Sura al-Baqara 2:137

فَإِنْ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِمِثْلِ مَآ ءَامَنتُم بِهِۦ فَقَدِ ٱهْتَدَوا۟ وَّإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَإِنَّمَا هُمْ فِى شِقَاقٍ فَسَيَكْفِيكَهُمُ ٱللَّـهُ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ

fa-in āmanū bi-mithli mā āmantum bihi fa-qadi ihtadaw wa-in tawallaw fa-innamā hum fī shiqāqin fa-sa-yakfīkahumu allāhu wa-huwa l-samīʿu l-ʿalīmu

So if they believe as ye believe, they are indeed on the right path; but if they turn back, it is they who are in schism; but Allah will suffice thee as against them, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:124

إِذْ تَقُولُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَلَن يَكْفِيَكُمْ أَن يُمِدَّكُمْ رَبُّكُم بِثَلَٰثَةِ ءَالَٰفٍ مِّنَ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ مُنزَلِينَ

idh taqūlu lil-muʾminīna alan yakfiyakum an yumiddakum rabbukum bi-thalāthati ālāfin mina l-malāʾikati munzalīna

Remember thou saidst to the Faithful: "Is it not enough for you that Allah should help you with three thousand angels (Specially) sent down?

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:6

وَٱبْتَلُوا۟ ٱلْيَتَٰمَىٰ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا بَلَغُوا۟ ٱلنِّكَاحَ فَإِنْ ءَانَسْتُم مِّنْهُمْ رُشْدًا فَٱدْفَعُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَٰلَهُمْ وَلَا تَأْكُلُوهَآ إِسْرَافًا وَبِدَارًا أَن يَكْبَرُوا۟ وَمَن كَانَ غَنِيًّا فَلْيَسْتَعْفِفْ وَمَن كَانَ فَقِيرًا فَلْيَأْكُلْ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ فَإِذَا دَفَعْتُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَٰلَهُمْ فَأَشْهِدُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّـهِ حَسِيبًا

wa-ibtalū l-yatāmā ḥatta idhā balaghū l-nikāḥa fa-in ānastum minhum rushdan fa-idfaʿū ilayhim amwālahum wa-lā takulūhā isrāfan wa-bidāran an yakbarū wa-man kāna ghaniyyan fa-l-yastaʿfif wa-man kāna faqīran fa-l-yāʾkul bil-maʿrūfi fa-idhā dafaʿtum ilayhim amwālahum fa-ashhidū ʿalayhim wa-kafā billāhi ḥasīban

Make trial of orphans until they reach the age of marriage; if then ye find sound judgment in them, release their property to them; but consume it not wastefully, nor in haste against their growing up. If the guardian is well-off, Let him claim no remuneration, but if he is poor, let him have for himself what is just and reasonable. When ye release their property to them, take witnesses in their presence: But all-sufficient is Allah in taking account.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:45

وَٱللَّـهُ أَعْلَمُ بِأَعْدَآئِكُمْ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّـهِ وَلِيًّا وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّـهِ نَصِيرًا

wallāhu aʿlamu bi-aʿdāʾikum wa-kafā billāhi waliyyan wa-kafā billāhi naṣīran

But Allah hath full knowledge of your enemies: Allah is enough for a protector, and Allah is enough for a Helper.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:50

ٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّـهِ ٱلْكَذِبَ وَكَفَىٰ بِهِۦٓ إِثْمًا مُّبِينًا

inẓur kayfa yaftarūna ʿalā allāhi l-kadhiba wa-kafā bihi ithman mubīnan

Behold! how they invent a lie against Allah! but that by itself is a manifest sin!

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:55

فَمِنْهُم مَّنْ ءَامَنَ بِهِۦ وَمِنْهُم مَّن صَدَّ عَنْهُ وَكَفَىٰ بِجَهَنَّمَ سَعِيرًا

fa-minhum man āmana bihi wa-minhum man ṣadda ʿanhu wa-kafā bi-jahannama saʿīran

Some of them believed, and some of them averted their faces from him: And enough is Hell for a burning fire.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:70

ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَضْلُ مِنَ ٱللَّـهِ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّـهِ عَلِيمًا

dhālika l-faḍlu mina allāhi wa-kafā billāhi ʿalīman

Such is the bounty from Allah: And sufficient is it that Allah knoweth all.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:79

مَّآ أَصَابَكَ مِنْ حَسَنَةٍ فَمِنَ ٱللَّـهِ وَمَآ أَصَابَكَ مِن سَيِّئَةٍ فَمِن نَّفْسِكَ وَأَرْسَلْنَٰكَ لِلنَّاسِ رَسُولًا وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّـهِ شَهِيدًا

mā aṣābaka min ḥasanatin fa-mina allāhi wa-mā aṣābaka min sayyiʾatin famin nnafsika wa-arsalnāka lil-nāsi rasūlan wa-kafā billāhi shahīdan

