Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:188

لَا تَحْسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَفْرَحُونَ بِمَآ أَتَوا۟ وَّيُحِبُّونَ أَن يُحْمَدُوا۟ بِمَا لَمْ يَفْعَلُوا۟ فَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّهُم بِمَفَازَةٍ مِّنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

lā taḥsabanna lladhīna yafraḥūna bimā ātaw wwa-yuḥibbūna an yuḥmadū bi-mā lam yafʿalū fa-lā taḥsabannahum bimafāzatin mina l-ʿadhābi wa-lahum ʿadhābun alīmun

Think not that those who exult in what they have brought about, and love to be praised for what they have not done,- think escape the penalty. For them is a penalty Grievous indeed.
