Sura al-Baqara 2:31

وَعَلَّمَ ءَادَمَ ٱلْأَسْمَآءَ كُلَّهَا ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ فَقَالَ أَنۢبِـُٔونِى بِأَسْمَآءِ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

waʿallama ādama l-asmāʾa kullahā thumma ʿaraḍahum ʿalā l-malāʾikati fa-qāla anbiʾūnī bi-asmāʾi hāʾulāʾi in kuntum ṣādiqīna

And He taught Adam the names of all things; then He placed them before the angels, and said: "Tell me the names of these if ye are right."

Sura al-Baqara 2:33

قَالَ يَٰٓـَٔادَمُ أَنۢبِئْهُم بِأَسْمَآئِهِمْ فَلَمَّآ أَنۢبَأَهُم بِأَسْمَآئِهِمْ قَالَ أَلَمْ أَقُل لَّكُمْ إِنِّىٓ أَعْلَمُ غَيْبَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَأَعْلَمُ مَا تُبْدُونَ وَمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْتُمُونَ

qalā yā-ʾādamu anbihum bi-asmāʾihim fa-lammā anbāʾahum bi-asmāʾihim qalā a-lam aqul la-kum innī aʿlamu ghayba l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍi wa-iʿlamū mā tubdūna wa-mā kuntum taktumūna

He said: "O Adam! Tell them their names." When he had told them, Allah said: "Did I not tell you that I know the secrets of heaven and earth, and I know what ye reveal and what ye conceal?"

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:15

قُلْ أَؤُنَبِّئُكُم بِخَيْرٍ مِّن ذَٰلِكُمْ لِلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوْا۟ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّٰتٌ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا وَأَزْوَٰجٌ مُّطَهَّرَةٌ وَرِضْوَٰنٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّـهِ وَٱللَّـهُ بَصِيرٌۢ بِٱلْعِبَادِ

qul aunabbiukum bi-khayrin min dhālikum li-lladhīna ittaqaw ʿinda rabbihim jannātun tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru khālidīna fīhā wa-azwājun muṭahharatun wa-riḍwānun mina allāhi wallāhu baṣīrun bil-ʿibādi

Say: Shall I give you glad tidings of things Far better than those? For the righteous are Gardens in nearness to their Lord, with rivers flowing beneath; therein is their eternal home; with companions pure (and holy); and the good pleasure of Allah. For in Allah's sight are (all) His servants,-

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:49

وَرَسُولًا إِلَىٰ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ أَنِّى قَدْ جِئْتُكُم بِـَٔايَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ أَنِّىٓ أَخْلُقُ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلطِّينِ كَهَيْـَٔةِ ٱلطَّيْرِ فَأَنفُخُ فِيهِ فَيَكُونُ طَيْرًۢا بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّـهِ وَأُبْرِئُ ٱلْأَكْمَهَ وَٱلْأَبْرَصَ وَأُحْىِ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّـهِ وَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا تَأْكُلُونَ وَمَا تَدَّخِرُونَ فِى بُيُوتِكُمْ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَةً لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

wa-rasūlan ilā banī isrāʾīla annī qad jiʾtukum bi-āyatin min rabbikum annī akhluqu la-kum mina l-ṭīni kahayati l-ṭayri fa-anfukhu fīhi fa-yakūnu ṭayran bi-idhni allāhi wa-ubriʾu l-akmaha wa-l-abraṣa wa-uḥi l-mawtā bi-idhni allāhi wa-unabbiʾukum bi-mā taʾkulūna wa-mā taddakhirūna fī buyūtikum inna fī dhālika la-āyatan la-kum in kuntum muʾminīna

"And (appoint him) a messenger to the Children of Israel, (with this message): "'I have come to you, with a Sign from your Lord, in that I make for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allah's leave: And I heal those born blind, and the lepers, and I quicken the dead, by Allah's leave; and I declare to you what ye eat, and what ye store in your houses. Surely therein is a Sign for you if ye did believe;

Sura al-Māʾidah 5:14

وَمِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا نَصَٰرَىٰٓ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَٰقَهُمْ فَنَسُوا۟ حَظًّا مِّمَّا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بِهِۦ فَأَغْرَيْنَا بَيْنَهُمُ ٱلْعَدَاوَةَ وَٱلْبَغْضَآءَ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ وَسَوْفَ يُنَبِّئُهُمُ ٱللَّـهُ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَصْنَعُونَ

wa-mina lladhīna qālū innā naṣāra akhadhnā mīthāqahum fa-nasū ḥaẓẓan mimmā dhukkirū bihi fa-aghraynā baynahumu l-ʿadāwata wa-l-baghḍāʾa ilā yawmi l-qiyāmati wa-sawfa yunabbiʾuhumu allāhu bi-mā kānū yaṣnaʿūna

From those, too, who call themselves Christians, We did take a covenant, but they forgot a good part of the message that was sent them: so we estranged them, with enmity and hatred between the one and the other, to the day of judgment. And soon will Allah show them what it is they have done.

