Sura al-Baqara 2:95

وَلَن يَتَمَنَّوْهُ أَبَدًۢا بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَٱللَّـهُ عَلِيمٌۢ بِٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

wa-lan yatamannawhu abadan bi-mā qaddamat aydīhim wallāhu ʿalīmun bil-ẓālimīna

But they will never seek for death, on account of the (sins) which their hands have sent on before them. and Allah is well-acquainted with the wrong-doers.

Sura al-Baqara 2:110

وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوا۟ لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ ٱللَّـهِ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ

wa-aqīmū l-ṣalāta wa-ātū l-zakāta wa-mā tuqaddimū li-anfusikum min khayrin tajidūhu ʿinda allāhi inna allāha bi-mā taʿmalūna baṣīrun

And be steadfast in prayer and regular in charity: And whatever good ye send forth for your souls before you, ye shall find it with Allah: for Allah sees Well all that ye do.

Sura al-Baqara 2:223

نِسَآؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَّكُمْ فَأْتُوا۟ حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّىٰ شِئْتُمْ وَقَدِّمُوا۟ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّكُم مُّلَٰقُوهُ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

nisāʾukum ḥarthun la-kum fa-ʾtū ḥarthakum annā shiʾtum wa-qaddimū li-anfusikum wa-ittaqū allāha wa-iʿlamū annakum mulāqūhu wa-bashshiri l-muʾminīna

Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will; but do some good act for your souls beforehand; and fear Allah. And know that ye are to meet Him (in the Hereafter), and give (these) good tidings to those who believe.

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:182

ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّـهَ لَيْسَ بِظَلَّامٍ لِّلْعَبِيدِ

dhālika bi-mā qaddamat aydīkum wa-anna allāha laysa bi-ẓallāmin lil-ʿabīdi

"This is because of the (unrighteous deeds) which your hands sent on before ye: For Allah never harms those who serve Him."

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:62

فَكَيْفَ إِذَآ أَصَٰبَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ ثُمَّ جَآءُوكَ يَحْلِفُونَ بِٱللَّـهِ إِنْ أَرَدْنَآ إِلَّآ إِحْسَٰنًا وَتَوْفِيقًا

fa-kayfa idhā aṣābathum muṣībatun bi-mā qaddamat aydīhim thumma jāʾūka yaḥlifūna billāhi in aradnā illā iḥsānan wa-tawfīqan

How then, when they are seized by misfortune, because of the deeds which they hands have sent forth? Then their come to thee, swearing by Allah: "We meant no more than good-will and conciliation!"

Sura al-Māʾidah 5:80

تَرَىٰ كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُمْ يَتَوَلَّوْنَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَبِئْسَ مَا قَدَّمَتْ لَهُمْ أَنفُسُهُمْ أَن سَخِطَ ٱللَّـهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَفِى ٱلْعَذَابِ هُمْ خَٰلِدُونَ

tara kathīran minhum yatawallawna lladhīna kafarū la-biʾsa mā qaddamat lahum anfusuhum an sakhiṭa allāhu ʿalayhim wa-fī l-ʿadhābi hum khālidūna

Thou seest many of them turning in friendship to the Unbelievers. Evil indeed are (the works) which their souls have sent forward before them (with the result), that Allah's wrath is on them, and in torment will they abide.

Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:34

وَلِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلٌ فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمْ لَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ سَاعَةً وَلَا يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ

wa-li-kulli ummatin ajalun fa-idhā jāa ajaluhum lā yastaʾkhirūna sāʿatan wa-lā yastaqdimūna

To every people is a term appointed: when their term is reached, not an hour can they cause delay, nor (an hour) can they advance (it in anticipation).

Sura al-Anfāl 8:51

ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّـهَ لَيْسَ بِظَلَّٰمٍ لِّلْعَبِيدِ

dhālika bi-mā qaddamat aydīkum wa-anna allāha laysa bi-ẓallāmin lil-ʿabīdi

"Because of (the deeds) which your (own) hands sent forth; for Allah is never unjust to His servants:

Sura Yūnus 10:49

قُل لَّآ أَمْلِكُ لِنَفْسِى ضَرًّا وَلَا نَفْعًا إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّـهُ لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلٌ إِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَلَا يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ سَاعَةً وَلَا يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ

qul lā amliku li-nafsī ḍarran wa-lā nafʿan illā mā shāʾa allāhu li-kulli ummatin ajalun idhā jāa ajaluhum fa-lā yastaʾkhirūna sāʿatan wa-lā yastaqdimūna

Say: "I have no power over any harm or profit to myself except as Allah willeth. To every people is a term appointed: when their term is reached, not an hour can they cause delay, nor (an hour) can they advance (it in anticipation)."

