَا بُرْهَٰنَ لَهُۥ بِهِۦ فَإِنَّمَا حِسَابُهُۥ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦٓ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُفْلِحُ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ

wa-man yadʿu maʿa allāhi ilāhan ākhara lā burhāna lahu bihi fa-innamā ḥisābuhu ʿinda rabbihi innahu lā yufliḥu l-kāfirūna

If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through!

Sura al-Qaṣaṣ 28:37

وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ رَبِّىٓ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن جَآءَ بِٱلْهُدَىٰ مِنْ عِندِهِۦ وَمَن تَكُونُ لَهُۥ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلدَّارِ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُفْلِحُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ

wa-qāla mūsā rabbī aʿlamu biman jāa bil-hudā min ʿindihi wa-man takūnu lahu ʿāqibatu l-dāri innahu lā yufliḥu l-ẓālimūna

Moses said: "My Lord knows best who it is that comes with guidance from Him and whose end will be best in the Hereafter: certain it is that the wrong-doers will not prosper."

Sura al-Qaṣaṣ 28:82

وَأَصْبَحَ ٱلَّذِينَ تَمَنَّوْا۟ مَكَانَهُۥ بِٱلْأَمْسِ يَقُولُونَ وَيْكَأَنَّ ٱللَّـهَ يَبْسُطُ ٱلرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ وَيَقْدِرُ لَوْلَآ أَن مَّنَّ ٱللَّـهُ عَلَيْنَا لَخَسَفَ بِنَا وَيْكَأَنَّهُۥ لَا يُفْلِحُ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ

wa-aṣbaḥa lladhīna tamannaw makānahu bil-amsi yaqūlūna way-ka-anna allāha yabsuṭu l-rizqa li-man yashāʾu min ʿibādihi wa-yaqdiru lawlā an manna allāhu ʿalaynā la-khasafa binā way-ka-annahu lā yufliḥu l-kāfirūna

And those who had envied his position the day before began to say on the morrow: "Ah! it is indeed Allah Who enlarges the provision or restricts it, to any of His servants He pleases! had it not been that Allah was gracious to us, He could have caused the earth to swallow us up! Ah! those who reject Allah will assuredly never prosper."

Sura al-Aʿlā 87:14

قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ

qad aflaḥa man tazakkā

But those will prosper who purify themselves,

Sura al-Shams 91:9

قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن زَكَّىٰهَا

qad aflaḥa man zakkāhā

Truly he succeeds that purifies it,
