Surah 3 Āl-ʿImrān (The Family of Imran)

(3:39)

فَنَادَتْهُ  ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ  وَهُوَ  قَآئِمٌ  يُصَلِّى  فِى  ٱلْمِحْرَابِ  أَنَّ  ٱللَّـهَ  يُبَشِّرُكَ  بِيَحْيَىٰ  مُصَدِّقًۢا  بِكَلِمَةٍ  مِّنَ  ٱللَّـهِ  وَسَيِّدًا  وَحَصُورًا  وَنَبِيًّا  مِّنَ  ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ fa‑nādathu l‑malāʾikatu wa‑huwa qāʾimun yuṣallī l‑miḥrābi annā allāha yubashshiruka bi‑yaḥyā muṣaddiqan bi‑kalimatin mina allāhi wa‑sayyidan wa‑ḥaṣūran wa‑nabiyyan mina l‑ṣāliḥīna
While he was standing in prayer in the chamber, the angels called unto him: "Allah doth give thee glad tidings of Yahya, witnessing the truth of a Word from Allah, and (be besides) noble, chaste, and a prophet,- of the (goodly) company of the righteous."
(3:193)

رَّبَّنَآ  إِنَّنَا  سَمِعْنَا  مُنَادِيًا  يُنَادِى  لِلْإِيمَٰنِ  أَنْ  ءَامِنُوا۟  بِرَبِّكُمْ  فَـَٔامَنَّا  رَبَّنَا  فَٱغْفِرْ  لَنَا  ذُنُوبَنَا  وَكَفِّرْ  عَنَّا  سَيِّـَٔاتِنَا  وَتَوَفَّنَا  مَعَ  ٱلْأَبْرَارِ rabbanā innanā samiʿnā munādiyan yunādī lil‑īmāni an āminū birabbikum fa‑āmannā rabbanā fa‑ighfir la‑nā dhunūbanā wa‑kaffir ʿannā sayyiātinā wa‑tawaffanā maʿa l‑abrāri
"Our Lord! we have heard the call of one calling (Us) to Faith, 'Believe ye in the Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sins, blot out from us our iniquities, and take to Thyself our souls in the company of the righteous.

Surah 5 al-Māʾidah (The Table Spread)
(5:58)

وَإِذَا  نَادَيْتُمْ  إِلَى  ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ  ٱتَّخَذُوهَا  هُزُوًا  وَلَعِبًا  ذَٰلِكَ  بِأَنَّهُمْ  قَوْمٌ  لَّا  يَعْقِلُونَ wa‑idhā nādaytum ilā l‑ṣalawti ittakhadhūhā huzuwan wa‑laʿiban dhālika bi‑annahum qawmun yaʿqilūna
When ye proclaim your call to prayer they take it (but) as mockery and sport; that is because they are a people without understanding.

Surah 7 al-Aʿrāf (The Heights)
(7:22)

فَدَلَّىٰهُمَا  بِغُرُورٍ  فَلَمَّا  ذَاقَا  ٱلشَّجَرَةَ  بَدَتْ  لَهُمَا  سَوْءَٰتُهُمَا  وَطَفِقَا  يَخْصِفَانِ  عَلَيْهِمَا  مِن  وَرَقِ  ٱلْجَنَّةِ  وَنَادَىٰهُمَا  رَبُّهُمَآ  أَلَمْ  أَنْهَكُمَا  عَن  تِلْكُمَا  ٱلشَّجَرَةِ  وَأَقُل  لَّكُمَآ  إِنَّ  ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَ  لَكُمَا  عَدُوٌّ  مُّبِينٌ fa‑dallahumā bi‑ghurūrin fa‑lammā dhāqā l‑shajarata badat lahumā sawʾātuhumā wa‑ṭafiqā yakhṣifāni ʿalayhimā min waraqi l‑jannati wa‑nādāhumā rabbuhumā a‑lam anhakumā ʿan tilkumā l‑shajarati wa‑aqul lakumā inna l‑shayṭāna lakumā ʿaduwwun mubīnun
So by deceit he brought about their fall: when they tasted of the tree, their shame became manifest to them, and they began to sew together the leaves of the garden over their bodies. And their Lord called unto them: "Did I not forbid you that tree, and tell you that Satan was an avowed enemy unto you?"
(7:43)