Sura Hūd 11:98

يَقْدُمُ قَوْمَهُۥ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ فَأَوْرَدَهُمُ ٱلنَّارَ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْوِرْدُ ٱلْمَوْرُودُ

yaqdumu qawmahu yawma l-qiyāmati fa-awradahumu l-nāra wa-bisa l-wirdu l-mawrūdu

He will go before his people on the Day of Judgment, and lead them into the Fire (as cattle are led to water): But woeful indeed will be the place to which they are led!

Sura Yūsuf 12:48

ثُمَّ يَأْتِى مِنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ سَبْعٌ شِدَادٌ يَأْكُلْنَ مَا قَدَّمْتُمْ لَهُنَّ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا مِّمَّا تُحْصِنُونَ

thumma yaʾtī min baʿdi dhālika sabʿun shidādun yakulna mā qaddamtum la-hunna illā qalīlan mimmā tuḥṣinūna

"Then will come after that (period) seven dreadful (years), which will devour what ye shall have laid by in advance for them,- (all) except a little which ye shall have (specially) guarded.

Sura al-Naḥl 16:61

وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّـهُ ٱلنَّاسَ بِظُلْمِهِم مَّا تَرَكَ عَلَيْهَا مِن دَآبَّةٍ وَلَٰكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمْ لَا يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ سَاعَةً وَلَا يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ

wa-law yuākhidhu allāhu l-nāsa biẓulmihim mā taraka ʿalayhā min dābbatin wa-lākin yuʾakhkhiruhum ila ajalin musamman fa-idhā jāa ajaluhum lā yastaʾkhirūna sāʿatan wa-lā yastaqdimūna

If Allah were to punish men for their wrong-doing, He would not leave, on the (earth), a single living creature: but He gives them respite for a stated Term: When their Term expires, they would not be able to delay (the punishment) for a single hour, just as they would not be able to anticipate it (for a single hour).

Sura al-Kahf 18:57

وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن ذُكِّرَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِۦ فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهَا وَنَسِىَ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ أَكِنَّةً أَن يَفْقَهُوهُ وَفِىٓ ءَاذَانِهِمْ وَقْرًا وَإِن تَدْعُهُمْ إِلَى ٱلْهُدَىٰ فَلَن يَهْتَدُوٓا۟ إِذًا أَبَدًا

wa-man aẓlamu mimman dhukkira bi-āyāti rabbihi fa-aʿraḍa ʿanhā wa-nasiya mā qaddamat yadāhu innā jaʿalnā ʿalā qulūbihim akinnatan an yafqahūhu wa-fī ādhānihim waqran wa-in tadʿuhum ilā l-hudā fa-lan yahtadū idhan abadan

And who doth more wrong than one who is reminded of the Signs of his Lord, but turns away from them, forgetting the (deeds) which his hands have sent forth? Verily We have set veils over their hearts lest they should understand this, and over their ears, deafness, if thou callest them to guidance, even then will they never accept guidance.

Sura al-Ḥajj 22:10

ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاكَ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّـهَ لَيْسَ بِظَلَّٰمٍ لِّلْعَبِيدِ

dhālika bi-mā qaddamat yadāka wa-anna allāha laysa bi-ẓallāmin lil-ʿabīdi

(It will be said): "This is because of the deeds which thy hands sent forth, for verily Allah is not unjust to His servants.

Sura al-Furqān 25:23

وَقَدِمْنَآ إِلَىٰ مَا عَمِلُوا۟ مِنْ عَمَلٍ فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ هَبَآءً مَّنثُورًا

wa-qadimnā ilā mā ʿamilū min ʿamalin fa-jaʿalnāhu habāʾan manthūran

And We shall turn to whatever deeds they did (in this life), and We shall make such deeds as floating dust scattered about.

