(2:35)

We said: "O Adam! dwell thou and thy wife in the Garden; and eat of the bountiful things therein as (where and when) ye will; but approach not this tree, or ye run into harm and transgression."
(2:187)

Permitted to you, on the night of the fasts, is the approach to your wives. They are your garments and ye are their garments. Allah knoweth what ye used to do secretly among yourselves; but He turned to you and forgave you; so now associate with them, and seek what Allah Hath ordained for you, and eat and drink, until the white thread of dawn appear to you distinct from its black thread; then complete your fast Till the night appears; but do not associate with your wives while ye are in retreat in the mosques. Those are Limits (set by) Allah: Approach not nigh thereto. Thus doth Allah make clear His Signs to men: that they may learn self-restraint.
(2:222)

وَيَسْـَٔلُونَكَ  عَنِ  ٱلْمَحِيضِ  قُلْ  هُوَ  أَذًى  فَٱعْتَزِلُوا۟  ٱلنِّسَآءَ  فِى  ٱلْمَحِيضِ  وَلَا  تَقْرَبُوهُنَّ  حَتَّىٰ  يَطْهُرْنَ  فَإِذَا  تَطَهَّرْنَ  فَأْتُوهُنَّ  مِنْ  حَيْثُ  أَمَرَكُمُ  ٱللَّـهُ  إِنَّ  ٱللَّـهَ  يُحِبُّ  ٱلتَّوَّٰبِينَ  وَيُحِبُّ  ٱلْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ wa‑yasʾalūnaka ʿani l‑maḥīḍi qul huwa adhan faʿtazilū l‑nisāʾa l‑maḥīḍi wa‑lā taqrabūhunna ḥattā yaṭhurna fa‑idhā taṭahharna fatūhunna min ḥaythu amarakumu allāhu inna allāha yuḥibbu l‑tawwābīna wa‑yuḥibbu l‑mutaṭahhirīna
They ask thee concerning women's courses. Say: They are a hurt and a pollution: So keep away from women in their courses, and do not approach them until they are clean. But when they have purified themselves, ye may approach them in any manner, time, or place ordained for you by Allah. For Allah loves those who turn to Him constantly and He loves those who keep themselves pure and clean.

Surah 4 al-Nisāʾ (The Women)
(4:43)

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا  ٱلَّذِينَ  ءَامَنُوا۟  لَا  تَقْرَبُوا۟  ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ  وَأَنتُمْ  سُكَٰرَىٰ  حَتَّىٰ  تَعْلَمُوا۟  مَا  تَقُولُونَ  وَلَا  جُنُبًا  إِلَّا  عَابِرِى  سَبِيلٍ  حَتَّىٰ  تَغْتَسِلُوا۟  وَإِن  كُنتُم  مَّرْضَىٰٓ  أَوْ  عَلَىٰ  سَفَرٍ  أَوْ  جَآءَ  أَحَدٌ  مِّنكُم  مِّنَ  ٱلْغَآئِطِ  أَوْ  لَٰمَسْتُمُ  ٱلنِّسَآءَ  فَلَمْ  تَجِدُوا۟  مَآءً  فَتَيَمَّمُوا۟  صَعِيدًا  طَيِّبًا  فَٱمْسَحُوا۟  بِوُجُوهِكُمْ  وَأَيْدِيكُمْ  إِنَّ  ٱللَّـهَ  كَانَ  عَفُوًّا  غَفُورًا yā‑ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū taqrabū l‑ṣalāta wa‑antum sukāra ḥattā taʿlamū taqūlūna wa‑lā junuban illā ʿābirī sabīlin ḥattā taghtasilū wa‑in kuntum marḍā aw ʿalā safarin aw jāa aḥadun minkum mina l‑ghāʾiṭi aw lāmastumu l‑nisāʾa falam tajidū māʾan fa‑tayammamū ṣaʿīdan ṭayyiban fa‑amsaḥū biwujūhikum wa‑aydīkum inna allāha kāna ʿafūwan ghafūran
O ye who believe! Approach not prayers with a mind befogged, until ye can understand all that ye say,- nor in a state of ceremonial impurity (Except when travelling on the road), until after washing your whole body. If ye are ill, or on a journey, or one of you cometh from offices of nature, or ye have been in contact with women, and ye find no water, then take for yourselves clean sand or earth, and rub therewith your faces and hands. For Allah doth blot out sins and forgive again and again.

