Surah 2 al-Baqara (The Cow)
RefArabic    TransliterationTranslation
(2:48)

وَٱتَّقُوا۟  يَوْمًا  لَّا  تَجْزِى  نَفْسٌ  عَن  نَّفْسٍ  شَيْـًٔا  وَلَا  يُقْبَلُ  مِنْهَا  شَفَٰعَةٌ  وَلَا  يُؤْخَذُ  مِنْهَا  عَدْلٌ  وَلَا  هُمْ  يُنصَرُونَ wa‑ittaqū yawman tajzī nafsun ʿan nafsin shayʾan wa‑lā yuqbalu minhā shafāʿatun wa‑lā yuʾkhadhu minhā ʿadlun wa‑lā hum yunṣarūna
Then guard yourselves against a day when one soul shall not avail another nor shall intercession be accepted for her, nor shall compensation be taken from her, nor shall anyone be helped (from outside).
(2:86)

These are the people who buy the life of this world at the price of the Hereafter: their penalty shall not be lightened nor shall they be helped.
(2:123)

وَٱتَّقُوا۟  يَوْمًا  لَّا  تَجْزِى  نَفْسٌ  عَن  نَّفْسٍ  شَيْـًٔا  وَلَا  يُقْبَلُ  مِنْهَا  عَدْلٌ  وَلَا  تَنفَعُهَا  شَفَٰعَةٌ  وَلَا  هُمْ  يُنصَرُونَ wa‑ittaqū yawman tajzī nafsun ʿan nafsin shayʾan wa‑lā yuqbalu minhā ʿadlun wa‑lā tanfaʿuhā shafāʿatun wa‑lā hum yunṣarūna
Then guard yourselves against a-Day when one soul shall not avail another, nor shall compensation be accepted from her nor shall intercession profit her nor shall anyone be helped (from outside).

Surah 3 Āl-ʿImrān (The Family of Imran)
(3:111)

لَن  يَضُرُّوكُمْ  إِلَّآ  أَذًى  وَإِن  يُقَٰتِلُوكُمْ  يُوَلُّوكُمُ  ٱلْأَدْبَارَ  ثُمَّ  لَا  يُنصَرُونَ lan yaḍurrūkum illā adhan wa‑in yuqātilūkum yuwallūkumu l‑adbāra thumma yunṣarūna
They will do you no harm, barring a trifling annoyance; if they come out to fight you, they will show you their backs, and no help shall they get.
(3:123)

Allah had helped you at Badr, when ye were a contemptible little force; then fear Allah; thus May ye show your gratitude.
(3:160)

إِن  يَنصُرْكُمُ  ٱللَّـهُ  فَلَا  غَالِبَ  لَكُمْ  وَإِن  يَخْذُلْكُمْ  فَمَن  ذَا  ٱلَّذِى  يَنصُرُكُم  مِّنۢ  بَعْدِهِۦ  وَعَلَى  ٱللَّـهِ  فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ  ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ in yanṣurkumu allāhu fa‑lā ghāliba la‑kum wa‑in yakhdhulkum fa‑man dhā alladhī yanṣurukum min baʿdihi wa‑ʿalā allāhi fa‑l‑yatawakkali l‑muʾminūna
If Allah helps you, none can overcome you: If He forsakes you, who is there, after that, that can help you? in Allah, then, Let believers put their trust.

Surah 7 al-Aʿrāf (The Heights)
(7:157)

"Those who follow the messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the law and the Gospel;- for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him, honour him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him,- it is they who will prosper."
(7:192)

No aid can they give them, nor can they aid themselves!
(7:197)

"But those ye call upon besides Him, are unable to help you, and indeed to help themselves."