Sura al-Qaṣaṣ 28:47

وَلَوْلَآ أَن تُصِيبَهُم مُّصِيبَةٌۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ فَيَقُولُوا۟ رَبَّنَا لَوْلَآ أَرْسَلْتَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولًا فَنَتَّبِعَ ءَايَٰتِكَ وَنَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

wa-lawlā an tuṣībahum muṣībatun bi-mā qaddamat aydīhim fa-yaqūlu rabbanā lawlā arsalta ilaynā rasūlan fa-nattabiʿa āyātika wa-nakūna mina l-muʾminīna

If (We had) not (sent thee to the Quraish),- in case a calamity should seize them for (the deeds) that their hands have sent forth, they might say: "Our Lord! why didst Thou not sent us a messenger? We should then have followed Thy Signs and been amongst those who believe!"

Sura al-Rūm 30:36

وَإِذَآ أَذَقْنَا ٱلنَّاسَ رَحْمَةً فَرِحُوا۟ بِهَا وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ إِذَا هُمْ يَقْنَطُونَ

wa-idhā adhaqnā l-nāsa raḥmatan fariḥū bihā wa-in tuṣibhum sayyiatun bi-mā qaddamat aydīhim idhā hum yaqnaṭūna

When We give men a taste of Mercy, they exult thereat: and when some evil afflicts them because of what their (own) hands have sent forth, behold, they are in despair!

Sura Sabaʾ 34:30

قُل لَّكُم مِّيعَادُ يَوْمٍ لَّا تَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ عَنْهُ سَاعَةً وَلَا تَسْتَقْدِمُونَ

qul llakum mīʿādu yawmin lā tastaʾkhirūna ʿanhu sāʿatan wa-lā tastaqdimūna

Say: "The appointment to you is for a Day, which ye cannot put back for an hour nor put forward."

Sura Yā Sin 36:12

إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْىِ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا۟ وَءَاثَٰرَهُمْ وَكُلَّ شَىْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَٰهُ فِىٓ إِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ

innā naḥnu nuḥyi l-mawtā wa-naktubu mā qaddamū wa-āthārahum wa-kulla shayʾin aḥṣaynāhu fī imāmin mubīnin

Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence).

Sura Ṣād 38:60

قَالُوا۟ بَلْ أَنتُمْ لَا مَرْحَبًۢا بِكُمْ أَنتُمْ قَدَّمْتُمُوهُ لَنَا فَبِئْسَ ٱلْقَرَارُ

qālū bal antum lā marḥaban bikum antum qaddamtumūhu la-nā fa-biʾsa l-qarāru

(The followers shall cry to the misleaders:) "Nay, ye (too)! No welcome for you! It is ye who have brought this upon us! Now evil is (this) place to stay in!"

Sura Ṣād 38:61

قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا مَن قَدَّمَ لَنَا هَٰذَا فَزِدْهُ عَذَابًا ضِعْفًا فِى ٱلنَّارِ

qālū rabbanā man qaddama la-nā hādhā fazidhu ʿadhāban ḍiʿfan fī l-nāri

They will say: "Our Lord! whoever brought this upon us,- Add to him a double Penalty in the Fire!"

Sura al-Shūrā 42:48

فَإِنْ أَعْرَضُوا۟ فَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَفِيظًا إِنْ عَلَيْكَ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ وَإِنَّآ إِذَآ أَذَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مِنَّا رَحْمَةً فَرِحَ بِهَا وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ فَإِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ كَفُورٌ

fa-in aʿraḍū fa-mā arsalnāka ʿalayhim ḥafīẓan in ʿalayka illā l-balāghu wa-innā idhā adhaqnā l-insāna minnā raḥmatan fariḥa bihā wa-in tuṣibhum sayyiatun bi-mā qaddamat aydīhim fa-inna l-insāna kafūrun

If then they run away, We have not sent thee as a guard over them. Thy duty is but to convey (the Message). And truly, when We give man a taste of a Mercy from Ourselves, he doth exult thereat, but when some ill happens to him, on account of the deeds which his hands have sent forth, truly then is man ungrateful!

