Sura al-Baqara 2:234

وَٱلَّذِينَ يُتَوَفَّوْنَ مِنكُمْ وَيَذَرُونَ أَزْوَٰجًا يَتَرَبَّصْنَ بِأَنفُسِهِنَّ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا فَإِذَا بَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيمَا فَعَلْنَ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِنَّ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَٱللَّـهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ

wa-lladhīna yutawaffawna minkum wa-yadharūna azwājan yatarabbaṣna bi-anfusihinna arbaʿata ashhurin wa-ʿashran fa-idhā balaghna ajalahunna fa-lā junāḥa ʿalaykum fī-mā faʿalna fī anfusihinna bil-maʿrūfi wallāhu bi-mā taʿmalūna khabīrun

If any of you die and leave widows behind, they shall wait concerning themselves four months and ten days: When they have fulfilled their term, there is no blame on you if they dispose of themselves in a just and reasonable manner. And Allah is well acquainted with what ye do.

Sura al-Baqara 2:240

وَٱلَّذِينَ يُتَوَفَّوْنَ مِنكُمْ وَيَذَرُونَ أَزْوَٰجًا وَصِيَّةً لِّأَزْوَٰجِهِم مَّتَٰعًا إِلَى ٱلْحَوْلِ غَيْرَ إِخْرَاجٍ فَإِنْ خَرَجْنَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِى مَا فَعَلْنَ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِنَّ مِن مَّعْرُوفٍ وَٱللَّـهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ

wa-lladhīna yutawaffawna minkum wa-yadharūna azwājan waṣīyatan li-azwājihim matāʿan ilā l-ḥawli ghayra ikhrājin fa-in kharajna fa-lā junāḥa ʿalaykum fī mā faʿalna fī anfusihinna min maʿrūfin wallāhu ʿazīzun ḥakīmun

Those of you who die and leave widows should bequeath for their widows a year's maintenance and residence; but if they leave (The residence), there is no blame on you for what they do with themselves, provided it is reasonable. And Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.

Sura al-Baqara 2:278

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ وَذَرُوا۟ مَا بَقِىَ مِنَ ٱلرِّبَوٰٓا۟ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

yā-ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū ittaqū allāha wa-dharū mā baqiya mina l-ribā in kuntum muʾminīna

O ye who believe! Fear Allah, and give up what remains of your demand for usury, if ye are indeed believers.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:129

وَلَن تَسْتَطِيعُوٓا۟ أَن تَعْدِلُوا۟ بَيْنَ ٱلنِّسَآءِ وَلَوْ حَرَصْتُمْ فَلَا تَمِيلُوا۟ كُلَّ ٱلْمَيْلِ فَتَذَرُوهَا كَٱلْمُعَلَّقَةِ وَإِن تُصْلِحُوا۟ وَتَتَّقُوا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا

wa-lan tastaṭīʿū an taʿdilū bayna l-nisāʾi wa-law ḥaraṣtum fa-lā tamīlū kulla l-mayli fatadharūhā ka-l-muʿallaqati wa-in tuṣliḥū wa-tattaqū fa-inna allāha kāna ghafūran raḥīman

Ye are never able to be fair and just as between women, even if it is your ardent desire: But turn not away (from a woman) altogether, so as to leave her (as it were) hanging (in the air). If ye come to a friendly understanding, and practise self-restraint, Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

Sura al-Anʿām 6:110

وَنُقَلِّبُ أَفْـِٔدَتَهُمْ وَأَبْصَٰرَهُمْ كَمَا لَمْ يُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِهِۦٓ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَنَذَرُهُمْ فِى طُغْيَٰنِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ

wa-nuqallibu afʾidatahum wa-abṣārahum ka-mā lam yuʾminū bihi awwala marratin wa-nadharuhum fī ṭughyānihim yaʿmahūna

We (too) shall turn to (confusion) their hearts and their eyes, even as they refused to believe in this in the first instance: We shall leave them in their trespasses, to wander in distraction.

Sura al-Anʿām 6:120

وَذَرُوا۟ ظَٰهِرَ ٱلْإِثْمِ وَبَاطِنَهُۥٓ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَكْسِبُونَ ٱلْإِثْمَ سَيُجْزَوْنَ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَقْتَرِفُونَ

wadharū ẓāhira l-ithmi wa-bāṭinahu inna lladhīna yaksibūna lithma sa-yujzawna bi-mā kānū yaqtarifūna

Eschew all sin, open or secret: those who earn sin will get due recompense for their "earnings."

Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:70

قَالُوٓا۟ أَجِئْتَنَا لِنَعْبُدَ ٱللَّـهَ وَحْدَهُۥ وَنَذَرَ مَا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ ءَابَآؤُنَا فَأْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

qālū a-jiʾtanā li-naʿbuda allāha waḥdahu wa-nadhara mā kāna yaʿbudu ābāʾunā fa-ʾtinā bi-mā taʿidunā in kunta mina l-ṣādiqīna

They said: "Comest thou to us, that we may worship Allah alone, and give up the cult of our fathers? bring us what thou threatenest us with, if so be that thou tellest the truth!"

Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:73

وَإِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمْ صَٰلِحًا قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُۥ قَدْ جَآءَتْكُم بَيِّنَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ هَٰذِهِۦ نَاقَةُ ٱللَّـهِ لَكُمْ ءَايَةً فَذَرُوهَا تَأْكُلْ فِىٓ أَرْضِ ٱللَّـهِ وَلَا تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوٓءٍ فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

wa-ilā thamūda akhāhum ṣāliḥan qalā yā-qawmi iʿbudū allāha mā la-kum min ilāhin ghayruhu qad jāʾatkum bayyinatun min rabbikum hādhihi nāqatu allāhi la-kum āyatan fa-dharūhā taʾkul fī arḍi allāhi wa-lā tamassūhā bi-sūʾin fa-yaʾkhudhakum ʿadhābun alīmun

To the Thamud people (We sent) Salih, one of their own brethren: He said: "O my people! worship Allah: ye have no other god but Him. Now hath come unto you a clear (Sign) from your Lord! This she-camel of Allah is a Sign unto you: So leave her to graze in Allah's earth, and let her come to no harm, or ye shall be seized with a grievous punishment.

Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:180

وَلِلَّەِ ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ فَٱدْعُوهُ بِهَا وَذَرُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ يُلْحِدُونَ فِىٓ أَسْمَٰٓئِهِۦ سَيُجْزَوْنَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

wa-lillahi l-asmāʾu l-ḥusnā fa-idʿūhu bihā wa-dharū lladhīna yulḥidūna fī asmāʾihi sa-yujzawna mā kānū yaʿmalūna

The most beautiful names belong to Allah: so call on him by them; but shun such men as use profanity in his names: for what they do, they will soon be requited.

Sura Yūnus 10:11

وَلَوْ يُعَجِّلُ ٱللَّـهُ لِلنَّاسِ ٱلشَّرَّ ٱسْتِعْجَالَهُم بِٱلْخَيْرِ لَقُضِىَ إِلَيْهِمْ أَجَلُهُمْ فَنَذَرُ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَآءَنَا فِى طُغْيَٰنِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ

wa-law yuʿajjilu allāhu lil-nāsi l-sharra istiʿjālahum bil-khayri la-quḍiya ilayhim ajaluhum fanadharu lladhīna lā yarjūna liqāʾanā fī ṭughyānihim yaʿmahūna

If Allah were to hasten for men the ill (they have earned) as they would fain hasten on the good,- then would their respite be settled at once. But We leave those who rest not their hope on their meeting with Us, in their trespasses, wandering in distraction to and fro.

Sura Hūd 11:64

وَيَٰقَوْمِ هَٰذِهِۦ نَاقَةُ ٱللَّـهِ لَكُمْ ءَايَةً فَذَرُوهَا تَأْكُلْ فِىٓ أَرْضِ ٱللَّـهِ وَلَا تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوٓءٍ فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ عَذَابٌ قَرِيبٌ

wa-yā-qawmi hādhihi nāqatu allāhi la-kum āyatan fa-dharūhā taʾkul fī arḍi allāhi wa-lā tamassūhā bi-sūʾin fa-yaʾkhudhakum ʿadhābun qarībun

"And O my people! This she-camel of Allah is a symbol to you: leave her to feed on Allah's (free) earth, and inflict no harm on her, or a swift penalty will seize you!"

Sura Yūsuf 12:47

قَالَ تَزْرَعُونَ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ دَأَبًا فَمَا حَصَدتُّمْ فَذَرُوهُ فِى سُنۢبُلِهِۦٓ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا مِّمَّا تَأْكُلُونَ

qalā tazraʿūna sabʿa sinīna daʾaban fa-mā ḥaṣadttum fa-dharūhu fī sunbulihi illā qalīlan mimmā taʾkulūna

(Joseph) said: "For seven years shall ye diligently sow as is your wont: and the harvests that ye reap, ye shall leave them in the ear,- except a little, of which ye shall eat.

Sura Maryam 19:72

ثُمَّ نُنَجِّى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوا۟ وَّنَذَرُ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ فِيهَا جِثِيًّا

thumma nunajjī lladhīna ittaqaw wwa-nadharu l-ẓālimīna fīhā jithiyyan

But We shall save those who guarded against evil, and We shall leave the wrong-doers therein, (humbled) to their knees.

Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:166

وَتَذَرُونَ مَا خَلَقَ لَكُمْ رَبُّكُم مِّنْ أَزْوَٰجِكُم بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ عَادُونَ

wa-tadharūna mā khalaqa la-kum rabbukum min azwājikum bal antum qawmun ʿādūna

"And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing (all limits)!"

Sura al-Ṣaffāt 37:125

أَتَدْعُونَ بَعْلًا وَتَذَرُونَ أَحْسَنَ ٱلْخَٰلِقِينَ

a-tadʿūna baʿlan wa-tadharūna aḥsana l-khāliqīna

"Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,-

Sura al-Ghāfir 40:26

وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ ذَرُونِىٓ أَقْتُلْ مُوسَىٰ وَلْيَدْعُ رَبَّهُۥٓ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ أَن يُبَدِّلَ دِينَكُمْ أَوْ أَن يُظْهِرَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلْفَسَادَ

wa-qāla firʿawun dharūnī aqtul mūsā wa-l-yadʿu rabbahu innī akhāfu an yubaddila dīnakum aw an yuẓhira fī l-arḍi l-fasāda

Said Pharaoh: "Leave me to slay Moses; and let him call on his Lord! What I fear is lest he should change your religion, or lest he should cause mischief to appear in the land!"

Sura al-Fatḥ 48:15

سَيَقُولُ ٱلْمُخَلَّفُونَ إِذَا ٱنطَلَقْتُمْ إِلَىٰ مَغَانِمَ لِتَأْخُذُوهَا ذَرُونَا نَتَّبِعْكُمْ يُرِيدُونَ أَن يُبَدِّلُوا۟ كَلَٰمَ ٱللَّـهِ قُل لَّن تَتَّبِعُونَا كَذَٰلِكُمْ قَالَ ٱللَّـهُ مِن قَبْلُ فَسَيَقُولُونَ بَلْ تَحْسُدُونَنَا بَلْ كَانُوا۟ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا

sa-yaqūlu l-mukhallafūna idhā inṭalaqtum ilā maghānima li-taʾkhudhūhā dharūnā nattabiʿkum yurīdūna an yubaddilū kalāma allāhi qul lan tattabiʿūnā kadhālikum qalā allāhu min qablu fa-sa-yaqūlūna bal taḥsudūnanā bal kānū lā yafqahūna illā qalīlan

Those who lagged behind (will say), when ye (are free to) march and take booty (in war): "Permit us to follow you." They wish to change Allah's decree: Say: "Not thus will ye follow us: Allah has already declared (this) beforehand": then they will say, "But ye are jealous of us." Nay, but little do they understand (such things).

Sura al-Jumuʿah 62:9

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِذَا نُودِىَ لِلصَّلَوٰةِ مِن يَوْمِ ٱلْجُمُعَةِ فَٱسْعَوْا۟ إِلَىٰ ذِكْرِ ٱللَّـهِ وَذَرُوا۟ ٱلْبَيْعَ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

yā-ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū idhā nūdiya lil-ṣalāti min yawmi l-jumuʿati fa-isʿaw ilā dhikri allāhi wa-dharū l-bayʿa dhālikum khayrun la-kum in kuntum taʿlamūna

O ye who believe! When the call is proclaimed to prayer on Friday (the Day of Assembly), hasten earnestly to the Remembrance of Allah, and leave off business (and traffic): That is best for you if ye but knew!

Sura Nūḥ 71:23

وَقَالُوا۟ لَا تَذَرُنَّ ءَالِهَتَكُمْ وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدًّا وَلَا سُوَاعًا وَلَا يَغُوثَ وَيَعُوقَ وَنَسْرًا

wa-qālū lā tadharunna ālihatakum wa-lā tadharunna waddan wa-lā sūāʿan wa-lā yaghūtha wa-yaʿūqa wa-nasran

"And they have said (to each other), 'Abandon not your gods: Abandon neither Wadd nor Suwa', neither Yaguth nor Ya'uq, nor Nasr';-

Sura al-Qiyāmah 75:21

وَتَذَرُونَ ٱلْأَخِرَةَ

wa-tadharūna l-akhirata

And leave alone the Hereafter.

Sura al-Insān 76:27

إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ يُحِبُّونَ ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ وَيَذَرُونَ وَرَآءَهُمْ يَوْمًا ثَقِيلًا

inna hāʾulāʾi yuḥibbūna l-ʿājilata wa-yadharūna warāʾahum yawman thaqīlan

As to these, they love the fleeting life, and put away behind them a Day (that will be) hard.