وَنَزَعْنَا  مَا  فِى  صُدُورِهِم  مِّنْ  غِلٍّ  تَجْرِى  مِن  تَحْتِهِمُ  ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ  وَقَالُوا۟  ٱلْحَمْدُ  لِلَّـهِ  ٱلَّذِى  هَدَىٰنَا  لِهَٰذَا  وَمَا  كُنَّا  لِنَهْتَدِىَ  لَوْلَآ  أَنْ  هَدَىٰنَا  ٱللَّـهُ  لَقَدْ  جَآءَتْ  رُسُلُ  رَبِّنَا  بِٱلْحَقِّ  وَنُودُوٓا۟  أَن  تِلْكُمُ  ٱلْجَنَّةُ  أُورِثْتُمُوهَا  بِمَا  كُنتُمْ  تَعْمَلُونَ wanazaʿnā ṣudūrihim min ghillin tajrī min taḥtihimu l‑anhāru wa‑qālū l‑ḥamdu lillāhi alladhī hadanā li‑hādhā wa‑mā kunnā li‑nahtadiya lawlā an hadanā allāhu la‑qad jāʾat rusulu rabbinā bil‑ḥaqqi wa‑nūdū an tilkumu l‑jannatu ūrithtumūhā bi‑mā kuntum taʿmalūna
And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury;- beneath them will be rivers flowing;- and they shall say: "Praise be to Allah, who hath guided us to this (felicity): never could we have found guidance, had it not been for the guidance of Allah: indeed it was the truth, that the messengers of our Lord brought unto us." And they shall hear the cry: "Behold! the garden before you! Ye have been made its inheritors, for your deeds (of righteousness)."
(7:44)

وَنَادَىٰٓ  أَصْحَٰبُ  ٱلْجَنَّةِ  أَصْحَٰبَ  ٱلنَّارِ  أَن  قَدْ  وَجَدْنَا  مَا  وَعَدَنَا  رَبُّنَا  حَقًّا  فَهَلْ  وَجَدتُّم  مَّا  وَعَدَ  رَبُّكُمْ  حَقًّا  قَالُوا۟  نَعَمْ  فَأَذَّنَ  مُؤَذِّنٌۢ  بَيْنَهُمْ  أَن  لَّعْنَةُ  ٱللَّـهِ  عَلَى  ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ wa‑nādā aṣḥābu l‑jannati aṣḥāba l‑nāri an qad wajadnā waʿadanā rabbunā ḥaqqan fa‑hal wajadttum waʿada rabbukum ḥaqqan qālū naʿam fa‑adhdhana muadhdhinun baynahum an llaʿnatu allāhi ʿalā l‑ẓālimīna
The Companions of the Garden will call out to the Companions of the Fire: "We have indeed found the promises of our Lord to us true: Have you also found Your Lord's promises true?" They shall say, "Yes"; but a crier shall proclaim between them: "The curse of Allah is on the wrong-doers;-
(7:46)

وَبَيْنَهُمَا  حِجَابٌ  وَعَلَى  ٱلْأَعْرَافِ  رِجَالٌ  يَعْرِفُونَ  كُلًّۢا  بِسِيمَىٰهُمْ  وَنَادَوْا۟  أَصْحَٰبَ  ٱلْجَنَّةِ  أَن  سَلَٰمٌ  عَلَيْكُمْ  لَمْ  يَدْخُلُوهَا  وَهُمْ  يَطْمَعُونَ wa‑baynahumā ḥijābun wa‑ʿala l‑aʿrāfi rijālun yaʿrifūna kullan bi‑sīmāhum wa‑nādaw aṣḥāba l‑jannati an salāmun ʿalaykum lam yadkhulūhā wa‑hum yaṭmaʿūna
Between them shall be a veil, and on the heights will be men who would know every one by his marks: they will call out to the Companions of the Garden, "peace on you": they will not have entered, but they will have an assurance (thereof).
(7:48)