Sura al-Māʾidah 5:48

وَأَنزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ بِٱلْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَمُهَيْمِنًا عَلَيْهِ فَٱحْكُم بَيْنَهُم بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّـهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَآءَهُمْ عَمَّا جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلْحَقِّ لِكُلٍّ جَعَلْنَا مِنكُمْ شِرْعَةً وَمِنْهَاجًا وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّـهُ لَجَعَلَكُمْ أُمَّةً وَٰحِدَةً وَلَٰكِن لِّيَبْلُوَكُمْ فِى مَآ ءَاتَىٰكُمْ فَٱسْتَبِقُوا۟ ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ إِلَى ٱللَّـهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعًا فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ

wa-anzalnā ilayka l-kitāba bil-ḥaqqi muṣaddiqan li-mā bayna yadayhi mina l-kitābi wa-muhayminan ʿalayhi fa-aḥkum baynahum bimā anzala allāhu wa-lā tattabiʿ ahwāʾahum ʿammā jāʾaka mina l-ḥaqqi li-kullin jaʿalnā minkum shirʿatan wa-minhājan wa-law shāʾa allāhu lajaʿalakum ummatan wāḥidatan wa-lākin li-yabluwakum fī mā ātakum fa-istabiqū l-khayrāti ilā allāhi marjiʿukum jamīʿan fa-yunabbiʾukum bi-mā kuntum fīhi takhtalifūna

To thee We sent the Scripture in truth, confirming the scripture that came before it, and guarding it in safety: so judge between them by what Allah hath revealed, and follow not their vain desires, diverging from the Truth that hath come to thee. To each among you have we prescribed a law and an open way. If Allah had so willed, He would have made you a single people, but (His plan is) to test you in what He hath given you: so strive as in a race in all virtues. The goal of you all is to Allah; it is He that will show you the truth of the matters in which ye dispute;

Sura al-Māʾidah 5:60

قُلْ هَلْ أُنَبِّئُكُم بِشَرٍّ مِّن ذَٰلِكَ مَثُوبَةً عِندَ ٱللَّـهِ مَن لَّعَنَهُ ٱللَّـهُ وَغَضِبَ عَلَيْهِ وَجَعَلَ مِنْهُمُ ٱلْقِرَدَةَ وَٱلْخَنَازِيرَ وَعَبَدَ ٱلطَّٰغُوتَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ شَرٌّ مَّكَانًا وَأَضَلُّ عَن سَوَآءِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ

qul hal unabbiʾukum bisharrin min dhālika mathūbatan ʿinda allāhi man llaʿanahu allāhu wa-ghaḍiba ʿalayhi wa-jaʿala minhumu l-qiradata wa-l-khanāzīra wa-ʿabada l-ṭāghūta ulāʾika sharrun makānan wa-aḍallu ʿan sawāʾi l-sabīli

Say: "Shall I point out to you something much worse than this, (as judged) by the treatment it received from Allah? those who incurred the curse of Allah and His wrath, those of whom some He transformed into apes and swine, those who worshipped evil;- these are (many times) worse in rank, and far more astray from the even path!"

Sura al-Māʾidah 5:105

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنفُسَكُمْ لَا يَضُرُّكُم مَّن ضَلَّ إِذَا ٱهْتَدَيْتُمْ إِلَى ٱللَّـهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعًا فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

yā-ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū ʿalaykum anfusakum lā yaḍurrukum man ḍalla idhā ihtadaytum ilā allāhi marjiʿukum jamīʿan fa-yunabbiʾukum bi-mā kuntum taʿmalūna

O ye who believe! Guard your own souls: If ye follow (right) guidance, no hurt can come to you from those who stray. the goal of you all is to Allah: it is He that will show you the truth of all that ye do.

Sura al-Anʿām 6:60

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى يَتَوَفَّىٰكُم بِٱلَّيْلِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا جَرَحْتُم بِٱلنَّهَارِ ثُمَّ يَبْعَثُكُمْ فِيهِ لِيُقْضَىٰٓ أَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

wa-huwa alladhī yatawaffakum bil-layli wa-yaʿlamu mā jaraḥtum bil-nahāri thumma yabʿathukum fīhi li-yuqḍā ajalun musamman thumma ilayhi marjiʿukum thumma yunabbiʾukum bi-mā kuntum taʿmalūna

It is He who doth take your souls by night, and hath knowledge of all that ye have done by day: by day doth He raise you up again; that a term appointed be fulfilled; In the end unto Him will be your return; then will He show you the truth of all that ye did.

