Sura al-Isrāʾ 17:64

وَٱسْتَفْزِزْ مَنِ ٱسْتَطَعْتَ مِنْهُم بِصَوْتِكَ وَأَجْلِبْ عَلَيْهِم بِخَيْلِكَ وَرَجِلِكَ وَشَارِكْهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَمْوَٰلِ وَٱلْأَوْلَٰدِ وَعِدْهُمْ وَمَا يَعِدُهُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ إِلَّا غُرُورًا

wa-istafziz mani istaṭaʿta minhum bi-ṣawtika wa-ajlib ʿalayhim bi-khaylika wa-rajilika wa-shārikhum fī l-amwāli wa-l-awlādi wa-ʿidhum wa-mā yaʿiduhumu l-shayṭānu illā ghurūran

"Lead to destruction those whom thou canst among them, with thy (seductive) voice; make assaults on them with thy cavalry and thy infantry; mutually share with them wealth and children; and make promises to them." But Satan promises them nothing but deceit.

Sura Ṭā Hā 20:108

يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَّبِعُونَ ٱلدَّاعِىَ لَا عِوَجَ لَهُۥ وَخَشَعَتِ ٱلْأَصْوَاتُ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ فَلَا تَسْمَعُ إِلَّا هَمْسًا

yawmaʾidhin yattabiʿūna l-dāʿiya lā ʿiwaja lahu wa-khashaʿati l-aṣwātu lil-raḥmāni fa-lā tasmaʿu illā hamsan

On that Day will they follow the Caller (straight): no crookedness (can they show) him: all sounds shall humble themselves in the Presence of (Allah) Most Gracious: nothing shalt thou hear but the tramp of their feet (as they march).

Sura Luqmān 31:19

وَٱقْصِدْ فِى مَشْيِكَ وَٱغْضُضْ مِن صَوْتِكَ إِنَّ أَنكَرَ ٱلْأَصْوَٰتِ لَصَوْتُ ٱلْحَمِيرِ

wa-iqṣid fī mashyika wa-ighḍuḍ min ṣawtika inna ankara l-aṣwāti la-ṣawtu l-ḥamīri

"And be moderate in thy pace, and lower thy voice; for the harshest of sounds without doubt is the braying of the ass."

Sura al-Ḥujurāt 49:2

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَرْفَعُوٓا۟ أَصْوَٰتَكُمْ فَوْقَ صَوْتِ ٱلنَّبِىِّ وَلَا تَجْهَرُوا۟ لَهُۥ بِٱلْقَوْلِ كَجَهْرِ بَعْضِكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ أَن تَحْبَطَ أَعْمَٰلُكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَشْعُرُونَ

yā-ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū lā tarfaʿū aṣwātakum fawqa ṣawti l-nabiyyi wa-lā tajharū lahu bil-qawli kajahri baʿḍikum li-baʿḍin an taḥbaṭa aʿmālukum wa-antum lā tashʿurūna

O ye who believe! Raise not your voices above the voice of the Prophet, nor speak aloud to him in talk, as ye may speak aloud to one another, lest your deeds become vain and ye perceive not.

Sura al-Ḥujurāt 49:3

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَغُضُّونَ أَصْوَٰتَهُمْ عِندَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّـهِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱمْتَحَنَ ٱللَّـهُ قُلُوبَهُمْ لِلتَّقْوَىٰ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ

inna lladhīna yaghuḍḍūna aṣwātahum ʿinda rasūli allāhi ulāʾika lladhīna imtaḥana allāhu qulūbahum lil-taqwā lahum maghfiratun wa-ajrun ʿaẓīmun

Those that lower their voices in the presence of Allah's Messenger,- their hearts has Allah tested for piety: for them is Forgiveness and a great Reward.