Whatever good, (O man!) happens to thee, is from Allah; but whatever evil happens to thee, is from thy (own) soul. and We have sent thee as a messenger to (instruct) mankind. And enough is Allah for a witness.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:81

وَيَقُولُونَ طَاعَةٌ فَإِذَا بَرَزُوا۟ مِنْ عِندِكَ بَيَّتَ طَآئِفَةٌ مِّنْهُمْ غَيْرَ ٱلَّذِى تَقُولُ وَٱللَّـهُ يَكْتُبُ مَا يُبَيِّتُونَ فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّـهِ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّـهِ وَكِيلًا

wa-yaqūlūna ṭāʿatun fa-idhā barazū min ʿindika bayyata ṭāʾifatun minhum ghayra alladhī taqūlu wallāhu yaktubu mā yubayyitūna fa-aʿriḍ ʿanhum wa-tawakkal ʿalā allāhi wa-kafā billāhi wakīlan

They have "Obedience" on their lips; but when they leave thee, a section of them Meditate all night on things very different from what thou tellest them. But Allah records their nightly (plots): So keep clear of them, and put thy trust in Allah, and enough is Allah as a disposer of affairs.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:132

وَلِلَّەِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّـهِ وَكِيلًا

wa-lillahi mā fī l-samāwāti wa-mā fī l-arḍi wa-kafā billāhi wakīlan

Yea, unto Allah belong all things in the heavens and on earth, and enough is Allah to carry through all affairs.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:166

لَّٰكِنِ ٱللَّـهُ يَشْهَدُ بِمَآ أَنزَلَ إِلَيْكَ أَنزَلَهُۥ بِعِلْمِهِۦ وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ يَشْهَدُونَ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّـهِ شَهِيدًا

lākini allāhu yashhadu bimā anzala ilayka anzalahu biʿilmihi wa-l-malāʾikatu yashhadūna wa-kafā billāhi shahīdan

But Allah beareth witness that what He hath sent unto thee He hath sent from His (own) knowledge, and the angels bear witness: But enough is Allah for a witness.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:171

يَٰٓأَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لَا تَغْلُوا۟ فِى دِينِكُمْ وَلَا تَقُولُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّـهِ إِلَّا ٱلْحَقَّ إِنَّمَا ٱلْمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ رَسُولُ ٱللَّـهِ وَكَلِمَتُهُۥٓ أَلْقَىٰهَآ إِلَىٰ مَرْيَمَ وَرُوحٌ مِّنْهُ فَـَٔامِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّـهِ وَرُسُلِهِۦ وَلَا تَقُولُوا۟ ثَلَٰثَةٌ ٱنتَهُوا۟ خَيْرًا لَّكُمْ إِنَّمَا ٱللَّـهُ إِلَٰهٌ وَٰحِدٌ سُبْحَٰنَهُۥٓ أَن يَكُونَ لَهُۥ وَلَدٌ لَّهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّـهِ وَكِيلًا

yāʾahla l-kitābi lā taghlū fī dīnikum wa-lā taqūlū ʿalā allāhi illā l-ḥaqqa innamā l-masīḥu ʿīsā ibnu maryama rasūlu allāhi wa-kalimatuhu alqahā ilā maryama wa-rūḥun minhu fa-āminū billāhi wa-rusulihi wa-lā taqūlū thalāthatun antahū khayran la-kum innamā allāhu ilāhun wāḥidun subḥānahu an yakūna lahu waladun lahu mā fī l-samāwāti wa-mā fī l-arḍi wa-kafā billāhi wakīlan

O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His messengers. Say not "Trinity" : desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.

Sura Yūnus 10:29

فَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّـهِ شَهِيدًۢا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ إِن كُنَّا عَنْ عِبَادَتِكُمْ لَغَٰفِلِينَ

fa-kafā billāhi shahīdan baynanā wa-baynakum in kunnā ʿan ʿibādatikum la-ghāfilīna

"Enough is Allah for a witness between us and you: we certainly knew nothing of your worship of us!"

Sura al-Raʿd 13:43

وَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَسْتَ مُرْسَلًا قُلْ كَفَىٰ بِٱللَّـهِ شَهِيدًۢا بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكُمْ وَمَنْ عِندَهُۥ عِلْمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ

wa-yaqūlu lladhīna kafarū lasta mursalan qul kafā billāhi shahīdan baynī wa-baynakum wa-man ʿindahu ʿilmu l-kitābi

The Unbelievers say: "No messenger art thou." Say: "Enough for a witness between me and you is Allah, and such as have knowledge of the Book."