وَنَادَىٰٓ  أَصْحَٰبُ  ٱلْأَعْرَافِ  رِجَالًا  يَعْرِفُونَهُم  بِسِيمَىٰهُمْ  قَالُوا۟  مَآ  أَغْنَىٰ  عَنكُمْ  جَمْعُكُمْ  وَمَا  كُنتُمْ  تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ wa‑nādā aṣḥābu l‑aʿrāfi rijālan yaʿrifūnahum bi‑sīmāhum qālū aghnā ʿankum jamʿukum wa‑mā kuntum tastakbirūna
The men on the heights will call to certain men whom they will know from their marks, saying: "Of what profit to you were your hoards and your arrogant ways?
(7:50)

وَنَادَىٰٓ  أَصْحَٰبُ  ٱلنَّارِ  أَصْحَٰبَ  ٱلْجَنَّةِ  أَنْ  أَفِيضُوا۟  عَلَيْنَا  مِنَ  ٱلْمَآءِ  أَوْ  مِمَّا  رَزَقَكُمُ  ٱللَّـهُ  قَالُوٓا۟  إِنَّ  ٱللَّـهَ  حَرَّمَهُمَا  عَلَى  ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ wa‑nādā aṣḥābu l‑nāri aṣḥāba l‑jannati an afīḍū ʿalaynā mina l‑māʾi aw mimmā razaqakumu allāhu qālū inna allāha ḥarramahumā ʿalā l‑kāfirīna
The Companions of the Fire will call to the Companions of the Garden: "Pour down to us water or anything that Allah doth provide for your sustenance." They will say: "Both these things hath Allah forbidden to those who rejected Him."

Surah 11 Hūd (Hud)
(11:42)

وَهِىَ  تَجْرِى  بِهِمْ  فِى  مَوْجٍ  كَٱلْجِبَالِ  وَنَادَىٰ  نُوحٌ  ٱبْنَهُۥ  وَكَانَ  فِى  مَعْزِلٍ  يَٰبُنَىَّ  ٱرْكَب  مَّعَنَا  وَلَا  تَكُن  مَّعَ  ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ wahiya tajrī bihim mawjin ka‑l‑jibāli wa‑nādā nūḥun abnahu wa‑kāna maʿzilin yā‑bunayya irkab maʿanā wa‑lā takun maʿa l‑kāfirīna
So the Ark floated with them on the waves (towering) like mountains, and Noah called out to his son, who had separated himself (from the rest): "O my son! embark with us, and be not with the unbelievers!"
(11:45)

وَنَادَىٰ  نُوحٌ  رَّبَّهُۥ  فَقَالَ  رَبِّ  إِنَّ  ٱبْنِى  مِنْ  أَهْلِى  وَإِنَّ  وَعْدَكَ  ٱلْحَقُّ  وَأَنتَ  أَحْكَمُ  ٱلْحَٰكِمِينَ wa‑nādā nūḥun rrabbahu fa‑qāla rabbi inna abnī min ahlī wa‑inna waʿdaka l‑ḥaqqu wa‑anta aḥkamu l‑ḥākimīna
And Noah called upon his Lord, and said: "O my Lord! surely my son is of my family! and Thy promise is true, and Thou art the justest of Judges!"

Surah 18 al-Kahf (The Cave)
(18:52)

وَيَوْمَ  يَقُولُ  نَادُوا۟  شُرَكَآءِىَ  ٱلَّذِينَ  زَعَمْتُمْ  فَدَعَوْهُمْ  فَلَمْ  يَسْتَجِيبُوا۟  لَهُمْ  وَجَعَلْنَا  بَيْنَهُم  مَّوْبِقًا wa‑yawma yaqūlu nādū shurakāʾiya lladhīna zaʿamtum fadaʿawhum falam yastajībū lahum wa‑jaʿalnā baynahum mawbiqan
One Day He will say, "Call on those whom ye thought to be My partners," and they will call on them, but they will not listen to them; and We shall make for them a place of common perdition.

