Ye People of the Book! Why do ye clothe Truth with falsehood, and conceal the Truth, while ye have knowledge?

If We had made it an angel, We should have sent him as a man, and We should certainly have caused them confusion in a matter which they have already covered with confusion.
(6:65)

قُلْ  هُوَ  ٱلْقَادِرُ  عَلَىٰٓ  أَن  يَبْعَثَ  عَلَيْكُمْ  عَذَابًا  مِّن  فَوْقِكُمْ  أَوْ  مِن  تَحْتِ  أَرْجُلِكُمْ  أَوْ  يَلْبِسَكُمْ  شِيَعًا  وَيُذِيقَ  بَعْضَكُم  بَأْسَ  بَعْضٍ  ٱنظُرْ  كَيْفَ  نُصَرِّفُ  ٱلْأَيَٰتِ  لَعَلَّهُمْ  يَفْقَهُونَ qul huwa l‑qādiru ʿala an yabʿatha ʿalaykum ʿadhāban min fawqikum aw min taḥti arjulikum aw yalbisakum shiyaʿan wa‑yudhīqa baʿḍakum baʾsa baʿḍin inẓur kayfa nuṣarrifu l‑ayāti la‑ʿallahum yafqahūna
Say: "He hath power to send calamities on you, from above and below, or to cover you with confusion in party strife, giving you a taste of mutual vengeance - each from the other." See how We explain the signs by various (symbols); that they may understand.
(6:82)

وَكَذَٰلِكَ  زَيَّنَ  لِكَثِيرٍ  مِّنَ  ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ  قَتْلَ  أَوْلَٰدِهِمْ  شُرَكَآؤُهُمْ  لِيُرْدُوهُمْ  وَلِيَلْبِسُوا۟  عَلَيْهِمْ  دِينَهُمْ  وَلَوْ  شَآءَ  ٱللَّـهُ  مَا  فَعَلُوهُ  فَذَرْهُمْ  وَمَا  يَفْتَرُونَ wa‑ka‑dhālika zayyana likathīrin mina l‑mushrikīna qatla awlādihim shurakāʾuhum li‑yurdūhum wa‑li‑yalbisū ʿalayhim dīnahum wa‑law shāʾa allāhu faʿalūhu fa‑dharhum wa‑mā yaftarūna
Even so, in the eyes of most of the pagans, their "partners" made alluring the slaughter of their children, in order to lead them to their own destruction, and cause confusion in their religion. If Allah had willed, they would not have done so: But leave alone them and their inventions.

Nor are the two bodies of flowing water alike,- the one palatable, sweet, and pleasant to drink, and the other, salt and bitter.