Sura al-Ḥijr 15:95

إِنَّا كَفَيْنَٰكَ ٱلْمُسْتَهْزِءِينَ

innā kafaynāka l-mustahziʾīna

For sufficient are We unto thee against those who scoff,-

Sura al-Isrāʾ 17:14

ٱقْرَأْ كِتَٰبَكَ كَفَىٰ بِنَفْسِكَ ٱلْيَوْمَ عَلَيْكَ حَسِيبًا

iqraʾ kitābaka kafā binafsika l-yawma ʿalayka ḥasīban

(It will be said to him:) "Read thine (own) record: Sufficient is thy soul this day to make out an account against thee."

Sura al-Isrāʾ 17:17

وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِنَ ٱلْقُرُونِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ نُوحٍ وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ بِذُنُوبِ عِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيرًۢا بَصِيرًا

wa-kam ahlaknā mina l-qurūni min baʿdi nūḥin wa-kafā bi-rabbika bi-dhunūbi ʿibādihi khabīran baṣīran

How many generations have We destroyed after Noah? and enough is thy Lord to note and see the sins of His servants.

Sura al-Isrāʾ 17:65

إِنَّ عِبَادِى لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَٰنٌ وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ وَكِيلًا

inna ʿibādī laysa la-ka ʿalayhim sulṭānun wa-kafā bi-rabbika wakīlan

"As for My servants, no authority shalt thou have over them:" Enough is thy Lord for a Disposer of affairs.

Sura al-Isrāʾ 17:96

قُلْ كَفَىٰ بِٱللَّـهِ شَهِيدًۢا بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكُمْ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيرًۢا بَصِيرًا

qul kafā billāhi shahīdan baynī wa-baynakum innahu kāna bi-ʿabādihi khabīran baṣīran

Say: "Enough is Allah for a witness between me and you: for He is well acquainted with His servants, and He sees (all things).

Sura al-Anbiyāʾ 21:47

وَنَضَعُ ٱلْمَوَٰزِينَ ٱلْقِسْطَ لِيَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ فَلَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْـًٔا وَإِن كَانَ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٍ أَتَيْنَا بِهَا وَكَفَىٰ بِنَا حَٰسِبِينَ

wa-naḍaʿu l-mawāzīna l-qisṭa li-yawmi l-qiyāmati fa-lā tuẓlamu nafsun shayʾan wa-in kāna mithqāla ḥabbatin min khardalin ataynā bihā wa-kafā binā ḥāsibīna

We shall set up scales of justice for the Day of Judgment, so that not a soul will be dealt with unjustly in the least, and if there be (no more than) the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it (to account): and enough are We to take account.

Sura al-Furqān 25:31

وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِىٍّ عَدُوًّا مِّنَ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ هَادِيًا وَنَصِيرًا

wa-ka-dhālika jaʿalnā li-kulli nabiyyin ʿadūwan mina l-mujrimīna wa-kafā bi-rabbika hādiyan wa-naṣīran

Thus have We made for every prophet an enemy among the sinners: but enough is thy Lord to guide and to help.

Sura al-Furqān 25:58

وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱلْحَىِّ ٱلَّذِى لَا يَمُوتُ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِهِۦ وَكَفَىٰ بِهِۦ بِذُنُوبِ عِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيرًا

wa-tawakkal ʿalā l-ḥayyi alladhī lā yamūtu wa-sabbiḥ bi-ḥamdihi wa-kafā bihi bi-dhunūbi ʿibādihi khabīran

And put thy trust in Him Who lives and dies not; and celebrate his praise; and enough is He to be acquainted with the faults of His servants;-

Sura al-ʿAnkabūt 29:51

أَوَلَمْ يَكْفِهِمْ أَنَّآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَرَحْمَةً وَذِكْرَىٰ لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ

a-wa-lam yakfihim annā anzalnā ʿalayka l-kitāba yutlā ʿalayhim inna fī dhālika la-raḥmatan wa-dhikrā li-qawmin yuʾminūna

And is it not enough for them that we have sent down to thee the Book which is rehearsed to them? Verily, in it is Mercy and a Reminder to those who believe.

Sura al-ʿAnkabūt 29:52

قُلْ كَفَىٰ بِٱللَّـهِ بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكُمْ شَهِيدًا يَعْلَمُ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱلْبَٰطِلِ وَكَفَرُوا۟ بِٱللَّـهِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ

qul kafā billāhi baynī wa-baynakum shahīdan yaʿlamu mā fī l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍi wa-lladhīna āmanū bil-bāṭili wa-kafarū billāhi ulāʾika humu l-khāsirūna

Say: "Enough is Allah for a witness between me and you: He knows what is in the heavens and on earth. And it is those who believe in vanities and reject Allah, that will perish (in the end).