Surah 8 al-Anfāl (The Spoils of War)
(8:72)

إِنَّ  ٱلَّذِينَ  ءَامَنُوا۟  وَهَاجَرُوا۟  وَجَٰهَدُوا۟  بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ  وَأَنفُسِهِمْ  فِى  سَبِيلِ  ٱللَّـهِ  وَٱلَّذِينَ  ءَاوَوا۟  وَّنَصَرُوٓا۟  أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ  بَعْضُهُمْ  أَوْلِيَآءُ  بَعْضٍ  وَٱلَّذِينَ  ءَامَنُوا۟  وَلَمْ  يُهَاجِرُوا۟  مَا  لَكُم  مِّن  وَلَٰيَتِهِم  مِّن  شَىْءٍ  حَتَّىٰ  يُهَاجِرُوا۟  وَإِنِ  ٱسْتَنصَرُوكُمْ  فِى  ٱلدِّينِ  فَعَلَيْكُمُ  ٱلنَّصْرُ  إِلَّا  عَلَىٰ  قَوْمٍۭ  بَيْنَكُمْ  وَبَيْنَهُم  مِّيثَٰقٌ  وَٱللَّـهُ  بِمَا  تَعْمَلُونَ  بَصِيرٌ inna lladhīna āmanū wa‑hājarū wa‑jāhadū bi‑amwālihim wa‑anfusihim sabīli allāhi wa‑lladhīna āwaw wwa‑naṣarū ulāʾika baʿḍuhum awliyāʾu baʿḍin wa‑lladhīna āmanū wa‑lam yuhājirū la‑kum min walāyatihim min shayʾin ḥattā yuhājirū wa‑ini istanṣarūkum l‑dīni faʿalaykumu l‑naṣru illā ʿalā qawmin baynakum wa‑baynahum mīthāqun wallāhu bi‑mā taʿmalūna baṣīrun
Those who believed, and adopted exile, and fought for the Faith, with their property and their persons, in the cause of Allah, as well as those who gave (them) asylum and aid,- these are (all) friends and protectors, one of another. As to those who believed but came not into exile, ye owe no duty of protection to them until they come into exile; but if they seek your aid in religion, it is your duty to help them, except against a people with whom ye have a treaty of mutual alliance. And (remember) Allah seeth all that ye do.
(8:74)

Those who believe, and adopt exile, and fight for the Faith, in the cause of Allah as well as those who give (them) asylum and aid,- these are (all) in very truth the Believers: for them is the forgiveness of sins and a provision most generous.

Surah 9 al-Tawbah (Repentance)
(9:14)

Fight them, and Allah will punish them by your hands, cover them with shame, help you (to victory) over them, heal the breasts of Believers,
(9:25)

لَقَدْ  نَصَرَكُمُ  ٱللَّـهُ  فِى  مَوَاطِنَ  كَثِيرَةٍ  وَيَوْمَ  حُنَيْنٍ  إِذْ  أَعْجَبَتْكُمْ  كَثْرَتُكُمْ  فَلَمْ  تُغْنِ  عَنكُمْ  شَيْـًٔا  وَضَاقَتْ  عَلَيْكُمُ  ٱلْأَرْضُ  بِمَا  رَحُبَتْ  ثُمَّ  وَلَّيْتُم  مُّدْبِرِينَ la‑qad naṣarakumu allāhu mawāṭina kathīratin wa‑yawma ḥunaynin idh aʿjabatkum kathratukum falam tughni ʿankum shayʾan wa‑ḍāqat ʿalaykumu l‑arḍu bi‑mā raḥubat thumma wallaytum mudbirīna
Assuredly Allah did help you in many battle-fields and on the day of Hunain: Behold! your great numbers elated you, but they availed you naught: the land, for all that it is wide, did constrain you, and ye turned back in retreat.
(9:40)

If ye help not (your leader), (it is no matter): for Allah did indeed help him, when the Unbelievers drove him out: he had no more than one companion; they two were in the cave, and he said to his companion, "Have no fear, for Allah is with us": then Allah sent down His peace upon him, and strengthened him with forces which ye saw not, and humbled to the depths the word of the Unbelievers. But the word of Allah is exalted to the heights: for Allah is Exalted in might, Wise.

Surah 11 Hūd (Hud)
(11:30)

وَيَٰقَوْمِ  مَن  يَنصُرُنِى  مِنَ  ٱللَّـهِ  إِن  طَرَدتُّهُمْ  أَفَلَا  تَذَكَّرُونَ wa‑yā‑qawmi man yanṣurunī mina allāhi in ṭaradttuhum a‑fa‑lā tadhakkarūna
"And O my people! who would help me against Allah if I drove them away? Will ye not then take heed?
(11:63)