Surah 19 Maryam (Mary)
(19:3)

إِذْ  نَادَىٰ  رَبَّهُۥ  نِدَآءً  خَفِيًّا idh nādā rabbahu nidāan khafīyan
Behold! he cried to his Lord in secret,
(19:24)

فَنَادَىٰهَا  مِن  تَحْتِهَآ  أَلَّا  تَحْزَنِى  قَدْ  جَعَلَ  رَبُّكِ  تَحْتَكِ  سَرِيًّا fanādahā min taḥtihā allā taḥzanī qad jaʿala rabbuki taḥtaki sariyyan
But (a voice) cried to her from beneath the (palm-tree): "Grieve not! for thy Lord hath provided a rivulet beneath thee;
(19:52)

وَنَٰدَيْنَٰهُ  مِن  جَانِبِ  ٱلطُّورِ  ٱلْأَيْمَنِ  وَقَرَّبْنَٰهُ  نَجِيًّا wa‑nādaynāhu min jānibi l‑ṭūri l‑aymani wa‑qarrabnāhu najiyyan
And we called him from the right side of Mount (Sinai), and made him draw near to Us, for mystic (converse).

Surah 20 Ṭā Hā (Ta-Ha)
(20:11)

فَلَمَّآ  أَتَىٰهَا  نُودِىَ  يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ fa‑lammā atahā nūdiya yā‑mūsā
But when he came to the fire, a voice was heard: "O Moses!

Surah 21 al-Anbiyāʾ (The Prophets)
(21:76)

وَنُوحًا  إِذْ  نَادَىٰ  مِن  قَبْلُ  فَٱسْتَجَبْنَا  لَهُۥ  فَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ  وَأَهْلَهُۥ  مِنَ  ٱلْكَرْبِ  ٱلْعَظِيمِ wa‑nūḥan idh nādā min qablu fa‑istajabnā lahu fa‑najjaynāhu wa‑ahlahu mina l‑karbi l‑ʿaẓīmi
(Remember) Noah, when he cried (to Us) aforetime: We listened to his (prayer) and delivered him and his family from great distress.
(21:83)

وَأَيُّوبَ  إِذْ  نَادَىٰ  رَبَّهُۥٓ  أَنِّى  مَسَّنِىَ  ٱلضُّرُّ  وَأَنتَ  أَرْحَمُ  ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ wa‑ayyūba idh nādā rabbahu annī massaniya l‑ḍurru wa‑anta arḥamu l‑rāḥimīna
And (remember) Job, when He cried to his Lord, "Truly distress has seized me, but Thou art the Most Merciful of those that are merciful."
(21:87)

وَذَا  ٱلنُّونِ  إِذ  ذَّهَبَ  مُغَٰضِبًا  فَظَنَّ  أَن  لَّن  نَّقْدِرَ  عَلَيْهِ  فَنَادَىٰ  فِى  ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ  أَن  لَّآ  إِلَٰهَ  إِلَّآ  أَنتَ  سُبْحَٰنَكَ  إِنِّى  كُنتُ  مِنَ  ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ wa‑dhā l‑nūni idh dhdhahaba mughāḍiban fa‑ẓanna an lan nnaqdira ʿalayhi fanāda l‑ẓulumāti an ilāha illā anta subḥānaka innī kuntu mina l‑ẓālimīna
And remember Zun-nun, when he departed in wrath: He imagined that We had no power over him! But he cried through the depths of darkness, "There is no god but thou: glory to thee: I was indeed wrong!"
(21:89)

وَزَكَرِيَّآ  إِذْ  نَادَىٰ  رَبَّهُۥ  رَبِّ  لَا  تَذَرْنِى  فَرْدًا  وَأَنتَ  خَيْرُ  ٱلْوَٰرِثِينَ wa‑zakarīyā idh nādā rabbahu rabbi tadharnī fardan waanta khayru l‑wārithīna
And (remember) Zakariya, when he cried to his Lord: "O my Lord! leave me not without offspring, though thou art the best of inheritors."