Sura al-Anʿām 6:108

وَلَا تَسُبُّوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّـهِ فَيَسُبُّوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ عَدْوًۢا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ كَذَٰلِكَ زَيَّنَّا لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ عَمَلَهُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِم مَّرْجِعُهُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

wa-lā tasubbū lladhīna yadʿūna min dūni allāhi fa-yasubbū allāha ʿadwan bi-ghayri ʿilmin ka-dhālika zayyannā li-kulli ummatin ʿamalahum thumma ilā rabbihim marjiʿuhum fa-yunabbiʾuhum bi-mā kānū yaʿmalūna

Revile not ye those whom they call upon besides Allah, lest they out of spite revile Allah in their ignorance. Thus have We made alluring to each people its own doings. In the end will they return to their Lord, and We shall then tell them the truth of all that they did.

Sura al-Anʿām 6:143

ثَمَٰنِيَةَ أَزْوَٰجٍ مِّنَ ٱلضَّأْنِ ٱثْنَيْنِ وَمِنَ ٱلْمَعْزِ ٱثْنَيْنِ قُلْ ءَآلذَّكَرَيْنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ ٱلْأُنثَيَيْنِ أَمَّا ٱشْتَمَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ أَرْحَامُ ٱلْأُنثَيَيْنِ نَبِّـُٔونِى بِعِلْمٍ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

thamāniyata azwājin mina l-ḍani ithnayni wa-mina l-maʿzi ithnayni qul ā-l-dhakarayni ḥarrama ami l-unthayayni a-mā ishtamalat ʿalayhi arḥāmu l-unthayayni nabbiʾunī bi-ʿilmin in kuntum ṣādiqīna

(Take) eight (head of cattle) in (four) pairs: of sheep a pair, and of goats a pair; say, hath He forbidden the two males, or the two females, or (the young) which the wombs of the two females enclose? Tell me with knowledge if ye are truthful:

Sura al-Anʿām 6:159

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَرَّقُوا۟ دِينَهُمْ وَكَانُوا۟ شِيَعًا لَّسْتَ مِنْهُمْ فِى شَىْءٍ إِنَّمَآ أَمْرُهُمْ إِلَى ٱللَّـهِ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْعَلُونَ

inna lladhīna farraqū dīnahum wa-kānū shiyaʿan llasta minhum fī shayʾin innamā amruhum ilā allāhi thumma yunabbiʾuhum bi-mā kānū yafʿalūna

As for those who divide their religion and break up into sects, thou hast no part in them in the least: their affair is with Allah: He will in the end tell them the truth of all that they did.

Sura al-Anʿām 6:164

قُلْ أَغَيْرَ ٱللَّـهِ أَبْغِى رَبًّا وَهُوَ رَبُّ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَلَا تَكْسِبُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ إِلَّا عَلَيْهَا وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَىٰ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُم مَّرْجِعُكُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ

qul aghayra allāhi abghī rabban wa-huwa rabbu kulli shayʾin wa-lā taksibu kullu nafsin illā ʿalayhā wa-lā taziru wāziratun wizra ukhrā thumma ilā rabbikum marjiʿukum fa-yunabbiʾukum bi-mā kuntum fīhi takhtalifūna

Say: "Shall I seek for (my) Cherisher other than Allah, when He is the Cherisher of all things (that exist)? Every soul draws the meed of its acts on none but itself: no bearer of burdens can bear of burdens can bear the burden of another. Your goal in the end is towards Allah: He will tell you the truth of the things wherein ye disputed."

Sura al-Tawbah 9:64

يَحْذَرُ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَ أَن تُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُورَةٌ تُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا فِى قُلُوبِهِمْ قُلِ ٱسْتَهْزِءُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ مُخْرِجٌ مَّا تَحْذَرُونَ

yaḥdharu l-munāfiqūna an tunazzala ʿalayhim sūratun tunabbiuhum bi-mā fī qulūbihim quli istahziʾū inna allāha mukhrijun mā taḥdharūna

The Hypocrites are afraid lest a Sura should be sent down about them, showing them what is (really passing) in their hearts. Say: "Mock ye! But verily Allah will bring to light all that ye fear (should be revealed).

Sura al-Tawbah 9:94

يَعْتَذِرُونَ إِلَيْكُمْ إِذَا رَجَعْتُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ قُل لَّا تَعْتَذِرُوا۟ لَن نُّؤْمِنَ لَكُمْ قَدْ نَبَّأَنَا ٱللَّـهُ مِنْ أَخْبَارِكُمْ وَسَيَرَى ٱللَّـهُ عَمَلَكُمْ وَرَسُولُهُۥ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَٰلِمِ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

yaʿtadhirūna ilaykum idhā rajaʿtum ilayhim qul lā taʿtadhirū lan nuʾmina la-kum qad nabbaʾanā allāhu min akhbārikum wa-sayara allāhu ʿamalakum wa-rasūluhu thumma turaddūna ilā ʿālimi l-ghaybi wa-l-shahādati fa-yunabbiʾukum bi-mā kuntum taʿmalūna

They will present their excuses to you when ye return to them. Say thou: "Present no excuses: we shall not believe you: Allah hath already informed us of the true state of matters concerning you: It is your actions that Allah and His Messenger will observe: in the end will ye be brought back to Him Who knoweth what is hidden and what is open: then will He show you the truth of all that ye did."

