Sura al-Anfāl 8:32

وَإِذْ قَالُوا۟ ٱللَّهُمَّ إِن كَانَ هَٰذَا هُوَ ٱلْحَقَّ مِنْ عِندِكَ فَأَمْطِرْ عَلَيْنَا حِجَارَةً مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَوِ ٱئْتِنَا بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ

wa-idh qālū l-lahumma in kāna hādhā huwa l-ḥaqqa min ʿindika faamṭir ʿalaynā ḥijāratan mina l-samāʾi awi iʾtinā bi-ʿadhābin alīmin

Remember how they said: "O Allah if this is indeed the Truth from Thee, rain down on us a shower of stones form the sky, or send us a grievous penalty."

Sura al-Furqān 25:40

وَلَقَدْ أَتَوْا۟ عَلَى ٱلْقَرْيَةِ ٱلَّتِىٓ أُمْطِرَتْ مَطَرَ ٱلسَّوْءِ أَفَلَمْ يَكُونُوا۟ يَرَوْنَهَا بَلْ كَانُوا۟ لَا يَرْجُونَ نُشُورًا

wa-la-qad ātaw ʿalā l-qaryati allatī umṭirat maṭara l-sawʾi a-fa-lam yakūnū yarawnahā bal kānū lā yarjūna nushūran

And the (Unbelievers) must indeed have passed by the town on which was rained a shower of evil: did they not then see it (with their own eyes)? But they fear not the Resurrection.