Surah 5 al-Māʾidah (The Table Spread)
(5:27)

وَٱتْلُ  عَلَيْهِمْ  نَبَأَ  ٱبْنَىْ  ءَادَمَ  بِٱلْحَقِّ  إِذْ  قَرَّبَا  قُرْبَانًا  فَتُقُبِّلَ  مِنْ  أَحَدِهِمَا  وَلَمْ  يُتَقَبَّلْ  مِنَ  ٱلْأَخَرِ  قَالَ  لَأَقْتُلَنَّكَ  قَالَ  إِنَّمَا  يَتَقَبَّلُ  ٱللَّـهُ  مِنَ  ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ wa‑itlu ʿalayhim nabaʾa abna ādama bil‑ḥaqqi idh qarrabā qurbānan fa‑tuqubbila min aḥadihimā wa‑lam yutaqabbal mina l‑akhari qalā la‑aqtulannaka qalā innamā yataqabbalu allāhu mina l‑muttaqīna
Recite to them the truth of the story of the two sons of Adam. Behold! they each presented a sacrifice (to Allah): It was accepted from one, but not from the other. Said the latter: "Be sure I will slay thee." "Surely," said the former, "Allah doth accept of the sacrifice of those who are righteous.

Surah 6 al-Anʿām (The Cattle)

Say: "Come, I will rehearse what Allah hath (really) prohibited you from": Join not anything as equal with Him; be good to your parents; kill not your children on a plea of want;- We provide sustenance for you and for them;- come not nigh to shameful deeds. Whether open or secret; take not life, which Allah hath made sacred, except by way of justice and law: thus doth He command you, that ye may learn wisdom.

And come not nigh to the orphan's property, except to improve it, until he attain the age of full strength; give measure and weight with (full) justice;- no burden do We place on any soul, but that which it can bear;- whenever ye speak, speak justly, even if a near relative is concerned; and fulfil the covenant of Allah: thus doth He command you, that ye may remember.

Surah 7 al-Aʿrāf (The Heights)

Do they see nothing in the government of the heavens and the earth and all that Allah hath created? (Do they not see) that it may well be that their terms is nigh drawing to an end? In what message after this will they then believe?

Surah 9 al-Tawbah (Repentance)
(9:28)

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا  ٱلَّذِينَ  ءَامَنُوٓا۟  إِنَّمَا  ٱلْمُشْرِكُونَ  نَجَسٌ  فَلَا  يَقْرَبُوا۟  ٱلْمَسْجِدَ  ٱلْحَرَامَ  بَعْدَ  عَامِهِمْ  هَٰذَا  وَإِنْ  خِفْتُمْ  عَيْلَةً  فَسَوْفَ  يُغْنِيكُمُ  ٱللَّـهُ  مِن  فَضْلِهِۦٓ  إِن  شَآءَ  إِنَّ  ٱللَّـهَ  عَلِيمٌ  حَكِيمٌ yā‑ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū innamā l‑mushrikūna najasun fa‑lā yaqrabū l‑masjida l‑ḥarāma baʿda ʿāmihim hādhā wa‑in khiftum ʿaylatan fa‑sawfa yughnīkumu allāhu min faḍlihi in shāʾa inna allāha ʿalīmun ḥakīmun
O ye who believe! Truly the Pagans are unclean; so let them not, after this year of theirs, approach the Sacred Mosque. And if ye fear poverty, soon will Allah enrich you, if He wills, out of His bounty, for Allah is All-knowing, All-wise.

