Sura Fuṣṣilat 41:25

وَقَيَّضْنَا لَهُمْ قُرَنَآءَ فَزَيَّنُوا۟ لَهُم مَّا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَحَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْقَوْلُ فِىٓ أُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ خَٰسِرِينَ

wa-qayyaḍnā lahum quranāʾa fa-zayyanū lahum mā bayna aydīhim wa-mā khalfahum wa-ḥaqqa ʿalayhimu l-qawlu fī umamin qad khalat min qablihim mina l-jinni wa-l-insi innahum kānū khāsirīna

And We have destined for them intimate companions (of like nature), who made alluring to them what was before them and behind them; and the sentence among the previous generations of Jinns and men, who have passed away, is proved against them; for they are utterly lost.