Surah 26 al-Shuʿarā (The Poets)
(26:10)

وَإِذْ  نَادَىٰ  رَبُّكَ  مُوسَىٰٓ  أَنِ  ٱئْتِ  ٱلْقَوْمَ  ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ wa‑idh nādā rabbuka mūsā ani iʾti l‑qawma l‑ẓālimīna
Behold, thy Lord called Moses: "Go to the people of iniquity,-

Surah 27 al-Naml (The Ant)
(27:8)

فَلَمَّا  جَآءَهَا  نُودِىَ  أَنۢ  بُورِكَ  مَن  فِى  ٱلنَّارِ  وَمَنْ  حَوْلَهَا  وَسُبْحَٰنَ  ٱللَّـهِ  رَبِّ  ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ fa‑lammā jāʾahā nūdiya an būrika man l‑nāri wa‑man ḥawlahā wa‑subḥāna allāhi rabbi l‑ʿālamīna
But when he came to the (fire), a voice was heard: "Blessed are those in the fire and those around: and glory to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

Surah 28 al-Qaṣaṣ (The Narrative)
(28:30)

فَلَمَّآ  أَتَىٰهَا  نُودِىَ  مِن  شَٰطِئِ  ٱلْوَادِ  ٱلْأَيْمَنِ  فِى  ٱلْبُقْعَةِ  ٱلْمُبَٰرَكَةِ  مِنَ  ٱلشَّجَرَةِ  أَن  يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ  إِنِّىٓ  أَنَا  ٱللَّـهُ  رَبُّ  ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ fa‑lammā atahā nūdiya min shāṭii l‑wādi l‑aymani l‑buqʿati l‑mubārakati mina l‑shajarati an yā‑mūsā innī anā allāhu rabbu l‑ʿālamīna
But when he came to the (fire), a voice was heard from the right bank of the valley, from a tree in hallowed ground: "O Moses! Verily I am Allah, the Lord of the Worlds....
(28:46)

وَمَا  كُنتَ  بِجَانِبِ  ٱلطُّورِ  إِذْ  نَادَيْنَا  وَلَٰكِن  رَّحْمَةً  مِّن  رَّبِّكَ  لِتُنذِرَ  قَوْمًا  مَّآ  أَتَىٰهُم  مِّن  نَّذِيرٍ  مِّن  قَبْلِكَ  لَعَلَّهُمْ  يَتَذَكَّرُونَ wa‑mā kunta bi‑jānibi l‑ṭūri idh nādaynā wa‑lākin rraḥmatan min rabbika li‑tundhira qawman atāhum min nnadhīrin min qablika la‑ʿallahum yatadhakkarūna
Nor wast thou at the side of (the Mountain of) Tur when we called (to Moses). Yet (art thou sent) as Mercy from thy Lord, to give warning to a people to whom no warner had come before thee: in order that they may receive admonition.
(28:62)

وَيَوْمَ  يُنَادِيهِمْ  فَيَقُولُ  أَيْنَ  شُرَكَآءِىَ  ٱلَّذِينَ  كُنتُمْ  تَزْعُمُونَ wa‑yawma yunādīhim fa‑yaqūlu ayna shurakāʾiya lladhīna kuntum tazʿumūna
That Day (Allah) will call to them, and say "Where are my 'partners'?- whom ye imagined (to be such)?"
(28:65)

وَيَوْمَ  يُنَادِيهِمْ  فَيَقُولُ  مَاذَآ  أَجَبْتُمُ  ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ wa‑yawma yunādīhim fa‑yaqūlu mādhā ajabtumu l‑mursalīna
That Day (Allah) will call to them, and say: "What was the answer ye gave to the messengers?"
(28:74)

وَيَوْمَ  يُنَادِيهِمْ  فَيَقُولُ  أَيْنَ  شُرَكَآءِىَ  ٱلَّذِينَ  كُنتُمْ  تَزْعُمُونَ wa‑yawma yunādīhim fa‑yaqūlu ayna shurakāʾiya lladhīna kuntum tazʿumūna
The Day that He will call on them, He will say: "Where are my 'partners'? whom ye imagined (to be such)?"