Sura al-Fatḥ 48:2

لِّيَغْفِرَ لَكَ ٱللَّـهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِن ذَنۢبِكَ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ وَيُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَهُۥ عَلَيْكَ وَيَهْدِيَكَ صِرَٰطًا مُّسْتَقِيمًا

li-yaghfira la-ka allāhu mā taqaddama min dhanbika wa-mā taʾakhkhara wa-yutimma niʿmatahu ʿalayka wa-yahdiyaka ṣirāṭan mustaqīman

That Allah may forgive thee thy faults of the past and those to follow; fulfil His favour to thee; and guide thee on the Straight Way;

Sura al-Ḥujurāt 49:1

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تُقَدِّمُوا۟ بَيْنَ يَدَىِ ٱللَّـهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ

yā-ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū lā tuqaddimū bayna yadayi allāhi wa-rasūlihi wa-ittaqū allāha inna allāha samīʿun ʿalīmun

O Ye who believe! Put not yourselves forward before Allah and His Messenger; but fear Allah: for Allah is He Who hears and knows all things.

Sura Qāf 50:28

قَالَ لَا تَخْتَصِمُوا۟ لَدَىَّ وَقَدْ قَدَّمْتُ إِلَيْكُم بِٱلْوَعِيدِ

qalā lā takhtaṣimū ladayya wa-qad qaddamtu ilaykum bil-waʿīdi

He will say: "Dispute not with each other in My Presence: I had already in advance sent you Warning.

Sura al-Mujādilah 58:12

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِذَا نَٰجَيْتُمُ ٱلرَّسُولَ فَقَدِّمُوا۟ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ نَجْوَىٰكُمْ صَدَقَةً ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ وَأَطْهَرُ فَإِن لَّمْ تَجِدُوا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

yā-ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū idhā nājaytumu l-rasūla faqaddimū bayna yada najwakum ṣadaqatan dhālika khayrun la-kum wa-aṭharu fa-in lam tajidū fa-inna allāha ghafūrun raḥīmun

O ye who believe! When ye consult the Messenger in private, spend something in charity before your private consultation. That will be best for you, and most conducive to purity (of conduct). But if ye find not (the wherewithal), Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Sura al-Mujādilah 58:13

ءَأَشْفَقْتُمْ أَن تُقَدِّمُوا۟ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ نَجْوَىٰكُمْ صَدَقَٰتٍ فَإِذْ لَمْ تَفْعَلُوا۟ وَتَابَ ٱللَّـهُ عَلَيْكُمْ فَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَٱللَّـهُ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ

aashfaqtum an tuqaddimū bayna yada najwakum ṣadaqātin faidh lam tafʿalū wa-tāba allāhu ʿalaykum fa-aqīmū l-ṣalāta wa-ātū l-zakāta wa-aṭīʿū allāha wa-rasūlahu wallāhu khabīrun bi-mā taʿmalūna

Is it that ye are afraid of spending sums in charity before your private consultation (with him)? If, then, ye do not so, and Allah forgives you, then (at least) establish regular prayer; practise regular charity; and obey Allah and His Messenger. And Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.

Sura al-Ḥashr 59:18

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ وَلْتَنظُرْ نَفْسٌ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ لِغَدٍ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ

yā-ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū ittaqū allāha waltanẓur nafsun mā qaddamat lighadin wa-ittaqū allāha inna allāha khabīrun bi-mā taʿmalūna

O ye who believe! Fear Allah, and let every soul look to what (provision) He has sent forth for the morrow. Yea, fear Allah: for Allah is well-acquainted with (all) that ye do.

Sura al-Jumuʿah 62:7

وَلَا يَتَمَنَّوْنَهُۥٓ أَبَدًۢا بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَٱللَّـهُ عَلِيمٌۢ بِٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

wa-lā yatamannawnahu abadan bi-mā qaddamat aydīhim wallāhu ʿalīmun bil-ẓālimīna

But never will they express their desire (for Death), because of the (deeds) their hands have sent on before them! and Allah knows well those that do wrong!