Sura al-Aḥzāb 33:3

وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّـهِ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّـهِ وَكِيلًا

wa-tawakkal ʿalā allāhi wa-kafā billāhi wakīlan

And put thy trust in Allah, and enough is Allah as a disposer of affairs.

Sura al-Aḥzāb 33:25

وَرَدَّ ٱللَّـهُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِغَيْظِهِمْ لَمْ يَنَالُوا۟ خَيْرًا وَكَفَى ٱللَّـهُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ٱلْقِتَالَ وَكَانَ ٱللَّـهُ قَوِيًّا عَزِيزًا

wa-radda allāhu lladhīna kafarū bighayẓihim lam yanālū khayran wa-kafa allāhu l-muʾminīna l-qitāla wa-kāna allāhu qawiyyan ʿazīzan

And Allah turned back the Unbelievers for (all) their fury: no advantage did they gain; and enough is Allah for the believers in their fight. And Allah is full of Strength, able to enforce His Will.

Sura al-Aḥzāb 33:39

ٱلَّذِينَ يُبَلِّغُونَ رِسَٰلَٰتِ ٱللَّـهِ وَيَخْشَوْنَهُۥ وَلَا يَخْشَوْنَ أَحَدًا إِلَّا ٱللَّـهَ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّـهِ حَسِيبًا

lladhīna yuballighūna risālāti allāhi wa-yakhshawnahu wa-lā yakhshawna aḥadan illā allāha wa-kafā billāhi ḥasīban

(It is the practice of those) who preach the Messages of Allah, and fear Him, and fear none but Allah. And enough is Allah to call (men) to account.

Sura al-Aḥzāb 33:48

وَلَا تُطِعِ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ وَٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ وَدَعْ أَذَىٰهُمْ وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّـهِ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّـهِ وَكِيلًا

wa-lā tuṭiʿi l-kāfirīna wa-l-munāfiqīna wa-daʿ adhahum wa-tawakkal ʿalā allāhi wa-kafā billāhi wakīlan

And obey not (the behests) of the Unbelievers and the Hypocrites, and heed not their annoyances, but put thy Trust in Allah. For enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.

Sura Fuṣṣilat 41:53

سَنُرِيهِمْ ءَايَٰتِنَا فِى ٱلْأَفَاقِ وَفِىٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ حَتَّىٰ يَتَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُ ٱلْحَقُّ أَوَلَمْ يَكْفِ بِرَبِّكَ أَنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ شَهِيدٌ

sa-nurīhim āyātinā fī l-afāqi wa-fī anfusihim ḥattā yatabayyana lahum annahu l-ḥaqqu a-wa-lam yakfi bi-rabbika annahu ʿalā kulli shayʾin shahīdun

Soon will We show them our Signs in the (furthest) regions (of the earth), and in their own souls, until it becomes manifest to them that this is the Truth. Is it not enough that thy Lord doth witness all things?

Sura al-Aḥqāf 46:8

أَمْ يَقُولُونَ ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ قُلْ إِنِ ٱفْتَرَيْتُهُۥ فَلَا تَمْلِكُونَ لِى مِنَ ٱللَّـهِ شَيْـًٔا هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا تُفِيضُونَ فِيهِ كَفَىٰ بِهِۦ شَهِيدًۢا بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكُمْ وَهُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

am yaqūlūna iftarāhu qul ini iftaraytuhu fa-lā tamlikūna lī mina allāhi shayʾan huwa aʿlamu bi-mā tufīḍūna fīhi kafā bihi shahīdan baynī wa-baynakum wa-huwa l-ghafūru l-raḥīmu

Or do they say, "He has forged it"? Say: "Had I forged it, then can ye obtain no single (blessing) for me from Allah. He knows best of that whereof ye talk (so glibly)! Enough is He for a witness between me and you! And he is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

Sura al-Fatḥ 48:28

هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُۥ بِٱلْهُدَىٰ وَدِينِ ٱلْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُۥ عَلَى ٱلدِّينِ كُلِّهِۦ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّـهِ شَهِيدًا

huwa alladhī arsala rasūlahu bil-hudā wa-dīni l-ḥaqqi li-yuẓhirahu ʿalā l-dīni kullihi wa-kafā billāhi shahīdan

It is He Who has sent His Messenger with Guidance and the Religion of Truth, to proclaim it over all religion: and enough is Allah for a Witness.
