Surah 16 al-Naḥl (The Bee)

(16:55)    | لِيَكْفُرُوا۟ بِمَآ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ فَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ | li‑yakfurū bimā ātaynāhum fa‑tamattaʿū fa‑sawfa taʿlamūna | (As if) to show their ingratitude for the favours we have
bestowed on them! then enjoy (your brief day): but soon will ye know (your
folly)!
Sura al-Naḥl 16:55 لِيَكْفُرُوا۟ بِمَآ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ فَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ li-yakfurū bimā ātaynāhum fa-tamattaʿū fa-sawfa taʿlamūna (As if) to show their ingratitude for the favours we have bestowed on them! then enjoy (your brief day): but soon will ye know (your folly)! |
Surah 29 al-ʿAnkabūt (The Spider) | (29:66) | لِيَكْفُرُوا۟ بِمَآ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ وَلِيَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ | li‑yakfurū bimā ātaynāhum wa‑li‑yatamattaʿū fa‑sawfa yaʿlamūna | Disdaining ungratefully Our gifts, and giving themselves up to
(worldly) enjoyment! But soon will they know.
Sura al-ʿAnkabūt 29:66 لِيَكْفُرُوا۟ بِمَآ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ وَلِيَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ li-yakfurū bimā ātaynāhum wa-li-yatamattaʿū fa-sawfa yaʿlamūna Disdaining ungratefully Our gifts, and giving themselves up to (worldly) enjoyment! But soon will they know. |
Surah 30 al-Rūm (The Romans) | (30:34) | لِيَكْفُرُوا۟ بِمَآ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ فَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ | li‑yakfurū bimā ātaynāhum fa‑tamattaʿū fa‑sawfa taʿlamūna | (As if) to show their ingratitude for the (favours) We have
bestowed on them! Then enjoy (your brief day); but soon will ye know (your
folly).
Sura al-Rūm 30:34 لِيَكْفُرُوا۟ بِمَآ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ فَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ li-yakfurū bimā ātaynāhum fa-tamattaʿū fa-sawfa taʿlamūna (As if) to show their ingratitude for the (favours) We have bestowed on them! Then enjoy (your brief day); but soon will ye know (your folly). |
Surah 34 Sabaʾ (Sheba) | (34:45) | وَكَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَمَا بَلَغُوا۟ مِعْشَارَ مَآ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ فَكَذَّبُوا۟ رُسُلِى فَكَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ | wa‑kadhdhaba lladhīna min qablihim wa‑mā balaghū miʿshāra mā ātaynāhum fa‑kadhdhabū rusulī fa‑kayfa kāna nakīri | And their predecessors rejected (the Truth); these have not
received a tenth of what We had granted to those: yet when they rejected My
messengers, how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)!
Sura Sabaʾ 34:45 وَكَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَمَا بَلَغُوا۟ مِعْشَارَ مَآ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ فَكَذَّبُوا۟ رُسُلِى فَكَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ wa-kadhdhaba lladhīna min qablihim wa-mā balaghū miʿshāra mā ātaynāhum fa-kadhdhabū rusulī fa-kayfa kāna nakīri And their predecessors rejected (the Truth); these have not received a tenth of what We had granted to those: yet when they rejected My messengers, how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)! |
Surah 35 al-Faṭīr (The Creator) | (35:40) | قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ شُرَكَآءَكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّـهِ أَرُونِى مَاذَا خَلَقُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ أَمْ لَهُمْ شِرْكٌ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ أَمْ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ كِتَٰبًا فَهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَتٍ مِّنْهُ بَلْ إِن يَعِدُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ بَعْضُهُم بَعْضًا إِلَّا غُرُورًا | qul a‑raʾaytum shurakāakumu lladhīna tadʿūna min dūni allāhi arūnī mādhā khalaqū mina l‑arḍi am lahum shirkun fī l‑samāwāti am ātaynāhum kitāban fa‑hum ʿalā bayyinatin minhu bal in yaʿidu l‑ẓālimūna baʿḍuhum baʿḍan illā ghurūran | Say: "Have ye seen (these) 'Partners' of yours whom ye call
upon besides Allah? Show Me what it is they have created in the (wide) earth.
Or have they a share in the heavens? Or have We given them a Book from
which they (can derive) clear (evidence)?- Nay, the wrong-doers promise
each other nothing but delusions.
Sura al-Faṭīr 35:40 قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ شُرَكَآءَكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّـهِ أَرُونِى مَاذَا خَلَقُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ أَمْ لَهُمْ شِرْكٌ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ أَمْ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ كِتَٰبًا فَهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَتٍ مِّنْهُ بَلْ إِن يَعِدُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ بَعْضُهُم بَعْضًا إِلَّا غُرُورًا qul a-raʾaytum shurakāakumu lladhīna tadʿūna min dūni allāhi arūnī mādhā khalaqū mina l-arḍi am lahum shirkun fī l-samāwāti am ātaynāhum kitāban fa-hum ʿalā bayyinatin minhu bal in yaʿidu l-ẓālimūna baʿḍuhum baʿḍan illā ghurūran Say: "Have ye seen (these) 'Partners' of yours whom ye call upon besides Allah? Show Me what it is they have created in the (wide) earth. Or have they a share in the heavens? Or have We given them a Book from which they (can derive) clear (evidence)?- Nay, the wrong-doers promise each other nothing but delusions. |
Surah 43 al-Zukhruf (The Embellishment) | (43:21) | أَمْ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ كِتَٰبًا مِّن قَبْلِهِۦ فَهُم بِهِۦ مُسْتَمْسِكُونَ | am ātaynāhum kitāban min qablihi fa‑hum bihi mustamsikūna | What! have We given them a Book before this, to which they are
holding fast?
Sura al-Zukhruf 43:21 أَمْ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ كِتَٰبًا مِّن قَبْلِهِۦ فَهُم بِهِۦ مُسْتَمْسِكُونَ am ātaynāhum kitāban min qablihi fa-hum bihi mustamsikūna What! have We given them a Book before this, to which they are holding fast? |