Sura al-Muzzammil 73:20

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ تَقُومُ أَدْنَىٰ مِن ثُلُثَىِ ٱلَّيْلِ وَنِصْفَهُۥ وَثُلُثَهُۥ وَطَآئِفَةٌ مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ مَعَكَ وَٱللَّـهُ يُقَدِّرُ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ عَلِمَ أَن لَّن تُحْصُوهُ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ فَٱقْرَءُوا۟ مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنَ ٱلْقُرْءَانِ عَلِمَ أَن سَيَكُونُ مِنكُم مَّرْضَىٰ وَءَاخَرُونَ يَضْرِبُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ يَبْتَغُونَ مِن فَضْلِ ٱللَّـهِ وَءَاخَرُونَ يُقَٰتِلُونَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّـهِ فَٱقْرَءُوا۟ مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنْهُ وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَقْرِضُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوا۟ لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ ٱللَّـهِ هُوَ خَيْرًا وَأَعْظَمَ أَجْرًا وَٱسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌۢ

inna rabbaka yaʿlamu annaka taqūmu adnā min thuluthai l-layli wa-niṣfahu wa-thuluthahu wa-ṭāifatun mina lladhīna maʿaka wallāhu yuqaddiru l-layla wa-l-nahāra ʿalima an lan tuḥṣūhu fatāba ʿalaykum fa-iqraʾū mā tayassara mina l-qurʾāni ʿalima an sa-yakūnu minkum marḍā wa-ākharūna yaḍribūna fī l-arḍi yabtaghūna min faḍli allāhi wa-ākharūna yuqātilūna fī sabīli allāhi fa-iqraʾū mā tayassara minhu wa-aqīmū l-ṣalāta wa-ātū l-zakāta wa-aqriḍū allāha qarḍan ḥasanan wa-mā tuqaddimū li-anfusikum min khayrin tajidūhu ʿinda allāhi huwa khayran wa-aʿẓama ajran wa-astaghfirū allāha inna allāha ghafūrun rraḥīmun

Thy Lord doth know that thou standest forth (to prayer) nigh two-thirds of the night, or half the night, or a third of the night, and so doth a party of those with thee. But Allah doth appoint night and day in due measure He knoweth that ye are unable to keep count thereof. So He hath turned to you (in mercy): read ye, therefore, of the Qur'an as much as may be easy for you. He knoweth that there may be (some) among you in ill-health; others travelling through the land, seeking of Allah's bounty; yet others fighting in Allah's Cause, read ye, therefore, as much of the Qur'an as may be easy (for you); and establish regular Prayer and give regular Charity; and loan to Allah a Beautiful Loan. And whatever good ye send forth for your souls ye shall find it in Allah's Presence,- yea, better and greater, in Reward and seek ye the Grace of Allah: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Sura al-Muddaththir 74:37

لِمَن شَآءَ مِنكُمْ أَن يَتَقَدَّمَ أَوْ يَتَأَخَّرَ

li-man shāʾa minkum an yataqaddama aw yataʾakhkhara

To any of you that chooses to press forward, or to follow behind;-

Sura al-Qiyāmah 75:13

يُنَبَّؤُا۟ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ

yunabbaʾu l-insānu yawmaʾidhin bi-mā qaddama wa-akhkhara

That Day will Man be told (all) that he put forward, and all that he put back.

Sura al-Nabaʾ 78:40

إِنَّآ أَنذَرْنَٰكُمْ عَذَابًا قَرِيبًا يَوْمَ يَنظُرُ ٱلْمَرْءُ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُ وَيَقُولُ ٱلْكَافِرُ يَٰلَيْتَنِى كُنتُ تُرَٰبًۢا

innā andharnākum ʿadhāban qarīban yawma yanẓuru l-marʾu mā qaddamat yadāhu wa-yaqūlu l-kāfiru yā-laytanī kuntu turāban

Verily, We have warned you of a Penalty near, the Day when man will see (the deeds) which his hands have sent forth, and the Unbeliever will say, "Woe unto me! Would that I were (metre) dust!"

Sura al-Infiṭār 82:5

عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ

ʿalimat nafsun mā qaddamat wa-akhkharat

(Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back.

Sura al-Fajr 89:24

يَقُولُ يَٰلَيْتَنِى قَدَّمْتُ لِحَيَاتِى

yaqūlu yā-laytanī qaddamtu li-ḥayātī

He will say: "Ah! Would that I had sent forth (good deeds) for (this) my (Future) Life!"