Sura al-Tawbah 9:105

وَقُلِ ٱعْمَلُوا۟ فَسَيَرَى ٱللَّـهُ عَمَلَكُمْ وَرَسُولُهُۥ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَسَتُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَٰلِمِ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

wa-quli iʿmalū fasayara allāhu ʿamalakum wa-rasūluhu wa-l-muʾminūna wa-saturaddūna ilā ʿālimi l-ghaybi wa-l-shahādati fa-yunabbiʾukum bi-mā kuntum taʿmalūna

And say: "Work (righteousness): Soon will Allah observe your work, and His Messenger, and the Believers: Soon will ye be brought back to the knower of what is hidden and what is open: then will He show you the truth of all that ye did."

Sura Yūnus 10:18

وَيَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّـهِ مَا لَا يَضُرُّهُمْ وَلَا يَنفَعُهُمْ وَيَقُولُونَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ شُفَعَٰٓؤُنَا عِندَ ٱللَّـهِ قُلْ أَتُنَبِّـُٔونَ ٱللَّـهَ بِمَا لَا يَعْلَمُ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَلَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ

wa-yaʿbudūna min dūni allāhi mā lā yaḍurruhum wa-lā yanfaʿuhum wa-yaqūlūna hāʾulāʾi shufaʿāʾunā ʿinda allāhi qul a-tunabbiʾūna allāha bi-mā lā yaʿlamu fī l-samāwāti wa-lā fī l-arḍi subḥānahu wa-taʿāla ʿammā yushrikūna

They serve, besides Allah, things that hurt them not nor profit them, and they say: "These are our intercessors with Allah." Say: "Do ye indeed inform Allah of something He knows not, in the heavens or on earth?- Glory to Him! and far is He above the partners they ascribe (to Him)!"

Sura Yūnus 10:23

فَلَمَّآ أَنجَىٰهُمْ إِذَا هُمْ يَبْغُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ ٱلْحَقِّ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّمَا بَغْيُكُمْ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِكُم مَّتَٰعَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَنُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

fa-lammā anjahum idhā hum yabghūna fī l-arḍi bi-ghayri l-ḥaqqi yā-ayyuhā l-nāsu innamā baghyukum ʿala anfusikum matāʿa l-ḥayāti l-dunyā thumma ilaynā marjiʿukum fa-nunabbiʾukum bi-mā kuntum taʿmalūna

But when he delivereth them, behold! they transgress insolently through the earth in defiance of right! O mankind! your insolence is against your own souls,- an enjoyment of the life of the present: in the end, to Us is your return, and We shall show you the truth of all that ye did.

Sura Yūnus 10:53

وَيَسْتَنۢبِـُٔونَكَ أَحَقٌّ هُوَ قُلْ إِى وَرَبِّىٓ إِنَّهُۥ لَحَقٌّ وَمَآ أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ

wa-yastanbiūnaka aḥaqqun huwa qul ī wa-rabbī innahu la-ḥaqqun wa-mā antum bi-muʿjizīna

They seek to be informed by thee: "Is that true?" Say: "Aye! by my Lord! it is the very truth! and ye cannot frustrate it!"

Sura Yūsuf 12:15

فَلَمَّا ذَهَبُوا۟ بِهِۦ وَأَجْمَعُوٓا۟ أَن يَجْعَلُوهُ فِى غَيَٰبَتِ ٱلْجُبِّ وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْهِ لَتُنَبِّئَنَّهُم بِأَمْرِهِمْ هَٰذَا وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ

fa-lammā dhahabū bihi wa-ajmaʿū an yajʿalūhu fī ghayābati l-jubbi wa-awḥaynā ilayhi la-tunabbiʾannahum bi-amrihim hādhā wa-hum lā yashʿurūna

So they did take him away, and they all agreed to throw him down to the bottom of the well: and We put into his heart (this Message): 'Of a surety thou shalt (one day) tell them the truth of this their affair while they know (thee) not'