قَالَ  يَٰقَوْمِ  أَرَءَيْتُمْ  إِن  كُنتُ  عَلَىٰ  بَيِّنَةٍ  مِّن  رَّبِّى  وَءَاتَىٰنِى  مِنْهُ  رَحْمَةً  فَمَن  يَنصُرُنِى  مِنَ  ٱللَّـهِ  إِنْ  عَصَيْتُهُۥ  فَمَا  تَزِيدُونَنِى  غَيْرَ  تَخْسِيرٍ qalā yā‑qawmi a‑raʾaytum in kuntu ʿalā bayyinatin min rrabbī wa‑ātanī minhu raḥmatan fa‑man yanṣurunī mina allāhi in ʿaṣaytuhu fa‑mā tazīdūnanī ghayra takhsīrin
He said: "O my people! do ye see? if I have a Clear (Sign) from my Lord and He hath sent Mercy unto me from Himself,- who then can help me against Allah if I were to disobey Him? What then would ye add to my (portion) but perdition?

Surah 18 al-Kahf (The Cave)
(18:43)

Nor had he numbers to help him against Allah, nor was he able to deliver himself.

Surah 21 al-Anbiyāʾ (The Prophets)
(21:39)

لَوْ  يَعْلَمُ  ٱلَّذِينَ  كَفَرُوا۟  حِينَ  لَا  يَكُفُّونَ  عَن  وُجُوهِهِمُ  ٱلنَّارَ  وَلَا  عَن  ظُهُورِهِمْ  وَلَا  هُمْ  يُنصَرُونَ law yaʿlamu lladhīna kafarū ḥīna yakuffūna ʿan wujūhihimu l‑nāra wa‑lā ʿan ẓuhūrihim wa‑lā hum yunṣarūna
If only the Unbelievers knew (the time) when they will not be able to ward off the fire from their faces, nor yet from their backs, and (when) no help can reach them!

Surah 22 al-Ḥajj (The Pilgrimage)
(22:15)

مَن  كَانَ  يَظُنُّ  أَن  لَّن  يَنصُرَهُ  ٱللَّـهُ  فِى  ٱلدُّنْيَا  وَٱلْأَخِرَةِ  فَلْيَمْدُدْ  بِسَبَبٍ  إِلَى  ٱلسَّمَآءِ  ثُمَّ  لْيَقْطَعْ  فَلْيَنظُرْ  هَلْ  يُذْهِبَنَّ  كَيْدُهُۥ  مَا  يَغِيظُ man kāna yaẓunnu an lan yanṣurahu allāhu l‑dunyā wa‑l‑akhirati fa‑l‑yamdud bi‑sababin ilā l‑samāʾi thumma l‑yaqṭaʿ falyanẓur hal yudhhibanna kayduhu yaghīẓu
If any think that Allah will not help him (His Messenger) in this world and the Hereafter, let him stretch out a rope to the ceiling and cut (himself) off: then let him see whether his plan will remove that which enrages (him)!
(22:40)

ٱلَّذِينَ  أُخْرِجُوا۟  مِن  دِيَٰرِهِم  بِغَيْرِ  حَقٍّ  إِلَّآ  أَن  يَقُولُوا۟  رَبُّنَا  ٱللَّـهُ  وَلَوْلَا  دَفْعُ  ٱللَّـهِ  ٱلنَّاسَ  بَعْضَهُم  بِبَعْضٍ  لَّهُدِّمَتْ  صَوَٰمِعُ  وَبِيَعٌ  وَصَلَوَٰتٌ  وَمَسَٰجِدُ  يُذْكَرُ  فِيهَا  ٱسْمُ  ٱللَّـهِ  كَثِيرًا  وَلَيَنصُرَنَّ  ٱللَّـهُ  مَن  يَنصُرُهُۥٓ  إِنَّ  ٱللَّـهَ  لَقَوِىٌّ  عَزِيزٌ lladhīna ukhrijū min diyārihim bi‑ghayri ḥaqqin illā an yaqūlū rabbunā allāhu wa‑lawlā dafʿu allāhi l‑nāsa baʿḍahum bi‑baʿḍin la‑huddimat ṣawāmiʿu wa‑biyaʿun wa‑ṣalawātun wa‑masājidu yudhkaru fīhā smu allāhi kathīran wa‑la‑yanṣuranna allāhu man yanṣuruhu inna allāha la‑qawiyyun ʿazīzun
(They are) those who have been expelled from their homes in defiance of right,- (for no cause) except that they say, "our Lord is Allah". Did not Allah check one set of people by means of another, there would surely have been pulled down monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques, in which the name of Allah is commemorated in abundant measure. Allah will certainly aid those who aid his (cause);- for verily Allah is full of Strength, Exalted in Might, (able to enforce His Will).
(22:60)