Surah 37 al-Ṣaffāt (The Rangers)
(37:75)

وَلَقَدْ  نَادَىٰنَا  نُوحٌ  فَلَنِعْمَ  ٱلْمُجِيبُونَ wa‑la‑qad nādanā nūḥun fa‑laniʿma l‑mujībūna
(In the days of old), Noah cried to Us, and We are the best to hear prayer.
(37:104)

وَنَٰدَيْنَٰهُ  أَن  يَٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ wa‑nādaynāhu an yā‑ibrāhīmu
We called out to him "O Abraham!

Surah 38 Ṣād (Sad)
(38:3)

كَمْ  أَهْلَكْنَا  مِن  قَبْلِهِم  مِّن  قَرْنٍ  فَنَادَوا۟  وَّلَاتَ  حِينَ  مَنَاصٍ kam ahlaknā min qablihim min qarnin fa‑nādaw wa‑lāta ḥīna manāṣin
How many generations before them did We destroy? In the end they cried (for mercy)- when there was no longer time for being saved!
(38:41)

وَٱذْكُرْ  عَبْدَنَآ  أَيُّوبَ  إِذْ  نَادَىٰ  رَبَّهُۥٓ  أَنِّى  مَسَّنِىَ  ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ  بِنُصْبٍ  وَعَذَابٍ wa‑idhkur ʿabdanā ayyūba idh nādā rabbahu annī massaniya l‑shayṭānu bi‑nuṣbin wa‑ʿadhābin
Commemorate Our Servant Job. Behold he cried to his Lord: "The Evil One has afflicted me with distress and suffering!"

Surah 40 al-Ghāfir (The Forgiving One)
(40:10)

إِنَّ  ٱلَّذِينَ  كَفَرُوا۟  يُنَادَوْنَ  لَمَقْتُ  ٱللَّـهِ  أَكْبَرُ  مِن  مَّقْتِكُمْ  أَنفُسَكُمْ  إِذْ  تُدْعَوْنَ  إِلَى  ٱلْإِيمَٰنِ  فَتَكْفُرُونَ inna lladhīna kafarū yunādawna lamaqtu allāhi akbaru min maqtikum anfusakum idh tudʿawna ilā l‑īmāni fa‑takfurūna
The Unbelievers will be addressed: "Greater was the aversion of Allah to you than (is) your aversion to yourselves, seeing that ye were called to the Faith and ye used to refuse."

Surah 41 Fuṣṣilat (Revelations Well Expounded)
(41:44)

وَلَوْ  جَعَلْنَٰهُ  قُرْءَانًا  أَعْجَمِيًّا  لَّقَالُوا۟  لَوْلَا  فُصِّلَتْ  ءَايَٰتُهُۥٓ  ءَا۬عْجَمِىٌّ  وَعَرَبِىٌّ  قُلْ  هُوَ  لِلَّذِينَ  ءَامَنُوا۟  هُدًى  وَشِفَآءٌ  وَٱلَّذِينَ  لَا  يُؤْمِنُونَ  فِىٓ  ءَاذَانِهِمْ  وَقْرٌ  وَهُوَ  عَلَيْهِمْ  عَمًى  أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ  يُنَادَوْنَ  مِن  مَّكَانٍۭ  بَعِيدٍ wa‑law jaʿalnāhu qurʾānan aʿjamiyyan llaqālū lawlā fuṣṣilat āyātuhu aʿjamiyyun wa‑ʿarabiyyun qul huwa li‑lladhīna āmanū hudan wa‑shifāʾun wa‑lladhīna yuʾminūna ādhānihim waqrun wa‑huwa ʿalayhim ʿaman ulāʾika yunādawna min makānin baʿīdin
Had We sent this as a Qur'an (in the language) other than Arabic, they would have said: "Why are not its verses explained in detail? What! (a Book) not in Arabic and (a Messenger an Arab?" Say: "It is a Guide and a Healing to those who believe; and for those who believe not, there is a deafness in their ears, and it is blindness in their (eyes): They are (as it were) being called from a place far distant!"
(41:47)

