(6:110) | وَنُقَلِّبُ أَفْـِٔدَتَهُمْ وَأَبْصَٰرَهُمْ كَمَا لَمْ يُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِهِۦٓ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَنَذَرُهُمْ فِى طُغْيَٰنِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ | wa‑nuqallibu afʾidatahum wa‑abṣārahum ka‑mā lam yuʾminū bihi awwala marratin wa‑nadharuhum fī ṭughyānihim yaʿmahūna | We (too) shall turn to (confusion) their hearts and their
eyes, even as they refused to believe in this in the first instance: We
shall leave them in their trespasses, to wander in distraction.
Sura al-Anʿām 6:110 وَنُقَلِّبُ أَفْـِٔدَتَهُمْ وَأَبْصَٰرَهُمْ كَمَا لَمْ يُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِهِۦٓ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَنَذَرُهُمْ فِى طُغْيَٰنِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ wa-nuqallibu afʾidatahum wa-abṣārahum ka-mā lam yuʾminū bihi awwala marratin wa-nadharuhum fī ṭughyānihim yaʿmahūna We (too) shall turn to (confusion) their hearts and their eyes, even as they refused to believe in this in the first instance: We shall leave them in their trespasses, to wander in distraction. |
(18:18) | وَتَحْسَبُهُمْ أَيْقَاظًا وَهُمْ رُقُودٌ وَنُقَلِّبُهُمْ ذَاتَ ٱلْيَمِينِ وَذَاتَ ٱلشِّمَالِ وَكَلْبُهُم بَٰسِطٌ ذِرَاعَيْهِ بِٱلْوَصِيدِ لَوِ ٱطَّلَعْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ لَوَلَّيْتَ مِنْهُمْ فِرَارًا وَلَمُلِئْتَ مِنْهُمْ رُعْبًا | wa‑taḥsabuhum ayqāẓan wa‑hum ruqūdun wa‑nuqallibuhum dhāta l‑yamīni wa‑dhāta l‑shimāli wa‑kalbuhum bāsiṭun dhirāʿayhi bil‑waṣīdi lawi iṭṭalaʿta ʿalayhim la‑wallayta minhum firāran wa‑la‑muliʾta minhum ruʿban | Thou wouldst have deemed them awake, whilst they were asleep,
and We turned them on their right and on their left sides: their dog
stretching forth his two fore-legs on the threshold: if thou hadst come up
on to them, thou wouldst have certainly turned back from them in flight,
and wouldst certainly have been filled with terror of them.
