Sura al-Shūrā 42:18

يَسْتَعْجِلُ بِهَا ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهَا وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مُشْفِقُونَ مِنْهَا وَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهَا ٱلْحَقُّ أَلَآ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُمَارُونَ فِى ٱلسَّاعَةِ لَفِى ضَلَٰلٍۭ بَعِيدٍ

yastaʿjilu bihā lladhīna lā yuʾminūna bihā wa-lladhīna āmanū mushfiqūna minhā wa-yaʿlamūna annahā l-ḥaqqu āla inna lladhīna yumārūna fī l-sāʿati la-fī ḍalālin baʿīdin

Only those wish to hasten it who believe not in it: those who believe hold it in awe, and know that it is the Truth. Behold, verily those that dispute concerning the Hour are far astray.

Sura al-Najm 53:12

أَفَتُمَٰرُونَهُۥ عَلَىٰ مَا يَرَىٰ

a-fa-tumārūnahu ʿalā mā yarā

Will ye then dispute with him concerning what he saw?

Sura al-Najm 53:55

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكَ تَتَمَارَىٰ

fa-bi-ayyi ālāʾi rabbika tatamārā

Then which of the gifts of thy Lord, (O man,) wilt thou dispute about?

Sura al-Qamar 54:36

وَلَقَدْ أَنذَرَهُم بَطْشَتَنَا فَتَمَارَوْا۟ بِٱلنُّذُرِ

wa-la-qad andharahum baṭshatanā fa-tamāraw bil-nudhuri

And (Lut) did warn them of Our Punishment, but they disputed about the Warning.
