Surah 17 al-Isrāʾ (The Children of Israel)

(17:92)

أَوْ  تُسْقِطَ  ٱلسَّمَآءَ  كَمَا  زَعَمْتَ  عَلَيْنَا  كِسَفًا  أَوْ  تَأْتِىَ  بِٱللَّـهِ  وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ  قَبِيلًا aw tusqiṭa l‑samāʾa ka‑mā zaʿamta ʿalaynā kisafan aw taʾtiya billāhi wa‑l‑malāʾikati qabīlan
"Or thou cause the sky to fall in pieces, as thou sayest (will happen), against us; or thou bring Allah and the angels before (us) face to face:

Surah 26 al-Shuʿarā (The Poets)
(26:187)

فَأَسْقِطْ  عَلَيْنَا  كِسَفًا  مِّنَ  ٱلسَّمَآءِ  إِن  كُنتَ  مِنَ  ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ fa‑asqiṭ ʿalaynā kisafan mina l‑samāʾi in kunta mina l‑ṣādiqīna
"Now cause a piece of the sky to fall on us, if thou art truthful!"

Surah 30 al-Rūm (The Romans)
(30:48)

ٱللَّـهُ  ٱلَّذِى  يُرْسِلُ  ٱلرِّيَٰحَ  فَتُثِيرُ  سَحَابًا  فَيَبْسُطُهُۥ  فِى  ٱلسَّمَآءِ  كَيْفَ  يَشَآءُ  وَيَجْعَلُهُۥ  كِسَفًا  فَتَرَى  ٱلْوَدْقَ  يَخْرُجُ  مِنْ  خِلَٰلِهِۦ  فَإِذَآ  أَصَابَ  بِهِۦ  مَن  يَشَآءُ  مِنْ  عِبَادِهِۦٓ  إِذَا  هُمْ  يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ allāhu alladhī yursilu l‑riyāḥa fa‑tuthīru saḥāban fa‑yabsuṭuhu l‑samāʾi kayfa yashāʾu wa‑yajʿaluhu kisafan fatarā l‑wadqa yakhruju min khilālihi fa‑idhā aṣāba bihi man yashāʾu min ʿibādihi idhā hum yastabshirūna
It is Allah Who sends the Winds, and they raise the Clouds: then does He spread them in the sky as He wills, and break them into fragments, until thou seest rain-drops issue from the midst thereof: then when He has made them reach such of his servants as He wills behold, they do rejoice!-

Surah 34 Sabaʾ (Sheba)
(34:9)

أَفَلَمْ  يَرَوْا۟  إِلَىٰ  مَا  بَيْنَ  أَيْدِيهِمْ  وَمَا  خَلْفَهُم  مِّنَ  ٱلسَّمَآءِ  وَٱلْأَرْضِ  إِن  نَّشَأْ  نَخْسِفْ  بِهِمُ  ٱلْأَرْضَ  أَوْ  نُسْقِطْ  عَلَيْهِمْ  كِسَفًا  مِّنَ  ٱلسَّمَآءِ  إِنَّ  فِى  ذَٰلِكَ  لَءَايَةً  لِّكُلِّ  عَبْدٍ  مُّنِيبٍ a‑fa‑lam yaraw ilā bayna aydīhim wa‑mā khalfahum mina l‑samāʾi wa‑l‑arḍi in nashaʾ nakhsif bihimu l‑arḍa aw nusqiṭ ʿalayhim kisafan mina l‑samāʾi inna dhālika la‑āyatan li‑kulli ʿabdin munībin
See they not what is before them and behind them, of the sky and the earth? If We wished, We could cause the earth to swallow them up, or cause a piece of the sky to fall upon them. Verily in this is a Sign for every devotee that turns to Allah (in repentance).