ذَٰلِكَ  وَمَنْ  عَاقَبَ  بِمِثْلِ  مَا  عُوقِبَ  بِهِۦ  ثُمَّ  بُغِىَ  عَلَيْهِ  لَيَنصُرَنَّهُ  ٱللَّـهُ  إِنَّ  ٱللَّـهَ  لَعَفُوٌّ  غَفُورٌ dhālika wa‑man ʿāqaba bi‑mithli ʿūqiba bihi thumma bughiya ʿalayhi la‑yanṣurannahu allāhu inna allāha laʿafūwun ghafūrun
That (is so). And if one has retaliated to no greater extent than the injury he received, and is again set upon inordinately, Allah will help him: for Allah is One that blots out (sins) and forgives (again and again).

Surah 26 al-Shuʿarā (The Poets)
(26:93)

"'Besides Allah? Can they help you or help themselves?'
(26:227)

Except those who believe, work righteousness, engage much in the remembrance of Allah, and defend themselves only after they are unjustly attacked. And soon will the unjust assailants know what vicissitudes their affairs will take!

Surah 28 al-Qaṣaṣ (The Narrative)
(28:18)

So he saw the morning in the city, looking about, in a state of fear, when behold, the man who had, the day before, sought his help called aloud for his help (again). Moses said to him: "Thou art truly, it is clear, a quarrelsome fellow!"
(28:41)

وَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ  أَئِمَّةً  يَدْعُونَ  إِلَى  ٱلنَّارِ  وَيَوْمَ  ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ  لَا  يُنصَرُونَ wa‑jaʿalnāhum aʾimmatan yadʿūna ilā l‑nāri wa‑yawma l‑qiyāmati yunṣarūna
And we made them (but) leaders inviting to the Fire; and on the Day of Judgment no help shall they find.
(28:81)

Then We caused the earth to swallow up him and his house; and he had not (the least little) party to help him against Allah, nor could he defend himself.

Surah 30 al-Rūm (The Romans)
(30:5)

بِنَصْرِ  ٱللَّـهِ  يَنصُرُ  مَن  يَشَآءُ  وَهُوَ  ٱلْعَزِيزُ  ٱلرَّحِيمُ binaṣri allāhi yanṣuru man yashāʾu wa‑huwa l‑ʿazīzu l‑raḥīmu
With the help of Allah. He helps whom He will, and He is exalted in might, most merciful.

Surah 36 Yā Sin (Ya Sin)
(36:74)

Yet they take (for worship) gods other than Allah, (hoping) that they might be helped!

Surah 40 al-Ghāfir (The Forgiving One)
(40:29)

يَٰقَوْمِ  لَكُمُ  ٱلْمُلْكُ  ٱلْيَوْمَ  ظَٰهِرِينَ  فِى  ٱلْأَرْضِ  فَمَن  يَنصُرُنَا  مِنۢ  بَأْسِ  ٱللَّـهِ  إِن  جَآءَنَا  قَالَ  فِرْعَوْنُ  مَآ  أُرِيكُمْ  إِلَّا  مَآ  أَرَىٰ  وَمَآ  أَهْدِيكُمْ  إِلَّا  سَبِيلَ  ٱلرَّشَادِ yā‑qawmi lakumu l‑mulku l‑yawma ẓāhirīna l‑arḍi fa‑man yanṣurunā min basi allāhi in jāʾanā qalā firʿawun urīkum illā ara wa‑mā ahdīkum illā sabīla l‑rashādi
"O my People! Yours is the dominion this day: Ye have the upper hand in the land: but who will help us from the Punishment of Allah, should it befall us?" Pharaoh said: "I but point out to you that which I see (myself); Nor do I guide you but to the Path of Right!"

Surah 41 Fuṣṣilat (Revelations Well Expounded)
(41:16)

So We sent against them a furious Wind through days of disaster, that We might give them a taste of a Penalty of humiliation in this life; but the Penalty of a Hereafter will be more humiliating still: and they will find no help.

