Surah 27 al-Naml (The Ant)

(27:46)	قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ لِمَ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ قَبْلَ ٱلْحَسَنَةِ لَوْلَا تَسْتَغْفِرُونَ ٱللَّـهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ	qalā yā‑qawmi lima tastaʿjilūna bil‑sayyiʾati qabla l‑ḥasanati lawlā tastaghfirūna allāha la‑ʿallakum turḥamūna	He said: "O my people! why ask ye to hasten on the evil in preference to the good? If only ye ask Allah for forgiveness, ye may hope to receive mercy. Sura al-Naml 27:46 قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ لِمَ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ قَبْلَ ٱلْحَسَنَةِ لَوْلَا تَسْتَغْفِرُونَ ٱللَّـهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ qalā yā-qawmi lima tastaʿjilūna bil-sayyiʾati qabla l-ḥasanati lawlā tastaghfirūna allāha la-ʿallakum turḥamūna He said: "O my people! why ask ye to hasten on the evil in preference to the good? If only ye ask Allah for forgiveness, ye may hope to receive mercy.
(27:72)	قُلْ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ رَدِفَ لَكُم بَعْضُ ٱلَّذِى تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ	qul ʿasā an yakūna radifa la‑kum baʿḍu alladhī tastaʿjilūna	Say: "It may be that some of the events which ye wish to hasten on may be (close) in your pursuit!" Sura al-Naml 27:72 قُلْ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ رَدِفَ لَكُم بَعْضُ ٱلَّذِى تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ qul ʿasā an yakūna radifa la-kum baʿḍu alladhī tastaʿjilūna Say: "It may be that some of the events which ye wish to hasten on may be (close) in your pursuit!"
