Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:136

فَٱنتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَأَغْرَقْنَٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَكَانُوا۟ عَنْهَا غَٰفِلِينَ

fa-intaqamnā minhum fa-aghraqnāhum fī l-yammi bi-annahum kadhdhabū bi-āyātinā wa-kānū ʿanhā ghāfilīna

So We exacted retribution from them: We drowned them in the sea, because they rejected Our Signs and failed to take warning from them.

Sura Ṭā Hā 20:39

أَنِ ٱقْذِفِيهِ فِى ٱلتَّابُوتِ فَٱقْذِفِيهِ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ فَلْيُلْقِهِ ٱلْيَمُّ بِٱلسَّاحِلِ يَأْخُذْهُ عَدُوٌّ لِّى وَعَدُوٌّ لَّهُۥ وَأَلْقَيْتُ عَلَيْكَ مَحَبَّةً مِّنِّى وَلِتُصْنَعَ عَلَىٰ عَيْنِىٓ

ani iqdhifīhi fī l-tābūti fa-iqdhifīhi fī l-yammi fa-l-yulqihi l-yammu bil-sāḥili yakhudhhu ʿaduwwun lī wa-ʿaduwwun lahu wa-alqaytu ʿalayka maḥabbatan minnī wa-li-tuṣnaʿa ʿalā ʿaynī

"'Throw (the child) into the chest, and throw (the chest) into the river: the river will cast him up on the bank, and he will be taken up by one who is an enemy to Me and an enemy to him': But I cast (the garment of) love over thee from Me: and (this) in order that thou mayest be reared under Mine eye.

Sura Ṭā Hā 20:78

فَأَتْبَعَهُمْ فِرْعَوْنُ بِجُنُودِهِۦ فَغَشِيَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْيَمِّ مَا غَشِيَهُمْ

fa-atbaʿahum firʿawun bi-junūdihi fa-ghashiyahum mina l-yammi mā ghashiyahum

Then Pharaoh pursued them with his forces, but the waters completely overwhelmed them and covered them up.

Sura Ṭā Hā 20:97

قَالَ فَٱذْهَبْ فَإِنَّ لَكَ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ أَن تَقُولَ لَا مِسَاسَ وَإِنَّ لَكَ مَوْعِدًا لَّن تُخْلَفَهُۥ وَٱنظُرْ إِلَىٰٓ إِلَٰهِكَ ٱلَّذِى ظَلْتَ عَلَيْهِ عَاكِفًا لَّنُحَرِّقَنَّهُۥ ثُمَّ لَنَنسِفَنَّهُۥ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ نَسْفًا

qalā fadhhab fa-inna la-ka fī l-ḥayāti an taqūla lā misāsa wa-inna la-ka mawʿidan lan tukhlafahu wa-unẓur ila ilāhika alladhī ẓalta ʿalayhi ʿākifan la-nuḥarriqannahu thumma la-nansifannahu fī l-yammi nasfan

(Moses) said: "Get thee gone! but thy (punishment) in this life will be that thou wilt say, 'touch me not'; and moreover (for a future penalty) thou hast a promise that will not fail: Now look at thy god, of whom thou hast become a devoted worshipper: We will certainly (melt) it in a blazing fire and scatter it broadcast in the sea!"

Sura al-Qaṣaṣ 28:7

وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أُمِّ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنْ أَرْضِعِيهِ فَإِذَا خِفْتِ عَلَيْهِ فَأَلْقِيهِ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ وَلَا تَخَافِى وَلَا تَحْزَنِىٓ إِنَّا رَآدُّوهُ إِلَيْكِ وَجَاعِلُوهُ مِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

wa-awḥaynā ila ummi mūsā an arḍiʿīhi fa-idhā khifti ʿalayhi fa-alqīhi fī l-yammi wa-lā takhāfī wa-lā taḥzanī innā rāddūhu ilayki wa-jāʿilūhu mina l-mursalīna

So We sent this inspiration to the mother of Moses: "Suckle (thy child), but when thou hast fears about him, cast him into the river, but fear not nor grieve: for We shall restore him to thee, and We shall make him one of Our messengers."

Sura al-Qaṣaṣ 28:40

فَأَخَذْنَٰهُ وَجُنُودَهُۥ فَنَبَذْنَٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

fa-akhadhnāhu wa-junūdahu fa-nabadhnāhum fī l-yammi fa-inẓur kayfa kāna ʿāqibatu l-ẓālimīna

So We seized him and his hosts, and We flung them into the sea: Now behold what was the end of those who did wrong!

Sura al-Dhāriyāt 51:40

فَأَخَذْنَٰهُ وَجُنُودَهُۥ فَنَبَذْنَٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌ

fa-akhadhnāhu wa-junūdahu fa-nabadhnāhum fī l-yammi wa-huwa mulīmun

So We took him and his forces, and threw them into the sea; and his was the blame.