Sura Yūsuf 12:36

وَدَخَلَ مَعَهُ ٱلسِّجْنَ فَتَيَانِ قَالَ أَحَدُهُمَآ إِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰنِىٓ أَعْصِرُ خَمْرًا وَقَالَ ٱلْأَخَرُ إِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰنِىٓ أَحْمِلُ فَوْقَ رَأْسِى خُبْزًا تَأْكُلُ ٱلطَّيْرُ مِنْهُ نَبِّئْنَا بِتَأْوِيلِهِۦٓ إِنَّا نَرَىٰكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

wa-dakhala maʿahu l-sijna fatayāni qalā aḥaduhumā innī aranī aʿṣiru khamran wa-qāla l-akharu innī aranī aḥmilu fawqa rasī khubzan taʾkulu l-ṭayru minhu nabbinā bi-taʾwīlihi innā naraka mina l-muḥsinīna

Now with him there came into the prison two young men. Said one of them: "I see myself (in a dream) pressing wine." said the other: "I see myself (in a dream) carrying bread on my head, and birds are eating, thereof." "Tell us" (they said) "The truth and meaning thereof: for we see thou art one that doth good (to all)."

Sura Yūsuf 12:37

قَالَ لَا يَأْتِيكُمَا طَعَامٌ تُرْزَقَانِهِۦٓ إِلَّا نَبَّأْتُكُمَا بِتَأْوِيلِهِۦ قَبْلَ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمَا ذَٰلِكُمَا مِمَّا عَلَّمَنِى رَبِّىٓ إِنِّى تَرَكْتُ مِلَّةَ قَوْمٍ لَّا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّـهِ وَهُم بِٱلْأَخِرَةِ هُمْ كَٰفِرُونَ

qalā lā yaʾtīkumā ṭaʿāmun turzaqānihi illā nabbatukumā bitawīlihi qabla an yatīakumā dhālikumā mimmā ʿallamanī rabbī innī taraktu millata qawmin lā yuʾminūna billāhi wa-hum bil-akhirati hum kāfirūna

He said: "Before any food comes (in due course) to feed either of you, I will surely reveal to you the truth and meaning of this ere it befall you: that is part of the (duty) which my Lord hath taught me. I have (I assure you) abandoned the ways of a people that believe not in Allah and that (even) deny the Hereafter.

Sura Yūsuf 12:45

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِى نَجَا مِنْهُمَا وَٱدَّكَرَ بَعْدَ أُمَّةٍ أَنَا۠ أُنَبِّئُكُم بِتَأْوِيلِهِۦ فَأَرْسِلُونِ

wa-qāla alladhī najā minhumā wa-addakara baʿda ummatin anā unabbiʾukum bitawīlihi fa-arsilūni

But the man who had been released, one of the two (who had been in prison) and who now bethought him after (so long) a space of time, said: "I will tell you the truth of its interpretation: send ye me (therefore)."

Sura al-Raʿd 13:33

أَفَمَنْ هُوَ قَآئِمٌ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ نَفْسٍۭ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ وَجَعَلُوا۟ لِلَّـهِ شُرَكَآءَ قُلْ سَمُّوهُمْ أَمْ تُنَبِّـُٔونَهُۥ بِمَا لَا يَعْلَمُ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أَم بِظَٰهِرٍ مِّنَ ٱلْقَوْلِ بَلْ زُيِّنَ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مَكْرُهُمْ وَصُدُّوا۟ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّـهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِنْ هَادٍ

afaman huwa qāʾimun ʿalā kulli nafsin bi-mā kasabat wa-jaʿalū lillāhi shurakāʾa qul sammūhum am tunabbiʾūnahu bi-mā lā yaʿlamu fī l-arḍi am biẓāhirin mina l-qawli bal zuyyina li-lladhīna kafarū makruhum wa-ṣuddū ʿani l-sabīli wa-man yuḍlili allāhu fa-mā lahu min hādin

Is then He who standeth over every soul (and knoweth) all that it doth, (like any others)? And yet they ascribe partners to Allah. Say: "But name them! is it that ye will inform Him of something he knoweth not on earth, or is it (just) a show of words?" Nay! to those who believe not, their pretence seems pleasing, but they are kept back (thereby) from the path. And those whom Allah leaves to stray, no one can guide.

Sura al-Ḥijr 15:49

نَبِّئْ عِبَادِىٓ أَنِّىٓ أَنَا ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

nabbi ʿibādī annī anā l-ghafūru l-raḥīmu

Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful;

Sura al-Ḥijr 15:51

وَنَبِّئْهُمْ عَن ضَيْفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ

wa-nabbiʾhum ʿan ḍayfi ibrāhīma

Tell them about the guests of Abraham.

Sura al-Kahf 18:78

قَالَ هَٰذَا فِرَاقُ بَيْنِى وَبَيْنِكَ سَأُنَبِّئُكَ بِتَأْوِيلِ مَا لَمْ تَسْتَطِع عَّلَيْهِ صَبْرًا

qalā hādhā firāqu baynī wa-baynika sa-unabbiʾuka bi-taʾwīli mā lam tastaṭiʿ ʿalayhi ṣabran

He answered: "This is the parting between me and thee: now will I tell thee the interpretation of (those things) over which thou wast unable to hold patience.

