Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:176

وَلَوْ شِئْنَا لَرَفَعْنَٰهُ بِهَا وَلَٰكِنَّهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱتَّبَعَ هَوَىٰهُ فَمَثَلُهُۥ كَمَثَلِ ٱلْكَلْبِ إِن تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْهِ يَلْهَثْ أَوْ تَتْرُكْهُ يَلْهَث ذَّٰلِكَ مَثَلُ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا فَٱقْصُصِ ٱلْقَصَصَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

wa-law shiʾnā la-rafaʿnāhu bihā wa-lā-kinnahu akhlada ilā l-arḍi wa-ittabaʿa hawahu fa-mathaluhu ka-mathali l-kalbi in taḥmil ʿalayhi yalhath aw tatrukhu yalhath dhālika mathalu l-qawmi lladhīna kadhdhabū bi-āyātinā fa-iqṣuṣi l-qaṣaṣa la-ʿallahum yatafakkarūna

If it had been Our will, We should have elevated him with Our signs; but he inclined to the earth, and followed his own vain desires. His similitude is that of a dog: if you attack him, he lolls out his tongue, or if you leave him alone, he (still) lolls out his tongue. That is the similitude of those who reject Our signs; So relate the story; perchance they may reflect.

Sura Yūsuf 12:5

قَالَ يَٰبُنَىَّ لَا تَقْصُصْ رُءْيَاكَ عَلَىٰٓ إِخْوَتِكَ فَيَكِيدُوا۟ لَكَ كَيْدًا إِنَّ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَ لِلْإِنسَٰنِ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ

qalā yā-bunayya lā taqṣuṣ ruʾyāka ʿala ikhwatika fa-yakīdū la-ka kaydan inna l-shayṭāna lil-insāni ʿaduwwun mubīnun

Said (the father): "My (dear) little son! relate not thy vision to thy brothers, lest they concoct a plot against thee: for Satan is to man an avowed enemy!

Sura al-Qaṣaṣ 28:11

وَقَالَتْ لِأُخْتِهِۦ قُصِّيهِ فَبَصُرَتْ بِهِۦ عَن جُنُبٍ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ

wa-qālat li-ukhtihi quṣṣīhi fabaṣurat bihi ʿan junubin wa-hum lā yashʿurūna

And she said to the sister of (Moses), "Follow him" so she (the sister) watched him in the character of a stranger. And they knew not.