إِلَيْهِ  يُرَدُّ  عِلْمُ  ٱلسَّاعَةِ  وَمَا  تَخْرُجُ  مِن  ثَمَرَٰتٍ  مِّنْ  أَكْمَامِهَا  وَمَا  تَحْمِلُ  مِنْ  أُنثَىٰ  وَلَا  تَضَعُ  إِلَّا  بِعِلْمِهِۦ  وَيَوْمَ  يُنَادِيهِمْ  أَيْنَ  شُرَكَآءِى  قَالُوٓا۟  ءَاذَنَّٰكَ  مَا  مِنَّا  مِن  شَهِيدٍ ilayhi yuraddu ʿilmu l‑sāʿati wa‑mā takhruju min thamarātin min akmāmihā wa‑mā taḥmilu min unthā wa‑lā taḍaʿu illā biʿilmihi wa‑yawma yunādīhim ayna shurakāʾī qālū ādhannāka minnā min shahīdin
To Him is referred the Knowledge of the Hour (of Judgment: He knows all): No date-fruit comes out of its sheath, nor does a female conceive (within her womb) nor bring forth the Day that (Allah) will propound to them the (question), "Where are the partners (ye attributed to Me?" They will say, "We do assure thee not one of us can bear witness!"

Surah 43 al-Zukhruf (The Embellishment)
(43:51)

وَنَادَىٰ  فِرْعَوْنُ  فِى  قَوْمِهِۦ  قَالَ  يَٰقَوْمِ  أَلَيْسَ  لِى  مُلْكُ  مِصْرَ  وَهَٰذِهِ  ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ  تَجْرِى  مِن  تَحْتِىٓ  أَفَلَا  تُبْصِرُونَ wa‑nādā firʿawun qawmihi qalā yā‑qawmi a‑laysa mulku miṣra wa‑hādhihi l‑anhāru tajrī min taḥtī a‑fa‑lā tubṣirūna
And Pharaoh proclaimed among his people, saying: "O my people! Does not the dominion of Egypt belong to me, (witness) these streams flowing underneath my (palace)? What! see ye not then?
(43:77)

وَنَادَوْا۟  يَٰمَٰلِكُ  لِيَقْضِ  عَلَيْنَا  رَبُّكَ  قَالَ  إِنَّكُم  مَّٰكِثُونَ wa‑nādaw yā‑māliku li‑yaqḍi ʿalaynā rabbuka qalā innakum mākithūna
They will cry: "O Malik! would that thy Lord put an end to us!" He will say, "Nay, but ye shall abide!"

Surah 49 al-Ḥujurāt (The Chambers)
(49:4)

إِنَّ  ٱلَّذِينَ  يُنَادُونَكَ  مِن  وَرَآءِ  ٱلْحُجُرَٰتِ  أَكْثَرُهُمْ  لَا  يَعْقِلُونَ inna lladhīna yunādūnaka min warāʾi l‑ḥujurāti aktharuhum yaʿqilūna
Those who shout out to thee from without the inner apartments - most of them lack understanding.