Sura al-Kahf 18:103

قُلْ هَلْ نُنَبِّئُكُم بِٱلْأَخْسَرِينَ أَعْمَٰلًا

qul hal nunabbiʾukum bil-akhsarīna aʿmālan

Say: "Shall we tell you of those who lose most in respect of their deeds?-

Sura al-Ḥajj 22:72

وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتُنَا بَيِّنَٰتٍ تَعْرِفُ فِى وُجُوهِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ٱلْمُنكَرَ يَكَادُونَ يَسْطُونَ بِٱلَّذِينَ يَتْلُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتِنَا قُلْ أَفَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِشَرٍّ مِّن ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱلنَّارُ وَعَدَهَا ٱللَّـهُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ

wa-idhā tutlā ʿalayhim āyātunā bayyinātin taʿrifu fī wujūhi lladhīna kafarū l-munkara yakādūna yasṭūna bi-lladhīna yatlūna ʿalayhim āyātinā qul a-fa-unabbiʾukum bisharrin min dhālikumu l-nāru waʿadahā allāhu lladhīna kafarū wa-bisa l-maṣīru

When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, thou wilt notice a denial on the faces of the Unbelievers! they nearly attack with violence those who rehearse Our Signs to them. Say, "Shall I tell you of something (far) worse than these Signs? It is the Fire (of Hell)! Allah has promised it to the Unbelievers! and evil is that destination!"

Sura al-Nūr 24:64

أَلَآ إِنَّ لِلَّـهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ قَدْ يَعْلَمُ مَآ أَنتُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَيَوْمَ يُرْجَعُونَ إِلَيْهِ فَيُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَٱللَّـهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌۢ

āla inna lillāhi mā fī l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍi qad yaʿlamu mā antum ʿalayhi wa-yawma yurjaʿūna ilayhi fa-yunabbiʾuhum bi-mā ʿamilū wallāhu bi-kulli shayʾin ʿalīmun

Be quite sure that to Allah doth belong whatever is in the heavens and on earth. Well doth He know what ye are intent upon: and one day they will be brought back to Him, and He will tell them the truth of what they did: for Allah doth know all things.

Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:221

هَلْ أُنَبِّئُكُمْ عَلَىٰ مَن تَنَزَّلُ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينُ

hal unabbiʾukum ʿalā man tanazzalu l-shayāṭīnu

Shall I inform you, (O people!), on whom it is that the evil ones descend?

Sura al-ʿAnkabūt 29:8

وَوَصَّيْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ بِوَٰلِدَيْهِ حُسْنًا وَإِن جَٰهَدَاكَ لِتُشْرِكَ بِى مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلْمٌ فَلَا تُطِعْهُمَآ إِلَىَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

wa-waṣṣaynā l-insāna bi-wālidayhi ḥusnan wa-in jāhadāka li-tushrika bī mā laysa la-ka bihi ʿilmun fa-lā tuṭiʿhumā ilayya marjiʿukum fa-unabbiʾukum bi-mā kuntum taʿmalūna

We have enjoined on man kindness to parents: but if they (either of them) strive (to force) thee to join with Me (in worship) anything of which thou hast no knowledge, obey them not. Ye have (all) to return to me, and I will tell you (the truth) of all that ye did.

Sura Luqmān 31:15

وَإِن جَٰهَدَاكَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن تُشْرِكَ بِى مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلْمٌ فَلَا تُطِعْهُمَا وَصَاحِبْهُمَا فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا مَعْرُوفًا وَٱتَّبِعْ سَبِيلَ مَنْ أَنَابَ إِلَىَّ ثُمَّ إِلَىَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

wa-in jāhadāka ʿala an tushrika bī mā laysa la-ka bihi ʿilmun fa-lā tuṭiʿhumā wa-ṣāḥibhumā fī l-dunyā maʿrūfan wa-ittabiʿ sabīla man anāba ilayya thumma ilayya marjiʿukum faunabbiukum bi-mā kuntum taʿmalūna

"But if they strive to make thee join in worship with Me things of which thou hast no knowledge, obey them not; yet bear them company in this life with justice (and consideration), and follow the way of those who turn to me (in love): in the end the return of you all is to Me, and I will tell you the truth (and meaning) of all that ye did."

Sura Luqmān 31:23

وَمَن كَفَرَ فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ كُفْرُهُۥٓ إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ فَنُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا عَمِلُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ

wa-man kafara fa-lā yaḥzunka kufruhu ilaynā marjiʿuhum fa-nunabbiʾuhum bi-mā ʿamilū inna allāha ʿalīmun bi-dhāti l-ṣudūri

But if any reject Faith, let not his rejection grieve thee: to Us is their return, and We shall tell them the truth of their deeds: for Allah knows well all that is in (men's) hearts.

