(2:185) | شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أُنزِلَ فِيهِ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَٰتٍ مِّنَ ٱلْهُدَىٰ وَٱلْفُرْقَانِ فَمَن شَهِدَ مِنكُمُ ٱلشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ وَمَن كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ يُرِيدُ ٱللَّـهُ بِكُمُ ٱلْيُسْرَ وَلَا يُرِيدُ بِكُمُ ٱلْعُسْرَ وَلِتُكْمِلُوا۟ ٱلْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَىٰكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | shahru ramaḍāna alladhī unzila fīhi l‑qurʾānu hudan lil‑nāsi wa‑bayyinātin mina l‑hudā wa‑l‑furqāni fa‑man shahida minkumu l‑shahra fa‑l‑yaṣumhu wa‑man kāna marīḍan aw ʿalā safarin faʿiddatun min ayyāmin ukhara yurīdu allāhu bikumu l‑yusra wa‑lā yurīdu bikumu l‑ʿusra wa‑li‑tukmilū l‑ʿiddata wa‑li‑tukabbirū allāha ʿalā mā hadākum wa‑la‑ʿallakum tashkurūna | Ramadhan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur'an, as
a guide to mankind, also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (Between
right and wrong). So every one of you who is present (at his home) during
that month should spend it in fasting, but if any one is ill, or on a
journey, the prescribed period (Should be made up) by days later. Allah
intends every facility for you; He does not want to put to difficulties.
(He wants you) to complete the prescribed period, and to glorify Him in
that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful.

(17:111) | وَقُلِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّـهِ ٱلَّذِى لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ شَرِيكٌ فِى ٱلْمُلْكِ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ وَلِىٌّ مِّنَ ٱلذُّلِّ وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيرًۢا | wa‑quli l‑ḥamdu lillāhi alladhī lam yattakhidh waladan wa‑lam yakun lahu sharīkun fī l‑mulki wa‑lam yakun lahu waliyyun mina l‑dhulli wa‑kabbirhu takbīran | Say: "Praise be to Allah, who begets no son, and has no partner
in (His) dominion: Nor (needs) He any to protect Him from humiliation: yea,
magnify Him for His greatness and glory!"
Sura al-Isrāʾ 17:111 وَقُلِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّـهِ ٱلَّذِى لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ شَرِيكٌ فِى ٱلْمُلْكِ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ وَلِىٌّ مِّنَ ٱلذُّلِّ وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيرًۢا wa-quli l-ḥamdu lillāhi alladhī lam yattakhidh waladan wa-lam yakun lahu sharīkun fī l-mulki wa-lam yakun lahu waliyyun mina l-dhulli wa-kabbirhu takbīran Say: "Praise be to Allah, who begets no son, and has no partner in (His) dominion: Nor (needs) He any to protect Him from humiliation: yea, magnify Him for His greatness and glory!" |
(22:37) | لَن يَنَالَ ٱللَّـهَ لُحُومُهَا وَلَا دِمَآؤُهَا وَلَٰكِن يَنَالُهُ ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ مِنكُمْ كَذَٰلِكَ سَخَّرَهَا لَكُمْ لِتُكَبِّرُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَىٰكُمْ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ | lan yanāla allāha luḥūmuhā wa‑lā dimāʾuhā wa‑lākin yanāluhu l‑taqwā minkum ka‑dhālika sakhkharahā la‑kum li‑tukabbirū allāha ʿalā mā hadākum wa‑bashshiri l‑muḥsinīna | It is not their meat nor their blood, that reaches Allah: it is
your piety that reaches Him: He has thus made them subject to you, that ye
may glorify Allah for His Guidance to you and proclaim the good news to all
who do right.
Sura al-Ḥajj 22:37 لَن يَنَالَ ٱللَّـهَ لُحُومُهَا وَلَا دِمَآؤُهَا وَلَٰكِن يَنَالُهُ ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ مِنكُمْ كَذَٰلِكَ سَخَّرَهَا لَكُمْ لِتُكَبِّرُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَىٰكُمْ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ lan yanāla allāha luḥūmuhā wa-lā dimāʾuhā wa-lākin yanāluhu l-taqwā minkum ka-dhālika sakhkharahā la-kum li-tukabbirū allāha ʿalā mā hadākum wa-bashshiri l-muḥsinīna It is not their meat nor their blood, that reaches Allah: it is your piety that reaches Him: He has thus made them subject to you, that ye may glorify Allah for His Guidance to you and proclaim the good news to all who do right. |
(74:3) | وَرَبَّكَ فَكَبِّرْ | wa‑rabbaka fa‑kabbir | And thy Lord do thou magnify!
Sura al-Muddaththir 74:3 وَرَبَّكَ فَكَبِّرْ wa-rabbaka fa-kabbir And thy Lord do thou magnify! |