Surah 12 Yūsuf (Joseph)

فَإِن  لَّمْ  تَأْتُونِى  بِهِۦ  فَلَا  كَيْلَ  لَكُمْ  عِندِى  وَلَا  تَقْرَبُونِ fa‑in lam taʾtūnī bihi fa‑lā kayla la‑kum ʿindī wa‑lā taqrabūni

Surah 17 al-Isrāʾ (The Children of Israel)
(17:32)

Nor come nigh to adultery: for it is a shameful (deed) and an evil, opening the road (to other evils).
(17:34)

Surah 19 Maryam (Mary)
(19:52)

Closer and closer to mankind comes their Reckoning: yet they heed not and they turn away.
(21:97)

وَمَآ  أَمْوَٰلُكُمْ  وَلَآ  أَوْلَٰدُكُم  بِٱلَّتِى  تُقَرِّبُكُمْ  عِندَنَا  زُلْفَىٰٓ  إِلَّا  مَنْ  ءَامَنَ  وَعَمِلَ  صَٰلِحًا  فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ  لَهُمْ  جَزَآءُ  ٱلضِّعْفِ  بِمَا  عَمِلُوا۟  وَهُمْ  فِى  ٱلْغُرُفَٰتِ  ءَامِنُونَ wa‑mā amwālukum wa‑lā awlādukum billatī tuqarribukum ʿindanā zulfa illā man āmana wa‑ʿamila ṣāliḥan fa‑ūlāʾika lahum jazāʾu l‑ḍiʿfi bi‑mā ʿamilū wa‑hum l‑ghurufāti āminūna
It is not your wealth nor your sons, that will bring you nearer to Us in degree: but only those who believe and work righteousness - these are the ones for whom there is a multiplied Reward for their deeds, while secure they (reside) in the dwellings on high!

Surah 39 al-Zumar (The Companies)
(39:3)

أَلَا  لِلَّـهِ  ٱلدِّينُ  ٱلْخَالِصُ  وَٱلَّذِينَ  ٱتَّخَذُوا۟  مِن  دُونِهِۦٓ  أَوْلِيَآءَ  مَا  نَعْبُدُهُمْ  إِلَّا  لِيُقَرِّبُونَآ  إِلَى  ٱللَّـهِ  زُلْفَىٰٓ  إِنَّ  ٱللَّـهَ  يَحْكُمُ  بَيْنَهُمْ  فِى  مَا  هُمْ  فِيهِ  يَخْتَلِفُونَ  إِنَّ  ٱللَّـهَ  لَا  يَهْدِى  مَنْ  هُوَ  كَٰذِبٌ  كَفَّارٌ āla lillāhi l‑dīnu l‑khāliṣu wa‑lladhīna ittakhadhū min dūnihi awliyāʾa naʿbuduhum illā li‑yuqarribūnā ilā allāhi zulfa inna allāha yaḥkumu baynahum hum fīhi yakhtalifūna inna allāha yahdī man huwa kādhibun kaffārun
Is it not to Allah that sincere devotion is due? But those who take for protectors other than Allah (say): "We only serve them in order that they may bring us nearer to Allah." Truly Allah will judge between them in that wherein they differ. But Allah guides not such as are false and ungrateful.

Surah 51 al-Dhāriyāt (The Scatterers)

And placed it before them.. he said, "Will ye not eat?"

Surah 54 al-Qamar (The Moon)

The Hour (of Judgment) is nigh, and the moon is cleft asunder.

Surah 96 al-ʿAlaq (The Clot)
(96:19)

كَلَّا  لَا  تُطِعْهُ  وَٱسْجُدْ  وَٱقْتَرِب kallā tuṭiʿhu wa‑isjud wa‑iqtarib
Day, heed him not: But bow down in adoration, and bring thyself the closer (to Allah)!