Sura Sabaʾ 34:7

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ هَلْ نَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٍ يُنَبِّئُكُمْ إِذَا مُزِّقْتُمْ كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍ إِنَّكُمْ لَفِى خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ

wa-qāla lladhīna kafarū hal nadullukum ʿalā rajulin yunabbiʾukum idhā muzziqtum kulla mumazzaqin innakum la-fī khalqin jadīdin

The Unbelievers say (in ridicule): "Shall we point out to you a man that will tell you, when ye are all scattered to pieces in disintegration, that ye shall (then be raised) in a New Creation?

Sura al-Faṭīr 35:14

إِن تَدْعُوهُمْ لَا يَسْمَعُوا۟ دُعَآءَكُمْ وَلَوْ سَمِعُوا۟ مَا ٱسْتَجَابُوا۟ لَكُمْ وَيَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ يَكْفُرُونَ بِشِرْكِكُمْ وَلَا يُنَبِّئُكَ مِثْلُ خَبِيرٍ

in tadʿūhum lā yasmaʿū duʿāʾakum wa-law samiʿū mā istajābū la-kum wa-yawma l-qiyāmati yakfurūna bi-shirkikum wa-lā yunabbiʾuka mithlu khabīrin

If ye invoke them, they will not listen to your call, and if they were to listen, they cannot answer your (prayer). On the Day of Judgment they will reject your "Partnership". and none, (O man!) can tell thee (the Truth) like the One Who is acquainted with all things.

Sura al-Zumar 39:7

إِن تَكْفُرُوا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ غَنِىٌّ عَنكُمْ وَلَا يَرْضَىٰ لِعِبَادِهِ ٱلْكُفْرَ وَإِن تَشْكُرُوا۟ يَرْضَهُ لَكُمْ وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَىٰ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُم مَّرْجِعُكُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ

in takfurū fa-inna allāha ghaniyyun ʿankum wa-lā yarḍā li-ʿibādihi l-kufra wa-in tashkurū yarḍahu la-kum wa-lā taziru wāziratun wizra ukhrā thumma ilā rabbikum marjiʿukum fa-yunabbiʾukum bi-mā kuntum taʿmalūna innahu ʿalīmun bi-dhāti l-ṣudūri

If ye reject (Allah), Truly Allah hath no need of you; but He liketh not ingratitude from His servants: if ye are grateful, He is pleased with you. No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another. In the end, to your Lord is your Return, when He will tell you the truth of all that ye did (in this life). for He knoweth well all that is in (men's) hearts.

Sura Fuṣṣilat 41:50

وَلَئِنْ أَذَقْنَٰهُ رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ ضَرَّآءَ مَسَّتْهُ لَيَقُولَنَّ هَٰذَا لِى وَمَآ أَظُنُّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ قَآئِمَةً وَلَئِن رُّجِعْتُ إِلَىٰ رَبِّىٓ إِنَّ لِى عِندَهُۥ لَلْحُسْنَىٰ فَلَنُنَبِّئَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِمَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُم مِّنْ عَذَابٍ غَلِيظٍ

wa-lain adhaqnāhu raḥmatan minnā min baʿdi ḍarrāʾa massathu la-yaqūlanna hādhā lī wa-mā aẓunnu l-sāʿata qāʾimatan wa-laʾin rrujiʿtu ilā rabbī inna lī ʿindahu la-l-ḥusnā fa-la-nunabbiʾanna lladhīna kafarū bi-mā ʿamilū wa-la-nudhīqannahum min ʿadhābin ghalīẓin

When we give him a taste of some Mercy from Ourselves, after some adversity has touched him, he is sure to say, "This is due to my (merit): I think not that the Hour (of Judgment) will (ever) be established; but if I am brought back to my Lord, I have (much) good (stored) in His sight!" But We will show the Unbelievers the truth of all that they did, and We shall give them the taste of a severe Penalty.

Sura al-Najm 53:36

أَمْ لَمْ يُنَبَّأْ بِمَا فِى صُحُفِ مُوسَىٰ

am lam yunabba bi-mā fī ṣuḥufi mūsā

Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses-

Sura al-Qamar 54:28

وَنَبِّئْهُمْ أَنَّ ٱلْمَآءَ قِسْمَةٌۢ بَيْنَهُمْ كُلُّ شِرْبٍ مُّحْتَضَرٌ

wa-nabbiʾhum annā l-māa qismatun baynahum kullu shirbin muḥtaḍarun

And tell them that the water is to be divided between them: Each one's right to drink being brought forward (by suitable turns).