Surah 42 al-Shūrā (The Counsel)
(42:39)

And those who, when an oppressive wrong is inflicted on them, (are not cowed but) help and defend themselves.
(42:41)

But indeed if any do help and defend themselves after a wrong (done) to them, against such there is no cause of blame.
(42:46)

وَمَا  كَانَ  لَهُم  مِّنْ  أَوْلِيَآءَ  يَنصُرُونَهُم  مِّن  دُونِ  ٱللَّـهِ  وَمَن  يُضْلِلِ  ٱللَّـهُ  فَمَا  لَهُۥ  مِن  سَبِيلٍ wa‑mā kāna lahum min awliyāʾa yanṣurūnahum min dūni allāhi wa‑man yuḍlili allāhu fa‑mā lahu min sabīlin
And no protectors have they to help them, other than Allah. And for any whom Allah leaves to stray, there is no way (to the Goal).

Surah 44 al-Dukhān (The Evident Smoke)
(44:41)

يَوْمَ  لَا  يُغْنِى  مَوْلًى  عَن  مَّوْلًى  شَيْـًٔا  وَلَا  هُمْ  يُنصَرُونَ yawma yughnī mawlan ʿan mawlan shayʾan wa‑lā hum yunṣarūna
The Day when no protector can avail his client in aught, and no help can they receive,

Surah 46 al-Aḥqāf (The Sandhills)
(46:28)

Why then was no help forthcoming to them from those whom they worshipped as gods, besides Allah, as a means of access (to Allah)? Nay, they left them in the lurch: but that was their falsehood and their invention.

Surah 47 Muḥammad (Muhammad)
(47:4)

فَإِذَا  لَقِيتُمُ  ٱلَّذِينَ  كَفَرُوا۟  فَضَرْبَ  ٱلرِّقَابِ  حَتَّىٰٓ  إِذَآ  أَثْخَنتُمُوهُمْ  فَشُدُّوا۟  ٱلْوَثَاقَ  فَإِمَّا  مَنًّۢا  بَعْدُ  وَإِمَّا  فِدَآءً  حَتَّىٰ  تَضَعَ  ٱلْحَرْبُ  أَوْزَارَهَا  ذَٰلِكَ  وَلَوْ  يَشَآءُ  ٱللَّـهُ  لَٱنتَصَرَ  مِنْهُمْ  وَلَٰكِن  لِّيَبْلُوَا۟  بَعْضَكُم  بِبَعْضٍ  وَٱلَّذِينَ  قُتِلُوا۟  فِى  سَبِيلِ  ٱللَّـهِ  فَلَن  يُضِلَّ  أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ fa‑idhā laqītumu lladhīna kafarū fa‑ḍarba l‑riqābi ḥatta idhā athkhantumūhum fa‑shuddū l‑wathāqa fa‑immā mannan baʿdu wa‑immā fidāʾan ḥattā taḍaʿa l‑ḥarbu awzārahā dhālika wa‑law yashāʾu allāhu la‑intaṣara minhum wa‑lākin li‑yabluwā baʿḍakum bi‑baʿḍin wa‑lladhīna qutilū sabīli allāhi fa‑lan yuḍilla aʿmālahum
Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), smite at their necks; At length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its burdens. Thus (are ye commanded): but if it had been Allah's Will, He could certainly have exacted retribution from them (Himself); but (He lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the Way of Allah,- He will never let their deeds be lost.
(47:7)

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا  ٱلَّذِينَ  ءَامَنُوٓا۟  إِن  تَنصُرُوا۟  ٱللَّـهَ  يَنصُرْكُمْ  وَيُثَبِّتْ  أَقْدَامَكُمْ yā‑ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū in tanṣurū allāha yanṣurkum wa‑yuthabbit aqdāmakum
O ye who believe! If ye will aid (the cause of) Allah, He will aid you, and plant your feet firmly.

Surah 48 al-Fatḥ (The Victory)
(48:3)

And that Allah may help thee with powerful help.

Surah 52 al-Ṭūr (The Mountain)
(52:46)

يَوْمَ  لَا  يُغْنِى  عَنْهُمْ  كَيْدُهُمْ  شَيْـًٔا  وَلَا  هُمْ  يُنصَرُونَ yawma yughnī ʿanhum kayduhum shayʾan wa‑lā hum yunṣarūna
The Day when their plotting will avail them nothing and no help shall be given them.

