Surah 12 Yūsuf (Joseph)

(12:71)

قَالُوا۟  وَأَقْبَلُوا۟  عَلَيْهِم  مَّاذَا  تَفْقِدُونَ qālū wa‑aqbalū ʿalayhim mādhā tafqidūna
They said, turning towards them: "What is it that ye miss?"
(12:82)

وَسْـَٔلِ  ٱلْقَرْيَةَ  ٱلَّتِى  كُنَّا  فِيهَا  وَٱلْعِيرَ  ٱلَّتِىٓ  أَقْبَلْنَا  فِيهَا  وَإِنَّا  لَصَٰدِقُونَ wa‑sʾali l‑qaryata allatī kunnā fīhā wa‑l‑ʿīra allatī aqbalnā fīhā wa‑innā la‑ṣādiqūna
"'Ask at the town where we have been and the caravan in which we returned, and (you will find) we are indeed telling the truth.'"

Surah 24 al-Nūr (The Light)
(24:4)

وَٱلَّذِينَ  يَرْمُونَ  ٱلْمُحْصَنَٰتِ  ثُمَّ  لَمْ  يَأْتُوا۟  بِأَرْبَعَةِ  شُهَدَآءَ  فَٱجْلِدُوهُمْ  ثَمَٰنِينَ  جَلْدَةً  وَلَا  تَقْبَلُوا۟  لَهُمْ  شَهَٰدَةً  أَبَدًا  وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ  هُمُ  ٱلْفَٰسِقُونَ wa‑lladhīna yarmūna l‑muḥṣanāti thumma lam yaʾtū bi‑arbaʿati shuhadāʾa fa‑ijlidūhum thamānīna jaldatan wa‑lā taqbalū lahum shahādatan abadan wa‑ūlāʾika humu l‑fāsiqūna
And those who launch a charge against chaste women, and produce not four witnesses (to support their allegations),- flog them with eighty stripes; and reject their evidence ever after: for such men are wicked transgressors;-

Surah 37 al-Ṣaffāt (The Rangers)
(37:94)

فَأَقْبَلُوٓا۟  إِلَيْهِ  يَزِفُّونَ fa‑aqbalū ilayhi yaziffūna
Then came (the worshippers) with hurried steps, and faced (him).

Surah 46 al-Aḥqāf (The Sandhills)
(46:16)

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ  ٱلَّذِينَ  نَتَقَبَّلُ  عَنْهُمْ  أَحْسَنَ  مَا  عَمِلُوا۟  وَنَتَجَاوَزُ  عَن  سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ  فِىٓ  أَصْحَٰبِ  ٱلْجَنَّةِ  وَعْدَ  ٱلصِّدْقِ  ٱلَّذِى  كَانُوا۟  يُوعَدُونَ ulāʾika lladhīna nataqabbalu ʿanhum aḥsana ʿamilū wa‑natajāwazu ʿan sayyiʾātihim aṣḥābi l‑jannati waʿda l‑ṣidqi alladhī kānū yūʿadūna
Such are they from whom We shall accept the best of their deeds and pass by their ill deeds: (They shall be) among the Companions of the Garden: a promise! of truth, which was made to them (in this life).
