Sura Ṭā Hā 20:87

قَالُوا۟ مَآ أَخْلَفْنَا مَوْعِدَكَ بِمَلْكِنَا وَلَٰكِنَّا حُمِّلْنَآ أَوْزَارًا مِّن زِينَةِ ٱلْقَوْمِ فَقَذَفْنَٰهَا فَكَذَٰلِكَ أَلْقَى ٱلسَّامِرِىُّ

qālū mā akhlafnā mawʿidaka bi-malkinā wa-lākinnā ḥummilnā awzāran min zīnati l-qawmi fa-qadhafnāhā fa-ka-dhālika alqā l-sāmiriyyu

They said: "We broke not the promise to thee, as far as lay in our power: but we were made to carry the weight of the ornaments of the (whole) people, and we threw them (into the fire), and that was what the Samiri suggested.

Sura al-Anbiyāʾ 21:18

بَلْ نَقْذِفُ بِٱلْحَقِّ عَلَى ٱلْبَٰطِلِ فَيَدْمَغُهُۥ فَإِذَا هُوَ زَاهِقٌ وَلَكُمُ ٱلْوَيْلُ مِمَّا تَصِفُونَ

bal naqdhifu bil-ḥaqqi ʿalā l-bāṭili fa-yadmaghuhu fa-idhā huwa zāhiqun wa-lakumu l-waylu mimmā taṣifūna

Nay, We hurl the Truth against falsehood, and it knocks out its brain, and behold, falsehood doth perish! Ah! woe be to you for the (false) things ye ascribe (to Us).

Sura Sabaʾ 34:53

وَقَدْ كَفَرُوا۟ بِهِۦ مِن قَبْلُ وَيَقْذِفُونَ بِٱلْغَيْبِ مِن مَّكَانٍۭ بَعِيدٍ

wa-qad kafarū bihi min qablu wa-yaqdhifūna bil-ghaybi min makānin baʿīdin

Seeing that they did reject Faith (entirely) before, and that they (continually) cast (slanders) on the unseen from a position far off?

Sura al-Ṣaffāt 37:8

لَّا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى ٱلْمَلَإِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ وَيُقْذَفُونَ مِن كُلِّ جَانِبٍ

lā yassammaʿūna ilā l-malāʾi l-aʿlā wa-yuqdhafūna min kulli jānibin

(So) they should not strain their ears in the direction of the Exalted Assembly but be cast away from every side,