Sura al-Mujādilah 58:6

يَوْمَ يَبْعَثُهُمُ ٱللَّـهُ جَمِيعًا فَيُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا عَمِلُوٓا۟ أَحْصَىٰهُ ٱللَّـهُ وَنَسُوهُ وَٱللَّـهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ شَهِيدٌ

yawma yabʿathuhumu allāhu jamīʿan fa-yunabbiuhum bi-mā ʿamilū aḥṣahu allāhu wanasūhu wallāhu ʿalā kulli shayʾin shahīdun

On the Day that Allah will raise them all up (again) and show them the Truth (and meaning) of their conduct. Allah has reckoned its (value), though they may have forgotten it, for Allah is Witness to all things.

Sura al-Mujādilah 58:7

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّـهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مَا يَكُونُ مِن نَّجْوَىٰ ثَلَٰثَةٍ إِلَّا هُوَ رَابِعُهُمْ وَلَا خَمْسَةٍ إِلَّا هُوَ سَادِسُهُمْ وَلَآ أَدْنَىٰ مِن ذَٰلِكَ وَلَآ أَكْثَرَ إِلَّا هُوَ مَعَهُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كَانُوا۟ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا عَمِلُوا۟ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

a-lam tara annā allāha yaʿlamu mā fī l-samāwāti wa-mā fī l-arḍi mā yakūnu min nnajwa thalāthatin illā huwa rābiʿuhum wa-lā khamsatin illā huwa sādisuhum wa-lā adnā min dhālika wa-lā akthara illā huwa maʿahum ayna mā kānū thumma yunabbiʾuhum bi-mā ʿamilū yawma l-qiyāmati inna allāha bi-kulli shayʾin ʿalīmun

Seest thou not that Allah doth know (all) that is in the heavens and on earth? There is not a secret consultation between three, but He makes the fourth among them, - Nor between five but He makes the sixth,- nor between fewer nor more, but He is in their midst, wheresoever they be: In the end will He tell them the truth of their conduct, on the Day of Judgment. For Allah has full knowledge of all things.

Sura al-Jumuʿah 62:8

قُلْ إِنَّ ٱلْمَوْتَ ٱلَّذِى تَفِرُّونَ مِنْهُ فَإِنَّهُۥ مُلَٰقِيكُمْ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَٰلِمِ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

qul inna l-mawtā alladhī tafirrūna minhu fa-innahu mulāqīkum thumma turaddūna ilā ʿālimi l-ghaybi wa-l-shahādati fa-yunabbiukum bi-mā kuntum taʿmalūna

Say: "The Death from which ye flee will truly overtake you: then will ye be sent back to the Knower of things secret and open: and He will tell you (the truth of) the things that ye did!"

Sura al-Taghābun 64:7

زَعَمَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَن لَّن يُبْعَثُوا۟ قُلْ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّى لَتُبْعَثُنَّ ثُمَّ لَتُنَبَّؤُنَّ بِمَا عَمِلْتُمْ وَذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّـهِ يَسِيرٌ

zaʿama lladhīna kafarū an lan yubʿathū qul balā warabbī la-tubʿathunna thumma latunabbaunna bi-mā ʿamiltum wa-dhālika ʿalā allāhi yasīrun

The Unbelievers think that they will not be raised up (for Judgment). Say: "Yea, By my Lord, Ye shall surely be raised up: then shall ye be told (the truth) of all that ye did. And that is easy for Allah."

Sura al-Taḥrīm 66:3

وَإِذْ أَسَرَّ ٱلنَّبِىُّ إِلَىٰ بَعْضِ أَزْوَٰجِهِۦ حَدِيثًا فَلَمَّا نَبَّأَتْ بِهِۦ وَأَظْهَرَهُ ٱللَّـهُ عَلَيْهِ عَرَّفَ بَعْضَهُۥ وَأَعْرَضَ عَنۢ بَعْضٍ فَلَمَّا نَبَّأَهَا بِهِۦ قَالَتْ مَنْ أَنۢبَأَكَ هَٰذَا قَالَ نَبَّأَنِىَ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ

wa-idh asarra l-nabiyyu ilā baʿḍi azwājihi ḥadīthan fa-lammā nabbaʾat bihi wa-aẓharahu allāhu ʿalayhi ʿarrafa baʿḍahu wa-aʿraḍa ʿan baʿḍin fa-lammā nabbaʾahā bihi qālat man anbaʾaka hādhā qalā nabbaʾaniya l-ʿalīmu l-khabīru

When the Prophet disclosed a matter in confidence to one of his consorts, and she then divulged it (to another), and Allah made it known to him, he confirmed part thereof and repudiated a part. Then when he told her thereof, she said, "Who told thee this? "He said, "He told me Who knows and is well-acquainted (with all things)."

Sura al-Qiyāmah 75:13

يُنَبَّؤُا۟ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ

yunabbaʾu l-insānu yawmaʾidhin bi-mā qaddama wa-akhkhara

That Day will Man be told (all) that he put forward, and all that he put back.
