Sura al-Baqara 2:96

وَلَتَجِدَنَّهُمْ أَحْرَصَ ٱلنَّاسِ عَلَىٰ حَيَوٰةٍ وَمِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا۟ يَوَدُّ أَحَدُهُمْ لَوْ يُعَمَّرُ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ وَمَا هُوَ بِمُزَحْزِحِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ أَن يُعَمَّرَ وَٱللَّـهُ بَصِيرٌۢ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ

wa-la-tajidannahum aḥraṣa l-nāsi ʿalā ḥayāwtin wa-mina lladhīna ashrakū yawaddu aḥaduhum law yuʿammaru alfa sanatin wa-mā huwa bi-muzaḥziḥihi mina l-ʿadhābi an yuʿammara wallāhu baṣīrun bi-mā yaʿmalūna

Thou wilt indeed find them, of all people, most greedy of life,-even more than the idolaters: Each one of them wishes He could be given a life of a thousand years: But the grant of such life will not save him from (due) punishment. For Allah sees well all that they do.

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:124

إِذْ تَقُولُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَلَن يَكْفِيَكُمْ أَن يُمِدَّكُمْ رَبُّكُم بِثَلَٰثَةِ ءَالَٰفٍ مِّنَ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ مُنزَلِينَ

idh taqūlu lil-muʾminīna alan yakfiyakum an yumiddakum rabbukum bi-thalāthati ālāfin mina l-malāʾikati munzalīna

Remember thou saidst to the Faithful: "Is it not enough for you that Allah should help you with three thousand angels (Specially) sent down?

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:125

بَلَىٰٓ إِن تَصْبِرُوا۟ وَتَتَّقُوا۟ وَيَأْتُوكُم مِّن فَوْرِهِمْ هَٰذَا يُمْدِدْكُمْ رَبُّكُم بِخَمْسَةِ ءَالَٰفٍ مِّنَ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ مُسَوِّمِينَ

balā in taṣbirū wa-tattaqū wa-yatūkum min fawrihim hādhā yumdidkum rabbukum bi-khamsati ālāfin mina l-malāʾikati musawwimīna

"Yea, - if ye remain firm, and act aright, even if the enemy should rush here on you in hot haste, your Lord would help you with five thousand angels Making a terrific onslaught.

Sura al-Anfāl 8:9

إِذْ تَسْتَغِيثُونَ رَبَّكُمْ فَٱسْتَجَابَ لَكُمْ أَنِّى مُمِدُّكُم بِأَلْفٍ مِّنَ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ مُرْدِفِينَ

idh tastaghīthūna rabbakum fa-istajāba la-kum annī mumiddukum bi-alfin mina l-malāʾikati murdifīna

Remember ye implored the assistance of your Lord, and He answered you: "I will assist you with a thousand of the angels, ranks on ranks."

Sura al-Anfāl 8:65

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ حَرِّضِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَى ٱلْقِتَالِ إِن يَكُن مِّنكُمْ عِشْرُونَ صَٰبِرُونَ يَغْلِبُوا۟ مِا۟ئَتَيْنِ وَإِن يَكُن مِّنكُم مِّا۟ئَةٌ يَغْلِبُوٓا۟ أَلْفًا مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَفْقَهُونَ

yā-ayyuhā l-nabiyyu ḥarriḍi l-muʾminīna ʿalā l-qitāli in yakun minkum ʿishrūna ṣābirūna yaghlibū miʾatayni wa-in yakun minkum miʾatun yaghlibū alfan mina lladhīna kafarū bi-annahum qawmun lā yafqahūna

O Prophet! rouse the Believers to the fight. If there are twenty amongst you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred: if a hundred, they will vanquish a thousand of the Unbelievers: for these are a people without understanding.

Sura al-Anfāl 8:66

ٱلْـَٰٔنَ خَفَّفَ ٱللَّـهُ عَنكُمْ وَعَلِمَ أَنَّ فِيكُمْ ضَعْفًا فَإِن يَكُن مِّنكُم مِّا۟ئَةٌ صَابِرَةٌ يَغْلِبُوا۟ مِا۟ئَتَيْنِ وَإِن يَكُن مِّنكُمْ أَلْفٌ يَغْلِبُوٓا۟ أَلْفَيْنِ بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّـهِ وَٱللَّـهُ مَعَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ

l-ana khaffafa allāhu ʿankum wa-ʿalima annā fīkum ḍaʿfan fa-in yakun minkum miʾatun ṣābiratun yaghlibū miʾatayni wa-in yakun minkum alfun yaghlibū alfayni bi-idhni allāhi wallāhu maʿa l-ṣābirīna

For the present, Allah hath lightened your (task), for He knoweth that there is a weak spot in you: But (even so), if there are a hundred of you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred, and if a thousand, they will vanquish two thousand, with the leave of Allah: for Allah is with those who patiently persevere.

Sura al-Ḥajj 22:47

وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِٱلْعَذَابِ وَلَن يُخْلِفَ ٱللَّـهُ وَعْدَهُۥ وَإِنَّ يَوْمًا عِندَ رَبِّكَ كَأَلْفِ سَنَةٍ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّونَ

wa-yastaʿjilūnaka bil-ʿadhābi wa-lan yukhlifa allāhu waʿdahu wa-inna yawman ʿinda rabbika kaalfi sanatin mimmā taʿuddūna

Yet they ask thee to hasten on the Punishment! But Allah will not fail in His Promise. Verily a Day in the sight of thy Lord is like a thousand years of your reckoning.

Sura al-ʿAnkabūt 29:14

وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ فَلَبِثَ فِيهِمْ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ إِلَّا خَمْسِينَ عَامًا فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱلطُّوفَانُ وَهُمْ ظَٰلِمُونَ

wa-la-qad arsalnā nūḥan ilā qawmihi fa-labitha fīhim alfa sanatin illā khamsīna ʿāman fa-akhadhahumu l-ṭūfānu wa-hum ẓālimūna

We (once) sent Noah to his people, and he tarried among them a thousand years less fifty: but the Deluge overwhelmed them while they (persisted in) sin.

Sura al-Sajdah 32:5

يُدَبِّرُ ٱلْأَمْرَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ يَعْرُجُ إِلَيْهِ فِى يَوْمٍ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُۥٓ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّونَ

yudabbiru l-amra mina l-samāʾi ilā l-arḍi thumma yaʿruju ilayhi fī yawmin kāna miqdāruhu alfa sanatin mimmā taʿuddūna

He rules (all) affairs from the heavens to the earth: in the end will (all affairs) go up to Him, on a Day, the space whereof will be (as) a thousand years of your reckoning.

Sura al-Ṣaffāt 37:147

وَأَرْسَلْنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ مِا۟ئَةِ أَلْفٍ أَوْ يَزِيدُونَ

wa-arsalnāhu ilā miʾati alfin aw yazīdūna

And We sent him (on a mission) to a hundred thousand (men) or more.

Sura al-Maʿārij 70:4

تَعْرُجُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ إِلَيْهِ فِى يَوْمٍ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُۥ خَمْسِينَ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ

taʿruju l-malāʾikatu wa-l-rūḥu ilayhi fī yawmin kāna miqdāruhu khamsīna alfa sanatin

The angels and the spirit ascend unto him in a Day the measure whereof is (as) fifty thousand years:

Sura al-Qadr 97:3

لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ

laylatu l-qadri khayrun min alfi shahrin

The Night of Power is better than a thousand months.
