Sura al-Māʾidah 5:24

قَالُوا۟ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّا لَن نَّدْخُلَهَآ أَبَدًا مَّا دَامُوا۟ فِيهَا فَٱذْهَبْ أَنتَ وَرَبُّكَ فَقَٰتِلَآ إِنَّا هَٰهُنَا قَٰعِدُونَ

qālū yā-mūsā innā lan nnadkhulahā abadan mā dāmū fīhā fadhhab anta wa-rabbuka fa-qātilā innā hāhunā qāʿidūna

They said: "O Moses! while they remain there, never shall we be able to enter, to the end of time. Go thou, and thy Lord, and fight ye two, while we sit here (and watch)."

Sura al-Qaṣaṣ 28:15

وَدَخَلَ ٱلْمَدِينَةَ عَلَىٰ حِينِ غَفْلَةٍ مِّنْ أَهْلِهَا فَوَجَدَ فِيهَا رَجُلَيْنِ يَقْتَتِلَانِ هَٰذَا مِن شِيعَتِهِۦ وَهَٰذَا مِنْ عَدُوِّهِۦ فَٱسْتَغَٰثَهُ ٱلَّذِى مِن شِيعَتِهِۦ عَلَى ٱلَّذِى مِنْ عَدُوِّهِۦ فَوَكَزَهُۥ مُوسَىٰ فَقَضَىٰ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ هَٰذَا مِنْ عَمَلِ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ إِنَّهُۥ عَدُوٌّ مُّضِلٌّ مُّبِينٌ

wa-dakhala l-madīnata ʿalā ḥīni ghaflatin min ahlihā fa-wajada fīhā rajulayni yaqtatilāni hādhā min shīʿatihi wa-hādhā min ʿaduwwihi fa-istaghāthahu alladhī min shīʿatihi ʿalā alladhī min ʿaduwwihi fa-wakazahu mūsā fa-qaḍa ʿalayhi qalā hādhā min ʿamali l-shayṭāni innahu ʿaduwwun muḍillun mubīnun

And he entered the city at a time when its people were not watching: and he found there two men fighting,- one of his own religion, and the other, of his foes. Now the man of his own religion appealed to him against his foe, and Moses struck him with his fist and made an end of him. He said: "This is a work of Evil (Satan): for he is an enemy that manifestly misleads!"