Surah 50 Qāf (Qaf)
(50:41)

وَٱسْتَمِعْ  يَوْمَ  يُنَادِ  ٱلْمُنَادِ  مِن  مَّكَانٍ  قَرِيبٍ wa‑istamiʿ yawma yunādi l‑munādi min makānin qarībin
And listen for the Day when the Caller will call out from a place quiet near,-

Surah 54 al-Qamar (The Moon)
(54:29)

فَنَادَوْا۟  صَاحِبَهُمْ  فَتَعَاطَىٰ  فَعَقَرَ fa‑nādaw ṣāḥibahum fa‑taʿāṭa fa‑ʿaqara
But they called to their companion, and he took a sword in hand, and hamstrung (her).

Surah 57 al-Ḥadīd (The Iron)
(57:14)

يُنَادُونَهُمْ  أَلَمْ  نَكُن  مَّعَكُمْ  قَالُوا۟  بَلَىٰ  وَلَٰكِنَّكُمْ  فَتَنتُمْ  أَنفُسَكُمْ  وَتَرَبَّصْتُمْ  وَٱرْتَبْتُمْ  وَغَرَّتْكُمُ  ٱلْأَمَانِىُّ  حَتَّىٰ  جَآءَ  أَمْرُ  ٱللَّـهِ  وَغَرَّكُم  بِٱللَّـهِ  ٱلْغَرُورُ yunādūnahum a‑lam nakun maʿakum qālū balā wa‑lākinnakum fatantum anfusakum wa‑tarabbaṣtum wa‑artabtum wa‑gharratkumu l‑amāniyyu ḥattā jāa amru allāhi wa‑gharrakum billāhi l‑gharūru
(Those without) will call out, "Were we not with you?" (The others) will reply, "True! but ye led yourselves into temptation; ye looked forward (to our ruin); ye doubted (Allah's Promise); and (your false) desires deceived you; until there issued the Command of Allah. And the Deceiver deceived you in respect of Allah.

Surah 62 al-Jumuʿah (The Day of Congregation)
(62:9)

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا  ٱلَّذِينَ  ءَامَنُوٓا۟  إِذَا  نُودِىَ  لِلصَّلَوٰةِ  مِن  يَوْمِ  ٱلْجُمُعَةِ  فَٱسْعَوْا۟  إِلَىٰ  ذِكْرِ  ٱللَّـهِ  وَذَرُوا۟  ٱلْبَيْعَ  ذَٰلِكُمْ  خَيْرٌ  لَّكُمْ  إِن  كُنتُمْ  تَعْلَمُونَ yā‑ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū idhā nūdiya lil‑ṣalāti min yawmi l‑jumuʿati fa‑isʿaw ilā dhikri allāhi wa‑dharū l‑bayʿa dhālikum khayrun la‑kum in kuntum taʿlamūna
O ye who believe! When the call is proclaimed to prayer on Friday (the Day of Assembly), hasten earnestly to the Remembrance of Allah, and leave off business (and traffic): That is best for you if ye but knew!

Surah 68 al-Qalam (The Pen)
(68:21)

فَتَنَادَوْا۟  مُصْبِحِينَ fa‑tanādaw muṣbiḥīna
As the morning broke, they called out, one to another,-
(68:48)

فَٱصْبِرْ  لِحُكْمِ  رَبِّكَ  وَلَا  تَكُن  كَصَاحِبِ  ٱلْحُوتِ  إِذْ  نَادَىٰ  وَهُوَ  مَكْظُومٌ fa‑iṣbir li‑ḥukmi rabbika wa‑lā takun ka‑ṣāḥibi l‑ḥūti idh nādā wa‑huwa makẓūmun
So wait with patience for the Command of thy Lord, and be not like the Companion of the Fish,- when he cried out in agony.

Surah 79 al-Nāziʿāt (Those Who Pull Out)
(79:16)

إِذْ  نَادَىٰهُ  رَبُّهُۥ  بِٱلْوَادِ  ٱلْمُقَدَّسِ  طُوًى idh nādāhu rabbuhu bil‑wādi l‑muqaddasi ṭuwan
Behold, thy Lord did call to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa:-
(79:23)

فَحَشَرَ  فَنَادَىٰ fa‑ḥashara fa‑nādā
Then he collected (his men) and made a proclamation,
