Sura al-Isrāʾ 17:83

وَإِذَآ أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَى ٱلْإِنسَٰنِ أَعْرَضَ وَنَـَٔا بِجَانِبِهِۦ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ كَانَ يَـُٔوسًا

wa-idhā anʿamnā ʿalā linsāni aʿraḍa wa-naʾā bi-jānibihi wa-idhā massahu l-sharru kāna yaʾūsan

Yet when We bestow Our favours on man, he turns away and becomes remote on his side (instead of coming to Us), and when evil seizes him he gives himself up to despair!

Sura Fuṣṣilat 41:51

وَإِذَآ أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَى ٱلْإِنسَٰنِ أَعْرَضَ وَنَـَٔا بِجَانِبِهِۦ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ فَذُو دُعَآءٍ عَرِيضٍ

wa-idhā anʿamnā ʿalā linsāni aʿraḍa wa-naʾā bi-jānibihi wa-idhā massahu l-sharru fa-dhū duʿāʾin ʿarīḍin

When We bestow favours on man, he turns away, and gets himself remote on his side (instead of coming to Us); and when evil seizes him, (he comes) full of prolonged prayer!

Sura al-Zukhruf 43:59

إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا عَبْدٌ أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَجَعَلْنَٰهُ مَثَلًا لِّبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ

in huwa illā ʿabdun anʿamnā ʿalayhi wa-jaʿalnāhu mathalan li-banī isrāʾīla

He was no more than a servant: We granted Our favour to him, and We made him an example to the Children of Israel.