Surah 57 al-Ḥadīd (The Iron)
(57:25)

لَقَدْ  أَرْسَلْنَا  رُسُلَنَا  بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ  وَأَنزَلْنَا  مَعَهُمُ  ٱلْكِتَٰبَ  وَٱلْمِيزَانَ  لِيَقُومَ  ٱلنَّاسُ  بِٱلْقِسْطِ  وَأَنزَلْنَا  ٱلْحَدِيدَ  فِيهِ  بَأْسٌ  شَدِيدٌ  وَمَنَٰفِعُ  لِلنَّاسِ  وَلِيَعْلَمَ  ٱللَّـهُ  مَن  يَنصُرُهُۥ  وَرُسُلَهُۥ  بِٱلْغَيْبِ  إِنَّ  ٱللَّـهَ  قَوِىٌّ  عَزِيزٌ la‑qad arsalnā rusulanā bil‑bayyināti wa‑anzalnā maʿahumu l‑kitāba wa‑l‑mīzāna li‑yaqūma l‑nāsu bil‑qisṭi wa‑anzalnā l‑ḥadīda fīhi basun shadīdun wa‑manāfiʿu lil‑nāsi wa‑li‑yaʿlama allāhu man yanṣuruhu wa‑rusulahu bil‑ghaybi inna allāha qawiyyun ʿazīzun
We sent aforetime our messengers with Clear Signs and sent down with them the Book and the Balance (of Right and Wrong), that men may stand forth in justice; and We sent down Iron, in which is (material for) mighty war, as well as many benefits for mankind, that Allah may test who it is that will help, Unseen, Him and His messengers: For Allah is Full of Strength, Exalted in Might (and able to enforce His Will).

Surah 59 al-Ḥashr (The Exile)
(59:8)

لِلْفُقَرَآءِ  ٱلْمُهَٰجِرِينَ  ٱلَّذِينَ  أُخْرِجُوا۟  مِن  دِيَٰرِهِمْ  وَأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ  يَبْتَغُونَ  فَضْلًا  مِّنَ  ٱللَّـهِ  وَرِضْوَٰنًا  وَيَنصُرُونَ  ٱللَّـهَ  وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ  أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ  هُمُ  ٱلصَّٰدِقُونَ lil‑fuqarāʾi l‑muhājirīna lladhīna ukhrijū min diyārihim wa‑amwālihim yabtaghūna faḍlan mina allāhi wa‑riḍwānan wa‑yanṣurūna allāha wa‑rasūlahu ulāʾika humu l‑ṣādiqūna
(Some part is due) to the indigent Muhajirs, those who were expelled from their homes and their property, while seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure, and aiding Allah and His Messenger: such are indeed the sincere ones:-
(59:12)

لَئِنْ  أُخْرِجُوا۟  لَا  يَخْرُجُونَ  مَعَهُمْ  وَلَئِن  قُوتِلُوا۟  لَا  يَنصُرُونَهُمْ  وَلَئِن  نَّصَرُوهُمْ  لَيُوَلُّنَّ  ٱلْأَدْبَٰرَ  ثُمَّ  لَا  يُنصَرُونَ lain ukhrijū yakhrujūna maʿahum wa‑laʾin qūtilū yanṣurūnahum wa‑laʾin nnaṣarūhum layūallunna l‑adbāra thumma yunṣarūna
If they are expelled, never will they go out with them; and if they are attacked (in fight), they will never help them; and if they do help them, they will turn their backs; so they will receive no help.

Surah 67 al-Mulk (The Kingdom)
(67:20)

أَمَّنْ  هَٰذَا  ٱلَّذِى  هُوَ  جُندٌ  لَّكُمْ  يَنصُرُكُم  مِّن  دُونِ  ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ  إِنِ  ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ  إِلَّا  فِى  غُرُورٍ a‑man hādhā alladhī huwa jundun la‑kum yanṣurukum min dūni l‑raḥmāni ini l‑kāfirūna illā ghurūrin
Nay, who is there that can help you, (even as) an army, besides (Allah) Most Merciful? In nothing but delusion are the Unbelievers.
