Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:7

لِّلرِّجَالِ نَصِيبٌ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ ٱلْوَٰلِدَانِ وَٱلْأَقْرَبُونَ وَلِلنِّسَآءِ نَصِيبٌ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ ٱلْوَٰلِدَانِ وَٱلْأَقْرَبُونَ مِمَّا قَلَّ مِنْهُ أَوْ كَثُرَ نَصِيبًا مَّفْرُوضًا

lil-rijāli naṣībun mimmā taraka l-wālidāni wa-l-aqrabūna wa-lil-nisāʾi naṣībun mimmā taraka l-wālidāni wa-l-aqrabūna mimmā qalla minhu aw kathura naṣīban mafrūḍan

From what is left by parents and those nearest related there is a share for men and a share for women, whether the property be small or large,-a determinate share.

Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:86

وَلَا تَقْعُدُوا۟ بِكُلِّ صِرَٰطٍ تُوعِدُونَ وَتَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّـهِ مَنْ ءَامَنَ بِهِۦ وَتَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا وَٱذْكُرُوٓا۟ إِذْ كُنتُمْ قَلِيلًا فَكَثَّرَكُمْ وَٱنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ

wa-lā taqʿudū bi-kulli ṣirāṭin tūʿidūna wa-taṣuddūna ʿan sabīli allāhi man āmana bihi wa-tabghūnahā ʿiwajan wa-idhkurū idh kuntum qalīlan fa-kaththarakum wa-anẓurū kayfa kāna ʿāqibatu l-mufsidīna

"And squat not on every road, breathing threats, hindering from the path of Allah those who believe in Him, and seeking in it something crooked; But remember how ye were little, and He gave you increase. And hold in your mind's eye what was the end of those who did mischief.

Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:188

قُل لَّآ أَمْلِكُ لِنَفْسِى نَفْعًا وَلَا ضَرًّا إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّـهُ وَلَوْ كُنتُ أَعْلَمُ ٱلْغَيْبَ لَٱسْتَكْثَرْتُ مِنَ ٱلْخَيْرِ وَمَا مَسَّنِىَ ٱلسُّوٓءُ إِنْ أَنَا۠ إِلَّا نَذِيرٌ وَبَشِيرٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ

qul lā amliku li-nafsī nafʿan wa-lā ḍarran illā mā shāʾa allāhu wa-law kuntu aʿlamu l-ghayba lastakthartu mina l-khayri wa-mā massaniya l-sūʾu in anā illā nadhīrun wa-bashīrun li-qawmin yuʾminūna

Say: "I have no power over any good or harm to myself except as Allah willeth. If I had knowledge of the unseen, I should have multiplied all good, and no evil should have touched me: I am but a warner, and a bringer of glad tidings to those who have faith."

Sura al-Anfāl 8:19

إِن تَسْتَفْتِحُوا۟ فَقَدْ جَآءَكُمُ ٱلْفَتْحُ وَإِن تَنتَهُوا۟ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ وَإِن تَعُودُوا۟ نَعُدْ وَلَن تُغْنِىَ عَنكُمْ فِئَتُكُمْ شَيْـًٔا وَلَوْ كَثُرَتْ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّـهَ مَعَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

in tastaftiḥū fa-qad jāakumu l-fatḥu wa-in tantahū fa-huwa khayrun la-kum wa-in taʿūdū naʿud wa-lan tughniya ʿankum fiʾatukum shayʾan wa-law kathurat wa-anna allāha maʿa l-muʾminīna

(O Unbelievers!) if ye prayed for victory and judgment, now hath the judgment come to you: if ye desist (from wrong), it will be best for you: if ye return (to the attack), so shall We. Not the least good will your forces be to you even if they were multiplied: for verily Allah is with those who believe!

Sura Hūd 11:32

قَالُوا۟ يَٰنُوحُ قَدْ جَٰدَلْتَنَا فَأَكْثَرْتَ جِدَٰلَنَا فَأْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

qālū yānūḥu qad jādaltanā fa-aktharta jidālanā fa-ʾtinā bi-mā taʿidunā in kunta mina l-ṣādiqīna

They said: "O Noah! thou hast disputed with us, and (much) hast thou prolonged the dispute with us: now bring upon us what thou threatenest us with, if thou speakest the truth!?"

Sura al-Muddaththir 74:6

وَلَا تَمْنُن تَسْتَكْثِرُ

wa-lā tamnun tastakthiru

Nor expect, in giving, any increase (for thyself)!
